Oh wow I'm glad I found this post thanks Mr. Mcrae a lady named Brenda carter called my husband on 12/4/2009 but he did not answer because it was from an unknown number. she left a message saying that "she was from national attorney and she had a file with his name on it that she has already wrapped it up and he needed to call her back that day or she would take legal action". I called the number today 12/7/2009 because my husband is busy at work so i decided to call them for him. the extension that the lady gave for him to use is not a valid extension number and i wrote the information down exactly as i heard it. if anyone wants the number for this company it claims to be [protected]. it is just some voice mail service that you have to have an extension number for. i believe that it is a fake number but you can still try it if you want good luck to all. and like Mr. Mcrae said please don't worry=-)

My sister in law kept getting calls from a National Attorney Alliance from [protected], which isn't even a US number. They were looking for my son who hasn't lived with her for over 3 years. They bullied her and tried to get information out of her, but she wasn't falling for it. They also said they wanted to get in touch with him before their final step of legal action. It is just a scam!! Unfortunately, she called them back and now has an expensive, out-of-country call on her phone bill!!

Yesterday, I received a call from a Stepanie Lucciano stating she is calling from National Attorney (# [protected] ext 275)- I knew right away this was not right, I am going through Bankruptcy and having a hard time trying to make it after I lost 2 of my homes. So, when I received this call from her, I did not understand why she was calling me, an attorney? . It was for a debt that I had put in for bankruptcy. Upon hearing everything she was saying, I realized this is not an attorney-Attorneys do not say words like “you betta” (you better). I ask if I could call her back after work and she stated, "Well by that time I be Home". I stated okay I will have my bankrutcy lawyer call you tomorrow. So I am calling my lawyer today so they can talk.

I justed received a call from Fenius Kirby at Nat'l Attorney (877-202-5736x278) who was calling on a debt i inccured earlier this year after loosing my job. He told me that if I don't call back in 24 hours he would send my file to court. I explained that I am still unemployed and have no money. He asked if I had a bank acct or credit card to make payment arrangements, I said I didn't, which is true because I lost everything when I lost my job... I was instructed to go purchase a pre-paid debit card and call him back with the card number and a date to deduct payment. I was so nervous about the legal action threat I had to take a valium... Then I decided to call my dad to ask for the money to pay these people... Before picking up the phone to make that dreded call, i asked my friend what he thought. He said it was probably just a collection agency because if it was a lawfirm, I would have received notification in the mail to contact them, not a phone call threatening legal action. After he said that, I decided to do a google search and I AM GLAD I DID. I read so many complaints about this company that I am going to ignore it. If I happen to be taken to court then so be it. What are they going to do, take the shirt off my back because thats all I have right now...

These people continue to call me and harass me. I received 6 calls from Marty Richards within the span of 30 seconds. He would call it wouldn't even ring one full ring before he hung up. The number was [protected]. He has called from an 877 number in the past as well and felt the need to inform my mother that he was only trying to help me and keep me from getting a subpoena. I am not sure what to do at this point, but I am tired of being harassed and having my business put out there to anyone who happens to answer the phone. If I had actually been at school tonight I would have been kicked out for sure thanks to the repeated calling.

Just received a call from Unknown and the call back was [protected] I called back but did not leave a message and contacted my debt management plan to look into this scam. By looking at the other posts with same number and they gave the whole deal I have the matter wrapped up at my desk need to call today, they do make you very nervous. I too have gone through a bankruptcy in the past year.

I received a phone call from this National Attorneys, told me in the same words you all have put them and told me that I need to call him back. We are going through Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and I have nothing pending, absolutely nothingg. I gave everything to my attorney and also just gave him a call with this phone number and extension. The phone number that this Kenneth gave me is constantly busy. So I called the number [protected] in which it came through the first time and it was them. A receptionist answered and sent me to his voice male. I left him the message that I called my attorney and told them you have something that I need to pay along with his name and phone number. I haven't heard anything from National Attorneys yet. We will see

Simple solution: If in fact you've already completed your BK, then just provide your attorney's contact info to them and they will dismiss your file. As for the deadbeats who have taken out "cash advances" and are upset at the fact that someone is asking them to actually pay back the money that was borrowed: You've really got some nerve and no shame what-so-ever. It's laughable to read your comments. You got yourselves in this mess by being financially irresponsible and now want sympathy for the fact that you refuse to pay your debts? You are professional pan-handlers who are used to a free hand out. Guess what? The only fraud committed is the promissory note and the check that you signed. The check that you bounced is the only fraud that has been perpetrated!

Not true, just because you take out a payday loan and cant pay it back come due date does NOT makeit fraud. People miss house payments, car payments, credit card payment, ect. that is not fraud. When you It is against the law for them to impersonate a police officer or officer of the law. They cannot threated to arrest you or block your social security number. This is still the United States and we citizens have rights! You cannot get arrested for not paying your bills. You can go to jail if they can prove you intentionally took out money and intended not to pay them back. Which in my opnion would be very hard to prove.

