I've used them a couple times now and never really had any issues. I'm 50 years old homeowner and been around the block a couple times so always cautious with this type of stuff. Main line needed snaking. I know the issue...it's a tree root that's a little beyond my little Home Depot DIY snake. For $100, they can come clear the brush covering the drain and get their hands all dirty doing the job, money well spent. This time they said they couldn't snake it...total blockage so they were going to call out a "field supervisor" who was going to scope it. I rebuffed and said I was going to call someone else to which they offered to scope for free. I confirmed still $99 out the door to which they acknowledged, keeping in mind they advertise if they can't clear the drain it's no charge. So these guys don't want to be at my house for free if I send them packing.

Sup shows up going on and on how "he's on my side", and "only wants to help". After hearing that 3 or 4 times, it's pretty obvious where this job is heading. After going over my lawn with some fancy Ghostbusters looking gadgets, says he can't scope it because its full backup and for $2250, they'll tear up the front yard and figure it out 🤣🤣. Informed them that was not on the table and thanked them for their time.

So now...plan B, the cheaper plan, for $650 they'll use a water jet to try and clear it. It's still a "no" and I thank them for coming out. So he drops the water jet price to $250. It's still a "no" from me, so then he drops it to $150 and we go ahead and roll with it. LO AND BEHOLD! The $150 water jet works on a job where the $100 snake wouldn't. Pretty sure either he wasn't snaking it correct, or he was lying. I'm going with the lying part. I had this drain snaked more times than I can count. I know he's full of it.

Why not offer the $150 water jet to me from the beginning, or why not even $100? Why do we have to do the song and dance and work our way backwards starting with the most expensive job first. I get it...they're trying to make money. And I am sure they make plenty off people less fortunate. It's hard to find good, trustworthy people these days, and we can add Mike Diamond to the list of people we can't trust. Buyer beware. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion from another plumber. While we're at it...same goes for electricians. I have same stories with them

I recently reached out to Mike Diamond for a plumbing appointment and unfortunately, my experience was not up to par. The plumber who arrived at my home seemed to be having a bad day, as he was not very courteous and struggled to remove the shower valve handle. Instead of simply getting to work, he spent a lot of time talking about how big of a job it was and how difficult it would be to fix.

To make matters worse, he eventually suggested that I fix the problem myself if I knew how to do it. This was frustrating, as I had already paid for a professional to come and take care of the issue. To add insult to injury, I had actually had the same repair done by Mike Diamond five years ago, so I knew exactly what needed to be done.

After the appointment, I called to voice my concerns and was told that someone would get back to me. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a call back. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience and would not recommend Mike Diamond based on this encounter.

So, I had this big problem with my kitchen sink. It was so blocked that I couldn't even wash my dishes properly. I tried everything I could think of to clear it, but nothing worked. That's when I decided to call Mike Diamond. And boy, am I glad I did!

A few hours later, a technician named Leo Ochoa showed up at my door. He was right on time, which was a relief because I had a lot of things to do that day. Leo was really efficient and knew exactly what he was doing. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand, which was great because I don't know much about plumbing.

Leo gave me a thorough estimate of what needed to be done, and he had all the equipment he needed to get the job done. He even installed a new garbage disposal and made some other repairs that I didn't even know needed to be done. All of this was completed in just a few hours, which was amazing.

I have to say, Leo really made my day. He was so helpful and friendly, and he did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend him and Mike Diamond home services to my friends. In fact, I already have! Leo will be our go-to plumbing tech from now on.

Overall, I would rate Leo's work as excellent. He really knows his stuff, and he's a great guy to work with. I feel like I made a new friend! Thanks so much to Leo and Mike Diamond for all their help.

I gotta say, I've been using Mike Diamond Services for a hot minute now, and I ain't never been let down. These guys know what they're doing and they do it right. I've had to call them out for a few different things over the past seven years, and every time they've been on point. The techs are always super polite and professional, and they take all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe during these crazy COVID times. They wear masks and shoe covers and all that jazz.

