MyLife unauthorized removal of money from my account

I purchased My Life which finds long lost friend or relatives for $38.00. Then when I checked with my bank, someone was charging me $18.95 per inquiery. This is the first time I ever used my check card over the internet. The bank gave me the number to call this person and the first thing that came out of his mouth was---my lawyer said this is perfectley legal and the hung up. My bank told me he tried to withdraw money from my account 3 times and keeps trying at $18.95 a wack. I cancelled everything--bank account and My life. The person the bank gave to be was adresses as such (phone agent @cs.com) and that's it. My life told me they know nothing about these other transactions and deny any knowledge of knowing any "phone agent @cs.com"

My card was charge by the company fraudently ($84.00). Someone used my credit card information; but they did not have the correct Name and DOB on the subscriber's profile. They committed to refund my money in 7-10 days. Since reading all the blogs, I wonder ifbthis was done by the company itself.. All I can say is "malicious" BEWARE...

MyLife misrepresent fees

The "My Life"Search offer misrepresented the fees. I found the actual fee for "Premium" membership in my junk mail! Instead of the $7.00 they first listed I was billed for $95.00. Also the two people who supposedly were searching for me (and the reason I gave my credit card # which I thought would be billed for seven something) are already on my e-mail list. What can I do?

You probably signed up for the trial period and since you didn't cancel at the end, they charged you a regular subscription rate.
Call them and cancel NOW! complain and they may refund you the $95

MyLife credit card charge scam

Golden rule to remember before giving your credit card number online. Always remember, theres no such thing as free lunch!
Secondly, ask yourself, do you always give your credit card to a total stranger?... Definitely not, theres your answer.
Third, if the site start stating dollars & cents, just delete it, use your common sense, this site is up to no good. Theres always opportunists lurking around the internet.
Lastly, dont be fool... Remember what your mom told you,
Theres no such thing as a free lunch!

MyLife.com formerly known as Reunion.com, is a people search website where you are able to obtain information for someone who you are currently looking to be reunited with. You join the website, select your membership, decide if a 1 month plan works for you, or even a 12 month plan depending on your need. All subscriptions are paid upfront for the full term. All memberships are set to automatically renew unless that feature is turned off before hand. You are able to do this by going to your settings under your My Account, and selecting the off feature or by calling Customer Care. The subscription allows you to conduct unlimited searches in order to obtain a telephone number or address. Public information is obtained thru a third party. If you conduct a search for someone be specific, include an age, a recent location, narrow down your search. If no information for a name is found, an account will generate, until that person who you are currently searching for creates an account. As a paid member, you are also able to conduct messages to reunite with another user. Remember, if you send a message to a name created profile, that other user will not be able to read or reply until a subscription is selected. There are also more features and benefits for being a paid member! MyLife is not a fraudulent company, don't blame the company for your lack of responsibility by not reading the terms and conditions. Affiliations with other companies are selected by you. MyLife has my personal data

I was on facebook and mylife.com popped up. Gave my name and age. Up popped my birthdate and deceased husband name. They asked for my maiden name to sign on. Then they would have all the need to steal my identity. I have never gone to the site. How did they get my birthdate and my ex-husbands name. Anyone with my name and age could get the same info. Very bad

Mylife has posted my data, too. And most of it is wrong. All over sudden I am related and associated with people I do not know. After checking on those people I found out that some of them are criminals. The only thing they got right was my e mail address. I am very careful about the internet and hardly put any personal data out. I do not have public profiles and the same e mail address since the past 18 years. I tried to get this information taken off, but it is a waste of time and energy. This are the dangers of the internet. No wonder people lie constantly. Mylife can go and eff themselves.

Let's be clear about this: MyLife.com got your personal information from a weasel data-mining company. Where did the data mining company get your personal information ? By trolling and buying it. Where did they buy it ? Oh, the credit reporting agencies, anywhere you ever typed in personal information on the web, public records, court records...

Face it - you personal data is now a commodity to be bought and sold - and it is...

The more you type in, the more they get. Strictly warn companied NOT to sell your personal data and CODE your persona info you give them so you know when they sell it ! For instance, add a Jr. or Sr. or III etc to your name, or give your address as it is, then add "Lot # 14325" or "Mailstop 312" etc. Then keep a little Excel list of the unique identifiers you gave, and, like, be totally on top of it and CALL the weasels who sold you out. They'll lie like idiots until you tell them you coded the data you gave them, and can PROVE they sold. The weasels sing a different tune then...

