Morgan Properties building # 13020

On 10/26/19 approximately, 6:00am-6:30am I was coming out of my building, I saw a Spanish (decent) man lying on stairs with his mouth wide open, not breathing, I thought he was dead, so I called 911. But before I did anything, Coming out of my apartment and seeing what appeared to me of a dead man it scared the day lights out of me., So I did what any normal person would do., I called Police, I went to office of Willow lake apartments this morning, as soon as I got dress, I asked to see Jamille, (I guess, I needed to make an Appt's., to see the First Lady, wife of Obama)., I was told by one of leasing agents, she was about to step out, then shortly after that, she walked in the rear of me and pass me, No greeting of the day are nothing, She and Asst., Property Mgr., The two of them really needs customers service training for at least 6 months. I wanted to let them know of the issues that happen on Sat., 10/26/19 morning in my building which suppose to be safe, and I feel safe no matter what time I come out of my apartment.
Also once you see this video and pictures and listen, to the officers, talk it's has happen several times.

Morgan Properties malicious charge

My apartment had approximately 12 water leaks. The last leak occurred 10 days before I moved out. Maintenance staff came and stated they would need permission from their boss because the leak was from a pipe that busted behind the wall and thus they needed demolition permission. The next day I received a voice message from the maintenance secretary stating that they are not able to fix the leak at this time because they need permission. When I turned in my keys and sticker I made sure to bring up the above issue. They said as long as I put in the work order there should not be a problem. After I moved out I called several times requesting my final bill and was told weeks later, finally via email, that my bill was sent to claims before I was even notified. I called the claims department who informed me that I was being charged $169.60 for carpet cleaning. The carpet to the entire apartment was spotless (had it covered when I lived there) except for the area around the leak. Claims department stated that if this is in error that management would have to correct it however no one in the office, especially Ken Bryant who sent me the email, will respond to my phone calls.

Morgan Properties horrible service only here for 3 weeks and my unit is infested with mice spiders bed bugs and ants

Filing a complaint on cedar garden and towers apartment. first off the staff you have on board is unprofessional, very rude and intolerable.
2nd this apartment we moved in to on September 30 is infested with mice, spiders and bed bugs. my new bed is now infested and also I have an allergic reaction all over my body to the bug bites I went in person and showed Philip who is another employee there October 17 or 18 these bites marks are from several different kind of bugs as well as my 3. children came in contact with bites . I'm on several medication while pregnant for these bug bites I wake up to have my food being eaten by mice and mice *** everywhere.
I reported the incident immediately in person and online and yet nothing has been done I received a letter that the exterminators were coming today 10/25 but no time frame. I go to the office to talk to one of the staff members and re-explain my concerns and the heavy set lady with a black mole on her right side of her face was very hostile and rude. Every time I call and to speak to someone I speak to sydnee cause she is the one to answer and is unbelievably rude and today 10/25/19 I actually walked in to her conversations about my apartment being infested and joking about it. but when she saw me walk in in right timing she stop talking to her coworker with Dread locks and realized it's my unit she is talking about I called her today this morning on my first week at my new job to find out what time will the exterminator beat my unit she had no idea and they will come when they can.
I left work early just to make sure this was gonna get done and to finish bagging my belongings as I stated I'm pregnant and in pain due to the cellulitis caused by the bug bites but obviously couldn't finish in time bc like I stated this is my first week on the new job. When I carried on conversation with Sydney she advised that the apartment wasn't infested before we moved in so I stated that I didn't know she was the tenant living there before me, I also said well we just moved in so what are you implying that we brought the infestation she said she is not saying that but the apartment was cleared before we moved in and than I stated watch it bc now your contradicting yourself cause we have only been here 9/30/19 and today is 10/25/19 and most of our stuff is in boxes still. I was given a check off list to check off when I moved in with what is wrong with things in this apartment and had 7 days to hand in that In, I handed it in already I was advised someone was coming to fix things no one has came. It only took me 3 weeks to decided that this is not the facility for me and was trying to get a transfer to another facility of Morgan property but they advised today that I have to be here 6 months to do a smooth move transfer and that will not be happening because I have only been here 3 weeks.
I paid up front 500 and 558 and than was charged a pet fee for my service animal and since the Morgan property "attorney" approved my service animal they added the 300 and something to the following months rent. When we moved in the apartment it smelled like cat *** the lights on the outside are broken and while pregnant I fell and tripped on steps. None of the cabinets have sturdy stable shelves I actually had to throw out dishes that broke. The toilets are always running the blinds are always falling and breaking when they fall.
there is no screens on windows in the upstairs room or sliding door the screen actually broken. There is wholes in some ways and these weird lil bugs coming out the carpet as well the list goes on As of now my kids sleep on the floor bc there beds are not set up due to the bed bugs while mice run over them. I've called me Paul Morgan to get a in contact with me and Lisa morrillo and I have yet to hear from any one from corporate so I called another apartment complex to get advice on what to do when I did speak to some one in silver spring apartments (410)999-1580 they went back to advise the heavy set lady with the mole on her face that I wanted to speak to corporate about this facility and what I can do about my situation in fact that's when I realized that sydnee was talking about this unit bc I was the one who spoke to the gentleman in silver spring. Than the lady with the mole on her face advised me that they came and took pictures of my apartment which is very invasive to prove that the job wasn't completed due to my things not being put in bags so if I don't hear from corporate soon my attorney will be contacting you soon.