One thing I really appreciate about these guys is their process. They don't just come in and start tinkering around. They take the time to ask questions and figure out exactly what's going on. Then they carefully evaluate what needs to be done and give you a clear estimate of the cost. They go over everything with you so you know exactly what you're getting into. And they keep you updated throughout the whole process, so you're never left in the dark.

When it comes to payment, they're super flexible. They take all kinds of payment methods, and you don't have to pay until the work is done and you're satisfied. That's a big deal for me, 'cause I don't wanna be stuck paying for something that didn't get fixed right.

All in all, I gotta say I highly recommend Mike Diamond Services and their techs. They know their stuff and they do it right. If you need some plumbing or HVAC work done, these are the guys to call.

I've been living in this area for a long time, since the 60s. Even though I now live in Northern Nevada, I still maintain my residence here because my oldest kids and grandkids still live in SoCal. It's always a challenge to maintain this house from a long distance, and this time was no different. We've been away for over a year, and we were wondering what kind of problems we would face this time. This week has been exceptionally cold, and the heater took a dive. We used to use an old family company for years, but the last few times have been unsatisfactory. So, we decided to give Mike Diamond a shot, and we are so glad we did.

The technician, who went by the name "Pro," was professional, courteous, and very thorough. He arrived in an amazing short time frame, which was dazzling. He found the problems with the heater and got the parts he needed. He installed them in record time, and now we have the A/C operating as good as new. We were so impressed with the service that we will most certainly be using Mike Diamond in the future. We will also recommend them to our neighbors.

So, I had a problem with a clogged pipe and I called another company to come and check it out. They wanted to charge me over $10,000 and were going to make a big mess by putting a hole through my closet and kitchen cabinet. They used some line and water to try and fix the problem, but it didn't work. That's when I decided to call Mike Diamond, a company I had used before. I was really happy with the technicians they sent out, the price they quoted me, and the work they did. The field manager was really great at explaining everything to me and making sure that they didn't cause too much damage to my house. I was really impressed with the camera they used to find the problem and how they were able to pinpoint exactly where to cut the pipe. All of the technicians were really professional, knew what they were doing, and were really nice. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing help. I'm sorry for any confusion I caused and I really appreciate them working with me to keep the cost down. Thanks, Mike Diamond!

The guy who came over to fix my toilet was pretty good at his job. He knew what he was doing and was able to figure out the problem in no time. But let me tell you, the price they charged me was insane! They charged me $76 just for coming to my house! I mean, I get it, that's how these things work, but still, it's a lot of money just for showing up.

And then, when he told me that the guts of my toilet needed to be replaced, I was shocked at the price they quoted me. They wanted $550 to replace the float and the mechanism that refills the toilet bowl! I mean, come on, I can buy those parts at Lowes for $15! And if I wanted to, I could buy a whole new toilet for $350! I told them I wasn't going to pay that much and they didn't seem too happy about it.

They did end up replacing the water shutoff valve from the wall to the toilet, which was a $20 part. But they charged me $285 to replace it! And on top of all that, they charge a $20 fee to every customer for "their insurance costs"? I've never heard of that before and it seems a bit fishy to me.

Overall, my experience with Mike Diamond was pretty poor. I don't think I'll be using them again and I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I ended up paying $405 just for them to come and replace a part that took no more than 30 minutes to complete and cost $20! I needed the part done, so I had no choice, but I definitely felt like I was being taken advantage of.

I called up Mike Diamond Services on a lazy Sunday afternoon and was greeted by a sweet young lady on the other end of the line. She was so pleasant to talk to and listened to my problem with utmost patience. She then went ahead and scheduled a service appointment for me at a time that was convenient for me. I requested for Ulysses to come over as he had worked for us a couple of times before and we were quite happy with his work.