I would see if any of your facebook friends were supplied any info about your info from this group.

Were they showing you a list of people with your same name and info, so you picked which one was your info, or did they show only your info.

MyLife charging more then they stated

so mylife.com sent me an email saying they found an old friend i was looking for. and when i opened the email i clicked on the click here to see more info link and they had a thing on there that said they dropped the price to $9.95 for a year from $119.95. they dont have an i accept the charges or terms and conditions box. what they have written at the very bottom under the payment box in light grey wording is what they actualy charged me.you really dont even realize what it says or notice it tell after you have put in your account info for your atm or credit card. its not fear and its misleading.

I got swindled by these folks just like you. Was told "someone is looking for you"... problem was it is from 4 years ago. Then they take a whole year from my credit card instead of one month as advertised. I am also looking at the fine print on their repost to the Visa card complaint and I am signed up for an automatic renewal at one year. BEWARE! DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!

I think everyone on here is very funny and beyond ignorant! OPEN YOUR EYES AND READ PEOPLE! You talk about this company like they put a gun to your head and made you enter your credit card information to sign up. It is all your choice and you get options to choose from on the subscriptions they offer. I went to MyLife.com last night and before I went I came here to see what people have to say and to tell you the truth the people on here are just plain stupid and have no business talking about this company at all! MyLife.com puts it very clear the terms and the charges. Right where you enter your credit card information it tells you the charge for the term you select and that all accounts are set to renew unless you cancel before the anniversary date. It also states there all charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. All that information is right there before you click the continue button. I don't understand how the heck someone can't see that. No it is not small light grey writing. Sounds like people on here are either blind or need to adjust their computer moniter brightness. I think people on here need to learn to read or stay away from the internet. If you want the service just make sure you read everything. It says $9.95/month not $9.95 for the whole 12 months. People, seriously, open your eyes and read! Don't blame the company for YOUR stupidity!

Our bank told how to dispute the charge and a few days later the back removed the charge pending investigation. When you do that, the company charging you is considered guilty until they prove they didn't or you signed an agreement for it. We've heard no more from mylife and watch our checking account closely.
Now we have another problem with an insect inspection guy. He took $1300 from me (yes I was stupid) we have been going up and down with him because he said he would bring it back but not right now because he spent it. He even called late one night to tell us he'd be by in the morning with a certified check because we've already told him no check.
Wish me luck on that one. I'll keep an eye out to see if mylife comes back to haunt me.

You are not alone guys, here is just another one there went through the same as you. My Bank told me to close my Credit Card, and get a new one, so if it happens again, the Bank will be on their toes. Because I have never authorized them either to re-new anything. Unfortunately money has just been taken out over the last 3 years, without me taking note, and nothing has been sent to me, to say that they had done it, OF COURSE. Now I know why! So yes the information was good, it just came too late maybe, for me to get a refund.

crap this site is no better.
Too much personal info required.
Any way, my bank called us while a bill for $155.40 for the Premium package was pending. NO WAY!
So we stopped payment on the bill. MYLife is #1 when it comes to scamming and phishing! My email accounts (hotmail and yahoo) deleted my accounts because they were both used for bulk email advertising their site. #%@*&$^#! They were important to me.
Hope we can keep them from billing us.

HAH! My Life Reunion scammed me $155.40 straight from my checking account. Our bank called us knowing about this scam catching it in pending. I put a stop on the check to not pay it. Bank is having us come in and file an affidavit against my life or whoever sent the charge it to our account.
This site can't do anything but the bank can!