Monetary Loss: $1000.
Preferred solution: smooth Transfer to another facility or my money back to move to some where else

Morgan Properties complaint

I am getting very tried of being in an apartment that was rented with water problems, mold, just wasn't fitted for a dog to be living in...I was hospitalized after being in the unit one week after living in it...to date their are still issues with the unit they were supposed to move me now they aren't...I would appreciate if someone from the corporate office to reach out to communicate with me directly.

Morgan Properties move out charges

My lease was scheduled for renewal on October 16 2018. I informed the complex that I was in the process of closing on a new home and was unsure how long I would need to renew. The person that answered the phone stated no problem, just let us know when you have a date. Call back when the date was determined and proceeded as instructed. Later I received a notice that I owe 4086 dollars, made several calls to the leasing office, promised a return call to no avail. Matter was sent to collections where the representative was not eager to assist. Tried calling the corporate office and received no answer. I went to voice nail and was unable to leave a message because the mailbox was full. Til this date, the fee is recorded on my credit report and I am unable to resolve the matter with the company because you can get to a live representative.

Morgan Properties office staff incompetence

My current complaint is that I'm interested in upgrading to a 3 bedroom 2 bath unit because my daughter and grand daughter want to move to Nashville for employment reasons. In order to do that we had to have a background check done on my daughter and son in law in order for them to be permitted to live with us in the apartment complex.. They came to Nashville, they currently live in Chattanooga area, last weekend to fill out the background check form and all and the office staff said it would be Monday or Tuesday when they'd let us know the results, it's now Thursday afternoon and AGAIN they're delaying it until tomorrow. My son in law is supposed to start working WITH US here in Nashville tomorrow (Friday), we scheduled his start date Friday because we were told we'd have the results back BY Tuesday. We need this resolved TODAY if possible and the office staff is still putting us off. Please contact me ASAP. My phone number is

Morgan Properties many issues with property manager

I reached out to the Property Management office in the middle of July to discuss several of the issues I have been having with the apartment and the property, see list below. The only response I received was the schedule an in-person discussion. I immediately responded to explained that this was difficult as I am normally at work during the hours the office is opened. I never received another response back. I tried stopping over in person a few times but the property manager was never available. She also never responded to the notes I left with her staff asking her to call me. I have attached copies of the email communication from the middle of July.

1. Between the photos I was shown online and the apartment tours I was given, I was lead to believe that there would be microwave above my stove. On the day I got my keys, I brought this up to your office staff. At first I was told that microwaves only come with the premium upgraded apartments. After informing him that my apartment was supposed to have all of the upgrades (the price definitely reflected this), he stumbled and went to speak with someone. He came back and informed be that microwaves are no longer being added to the apartments but since I was led to believe I'd have one that they would work on adding one to my kitchen. I stopped by a few more times and each time I kept getting the brush off. Unfortunately the kitchen is not really conducive to adding one on the counter and there is only has one outlet which is right next to the sink and above the DW, which seems more like a fire hazard than anything else. Point blank, this is one of many deal breakers on my list. Had I know about this I would not have signed a lease.