Ulysses arrived on time, looking sharp and clean, with a big smile on his face. He was ready to tackle our problem head-on. Our bathroom sink drain pipe had broken off inside the wall and we were quite worried about the damage it could cause. Ulysses first took a detailed look at the problem and then gave us an estimate. We found the estimate to be quite reasonable and Ulysses got to work immediately.

He sawed through the outside wall (without tearing out any interior walls) and replaced the old, rotten, and rusted iron pipe with new plastic. He also recommended replacing a section of pipe underneath the house, which he did at an extra cost. We were quite impressed with his work and the fact that he completed the job in just 3 hours, all by himself. We were amazed at how he made his work look so easy, which is the trademark of a true professional.

Ulysses is definitely The Man when it comes to plumbers. He is professional, competent, and always available to talk about the job and our home's future needs. We were prepared for a major disaster, but Ulysses made it look like a piece of cake. We are so grateful to him for his hard work and dedication. THANKS, ULYSSES! Wow, I can't believe my experience with Mike Diamond Plumbing! I was quoted $99 for a washing machine stand pipe that was backing up, but when the plumber arrived, he added a $20 fuel surcharge, making the total $119. I suggested that he access the pipe through the small bathroom sink, which shares the same drain line, but he complained about the plastic P-trap and said it would be difficult to clean out. He then quoted me $168 to do the job, which I reluctantly agreed to.

To my surprise, the plumber finished the job in just 10 minutes with no issues. I was shocked that he charged me so much for such a quick and easy job. When I mentioned the bait and switch tactic, he told me to call the company directly and that nobody at Mike Diamond cares about complaints. He even admitted that he only works for the company because it pays his bills.

To make matters worse, he informed me after the job was done that there was no warranty. I was left feeling ripped off and frustrated. I paid my bill and told him I would never call Mike Diamond Plumbing again, but he didn't seem to care. He said he had more customers than he could handle and didn't need or want me as a customer.

I urge anyone reading this to never call Mike Diamond Plumbing. Their bait and switch tactics and lack of customer care are unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and find a different plumbing company.

I gotta tell ya, folks, I had a real bad experience with Mike Diamond. I needed a toilet part replaced and I called them up for an estimate. They said it would be $76, which seemed fair to me. I mean, it's just a few screws, right? I've done it myself before. So I told them to come on over to my office and do the job.

Well, let me tell you, when the technician arrived, things went downhill fast. They told me that the $76 was just a "get to the door" price and that the actual cost would be much higher. And when they finished the job, they handed me a bill for $547.67! That's right, folks, over five hundred bucks for a thirty-minute job!

They charged me $479.20 for labor, which works out to $960 an hour! Plus they tacked on another $40 for gas and workers' compensation. And when I complained, they only reduced the bill to $451. That's still over $900 an hour for labor!

I gotta say, folks, that's just not right. If they had told me up front that their labor rate was so high, I never would have hired them. And I bet their $99 "unplug the drain" commercial has all kinds of hidden fees. Don't fall for it, folks. Mike Diamond is not to be trusted.

So, we had a family gathering at our place on Father's Day, and someone ended up clogging the toilet. We were in a bit of a pickle, so we decided to call Mike Diamond Services to help us out. They advertised a $99 service to unclog the toilet, which seemed reasonable enough. We were hoping to get the job done quickly so we could get back to enjoying our day.

About half an hour later, a plumber from Mike Diamond Services arrived at our doorstep. I showed him the outside cleanup and expected him to run the snake to open the line. However, he did not even look at the cleanout or check anything else. He immediately started asking me for the mainline cleanout. I showed him the mainline on the other side of the house, but he wanted one on each side of the house. I was a bit confused, but I figured he knew what he was doing.

To my surprise, he did not look at anything, did not snake the line, or anything. He just started telling me that we needed TWO MAINLINE CLEAN OUT. Then he told me he could call his supervisor to come out and give us a quote to dig out the main line and install another main line cleanout. Possibly to change the sewer hookup line as well. I was shocked. I called these people to unplug a simple toilet, and now they were trying to sell me thousands of dollars worth of line replacement, new cleanout on the mainline, etc. before even checking anything. I got so angry and told him to get the hell out of here.