MyLife scam / fraud

I tried mylife.com's premium trial membership at a reduced cost for about 3mo. They were unable to find some college buddies I was trying to reconnect with so when the trial period was over I decided to delete my profile and account but was unable to (Sept or oct 2009). I tried calling them to have it removed and was told the hold time would be 30 min or more (I wasn't going to wait that long). So I emailed them and asked that my profile be deleted and account closed, but I never heard back from them. Then last week I was going over old bank accounts and saw that some company called "saveace" was taking out $19. 95 every month. Who the hell is saveace? I called my bank and discovered that mylife.com is affiliated with them. I tried calling the number for saveace and got a recording saying this number is no longer in service. I did finally reach saveace via the phone and they claim I signed up for their 7 day free trial through mylife. Really? And since I didn't cancel after the 7 days, that automatically authorized them to remove $19. 95 from my account every month for my membersip. Did I unknowingly click onto something on mylife or how did this happen? Or are they a part of some scam or set up? I never received any confirmation from either mylife or saveace about any such free trial or membership. And I did not authorized mylife to give saveace my personal information, especially my banking info. I never received any welcome package from saveace or a membership number. And after a computer search i've discovered that thousands of people have been a victim of this scam. I think the fbi needs to get involved. Or a story on 60 min. Should be done to alert people. I had to cancel my atm card and file a fraud complaint with my bank.

MyLife complete scam

Wow I wish I would've done more research on MyLife.com before getting suckered. I went for the 1 month plan just to test the site out, to reconnect with old friends. After following the signup process, which started very similar to most others, it simply went to a "thanks for signing up" page. From there I had no login information, no way to expand my account, and also found out that the basic services I was baited with ... were not available unless I upgraded to a premium account. This is absolutely horrible.

The worst part is that I was automatically logged in after signing up. I didn't set any passwords or usernames. It just signed me in to my account where of course, I immediately attempted to cancel the auto-renewal. After following the steps listed on their help site to cancel the auto-renewal, I hit "submit" and the site errors out! It states that it couldn't find my search and that I should reword my search parameters. Unbelievable. Why would their site work perfectly until I needed to cancel my auto-renewal. Please, I urge you ... DO NOT GET SUCKERED INTO MYLIFE.COM.

MyLife charged by affiliated companies

After joining MyLife.com I found it to be useless, very limited information. I canceled my membership! About a month after I canceled 2 unauthorized charges appeared on my debt card. Both for $19.95, one to DLMAX the other to Saveace. In searching these charges I found both mvq-dlmax.com and Saveace.com are affiliated with MyLife.com. I did not provide either of these site my debt card info. I believe they obtain the info from MyLife.com. I was not aware I authorized that info when signing up for MyLife.com. Many Marketing departments form Walmark to online businesses will sell your provided information for a price. it is a common place thing even if you request that it not be done before hand or the company promises to keep your information confident. it is a readily open market for extra money to the delivering company that has low risks for provider exposer. All we can really do as consumers is be very diligent about montering our debt/credit card charges and diligently work to expose and make public by reporting to authorites that moniter or go after fraudulent transactions. Yes some will steal your funds when your not looking or paying attention. Many companies actually get away with unauthorized transactions due to comsumers either not being aware or not remembering details. Many of the shady Cons especially prey on the elderly.

On 3/15/2010, $60.00 was withdrawn from my checking account, unauthorized. I do not remember using this service, but if I did, I know that I cancelled the service. Yet, I was surprised to find that $60 was withdrawn from my account. I am facing early retirement and I do not need any surprises! I want my money refunded or, at the very least, I want to ensure this never happens again!

I WANT REPOSITION OF THE MONEY I WAS RIPPED OFF, I HAD THIS UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE FROM THIS COMPANY THAT ADVERTISES THIS PRODUCT AND DELIVERS SOMETING ELSE . ...THIS PLACE SHOULD BE LABEL AS A SCAM.

I HAD THIS UNAUTHORIZED UNSPECTED CHARGE., I did not asked for any membership of any kind, nor a yearly service of any kind...I do not want any service from this outfith, I only ask once for a one time search that resulted in a fiasco because they have no relevant information at it .Ask for a search that supposedly cost $6.95 and when I did check my bank account a few hours later, they had charged me $83.40, for I do not what kind of service.

IT IS A REAL RIP OFF TO CHARGE $83.40 FOR A SERVICE THAT WAS POSTED AT $6.95. AND WANT THIS MONEY TO BE REFUNDED INMEDIATELLY. WHAT GIVES THE RIGHT TO DO SUCH? I DID NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO PURCHASE SUCH AND NOW i HAVE A $35.00 FEE FROM THE BANK FOR OVERDRAFT... WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT?

MyLife charging renewal fees without consumer's authorization!