2. Before I moved/signed a lease, I had several conversations with your office staff about the parking situation. I have a sister who visits frequently who has a medical condition that can make walking painful. I was told that included with the $10/month parking fee, I would be getting one complimentary parking pass. This would enable my sister to park as close as possible to my building. This is very important to me and ultimately was one of the big reasons I signed a lease with Columbia Pointe. I also appreciated the ability to buy additional parking passes for $3/day. Fast forward a few weeks I hear about this new parking program. I was disappointed about losing the ability to buy the daily passes, but thought I still at least had my complimentary pass. Turns out my pass was also going away, which meant that if I was having two people visit for the weekend I went from spending at the most $6 to park two cars to now paying upwards of $100 which is absolutely ridiculous. On top of all that, parking, which wasn't previously an issue, has now become an issue as there are now areas that we used to park that can now only be used by visitors. Again, this is another huge deal breaker for me.

3. Since I moved in, I have had consistent issues with flooding through the fan in my bathroom. I have called and reported this issue at least 6 times, possibly more. It took three or four times for them to state it was coming from an overflowing tub in the apartment above me. I was told that they were working on putting things in place so that it wouldn't be an issue again. Of course it did happen again a week or two later. At this point, I was told they repaired some pipe and the issue was fixed. Two days later I walked into my bathroom to find it covered in water again. This was the week of July 4th. Since I was going on vacation the following week, I was told that they would be spending the time digging into the issue and probably cutting a hole in my ceiling to determine where the issue was coming from. I was also told that another issue mentioned during this visit (running toilet) would be fixed while I was gone. I got back from a trip the evening of July 14th and discovered that once again my bathroom was wet and my toilet was running. This means that none of them items that were going to be looked into/fixed were done. At the beginning of August, I had another major leak/flood that involved a hole being cut in my ceiling to fix a pipe. A few weeks later on August 25th, I had a massive flood that led to both a hold in my ceiling and wall and another pipe having to be replaced. It took them over a week to fix everything which meant that for a week I had a hole in my ceiling. I have videos/photos of the water rushing out of my ceiling. I have brought up several times to both the maintenance workers as well as the property management office that I am quite certain I most likely have a mold issue due to all of the water leaks.

4. On July 15th, I woke up at about to 4:30am to no power. I assumed that it was a power outage and reported it as such to BGE. A few hours later on my way into work I called BGE to follow up on the outage. At this point I was told it was not an outage with them and then I needed to reach out to my maintenance department. I ran home just to confirm that the power was still off, which it was. I then called the Maintenance Emergency line around 8am to let them know about the issue. I had to get into work, so I was unable to stick around the apartment. In the past they have always been pretty good about getting back to me after I leave a message. I got stuck in several meetings and realized at 12:30pm that no one had called me back. I reached back out and spoke to someone in the office who let me know the issue was being worked and was just about back on. When I got home at 6pm last night, I discovered that the power has only been on for about 30 minutes meaning that it was not almost back up when I called previously. I also discovered that my AC was not working so I called the emergency line again. Unfortunately I was unable to stay as I had plans. When I got home at 10pm last night my AC was still not working, plus I never received a response from someone via the emergency line. I called again and left another message asking that someone please come out and take a look at the unit. I never received a response to this message either. I was finally able to get a hold of someone in the office and he simply put in a maintenance request and honestly didn't seem overly concerned that one of the residents has now been without AC for over 24 hours. This was during a heatwave and the only solution they had was to put a temp A/C for the rest of the week in my Living Room. The average temp of my Living Room was 80 degrees - I couldn't sleep in my bedroom for a week due to the heat. A week later on July 25th I came home to an apartment set at 71 degrees but registering at 79. I called the emergency line right away (current outside temp was in the low 90s). The on-call person was in class so they couldn't take care of anything until after that was over (10pm or so). Why would they have someone 'On-Call' if they are not actually available to assist with anything? By the time they were able to take a look, the outside temp had cooled to something in the 70s so they were no longer required to do anything that evening.