After that, I decided to call "ROOTER MAN" Plumbing. He came by and I showed him the cleanups. He went to his truck and brought his 50-foot small snake, and everything got back to normal in less than ten minutes for $49.00. I couldn't believe it. Mike Diamond Services tried to sell me $1000s of dollars with line replacement, new cleanout on the mainline, etc. before even checking anything. It was a total scam.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Mike Diamond Services to anyone. They send their workers out to sell, not to do the job. Their workers give homeowners some BS, and then call their supervisor to come out and hand the vulnerable homeowners a $10,000 or $20,000 bill. It's not right. It is a bad business. I would suggest looking for other plumbing services that are more honest and reliable.

Called for service on a continually running toilet. Quoted me $700 to change the flapper and fill valve, PLUS the $95 charge just to come out ($75 fee plus $20 for "high gas prices"). Told me it was because the parts for my toilet are expensive. Found them at Home Depot for less than $50. In addition, the "diagnosis" was for a faulty fill valve but also wanted to change the flapper for no apparent reason. Called two other plumbers and got estimates between $175 and $250.

So, I had a bit of a problem with my plumbing and decided to give Mike Diamond a call. They came out and did their thing, but unfortunately, they charged me a whopping $550 for a service that didn't even fix the problem. To make matters worse, their diagnosis of the issue wasn't even accurate. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience.

But, I didn't let that get me down. I decided to take matters into my own hands and called up an independent plumber. And you know what? They were able to fix the problem the same day! It was such a relief to finally have everything working properly again.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Mike Diamond to anyone. Their prices are way too high for the quality of service they provide, and their diagnosis skills are seriously lacking. If you're looking for a reliable plumber, I suggest you look elsewhere.

So, I had a clogged drain and called Mike Diamond to come fix it. He did a good job and got the drain cleared, but he charged me way more than I was expecting. He said it was because he had to take apart and reconnect the pipe under my kitchen sink, which turned a half hour job into a one hour job. So, I called back and they said they could send someone out that night, but it would be $300. I was desperate, so I agreed. Mike Diamond came out and cleared the clog, but it only took him about 10 minutes. I felt like I got ripped off, but at least we had water again. I wouldn't recommend them unless you're in a bind and have no other options.

So, I had a problem with my water heater and I called Mike Diamond Services to come and take a look. The technician who came out was really nice and knew what he was doing. He said that the water heater needed to be replaced and gave me a quote for $4,000 plus installation costs. I thought that was a lot of money, so I decided to get another company to come and give me a quote.

The other company came out and gave me a quote for a brand new water heater and installation for only $1200! I couldn't believe the difference in price. I ended up going with the other company and I'm really happy with the new water heater.

Overall, I think Mike Diamond Services is a good company, but their prices are just too high for me. If you're looking for a professional and courteous technician, then they're a good choice. But if you're looking for a good deal, then you might want to shop around.

I called Mike Diamond Services to book an appointment for a plumbing issue I was having. The person on the phone asked me if I wanted a morning or afternoon appointment, which was convenient for me. I took the day off work to wait for the technician to arrive. However, after waiting until 1pm, I decided to call the service center to see what was going on. I was put through to a manager named Louis, who informed me that the technician was not going to be able to make it until three days later. I was disappointed that I had taken the day off work for nothing and that there was no communication about the delay.

I had also purchased a service agreement from Mike Diamond Services, which made the situation even more frustrating. I would advise others to avoid this company and their services. The lack of communication and delay in service was unacceptable.

So, we had this Moen bathroom faucet that we wanted to get installed. We called up Mike Diamond and two plumbers showed up. They looked under our bathroom sink and then went out to their truck for like 15 minutes to write up an estimate. The estimate they gave us was for a whopping $1,175.33 just to install the faucet! We were like, "What the heck?!" We paid the $76.41 service fee and sent them on their way.

