Two days ago So i was about to shut down my pc when I got a fire fox browser update and i decided to let it update and as it was about to finish my video card stopped working and it got fried. I am assuming this happen because to its hardware acceleration thing you wanted to enable. But cost me my graphic card . It was a cheap one but still i am now with one and cant play any games on my pc.
Why did u guys have force this.
i want repairs or a new card.

Started about 11/20/2019 give or take a day or two.

Ever since Win 10 made its latest update to 1903 ( I delayed it on win 10 pro), Firefox is SLOOOOOOOOOOW. So slow its almost unusable.

Actually, I'm not sure if its a win 10 update or an update to Firefox 70.0.1.0.

I have over 600 tabs so I have been deleting tabs to no effect.

I also stopped all extensions and went into safe mode - to no effect.

I have been using Firefox on two generations each of a desktop and a laptop with great satisfaction and convinced my three daughters to use it as well.

However, when I tried to start up on my desktop yesterday I was greeted with the message COULDN'T LOAD XPCOM. I retried a number of times, and discovered that when I clicked on a link in various emails I received I got the same message.

My laptop is strill working as usual with Firefox.

If I cannot upload XPCOM should I uninstall Firefix and re-download it? I fear that by doing that I will lose all my bookmarks. Is that so?

I'd be grateful for advice soon.

Netflix wont run and tells me to use another browser. Comcast can't load chrome. I cant load chrome and it will not load from Firefox? what to do I am very un happy. please contact me at [protected]@comcast.com. Ifi cant load chrome and watch Netflix I stop using you please advise I really want to watch Netflix. Has this company been sold because it not user friendly right now and its very disappointing

I am on a Mac and the browser just updated itself and now I have lost all my bookmarks collected over many year. Obviously I'm panicking. I have tried to follow directions but nothing is happening. Please give a step to step guide. I have a backup on another drive. Really unhappy. I tried to reinstall my old browser and it was ok last night. Today when I started it up it had reverted to the new browser DESPITE the fact i instructed it not to do automatic updates.

I looked at this site as it claimed to deliver all favorite movies & games for free on minimum fees. I started filling out some of my bank details but then just had a feeling that it wasn't a legitimate site so didn't consent or submit anything just got out of that internet page.
Just this morning I checked my bank app & Papgamez has debited $72 out of my account. I went to the bank immediately. They couldn't help & said if I filled even the slightest details that the onus of fault was mine! And to try to call or email. What part of fraudulent scam did they not understand? There is no email or phone number I can call. Even if there was it will only alert the scanners I am on to them. They would wipe my bank account clean. I have taken all my money out of the account. I will also closing the whole account down.
Just so frustrating as the culprits won't be held accountable. And it's the money loss plus the inconvenience of changing all the details linked to that bank account. As in other household bills that are debited from that account.

When posting news articles to social media, I have an open tab for minds. com. Almost every day, when I have copied the web address of an article, and click on the media tab to post, suddenly the page jumps, and I now have two pages open. One with a single tab, which I just clicked on, and the original page with multiple tabs. This started with 66.

This complaint is for Mozilla Firefox's Addon: The User Switcher.

There is a fake one that duplicates the authentic User Switcher: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher-revived/.

The REAL one is this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/uaswitcher/

The fake one uses a different icon, and the platform uses icons instead of the text lists that are found in the authentic User Switcher.

Please look into this.

I recently was forced to update Firefox, after it was done it completely wiped out everything i have saved on search engines and web sites. My computer has become unstable and will require a reload to fix the problem! My computer is cycling between a black screen and returning back to Firefox at least 10 times per minute! Do you test your updates! Do you have a QA department? Your update f___ up my computer! IDIOTS!

You cannot clear out the Web Data that lists every Web site that you went to separately. Make that possible again and fix your Java. Please, hire some better people. You tap the red minus area and the entry will not delete. You have to fix that because even trying to force mobile browsing app tracking should be not allowed. That's crazy. That is the only way to get rid of cookies using that app on your phone. Just take care of it.

Why does firefox use trackers on there clients? they profess to be a neutral non tracking non data mining company yet using their program tracks your usage and location worse than or as bad as any other internet browser. They are liars they use some of the nastiest most dangerous trackers available to track their clients on the net. I have tested firefox trackers with 6 different spy/ malware programs and everyone has found nasty trackers used by firefox/ mozilla. They use a geo tracker which comes up as extremely dangerous by all 6 spy/ malware programs I have used.
Please be aware this company lies to it clients.

I was working on schoolwork that does not automatically save and your terrible service crashed out of nowhere. It did not save anything. I restarted on the far superior google chrome, where I had no problems whatsoever. I uninstalled your terrible application and now I will be using chrome permanently. I would say fix it, but hey, google is going to buy you out in a few years anyways so whats the point.

Just yesterday, while I was getting ready to look up something pertaining to my writing, I saw a certain disturbing "story", which was a Pocket Recommendation. It mentioned one male cousin who was brutalized by another. And since I found the article highly-disturbing, I find myself offended enough to complain to your company about it. I seriously did not need to see something so disturbing in the form of a so-called 'recommendation'. It doesn't matter how lengthy or 'wordy' it is as an "article". What matters is the content of such articles. If you're going to continue to be a reliable browser, then you need to show and/or tell people how to opt out of this content BEFORE they stumble upon something which may rattle their emotions.

Mozilla is now bumping Dissenter extensions of of Firefox. Don't bother using Firefox, since their browser works badly, plus doesn't support free speech. Might as well use Chrome or Safari, since they work better, and since all browsers are now run by SJW sociopaths.

Would someone out there please develop a free-speech-oriented browser? I would really appreciate that.

Initially, all of my addons and web extensions were deemed unsafe and were removed from Firefox, even after using these addons for more than 8 months, then when I tried reinstalling those addons, the message "Download failed, check your connection" will pop up. I have tried it for numerous addons and themes, including the ones that were preciously downloaded, but nothing worked.
Fix this problem because it is annoying having to go on without the browser extensions that I have been using for a long time now, and I'm sure other people are having the same problem with their browser!
Please do something about this!

First FF barred Dissenter from their platform forcing people to install it from elsewhere.
Next, after 15 tears of treating us as adults with "I understand the risks but wish to proceed" FF make it impossible to install unapproved addons
Worse they actively deceive by claiming that the Dissenter xpi is 'corrupted'.
Are we expected to believe this is all 'for security'? If so what happend to the last 15 years?
Happily, as ever, the internet provides a solution to censorship - Gab are creating their own dissenter-friendly browser based on Brave... itself made by ex FF staff.

Suddenly, firefox has rejected all of my addons. I tried to replace my DuckDuckgo but it failed. But if you release an update sure some applications may no longer be compliant but it should not be ALL of them. Mozilla seems to be getting more klunky. After a previous update I could no longer apply beautiful themes just flat simple boring themes but that was acceptable, although not desirable. Furthermore, the select category list is completely inappropriate for the nature of the provider of the service to which this issue belongs. I doubt that this information would even come to the attention of those whom it concerns.

I was shocked to see this morning, that all my add-ons are not supported! Most of them do not have similar replacements to offer. All add-ons were important, for example add-on for token signing into online services, using ID-card, or Kaspersky web security app, also adblocker, which is necessary in my work - NOT to see ads and be protected online.

Sorry, but minutes after finding out about this issue, Mozilla Firefox was UNINSTALLED from my PC. Going back to Google Chrome, as they do not have this issue!
Very unhappy with this feature. I believe you will loose plenty of users in the next days due to the same issue!