5. One of the huge things that attracted me to this community was the fact that this is a smoke free community. The management company goes as far as to have everyone sign something with out lease regarding this policy. Unfortunately it is definitely not something enforced. The amount of times I smell smoke or see cigarette butts is astonishing for a supposed 'Smoke Free Community'.

At the point the only resolution I would like would be to be let out of my lease early with no penalties (this includes my security deposit). While I have only lived at this community for about 5 months, I never account the amount of issues in all my years (10+) of renting.

Morgan Properties rental deposit

I was a Tenant at the Chase Lea Apartments, I moved out May 17, 19 11 Wellhaven Circle Apt 1013 Owings Mills, MD 21117. I did an early buy out, I paid everything that was required and Raven Coleman did my walk through she marked everything off and also wrote no additional damage on the check off list, the carpet was pending even though it also was good. She told me they would have the final after they check the carpet out for damage underneath and I should get my deposit back $495.00 if not all most of it depending on the last utility bill. She said it would take at least 30-60days. I called and spoke with Ms Joanna in July because I had not received my deposit yet, she told me it had been mailed out, I asked her how much was it she told me It was for $75.00. I told her that could not be right I took pictures before I left and I also have a copy of the walk through. She told me the carpet was damaged and they had to get it clean. That is incorrect and she mailed me a check for $75.00 I do not agree with the outcome as I know I should get my deposit of $495.00 back and not $75.00. I hope we can resolve this soon. Morgan Properties dispute final bill

Our family moved in from a house fire. We had to move in right away because we only had the clothes on our back and we had children. The apartment they showed us was some what ready, so we took it in good faith. When we got in they explained that they were going to clean the carpet, which they never did. Once again they didn't do anything that needed fixing. Then the next thing we know that it was sold to Morgan's Property. They fixed the outside of the building and not the inside. It was items that needed to be done in the apartment. Tickets were put in and nothing was done. I Know because I was home everyday. I called my niece because they acted like she was the only one they were talking to. Three adults names were on the lease but they only prefer to speak to Monique. The mice was running rampted through out the building and it was a hole in my bedroom floor and wall where they were coming through the floor boards and I am on dialysis so it was unsafe for me and the kids. I complained about the apartment and nothing was done. Then we had a leak in the kitchen and the maintenance guy cut a hole in the wall and cut through the electrical wiring and the whole apartment went out. We lost food, some applies stopped working and they took their sweet time replacing them. They came up with a Bill after we moved talking about the things they should have fixed and we will not be paying nothing. I have pictures to prove that this Bill is a lying. We can go to court if you want to. But pictures always tell the truth in the end. Have a great day, the tentens.

Morgan Properties horrible management, place to live

There are too many issues at this morgan property to even start here. Management is horrible, I cannot get anyone in management to call me back.in the almost 2 years that I have lived there, there have been 4 managers and the leasing agents come and go. Management needs to get it right or a lot of people will be leaving. People don't feel safe, the building is filthy (when it's supposed to be luxury living, that's what you pay for), they have airbnb in the building (lots of it), etc... There is just so much and not one person can return my call. It is terrible.

Morgan Properties rodebts

My daughter moved in on 8/7/19 3 days later my granddaughter was bit by a bat that was in the apartment my other daughter who is 29 weeks pregnant was also in the aprtment along with my other granddaughter they all have to get rabies vaccines one of my daughtes has no insurance so she has to pay out of pocket and they offered to relocate them but she has to pay an additional security deposit and a prorated rent after being told they could transfer everything . She has incurred hospital bills trauma and additional moving expenses because she does not have an additional 1037 to move to the new property so she is essentially without a place to live and still being charge for her things being in the apartment that shes not staying in .I called coooperate an no one has called us back horrible place to live