The next day, we had a licensed plumber come to install the faucet and he only charged us $100.00! Can you believe that? We were so mad at Mike Diamond for trying to rip us off like that. We're gonna tell everyone in our community - the Men's Club, Women's Club, Garden Club, and anyone else who will listen - about these outrageous charges, especially for seniors. It's just not right.

Overall, we were really disappointed with Mike Diamond's service. We thought they were supposed to be a reputable company, but they just tried to take advantage of us. We won't be using them again and we definitely won't be recommending them to anyone we know.

So, I had a problem with my sink and two shower drains. I was looking for a solution and found Mike Diamond Services. They advertised a $99 per drain service fee, which sounded reasonable to me. I decided to give it a try and called them.

The technician arrived on time and was very friendly. His name was Leo, and he seemed to know what he was doing. He inspected the drains and suggested a water jet treatment to the line, which would cost an additional $400. I agreed to it since I wanted to get the problem fixed as soon as possible.

However, one of the shower lines was still not moving, and Leo had to use a snake to clear it out. He charged me another $99 for that, which I thought was a bit too much for just 30 seconds of work. At the end of the service, he tried to sell me some enzyme crystals for maintenance, which were another $99. I refused to buy them since I felt like I had already spent enough money on the service.

Overall, Leo was great and very knowledgeable. He did a good job fixing the drains, but I was not happy with the additional charges. I think it's important for companies to be transparent about their pricing and not gouge customers. I don't think I will be calling Mike Diamond Services again, but I would recommend them to others if they are okay with the upselling and additional charges.

I gotta say, I used to be a fan of Mike Diamond Plumbing. They did some good work for me in the past, but I gotta tell ya, my recent experience has left me feeling pretty sour. My Mom needed a new water heater, and we called up Mike Diamond to get a quote. They told us it would cost $3,227.00 plus $273.00 for the permit. That's a pretty steep price, if you ask me, but we went ahead and paid a 10% down payment of $323.00 in cash and $273.00 on a credit card for the permit.

Then came the real kicker. The tech they sent out to install the water heater was two days late! That's two days without hot water, folks. Not cool. And when he finally did show up, he tried to collect an extra $227.00 on top of the $3,000.00 we had already agreed to pay. I mean, come on. That's just shady.

I'm not one to complain, but I really feel like we got taken advantage of here. The price was too high, the installation was delayed, and they tried to squeeze more money out of us at the last minute. I'm sorry to say it, but I won't be doing business with Mike Diamond Plumbing again.

Called their Customer Service phone number to schedule an appointment. Appointment was scheduled with a window from 8:00am - 1:00pm. I called the center on the day of the appointment to verify as there was no show or courtesy call. I finally received a call back and they told me it would be at least a few more hours so I had to cancel. I believe a 5 hour window is plenty of time and if you are running late, give the customer a call. I was told they would make me a priority the following day and would definitely be there before 11:00am and call an hour prior showing up. On 8/29, I received no call. I called the Customer Service Center once again to ask if anyone was going to show up. The rep passed me on to her manager - Greg. Greg stated once again they are running late and it would be later on that day. Once again, no courtesy call...I canceled the appointment as Greg had no care in the world that I have already wasted hours of my time waiting for service. I guess this company does not care about their customers. Not a single worry from this group.