I received an email from mylife.com (a website I had not visited before) saying that I had been charged $48 for another year of membership. I got all confused. I googled it and found out that it had something to do with reunion.com. I remember I did have an account with reunion.com so I typed in reunion.com. A second later it redirected me to mylife.com. Apparently mylife.com took over reunion.com's accounts. In my account information, it showed that I was charged $48. I couldn't find a link to request for a refund. I think I will dispute that transaction. $48 is my one week's food cost!

I WAS JUST CHECKING OUT IF SOMEONE I WAS LOOKING FOR I WOULD FIND ON MYLIFE.COM, TURNS OUT IN ORDER TO DO THAT I WROTE BASIC INFORMATION SUCH AS NAME AND CITY AND AGE, BUT THEN I CHANGED MY MIND BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT MY INFO IN THE WEB. I ASKED MYLIFE.COM BY E-MAIL TO THEY CANCEL MY PROFILE, I ALSO CALLED THEN AND I WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT CANCEL THAT PROFILE FOR SEVERAL BUSINESS DAYS, I WAS CLEAR TO THE ASSOCIATE THAT I DID NOT WANT MY PROFILE THERE ANYMORE BUT THEY DID NOT RESPECT MY WISH, THEY GO AGAINST PEOPLE'S WILL. HOW CAN I SUGEST SOME FRIEND TO TRY MYLIFE.COM? AS THEY DID SOMETHING THAT I TOLD THEM IN A CLEAR WAY THAT I DID NOT WANT THEY COULD CHARGE FEES THAT ARE NOT RIGHT, WHO KNOWS, HOW CAN PEOPLE TRUST A COMPANY WHO DOES NOT DO WHAT A POSSIBLE CUSTOMER WANTS?

report them to consumer affairs, and the AG of your state. The claim they are innocent and that most of their customers have been charged without authorizing the charges. Also mylife.com uses intentionally misleading information to get customers, to sign up for a intentionally deceptive contract, and when the big charge is applied they keep their fingers crossed and hope nobody notices that they just stole from you. BTW has anyone ever been satisfied by the services that my life provides. FACEBOOK is free.

I too recieved the very same email, only i was charged $60. After that, I checked my bank accnt and sure enough, those shystee mofos had already drafted the money. I hauled [censor] to my bank, good thing it's only 4 blocks away, I told the banker my situation and she had me sign dispute forms and issued me a new bank card. This is something I strongly recommend.

MyLife ripoff

Signed up for their people search for a supposed $1.99. When I got the confirmation screen I found out they were billing my credit card $23.88. I tried to delete my account within minutes of signing up and ended up having to call their "customer care" number. Then I was told the amount was for a full year and there was NO REFUNDS. After checking back at the site I still couldn't read the small print at the bottom of the screen. Sent them an email complaint and their response was " Thank you for contacting MyLife.com. Our records indicate that the concerns expressed in your email were already addressed by a Representative with our Customer Care team. " Great job of scamming people out of their money. The site doesn't even do what I need. I wanted a phone numer for a person and the site directed me to another site to sign up for another subscription! DON'T USE THIS SITE!

Apparently there was some check box or something that I overlooked when I signed up for MyLife.com (formerly Reunion.com) that allows their “affliliates” to have access to your credit / debit information.

I got an email from Savingsace.com that said the were going to start debiting my bank account. After spending time on the phone with MyLife (who had an “Oh well you must have authorized it attitude) and doing research I have located a toll-free [protected] at Savingsace.com to cancel your membership.

At first they ask for your membership number, telephone number, and creditcard number followed by the # sign. (YEAH RIGHT…I sure wasn’t about to give them my phone number and credit card number again)

I only entered the membership number and then the # sign. It took me to a menu to cancel. It said to hit a number to cancel and seemed to accept it.

I also have been emailing the reunion.com / mylife.com people to complain about their association with this company. I can’t believe that ultimately the revenue they might be getting for referrals is worth this bad press.

False advertising. The tv ad says find out who is looking for you for free. Then when you try they charge you. I did not pay and just saw that it was someone in La, and I dont know anyone there. As far as looking up people this site couldnt find their own hand in their pocket. Stay away from them.

I tried to use a $1.00 ad on Mylife to find a person. I gave the first name, middle initial and last name and age. They showed five With first and last name no age and all wrong. That was fine. Under 'PhoneAgents', they charged that $1.00. Then a week later they charged $18.95 while I was gone. No w they have charged another $18.95. Mylife sent me this message "Your message has been received by our system. The ticket code for this enquiry is LTK151039522058X". Nothing more. Scam?