Morgan Properties mismanagement

Bowel movement, waste, unsanitary conditions, Feces, rodents, bugs, urination, maggots etc.
Inhuman conditions.Etc.
Dirt, trash unlivable conditions.
New Apartment heating room and filter black. They knew the lady moved because of the back up some of her dog feces from Before June 12. We knew the odor from day one was sickening.
Previous tenant had dog they said the carpet had to be replaced. They lied about replacing it. I put in for exterminator no one replied. Also 7 other maintenance requests.
There is months of urine and bowel movement on floor.
No lease I moved out of another apartment they stole my security deposit. There were a few stains on carpet they say they payed $800 to clean carpet. Other items that were illegal I will speak to corporate one on one.
My civil Rights and human rights have been violated.
I want my money back from June and July my security deposit they stole.
Also I'm not paying for August.
Finally July 6 2019 The resident manager and Doris both need to be fired.
Neither did anything about these conditions.
I asked for me and my son to be moved immediately. My son has breathing problems so I asked to me moved on Monday they said no.
Everyone in building should know about this.
When I told them the Government and Health Department have been notified about these Hazzardouz conditions.
Now it is Thursday. They knew these conditions from many months. Refused to fix. I truly feel violated.
Trying to take correct and legal action as needed.
Please correct this and give me and my child a decent apartment immediately.
Move us as soon as possible.
Other legal laws have been broken.
You may call health department.
Please contact me immediately.

Other issues no real lease .
Theft by rental office. I will fight legally for me and my child.
My move out date was May 31. 2019 in writing. Bad management I moved June 12.
They charged me and it was their fault. Every two day they changed my move out date and stole my security deposit.
Morgan Management this is the worst.
I'm holding my phone.

Morgan Properties maintenance, neighbors

While living in this apartment I have experienced major issues. Maintenance is a complete mess. Between taking over a month to fix the air conditioner that was completely unusable, the window that will barely close not being handled, the doors being completely broken for about three months, and the dishwasher that had water sitting in it for a week and having never been fixed in the last two weeks. Also the people whom live above me being as loud as they possibly could be and having four tenants in a one bedroom and another living in the basement. I do not want to call the cops because we have already had altercations with the upstairs neighbors regarding the noise. As calling the office prior and never being handled. I am at my wits end due to the fact that the noise and the amount of people is completely unnecessary. I need for these issues to be handled before I put my money into escro until it is handled.

Morgan Properties additional charges

Moved out of my apartment on 5/30, and have been charged for maintenance issues (such as my kitchen and foyer floor that was replaced with a laminate sheet in 2017, and tore by the contractors that were replacing, and was told that i would not be charged) it also states that that were were "bleach stains" on the floors, i tried reaching out to the property manager and have been ignored for over 2 months.

This is my 2nd complaint on this company, the Forge gate property in particular. The property manager Barbara has treated my family very poorly our entire 5 years living on the property, she has accused us countless amount of times, violated my privacy, and has spoke very poor of me to neighbors. I moved out of Forge Gate apartments in May of 2019. I have been trying to get a hold of Barbara since then and was ignored for over 2 months, We received a call from one of her partners at the office(which one of them hung up on me after yelling because she didn't want to listen to what i had to say) saying we owe money for damages we knew nothing about. She claimed there were holes in the wall that needed to be repaired and when i asked for pictures she proceeded to say "after further investigating there were no holes, 3 coats of paint needed to be applied to the walls", she also said that there was damage to the foyer floor, when she sent the photo of the "damages " it shows damage to the kitchen which she is trying to say is the foyer (i will attach comparison pictures to this email). The damages look like they were made by someone either moving a refrigerator or moving things into the kitchen. I do not come on these boards to bash anyone, but this woman needs to be stopped with this, she has been doing this for years. Some one please correct me if im wrong, does the location of both images shown appear to be the same? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Morgan Properties worst rental establishment, poorly run and up kept for how expensive the rent they are charging.

