I recently made a purchase on Midwest Sports website and I must say, I was not impressed with their customer service. I ordered a tennis racquet and when it arrived, I realized that it was not the right fit for me. I returned it the very next day, but to my surprise, I only received 74% of the price back. Apparently, they considered it used because I had opened the box and removed the labels. I was given a Code to use as a gift card for the remaining amount.

I decided to purchase a Babolat racquet instead, and when I entered the Code at checkout, the system accepted it. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that they had charged me the full amount. When I contacted their customer service, they informed me that the Babolat racquet was a MAP item and therefore not eligible for any discounts. I was disappointed, but I decided to use the gift card Code again. To my surprise, the system showed that the Code had a Zero Balance.

I was extremely frustrated with this experience and felt like the company was only interested in taking my money without any valid reason. I would not recommend Midwest Sports to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy online retailer.

I just got my hands on two sets of Wilson Cushion Aire Classic Contour grips for my tennis racquets from Midwest Sports. It was not as pronounced as I expected it to be. My tennis pro told me that Wilson had changed the size of the contour around 18 months ago, but they had gone back to the older, more pronounced contour about 6 months ago. I was a bit disappointed that Midwest Sports did not inform me about this beforehand. It would have saved me the inconvenience and frustration of having to return the item.
