As I delve into the world of MovieStarPlanet, I find a mix of opinions that paint a complex picture. MSP is a great website, however I think that there are ways to make it even better, for example maybe we could introduce some new games such as a 'match making game' where it asks you a series of questions to match you to another user. I think that this will be very successful and introduce more member because everyone is OBSESSED with dating on MSP. Another problem with MSP is that its very hard to gain money, I know that this was intentional to create more VIP users but for me to get at least 600 coins to buy one item it takes about a week! Maybe you could create some events or challenges with Pixie Star to gain money - just an idea. Lastly, when I go on the dress up game and if you happen to wear a hat or an accessory, the game wont let you take it off so if you are dressing as a 'fairy' for example and you are wearing a beanie its very unlikely that you're going to win as the best dressed person. Anyway sorry for this long essay about MSP but I hope you can agree or use some of my idea to make MSP better than it already is.

It doesn't ask for much information when you first create your account, so you need to be extremely careful with your password because if you forget it, it's pretty much lost forever unless you want to waste your valuable time with the HORRIBLE process to redeem it. My friend went through this struggle and I don't recommend it to anyone. I always keep my password safe and secret.
As well if u buy vip, HAVE COMMON SENSE.
Be extra careful with vip on how you act on the game because a report or flag on your aco$#*! could mean the removal of your account and no refund of your vip purchase. For example, don't swear around the filter or act inappropriately. It is a free online game open to all, so playing it you are accepting the potential that you will run into creeps and trust me, this game has its weirdos.
Don't let that deter you from the game though. It's fun if you don't take it too seriously and there's a lot of excitement to be had equally and without membership from meeting people to fun customization options.
What I opted to do is purchase a 1 week membership and buy all the vip things I wanted. Once my vip ended, I kept it that way. There are many ways to earn starcoins (the primary currency) aside from purchasing vip so don't fall for that money grab when you can just have a little more patience and save your money.

If you are between the ages of 6-12, I recommend you let you parents know you are playing it. It is for your safety.
If you are between the ages of 13-17, don't reveal your personal info! I know the urge is there, but no good can come from sharing your social media or contact info with strangers!
If you are 18+, you better be a parent or MSP staff member because it's against the guidelines to play this and be an adult otherwise! This game is made for children!

Otherwise, keeping your age a secret is probably the best option overall.

Firstly, I see everyone in the comments talking about MSP STEALING money. Are you serious people? When you buy vip, whatever amount you pay, there is a square that says: ? reccuring payment ?. You have the right to uncheck the square. You honestly have to pay attention. Secondly, I see some people talking about how MSP is unsafe because their child has get hacked. If your password is ? lol123 ? ? abc123 ? ? pooplol123 ? or something like that, that doesn't surprise me that you or your child got hacked. Use a safe password that you will remember and DON'T tell it to anyone. MSP has written about this ALL over the game. There's even a message in the first page that prevent your child from getting hacked. MSP is a safe game, and it is not their problem if your child if your child is still not mature to have a safe password and not to share it to anyone. Oh and ? hackers ?, 95% of the time these people are trolls. They just want to scare you. And even, EVEN if they were real hackers, they wouldn't spend their time on a KIDS game. Thirdly, people say the game is ? inappropriate ?. Ridiculous. Sure before the game was a little more for teens because they were some animations, clothes ect that were for more mature people. But those were quickly removed from the game because another compagny buyed it. Sure, there is still some clothes that are a bit revealing. But not only 7-10 years old play this game, teens too! MSP is trying to please EVERYONE. They did like 5 unicorns theme just because it was requested from younger people. And finally, the chat. Yes, you can write some X' between the letters so that you can say bad words. But MSP is, and Im repeating it, a VERY safe game. They're doing everything they possibly can to have those words removed and banned from the chat. Yes. They are some people that are malicious and trying to ? corrupt ? childrens, but If your child is pretty mature, they will click the report and block button and MovieStarPlanet will banned or give a warning to this person. In conclusion, Msp IS a safe game, and if your child is more than 10 yo and is mature for their age, then go ahead, let them sign in. But still, tell them to not talk to strangers and to not give their personal information. I hope my review helped you.

I have several issues with this website.

1. It's near impossible to even do anything. In order to buy new things, you have to have hundreds of coins. You can usually get maybe 20-40 per game you play.

2. People cheat. There are games where players pick the winners (craziest cards and a fashion game). Most people will set up deals, meaning that if you continue to vote for them, they'll vote for you. Ensuring that it's mostly the two of you who win, which effectively ruins the game for the other players.

3. Beggars- Oh my gosh, the beggars. They'll continually ask you to vote for them so that they can win. And if that's not annoying, try saying no to one of them. It's like all hell broke loose, causing drama on a game that should be fun. When people ask me, I typically tell them that I don't vote for people who ask, in fact that makes me not vote for them even if I think they're the best choice. Then they act like they're being killed.