MyLife scam

When this site was Reunion.com, you could actually find people that you had lost contact with. Sixty bucks is pretty steep for most people for a yearly subscription to something you rarely need, but when you could find old friends, it was worth it. Now, you are allowed only one free lookup a month; after that you pay again. Not to mention that you can't find anyone on here, anyway. Not anymore. Maybe it was the privacy suits, maybe it was the change in ownership, but it is not worth a plug nickel and they will NOT refund your money. They even sent an email telling me that someone was looking for me, but wouldn't tell me who unless I signed up again. So stupid me, I signed up again. there wasn't anyone looking for me and shortly thereafter, the site switched over to the new format. Stay away from this one. you can get just as much information from any search engine, and yahoo! is free.

MyLife scam networking site

These guys are not a true networking site. They send out phishing emails to get information, hack into address books to make it appear that someone you know is looking for you when they're not and buy up mailing lists including those from the credit card companies and marketing companies. They are not a legitimate networking site. Steer clear of these people. They also try to make a connection to who you are related to violating privacy and protection. Consumers ought to be afraid of companies like this. With online scams and violent people in this world someone may come calling you or knocking at your door that has no business looking for you as a result of a website like www.mylife.com. Mylife.com through a Federal order should be shut down.

am an attorney researching the business practices of WWW.REUNION.COM and WWW.MYLIFE.COM . I am interested in their practices as it relates to the unauthorized SCRAPING OF EMAIL ADDRESS BOOKS.

Pending my review, consideration of legal action shall be evaluated. I located your complaint from a google search of all those complaining about reunion.com and my life.com . Any information you may provide would be helpful so as for me to understand the issues, but response should not be considered as developing an attorney-client relationship. I merely need to obtain information.

Here's a few questions:

1) were you enticed to visit reunion.com after an email came to you, appearing like it was from a friend, inviting you to join reunion.com?

2) do you feel the terms of service and privacy policy noted on the site explained what exactly reunion.com was going to do to your email address book?

3) Were your email address contacts emailed an invitation to join reunion.com after receiving an invitation which claimed you sent them the invite?

4) how has your involvement damaged your reputation or any finacial losses?
So as to support my interest and qualify my identity, I would refer you to a few of my recent cases I filed, so that you can confirm that I do represent individuals in internet privacy matters. Google my recent cases:

lane v facebook,
valentine v nebuad
simon v adzilla

Once you locate these cases, review the atorneys noted, and then confirm I have the same email as the attorney noted on the lawsuit:

"Attorney Joseph H Malley

Please feel free to contact me in confidence to discuss any issues. As noted at this point I am merely researching and discussing complaints to determine if there is any allegations of merit.
Thanks

MyLife scam & privacy violation

I was searching around and came across this website and I noticed they had information on my 15 year old daughter posted. I promptly called them but I know how this information sellings sites work so I *67 before so they wouldnt get my cellphone number.
I spoke to a guy there and explained that they had information on my child and that I wanted it removed right away, the guy was helpful said he would get it done immediately.. And I thought that we were all finished, about 5 hours later after I called them I noticed 2 missed calls from a friend puzzled why she hadnt left a message (she always does) I called her back thinking something was wrong and that was when she said someone HIJACKED my phone, obviously I thought she was kidding until she told me that when she called that she heard my ring back and then when it would normally go to voice mail that it directed it off to mylife.com's phone service.. Well not completly convinced I called it myself and she was right.. I was shocked, I had my husband call my cell and it did the same thing it would do about 30 seconds of my ring back and then off to their answering system where you could here the information of Mylife.com and ask if you were a member and try to inlist you to sign up... I was completely in shock.. MY husband spoke to a representative there and asked how it was that they were interupting my cell phone calls and they insisted that they donot conduct business like that, my husband asked them to stop it and they got rude and hung up on him.. Confused and quite upset he called Verizon and spoke to them there who verified that it was infact going over to the mylife.com answering system he even called and verified it him self, they checked to make sure I hadnt accidently forwarded it off and to even his confusion it didnot show that I had accidently done anything after getting a supervisior and tech support involved they were able to unlink my phone so it was no longer going over to mylife.com's answering system.. But how scary is this that companies can do that and try to be sneaky and direct all of YOUR incoming calls directly to them in order to sell a product.
Let this being a warning to anyone wishing to call this company that trying to block your number doesnt work be smart and use a payphone...

