My phone and another customer's were stolen in the store
I went to Mr Price Newtown Junction to return my online order(Order no:**********27).It was past 5 to 6 in the aftrer work.I passed by Mc donalds to fetch order and i asked the manager Joyce how long will it take to prepare my ice cream because i wanted to go to Mr Price before they close.She said 7 minutes and i checked my phone nd it was just before 5:30. I took my phone and put it in my pocket and left for Mr Price.
I gave the security my parcel and went around the store to look for the items i wanted to return.I went to the till and exchnged and when i wanted to check if the dresses i bought were on sale or not so that they can get the actual amount that i had to be credited that is when i noticed that my phone was missing.I went around the store where i had been and didnt find my phone.I went back to the cashiers and asked the ladies what can i do because i know that when i came in the store i had my phone, while i was still panicking and looking for my ohone around the tills another lady came in and said her phone is also missing and she is sure that it was stolen in the store.
The manager of the store was so dismissive and didnt want to entertain us, she just said our phones were not there.We went out of the store to go to the police station but then turned back to get the details of the manager and to confirm with he tht there is noting she could do then because chances are if the phone was taken by one of her staff we wont get it because the store was closing.
The manager told us that we were not the first people to lose items in the store nd that they are not responsible.She said and i qoute that "we enter Mr Price at our own risk".
We asked her to check the cameras and she said they dont have them and that majority of their stores do not have cameras.She also said their own stuff get stolen and they have no way of recovering them as the store doesnt have cameras.
She said they are just employyees and not owners.
She called the area manager who also said that we enter their sote at our own risk.i asked her to if that it the case there should be a notice on the wall warning us of it so that one is aware that should anything happen to the customers they will not be responsible.
We left and went to the police station and were advised by the police to block the phones with our servoce providers and get 2 reference numbers that we will be able to open the case with.
i will never ever shop at Mr Price ever again because they clearly dont care about their customers.
Desired outcome: To see the actual footage and see who stole my phome.
Poor customer service at Mr Price Clothing Clearwater Mall Johannesburg
On Wednesday the 25th of August 2021, I went into Mr Price Clothing store in Clearwater mall, Johannesburg with the intention of buying a Cell Phone.
There was absolutely none at this department, I then asked one of the cashiers if anybody could assist me since I had been waiting for long.
To my surprise I was told the person in charge of that Department had gone out for lunch and they didn't know what time she would be back so I had to wait indefinitely.
I asked for the Store Manager by the name of Boitumelo and I explained my situation.
She acknowledged that there was none at that department, the person had gone out for lunch, but she was supposed to have left the keys with one of the managers.
I was in the store for close to and hour, and this annoyed me.
A gentleman later followed her to where ever she was and later brought back the keys but I told myself with such service I would rather buy my phone from another shop of which I went to Game.
To be honest, I don't think this is proper because why should the customer be inconvenienced like this.
I shop at Mr Price because I am happy with the quality of goods, but this sort of service is appalling.
I would expect this sort of service at smaller shops like Pep who probably have a lower customer base and certainly not at Mr Price.
I asked for the Head Office details from the Store Manager, but she never gave these to me.

Service offered in store
I was offered a r100 voucher by sheet street which is in the same group as mr price. I was advised on the sms that I could use it at any of your stores. I went to your mr price home store in william moffat port elizabeth on monday 23 august only to be advised that the voucher did not work. I returned today 24th august and the same thing happened. The staff tried to phone the help desk to get it sorted but no staff were available. I then got asked by a rude staff member why did I leave it till today as the voucher was going to expire today. It is not my fault that your system is not working correctly and I have to lose out on the voucher. I then asked to see the manager of the store and she also had the same attitude so I then asked are you telling me, to take advantage of this voucher I must come during working hours
Desired outcome: The voucher to be extended and sorted out on your computer system. Why offer these vouchers if they don’t work