Today i reieved a phone call from NACS. all i heard was "attorney" amd that i would be taken to court for the pay day advance i took out in october. i forgot about the pay day advance when my father passed away 2 weeks later. So there for i didnt pay what i had owned. i had been going to the same check cashing store for 3 years and getting payday advances and paying them back on time. I received a phone call at work from a Mr. Klienfeld [protected] EXT 245, and i had made payment arragements with him with a prepaid visa card. But now that i am reading these posts i am very upset. He told me i was going to be taken to court for not paying this debt. If i did not pay within the 60 days i had to pay.i have recieved phone calls like this before, but was not at work. I have given him my cell phone number. I had asked him to call my attorney and he refused. and I also asked him to send me a statement stating that i have made payment arragements, which he said he could not do as well. After reading these postes i will be calling him tomorrow and having my attorney call for harrassment.

I am having the same problem with this company..they call me all the time, yes i do know that i owe money, but dont have it at this time. tried to make payment arrangements, which they wouldnt accept. Have made some payments, and asked for a receipt, and they wouldnt send one, nor would they send me a statment showing what I owe. I feel that if your nice and polite you might get a little money, being rude makes me angry and gets you nowhere. Looking into an attorney...

I too have received calls regarding a payday loan that has 500.00 now 180.00 owed on it and like the others in this post offered payment arrangements that were declined. I also ran into the rude receptionist and have heard the threats of 480.00 plus court costs and classes etcetera. I was a collector for 8 years for Citibank and they people seem to be very young and probably work on commission. I know that it would cost them more to sue me that what is owed and after reading every single one of these posts was still contemplating going for what they offered until I read the DEAD BEATS post which is most certainly one of their collectors or wannabe collectors sounding off. The profanity that he or she tries to cover up by using signs doesn't change the fact that he represents their company and for that reason I will pay this on my terms and not theirs. National Attorneys...teach your people how to collect money not wind you up on a site like this not getting paid.

I recieved a call at my job from Natioenal Attorneys Collection services. This guy continued to call my job after we set up an arrangement for 9-1-2011. On 9-1-2011 This so called collector called my job again and told one of my co-workers that he was going to sue me. That is my personal bussiness not my co-workers. I called him back and had words with him regarding calling my job which is a form if harrassemnt. I could have lost my job and he would not have gotten paid. His response was he can say what he want and basically can do what he want. First of all, It was 11:20 in the morning my shift had just started and we have a courier that delivers our checks to us depending on other deliveries. The day had just began and the day was not over. He last words to me was "good luck" I agree. I will not be paying on their terms but, on my own terms. He was very rude, cocky and arrogant. I could hae lost my job and I have a family to support. I ahve started to persue further action.

There are deadbeats in this world but most of the time when someone does not pay what they owe it is because something in their life changed after they made that debt that prevents them from being able to pay. Then when companies add all the charges, well when you get another job or are able to pay something, you owe a fortune, maybe three times what you did and they don't want payments! So what do you do? That is why people file bankruptcy!! I went through a bad time and when this company called me I recorded all of their calls. After a few times of their fake threats, "jail etc" I waited for them to call again. Then I played back that part of my recording. I told them I would have my attorney call and we would be considering a suit. Not one word since then.

National attorneys is real lol I was in debt over $1, 000 & they served me with the paperwork to go to court. Im now in debt over $4, 000 cus of the court cost & fee's since I'm a single mothr I got the chance to do community service but they sent it to collections now I have the worst credit ever! I should of jus took the offer they gave me. It's funny how people think you can borrow money sign a contract then not expect to pay it back & there will be no consequences . Eventually it will all catch up to you...

I got a call from an [protected] number. I wasn't home but they left the information with a family member saying that I needed to call them back immediately because they were suing me and some sheriffs were going to come to my house to arrest me. Of course I panicked when they told me and immediately called them back. A girl "Mayra Moran" told me that I owed $700.00 but if I chose to go through court it was going to be around $4000 which it didn't make sense to me. I asked her what this was about and it came up to be from a poor choice purchased that I made in 2007 for a camera; which I paid $125.00 extra for a year of insurance but three months later got damaged so since I had paid for insurance I took it back and they said they couldn't fix it anymore. I spoke to one of their sales person about it I took my warranty and proof so they offered me a new one and I said no since I had received such a bad service. They said they will clear my balance which was $200.00 since I had already paid 80% of the purchase. I explained this to this company and she was really rude saying that I was going to pay so much money and that a sheriffs was going to come to my house on March 1st. This company uses pathetic techniques to scare people and harass them. I told the lady that I had proof of all that and I'll see them in court. I'm glad I googled it and came to this page. I understand its their job but the way they are doing it's so wrong!