Over the past year I have received several weird telephone calls and it was a recorded message looking for someone, if I had any information call this number, yada, yada. Wasn't me, never heard of the person, didn't call them back. Then I got the call again, again recorded but this time I called the number. Apparently they are bill collectors looking for this specific person. Strange, but again, I told them not me, never heard of her, lived at this address 23 years, please remove my telephone # from their inquiry list. SO that being said, I have never GOOGLED myself before but did so yesterday and low and behold MYLIFE is showing MY personal information, my husband, his parents as connected to me, AND then showing SIX alias that I supposedly am "known as" with this (person inquired of above) last name as mine and HER relative as my relative, where THEY live! I emailed them and said no way was this person ME, I have never been "KNOWN AS", not related, don't know, don't want my profile shown with incorrect information. I asked them to remove any links from this person and to also not show my name with aliases that I have never LEGALLY used! They tried that same crap with me, I'm supposed to give them ALL of MY personal information, send them notarized documents, I am supposed to give them money and click the AGREEMENT box and join their stupid site TO FIX INCORRECT INFORMATION? Nope, didn't just fall of the turnip tree! SOOO, this site can gather incorrect information and plaster it all over the Internet, then bill collectors can start hassling me for debts that are not mine? I would join a class action suit in a heart beat! CALL ME!

I did not know about MyLife.com or reunion.. I'm always careful about my information leaking in internet. I have set everything in private setting that's online.. but when I typed my name on Goodgle search.. OMG... this MyLife.com thing pops out!
name, age, people who might be my family(well, there were many people I never heard of), places I lived in! and all the info was available for free! geez! so I googled mylife.com invasion of privacy. I saw a link for phone # to call and have them remove my name..
so I called [protected] to remove my info and the lady I talked to was nice but I was already pissed. she asked for my name, age, place I live. well, they didn't have my current information so I gave her whatever was on their site. and she transfer me to other person. i had to give her my info all over again and she asked me addresses of the address I lived in. SURE~~ I'll give u my address~ I just told her some street names. and she said okay. she said it'll take about 7 to 10 business days to remove my info. WTF I told her(even though it's not her doing..I was pissed..) it's invasion of my privacy! and she said, "yeah. I know...but we have ways to get people's informations for others who's looking for people.." whatever.. I asked her again to make sure my info is off their site. she said yes...

and then i came across this site... damn.. i should've read this too before calling...

after reading what happened to 'upset in Oregon'... i was like..no way... and I called my cell phone from my home phone...
F**K! it doesn't go to MyLife.com's # but it goes to some fax machine... I tried calling from my phone and first, it didn't even let me make out going called... but after trying 5 times, phone got through. but still no incoming calls... I called my friends to try calling my phone and my phone doesn't even ring! my friends texts me through sns n tells me it makes weird noise!
I was freaking out and about to call them again and was looking for place to report them or something THEN, about 50 mins after I got off the phone with them to remove my info, a call came through... geez... all the stress i got...

ISN'T THERE SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO SHUT THIS SITE DOWN?
HOW IS THIS LEAGAL?
I mean just name & city.. then, I'll understand... but pictures, age, families, address... without any consent!

It is a gross invasion of privacy. We the people need to demand government action to stop companies like this NOW! Speak out NOW and be heard. Flood the BBB with complaints and contact Congress. If the people do not take a stand now the issue of companies solely in the business of hacking your personal data and selling it will only get worse because in time they will be able to get more and more information about you and sell it WITHOUT your knowledge or consent.

This morning after seeing one of their Television commercials, out of infinite curiosity I decided to enter my name into their initial lookup (although I did nothing beyond the initial lookup.)

I was floored seeing the amount of info they had on me, just on the free (censored area)!

1: The street address was censored, but the first three digits of my phone number was the same digits of my phone number!

2: Even worse, somehow they knew the identity of my Mother!

I view their gathering of my personal information w/o my consent for their potential financial gain as a gross invasion of privacy. I think this could be worthy of a Class-Action Lawsuit.