I bought a glittery mug from Mr Price in Springmall.
On day 1 of using the mug I pick up it was broken.
I must have taken the only broken one on the the shelf.
I lost the slip of the purchase.
Can I please ask for an email slip so I can return the mug.
I have never had a problem with any other product that I have bought at Mr Price. I understand it can happen to anyone.
Desired outcome: And Emailed slip in order to return the broken mug.
Mobile contract - incorrect monthly fees, debit order cancelled
I had a two year contract with no problems. I accepted an early upgrade in April 2021 and received the new device before the end of April. My first contract expired at the end of May. When the new contract kicked in on 1 June is when my woes started. As per the new contract, R50 airtime and 1gig data was supposed to be loaded on the first of the month. This did not happen until I phoned the call centre and complained. At the end of June my debit order did not go off my bank account. I phoned the call centre, and was advised to make a manual payment. They sent me an sms with the payment amount and I made immediate payment. On the 1st of July, no data was loaded, and I had to request the call centre to load the data as per my contract. At the end of July, the debit order was not in place and once again I had to make a manual payment, after the amount due was sent to me by SMS (after I had to call the call centre more than once). By this time I have made several phone calls to determine why the debit order was not in place and why my monthly payments are more than the contract amount of R299. I could receive no satisfactory answer to date. Last week Friday my services was suspended. It was done just after 5pm, and I was without my phone service until this morning. I lost business, as I am dependent on my phone and for clients to reach me. I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone this morning, trying to determine what the reason for the problems on my current contract is. Apparently I am not allowed to load airtime myself, as this opens the line and causes (for some mysterious reason beyond my capabilities to understand) extra charges on my account. This was never explained to me when I upgraded. I understood that I could purchase airtime and load it once my airtime had run out, but data needs to be purchased through the call centre, as my previous contract worked this way. I was not told that the terms had changed, and even though I made numerous phone calls to the call centre, nobody could assist me to rectify the problems. I was told this morning that the debit order was cancelled by my bank and that I should take it up with them. I am on my way to Capitec to determine whether this is in fact so. I am hugely disappointed with Mr Price Mobile and am very sorry that I did not terminate my relationship when my first contract expired. I will suffer the remaining 16 months out until the end of my current contract, but will definitely not continue my relationship with this company. It is poorly run, the staff are poorly trained, incompetent and unsympathetic, I have not received a reply to any of the 3 emails I sent to the support email address. I am willing to return the device I received and to cancel the contract and cut ties with this company, but I am not prepared to pay any cancellation fees. The arrogance of this company is unbelievable.

i bought online order [protected] and requested a refund as I already re-ordered. This happened on the 13th July 2021 as I phoned every day and was requested to send my bank details through for a refund. this was confirmed and received on the 30th July 2021.

Poor Service Delivery
On the 09th of July 2021, I placed and paid for an order with Mr Price. This was done online. I received an email to say that my order has been received and will be shipped for delivery and will arrive at the store I selected within 7 days (That being the 16th of July 2021) From Monday the 23rd of July I have being querying the status of my order but not 1 person is able to help. I keep getting the same response IE : The order is with the courier and will be delivered soon. We have escalated your order and it will be delivered soon. This is unacceptable as NOT ONE PERSON CAN TELL ME WHY IT HAS NOT YET BEEN DELIVERED OR WHEN IN FACT IT WILL BE. One person told me it would be delivered on Monday 30th July. Another person told me it would be delivered by Friday 06th August. I am starting to lose my patience because of the fact the order was paid for in full!

Am in the same boat with you I brought a chest of drawer at the store online on the 14th July till this day it has not been delivered!
I've been calling going to the store with no luck! I am so disappointed with the poor service I'm receiving from Mr Price I paid the full amount with R500 Delivery fee.
Payment on my account not acknowledged
I have paid my Mr Price account in June 26th 2021 using my Capitec account. I have been getting emails from ACS and Mr Price legal, saying I have not paid even when I have sent proof countless times to the emails provided to me.
To this day I am told legal action will be taken, which already is because I am not able to make any loan due to "account not being paid". I requested Capitec to email proof of payment straight to ACS which was done. I do not know what else to do now.
I have been communicating to [protected]@acscredit.co.za and [protected]@mrpricemoney.com who requested proof of payment and although I send it, they still say it is not received.

I have a concern why in this modern day life the sale person are not allowed to work with there cell phones on the floor
I have a girlfriend who works for mrp she has 8months old baby which she lives at home with an old lady, if something is to happen to my child or me how will the instant information get to her, I would like to challenge this rule your using is oppressing to workers, the mrp group should look into this rule, people miss opportunities of their life time because of phone being in the lockers while they busy making money for you
Phone will also help capture shop lifter on clips if they are found stealing, it can also help if the store is another attack to alert near by people, the are a lot of things that can help improve, ways of doing things

I ordered two items and only one was delivered but now I'm struggling for a month to get my refund back from Mr. Price Group.
I emailed, called, and still no response. They ignoring my emails and if I call their customer care they tell me different stories every single time.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK. THIS IS AGAINST THE NCA.

Good day every month I make payment every month I will visit a Mr price home, Mr sport or a Mr price and ask the cashier what's my installment the amount the give me I pay... Now I receive a call to tel me 1 I paid R25 short last month oh my gosh really thats alot... Then she wants to know when am I paying the R450 for this month oh my gosh it's only the 14 July it's not month end don't phone me for kak.
I pay my installment at the end of the month and also I have covid so when am well again I will go make payment dont phone me for [censored] you get your money every month.