I had to move into this Apartment Complex due to having a fully disable brother, Leg Amputee, Stroke victim, Diabetic, as our prior place which we lived in for 7 yrs had stairs and due to my brother`s declining health, he could no longer climb stairs. I am his full time Caregiver and Advocate, paid by a Home Care Service Company to care full time for him at home. I rented a 2 bedroom Apt April 14th 2017. I was told by the Property Manager that I could purchase a Screen Door for the small 2nd Bedroom, since my brother can not get outside much and is a smoker. Four months after move in problems began with the Structor of the buliding and mold and non working Appliances. I was told we would need to relocate to a Hotel, pack up our belonging again and place in Storage untill the Buliding was fixed. This was a hardship on both my brother and myself has he has a surgery scheduled, and been in a Hotel was just unacceptable. I asked if I could be moved to a different Apt instead. Thankfully I was able to do so. We moved from H Building into K Buliding, Sept 2017. Last year I was now told, we can no longer have the Screen Door in my brother`s Bedroom, due to Main Office`s say so. I complained about this, as with no window in that room, just the door, there is no ventilation, having the door open will not work, due to bugs and Rain and Snow that soaks the rug in Winter time, also other things coming into his room, not to mention his safety. I was told I needed to file paperwork for the Main Office, which I did in Nov 2018. I was then told that the Agency and Caseworker for my brother needed to also fill out paperwork. I gave the Caseworker the information and was told they would complete the necessary form and Fax it back to Property Manager here. I was told by Property Manager Fri July 26th, that they have not received it as of yet, and the Door will have to be removed. I think this is ridiculous, especially now my brother is dealing with Cancer too. without that Screen Door, and no window to open, it will be like closing him a Closet. So how can this be a 2 bedroom Apt? I just want to be able to keep the Screen Door for my brother to enjoy some fresh air, and safety since he is pretty much bed bound due to his health.

Morgan Properties the property

Writing this complaint regarding country village apts in Dover delaware. My grandmother and brother who was both disable had to deal with roaches flooding issues mold mildew air not working heat not working and no hot water for over a week. But yet was took to court for non payment of rent and given 2 days to surrender the property. So yes Morgan properties is a get over an scam artists. Don't care bout nothing but money not their tenants

Morgan Properties the service and the customer service

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. It's the middle of the summer. I called 4 week ago to tell them the air condition was not working. The air is adjusted at 68. The heat in the apartment. Is 83. They finally brought a portable air condition for 1 bedroom on Saturday. They came out again today. This is after putting in a request 6 times. They are trying to doctor it up. My daughter is pregnant. My granddaughter has asthma.
This is the second apartment that we have lived in. We had to move out of the first apartment because it was always flooding. And moss was setting in. Water would come gushing from the toilets the kitchen sink. It was horrible. We had to to put up a fight to mover into another.
The manager never answers her phone and she is very rude. Called the office last week the rep asked if we can stay with someone else because of the. We pay over $ 1,300.00 and we have to find somewhere to stay. I cannot use my kitchen I am stuck in the bedroom. When my lease is up in 3 months. We are out of here. Some of my neighbors have the same complaints.

Morgan Properties no hot water

Moved into a Morgan property on July 6, 2019,
The next morning(7/7/2019) I was in the front office due to not having any hot water! Maintenance request was submitted. Monday (7/8/19) came home to the same issue of not having hot water. Received email stating my maintenance request was handled and case close. This issue with the hot water has now been going on for a week. I have been brushed off by property manager Kim here at Henry on the park Apartment Homes. Within the same week of moving in a mouse ran across my foot. Request for exterminator submitted but highly doubt anyone came out to address the issue. I'm a new tenant that has NOT been treated kindly. Looking to move out ASAP! I don't think asking for HOT WATER is a far fetched request. Someone from the higher chain needs to address this issue and not The property Manager Kim, whom I have yet to hear from.

Morgan Properties noise complaint

I am writing this complaint to inform you that your complex in Avery Park in silver Spring, has not helped us at all with the noise complaint. We been living in the complex over year now and since we move there, we have had issues with residents upstairs of us. We live in the second level and the resident on top of us are stomping, running, and heavy walking through the night and every single day. This has impacted my health. We can't sleep. This unacceptable for a place we come to everyday and we cant live in peace. It's absurd to me. We pay rent too. We have called the police on them so many times and we go to the leasing office as well, and noting.This keeps repeating like revolving door and this has to stop. The residents upstairs think its funny to mess with someone sleep and peace.Literally, we hear them laughing and giggling. I am begging you please do something. Please evict them because if they are going to keep living there its going to get worse.

Morgan Properties towing

My vehicle was towed within 10-12 mins of me pulling up and running in to use my bathroom. My visitor pass is inside my vehicle in the cup holder along with my cellphone and belongings. I have not been able to get any kind of assistance from the leasing office. The tow truck company cannot reach me their manager and the leasing office had me on hold for 10 mins just to come back on the line to tell me to call back because they're about to have a meeting and no manager is in the office. It's very cruel and unfair for me to have to pay $250 for running in my home to use the bathroom.
