website and order placed - money taken
I purchased 2 items from the Mordenmiss website. During the ordering process, I paid by PayPal and immediately received confirmation from PayPal to say my payment went through. When the process returned to the Mordenmiss website, it said that there was a problem with the checkout and that I had no items in my basket. I did not receive a confirmation order or anything to indicate my order had been processed, yet my payment was taken.
I immediately used the contact form on the website, which did not, and continues not to work.
I found an email address for the company via PayPal and sent an email, to which I have had no response. I have tried numerous times to call China (from the UK) and I am unable to get through. I get a recorded message saying something like 'unable to connect your call'.
I have opened up a dispute in PayPal, however, am disgusted that such a company is allowed to operate.
My money had immediately been taken and I have no way of making contact with the company.
Service
I ordered from MordenMiss only once and had a bad experience. Ordered a lovely dress and when I received my order I was disappointed to see that it was incorrect. I contacted MordenMiss and asked for a replacement and they agreed to accept it back but said that I have to pay for the return shipping. I decided to keep the dress because I did not want to pay for shipping, it was way too expensive to ship back to China. Very poor quality service.