I was told the cost of pulling the toilet from it's seat was $350.00 extra. I agreed to that because the drain needed to be draining. After the job was complete I was told if I pay cash the job would be cheaper. I was given the option to pay with 2 checks due to the fact that I had no cash on me, 1 check for Mike Diamond, and 1 check to the tech doing the job. I informed the tech that I would write 1 check for the job payable to Mike Diamond. The date this happened was today 03/23/2016. I don't have the client number but the contract receipt he gave me is 2300384. The name on his shirt was Gabriel.
The total cost to me was $449.00. The job took one hour 25 minutes from start to the time the tech drove off. I thought your company should know that you could be loosing money with people like this working for you. I'm asking you to review my bill and if you see fit to refund anything that's up to you. I scheduled a bathroom faucet repair for my aunt. My aunt is 94 yrs old and is careful with her money. When the Smell Good Plumber got there he suggested a new faucet since this was the original faucet from the 80's. He went to his truck to see if my aunt could get a discount and gave us the estimate of $1165.90 which included a faucet $726.58 and the pop-up for $334.37. I almost fell over. My father just had his kitchen faucet replaced for $250 including faucet, pipes and labor. I told Smell Good she could not afford $1165.90 faucet and I went to Home Depot that night bought a nice faucet for $125 and a pop-up for $25. My husband took off work and installed it for her.
Mike Diamond does take advantage of poor little old ladies that don't know any better and are stuck when a household problem arises.
I would never call Mike Diamond and his Smell Good Plumbers, they smell FISHY.

Our water heater was leaking, needed a new one installed. Our water heater is located in the basement, so a special heater with a fan for ventilating was needed. The price was ludicrous, but we had to move quickly because I had company, water in the basement, etc. The serviceman quoted a price of $4500 for the "special" water heater. He also did not give us a breakdown of costs: labor, water heater price, etc. He just gave us a blanket price of $8500! When the water heater came, I asked him the model number of the water heater and I looked it up on the internet -- Only $1700 for the cost of the unit! Then he started back pedaling and said he could probably save us on the installation and reduce the price! He ended up cutting the cost by $1, 000. What a dishonest company. Rip off all the way!

Hired the plumbing company Mike Diamond to fix a back up problem in our main pipe in out mobile home. He came and I was thinking that they would hook up main pipe to another pipe that would drain the sewage in to a tanker for health and safety of my family (3 children under the age of 5 yrs). NO they didn't do that, they just let all that raw sewage drain all over our driveway, around our faucet by the hose, and under our mobile home! He left the mess and left me and my family and our health in a very dirty unsafe situation! I call to complain, but was just pushed aside as our health and safety of my children doesn't matter! Now in order to get it clean we need $2, 000 + to have under our home and around our home clean and safe again, but we are an extremely low income family and can't afford to pay that! So what are we to do! Thanks for nothing Mike Diamond and I will NOT be recommending you to anyone EVER! And if we get sick I'll see you in court! attach pictures taken outside 5 hrs later and no pictures of under home yet!

Call him for a main line stoppage...told it would be 99.00. The guy arrived, complained that he needed to be a foot from the pipe, (he was 2 feet away) and a bush was "in the way"...all this would mean was extra charges...Nothing was said on website about needing to be 1 foot away, or about bushes. Pipe is completely accessible and has been acessed many time without problem...This was a rip off for more money. Did not happen, as hubby told him no way was he paying for BS charges. Called someone else...no problem.

My shower was backed up. The tech. said he couldn't get the snake past the original "saxophone" style trap and told my wife that it needed to be replaced with another trap that the snake could fit through. This would cost $800. I have three problems with this... since investigating the problem myself. 1. There is an access port under my raised foundation house, which would have allowed access without making the bend. 2. The sink is connected and access could have been gained easily from there as well 3. I made it past the trap in the shower on my first attempt with a $30 drill powered snake from Lowes. I will never call these scam artists again!

After hearing Mike Diamond Plumbing commercials all the time, on Sunday we called them regarding a main that needed to be snaked. They promised to be out in 45 minutes and now, low and behold (3 hours later) they say they cannot get a tech out until tomorrow morning. It's only 3:15pm and they are supposidly open 7 days a week, 7am-7pm and they cannot get someone out here after promising 45 minutes 3 hours ago? My husband said to cancel the order and the woman was a complete witch to him and was as rude as she could be. We cannot even flush a toilet... How can we wait until tomorrow? They are a shady company who is big on false advertising and I suggest you stay as far away from them as you can!