I was at Mr Price Tygervalley on Saturday 10 July. We waited in the queue for almost ten minutes. Behind us were a
twelve people. Only one person was working at the cash register, but there were no less than seven employees standing behind the counter. When I asked the manager (I believe his name is Derrick) what was going on he very rudely starting talking at me making nonsense excuses. This is the second time this has happened at the same branch. I am highly disappointed, as I am a big supporter of Mr Price. The behavior of the manager was highly unprofessional and extremely rude. There were people behind us who actually put down the clothes they wanted to purchase and left. I can't even give a one star rating. Zero stars. Mr Price Tygervalley gets zero stars. Customer service is everything. I am posting this review on as many platforms as I can.
Desired outcome: Better customer service training for managers and employees.
Missing part
I ordered two Retro Cruz Office chairs from MRP Home (order number [protected]). They were delivered today in an open vehicle and poorly packaged. The boxes were not properly sealed.
The Black Retro Cruz Office chair is missing the base that screws into the seat of the chair (labelled part B on the instructions). I have circled this on the instructions.
Either the part was not included in the packaging at the warehouse or between the shoddy packaging and your courier company this part has been lost.
I require urgent delivery of either: the replacement base (part B) or a new chair. This was bought as a gift for my son. I am disappointed that I was charged R450 for delivery of an incomplete item.
I contacted them via email and social media platforms last week and have heard nothing.
Desired outcome: Replacement part or replacement chair to be delivered!
Paid 2 years for a phone but never got a working number.

I entered into a contract for a mobile phone after being contacted by a phone marketing agent of Mr Price Mobile in August 2019.
The phone was delivered to my home address with a sym card with my husbands business number on.
My husband, however, could not use his MTN phone because his number was ported to Mr Price Mobile.
He struggled for 2 weeks to get his number back and operational.
When my husband had his number back to MTN, I had no number. That is where my frustration started.
The money was monthly deducted from my account but I could not get any satisfaction from Mr Price in Bethal. They even had me drive through to Mr Price in Secunda, but to no avail.
My husband went to Mr Price in Bethal on many occasions, trying to resolve the matter on my behalf, but still without any success.
On 27 January 2021 I wrote a letter to Mr Price Mobile, notifying them that I will stop all payments until Mr Price Mobile complies to their side of the contract by giving me a working phone AND sym card with the data and air time I paid for. I stopped the debit order at ABSA Bank.
I got many phone calls from rude telephone operators who threatened me if I do not pay my Mr Price Mobile account. They would not listen to me, all they insisted on was that I pay the bill.
I March 2021 my husband phone the Pr Price Customer service line and got hold of the name and e-mail address of the operator. He sent her a mail explaining the situation, requesting her to rectify the situation.
He never got a reply from her.
In April 2021 Mr Price Mobile deducted 4 months payment from my account. In June 2021 I paid the account in full, after having threats from Mr Price phone agents that they will black list me.
On 8 July 2021 I applied for a loan at a commercial bank and was informed that I do not qualify for the loan due to a bad payment history. On further inquiry, it a came to light that it is because of the Mr Price Mobile fiasco.

Please kindly note that I paid my account via cellphone and in Jan when the money did not reflect I complained and everyone at mrp told me it was a systems error.
I paid my account and this scam that mrp is running is unacceptable. My account has not yet been credited from January! So please have someone contact me immediately!

Bad customer service
Shocking what kind of customer service one receives from your contact centre. I called this morning to check if an item was available and at which store. I kept being transferred from pillar to post. Ended up driving to umlazi mnyandu mall where I was told it's available only to arrive there and they don't have the item. I then drove back home and called your contact centre again spoke to a very rude agent called Sindiswa who point blank refused me to speak to a manager after she was unable to assist me. She then put me on hold for over 7 mins which is total call avoidance. I still have not received any assistance up until now

To whom it may concern,
I am quite appalled by your recent online service and cannot begin to understand why your agent would request proof of payment for a situation where I do not have one, which is my problem.
I went online on the 29/06/2021 to purchase some items using my Mr P money account.
When checking out, I received an error stating my order cannot be processed;however, my credit was taken.
I have tried to contact you via WhatsApp and phone on the day;however, with no success.
I finally reached you on the 30/06/2021, spoke to a lady name Zama from your customer services who did not help at all as she advised that she's emailing me to attach proof of payment, so please tell me for the life of me where I should get this when you sent an SMS with no order number, my statement shows nothing, the 'my orders' tab shows nothing, so would you like me to log into your systems to see this when my profile shows nothing?
Can't your staff troubleshoot? I feel like they've been trained to say the same thing over and over and one gets no joy but irritation!
Please revert or I will escalate this further as I see a lot of people having the same complaints and no response from you!
P. S tell Zama I still have not received this irrelevant form!