4. So much inappropriateness!- I've seen people ask where someone lives so they can come rape them, young girls asking for sugar daddy's, and so many people saying sexual things. This one dude started telling a little girl he was going to give her a golden shower, and then started to explain in detail what it was! When I private messaged the girl, she said she was 11! COMPLETELY inappropriate.

5. Bullying- I think this is enough to be said on the subject. I was speaking with my girlfriend in private chat, and she started getting trashed by a random girl we didn't even know.

This site is completely awful, and should be taken down. Keep your kids far away. This isn't worth the trouble.

This happened just a few days ago on January the 19th 2024 at around 8pm at night. I accidentally bought a star coin top up by accident not realising what I was doing as I did think I was buying Vip. Upon knowing this I requested a refund through apple pay for only £1.49 so it wasn't even a large sum either, and I assumed they would just revoke my starcoins and diamonds. But instead I got my account locked permanently and a lock number 42. I have emailed them from the 20th and have yet to receive a response from anyone. Not a single person has gotten back to me and so have only received the automated email.

I find it very bizarre and scummy that the company locked my account all because I requested a refund which I would have then bought the VIP instead which is what I initially wanted to do.

And one day I try to log in a it says PERMANENT LOCK which I'm fuming because I spend hard earned money on that game. AND OBVIOUSLY HOW AM I GOING TO HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF RECIEPTS DATED BACK WAY OVER A YEAR AGO so its not like I can send evidence of purchasing VIP, the only thing I can prove is having certain features of my character which you have to be VIP in order to buy IN WHICH I do have screenshot of avatar/character.

And I know for fact I haven't done anything against the terms and conditions so i believe its a misunderstanding.

I love this game alot and I just recently came back and started playing. When I did play I was younger and was not very smart in the head, as someone told me they would buy me vip, and I gave them my password to do so. As an outcome, I got hacked, and now I am sending this to recover my account and password. Another thing is that I did not associate my email as I was young and did not have one, so I can not try the "I forgot my password" option.

- The chatrooms are absolutely deserted (compared to the US, 3 FULL skate chatrooms)

- There are like 7 active forumers (compared to the US, 30+)

- One person actively making movies (compared to the US, constant stream of new media)

I am a level 8 and it says I got 230 friends and I only have 100 and yes I counted how many friends I got so I made anther account and it did the same thing can u please tell me what's wrong.

My account was locked by lock number 42 and it says it was because of a suspicious transaction. I have a receipt for my transaction through cashapp. I've sent in proof multiple times but nothing is being done. I've read every rule and I haven't broken any of them. I was locked out of my account for unauthorized payments, which isn't true because I payed for it with a gift card that was given to me, I emailed them a couple times about it, and they keep repeating the same thing over and over about why it was locked, my account is wassupguys345, and they gave me a lock number: 42 and I appealed it, but they're not doing anything about it. I really want my account back, I didn't break any rules nor will I ever break them please help me.

When I go to change my leggings, it just layers what I have on instead of replacing them and I can't take them off. It's really annoying because no matter what I can't change it. I currently have the fishnet leggings. But I can't figure out how to take them off, and when I try to wear a skirt or a different pair of pants/leggings, you can see the fishnets are still there.

SO in February (feb, 27, 2020 at 7:32 AM) I bought a year vip and then in december I bought 2 years of vip December 25th at 5:41 AM and at 2:20 PM both year d-packs and for some reason when my year vip ended for February I lost my 2 years of vip as well. This incident happened today in the past hour. Today being, 2/21/21. A user: freerarenumber1 is making fake accounts of me and slandering my name telling people to report me to get my account suspended when I haven't done anything wrong to anyone. I am very worried that my 4-year account will be suspended if this keeps happening. She is causing personal threats by commenting on all of my artbooks and my looks and there is no way for me to delete those comments or turn them off. I feel very unsafe being on this app with a user like her and I am not the first person she has done this with.

She also said threatening her moms & uncles own MSP, & saying they can have me banned! just cuz if she really even is related to MSP owners does not give her power to have my account Canceled! She Reported me with false accusations that aren't even true! She Reported me for absolutely no reason at all whatsoever! If this girl is gonna threaten & harass MSP users like she did me then she doesn't even deserve to play MSP at all period! Also just her MSP name alone Should be Reported! Since May 2020, my 14 year old signed up for VIP Membership of 13 euros/month without my consent nor knowledge. On May 25th 2020, I noticed a charge of 13 euros from MovieStarPlanet (MSP EMEA APS*Moviestarp Copenhagen) and contacted my bank to dispute the charge and block the merchant.

On July 3rd, 2020, I emailed their support to ask them to stop payment on the membership as my daughter used my credit card without my permission. Nathan emailed me on July 10th 2020 explaining that they use a third party payment provider so they do not keep information on file but gave me a case number #2343910 as reference. He asked for the User Name, bill and transaction number. However I had sent him a list of all the user IDs she used but no reply.

However since May, I have called my bank to dispute the charge to no avail as it continues to charge my credit card every month. I would like to request a refund for the charges after I called my bank to block them so July, August, September and October charges as well as stop the membership fee from recurring.