A guy from this company had been calling my work, left messages asking me for my employers payroll department so they can contact them to garnish my wages. I've been researching the web and they can only garnish wages once they have obtained a judgement from court & before they can get one, they need to serve me legally. The guy had also contacted people on my reference list and are threatening them to give my info so he can stop the sherrif from picking me up. I'm not an idiot, sad thing is I offered to settle this debt by payment arrangement which is the only thing I can do considering my financial situation. They refused. They are collecting a payday loan I defaulted on orig amount of $2600 which I have already paid $2400 thru the payday loan company. He's claiming the reason the balance is higher is due to interest...I'm researching this again and most sites state there is a cap for this type loan bec of its outrageous rates. I'd like to know how I can stop him from calling me at work and other people discussing personal information. I provided him my cell # which I let run to voice mail but it hasnt stopped him from calling around. I told him only to call me when he's ready to accept my pmt offer, but if not, to stop calling. Any one know how to make the calls stop permanently?

This company is a joke. I was contacted by Paige Wolford (sadly she is actually a supervisor) on a wednesday night last week (March 28th 2012), to discuss an amount I owed, which was 800 bucks. I let her know that I was receiving a check in the mail in the next few days, maybe a week at most, and I would be happy to take care of this in full. She demanded me to borrow money from somebody because I had to pay this by friday March 30th or my paperwork was being taken down to the court house to file charges etc possible garnish of wages. I called her back the next day to let her know I needed something mailed to me stating the amount I owed etc and she refused saying her office has been sending me stuff in the mail. (they never sent anything to me). I found this odd that she refused to mail me anything showing me an actual amount I owed. How do I know this isn't a scam? I finally convinced her to fax me the paperwork. By now this is monday april 2nd the next week. She then said i had until today (Friday) to pay this amount or I would have extra fees tacked on to the amount. I call her to let her know I am ready to make a payment and she is off today. WT[censored] She has been nothing but rude to me the entire time, despite my cooperation. It is so ridiculous. I have called her back when she has left messages, offered to pay the amount that was owed, have done nothing but be pro active in taking care of my debt. I can't believe how this collection agency works. They pretend to be working for an attorney and make you feel like you can do nothing but pay this amount in full in a day or two or see them in court. They have hi pressure tactics, and its should be against the law how they do business. I can actually pay the payment, but what about the poor people out there that can't due to lack of work, the economy, etc?? Why do they act like they are going to garnish wages, call your work and talk to your supervisor, call your references. like I said before this company is a joke!

I told them im not interested in their Spam and to spam someone else.

This number [protected] ext 325 called my best friend and told her that they needed to get a hold of me for some "training" i haven't signed up for any training, I am currently going through a tough time, I have lost my job, I am homeless, going from house to house. They just added stress to me because there is no reason for them to be calling my friend and having her worry or calling her early in the morning. I am so glad i decided to do some research on the number and now I know who they are. When I did call the receptionist was so RUDE!

This company called me the other day on July 31, 2012; my file was given to them by Check N Go corporate office on June 10th.This company had my file in their hands already for a month; the lady Karen Watson [protected] x 245 or [protected] stated if i didn't pay my loan by Friday August 4th they were going to sue me plus interest and court, attorney fees. I was laid off from my job, been looking since January, living on unemployment with 3 small kids; stressed out already because i might have to move and live in a shelter. Karen told me if I don't borrow this money i will end up paying about $10k total. I was stressed out! until i found this website, so i started checking into this they stated their lawyer is Sareen Bezdikian #229165, took me an argument to get that information. I am making a complaint with the Ca Bar Assoc. to find out if this attorney is legit. They can sue me, i know what i owe, I have other credit cards, house, living expenses I'm trying to pay. But what am I suppose to do if the economy is down and Bush screwed us over. Temp agencies, putting in applications and I have a degree in business; we are all fighting for jobs out here. Its not easy but receiving phone calls like this is upsetting and frustrating in all. I will pay all my debts when i get back on my feet, until then this company needs to stop with all the lies, harassment, and threats. They have to provide the Attorney's name bar number and send you paperwork validating the debt 5 days after the phone call. If they do not provide documentation about the debt, there business information then its not valid.

I also got contacted by this company!! On a freaking Sunday!! Really? I tried talking to them and they were the rudest people ever! The most that I had left owed on my loan was about $500 but they told me if I didnt pay asap then the would garnish my check for...$3500. Where did that come from?? After doing some research and reading some of the other post I realize that this is some big scam and I will contact the place where I got the loan to set up payment arrangements. They want their money so Im sure they will work with me.

I was about to interview at this company's glendale office, but not anymore. Not after doing RESEARCH. Granted no one but the owner of any collections agency will ever have any commendations to say about collections, or a client about their fantastic unbelievable experience with a collections company(unless THEY paid off your debt for you..fat chance!), it's the former employee reviews that got me. 6 day work weeks, constantly variable work schedules, high bar to reach for such a minimal commission pay structure?? Are you kidding me, no wonder it seems they are only able to attract what appears through these reviews to be such unqualified and inexperienced "collectors". They couldnt make me "cry" as one former employee put it, but Id love to see the person who had the guts to try that on me. Yeah, only way Im working 6 days a week with an inconsistent schedule is if Im getting O.T or the commission payout is WELL worth it. Otherwise, go hire that kid who'll fall for anything and just graduated.. high school.
I'm a clo$er, so come to me when there's real money to be made.
