Microsoft Cannot get updates from microsoft on new computer/windows 10

I got a new tower Dec '20, Windows 10. I am getting need to update messages from microsoft daily and I have tried to log in to what would have been the email @live.com every month since hooking the tower up. To date, I have still not been able to do that because I don't know my password. I have not used that email for over 10 years, if I even did use it then.

I have tried having a code sent. Repeatedly, and thought it was not coming through due to the 'net carrier having a spam thing. But today managed to get their help desk to try to help and they went through all of the 'spam' emails and not one single one has ever come through from microsoft. Ever. Even though I have been told 'one will be sent if we verify' over and over.

I have message microsoft on fb, spent all weekend going back and forth trying to get help with no results. Given an email by them that starts with the @ symbol only. Been given links that have nothing there.

Finally went and found 'support' and got robo thing that asks questions and they could not help me either. Then got sent to an online 'support' that was full of all sorts of tech talk but not one bit that I could understand, or would work when I did grasp it.

Finally got to another site to try to get my account opened back up, and no place to inform them I do not know my password from 10 years ago nor did I have any idea who I might have e-mailed nor did I know what might have been in the subject line either. They sent a code but of course since I don't know anything? They said couldn't verify my account.

I requested another code and this time there was a security question that I did answer. So will see. But doubt this will do a darn thing either.

Multi billion dollar company and their customer service pretty much is worthless. This should have been an easy fix.

Desired outcome: I want someone to do something to get my account back so I can get the updates they keep yelling about..

Microsoft Office business standard

Purchased Business Standard in March, but installing hit a problem due to having a personal account. I could not use the same phone number. Now my personal account is over and I have a product that I can't get into and online support sends me in a loop and calling just tells me to put my phone in and try again. Do I uninstall everything and try again. And if so will I be told that product key was used already and so buy another one? Or will I be told now you can put in 3 other computers? Been trying to find the answer for 5 hours and my business is going suffer if not fixed by Monday. I at a point I want to slam head against the wall until it cracks open. I NEED HELP.

Microsoft WEB Site

The bias news information you show each time I open your site is so fictitious that it must be treated as Un-American Propaganda. If there is one true American working for your fake operation, I challenge them to open your site and not find something (every time) in favor of Biden and his traitor administration versus the usual negative jargon about Trump's?
80 Million people (after all the election audits are in, that number will be close) loved what Trump was doing for AMERICA and we all know we were cheated out of this election.
Like all the fake news and Un-American publications, I'm sure you'll ignore this complaint; but remember, there's only one United States of America.

Desired outcome: Logical, honest response.

Microsoft Office 365

Unfortunately, my issue stated in the last couple of weeks and it involves verification when I forget or have to change a password. Communications from your customer service group is not getting to my telephone number
[protected] or my email address, [protected]@gmail.com.

Last week the same thing occurred when the customer service group sent bogus verification codes and I have collected all of the emails from the Microsoft Management Team in sequence. Coincidentally, I met some Microsoft officials out in Chicago when the office was in Chicago.

I can not understand why the management style of the present customer service group operating now is so different from the real Microsoft officials that I met in Chicago. I suggest that communications between the customer service group and office 365 customers be monitored for consistency .

Within the last two weeks I have received at least four bogus verification codes sent to me by customer service. Why is Microsoft hiring individuals who are not computer literate? email [protected]@gmail.com. phone [protected]

Desired outcome: Stop asking me for verification every two or three days. The procedurre used now will cause errors from your customers.

Microsoft Surface

I requested a replacement for my miscrosoft surface since it was under guarantee and I had paid for its protection. I received the surface on the 10th and returned it on the 18th of April. I was charged for it even though I retuned it before their 15 day deadline. I was credited the money and now every time I call because they place the money on hold on my account they tell me it will be resolved in 24 hours due to a systems glitch.
I have had three promises of resolution only to find out that after they resolve it they immediately place a hold for the same amount on my bank account. This has occurred three times and every time I call them I had do so multiple time because they hang up on me

Desired outcome: Stop placing a hold on my account.

Microsoft Mega poker/texas holdem

Playing poker, had 42M M lost 20M chips reupped with 11M chips I increased my chips at that table to 30M chips. myself and two other players were left at the table so I switched to a fuller table where I bought in with 30M chips. I won several hands and had over 50M chips in my bank so I quit the game, and signed out, I logged on to play three days later, and was told that I did not have enough chips to play at that table. I checked my bank and all I had was 1.500.00 chips, How is it possible for my account to be emptied? I should have had at least 60 or 70M chips in my account. I wish I could be exact but it was late and I just logged off for the night, I knew that I was ahead for the night
.

Desired outcome: I want to get my chips back

Microsoft Solitaire

I am outraged at the new "game" on solitare in which a small puppy is trapped in a sewer with a shark about to attack. The puppy wimpers as the "game" fails. This is totally unacceptable to use illustrations such as this in a game format. Basically killing the puppy. I demand that this "game" be removed at once or the graphics changed. I am on level 846 so I have been playing for years and have been subjected to the ads for games. But by far this is the most outrageous "game". I refuse to play and have shut down solitare because of this.

Desired outcome: Removal of this "game" of drowning the puppy

Microsoft Solitaire

I just saw a new advertisement for a game on solitare. It is a small dog who is trapped in a sewer with a shark threatening to eat the dog. I am outraged that this type of violent behavior against an animal is acceptable in a game format. I demand that this advertisement be removed immediately. No animal or person should be a game piece to be shown to be injured or hurt. What are you thinking? Even the small whine of the distressed dog is unacceptable. I am so upset with this ad, I can hardly type. I expect this "game" to be removed immediately,.

Desired outcome: Removal of the game involving a dog being trapped in a sewer and being threatened by a shark.

Microsoft Support [Case #:[protected]]

Your Outlook service is useless.

My original Microsoft request was to help me recover my send/receive emails through Outlook which stopped 10 days ago. Your tech tried to help with a remote screen grab and couldn't fix it so he helped me connect to Outlook to fix it. (The original tech was very good and helpful.)

Outlook techs have been a disaster. I have been dealing with them for 8 days. One reply by email every 24 hours is how they answer me. Their answer today, doesn't even make any sense. I can't get emails through Outlook which is why I am leaving Outlook at the end of this month and not renewing. All answers from them have been vague or unhelpful or confusing. That's not help.

Microsoft Windows

I have been using Microsoft Windows for many years. Now when I have a problem I cannot get phone support-because you decided to stop it awhile back. But I have found "chat support" is not very good either. I was just told I was 10th in line to talk to a person. I do not understand why your service is so shoddy-especially when your competitors like Charter Spectrum keep getting better and better. I would request a phone call to talk with an agent. My number is [protected]. I know by providing this number it will probably get "intercepted" by a scammer which I don't understand either-Your services should be more secure.

Desired outcome: A Phone call with an authentic Microsoft Agent.

Microsoft Locking Microsoft Account

I pay $83.00 annually for more than 7 years to Microsoft for use of Office 365. In turn, Microsoft provides Office 365, and Outlook Mail. I have had the email address in Outlook mail of kristen.[protected]@live.com for more than 15 years. Every business contact I have made as a freelance copywriter and Ecommerce developer is in this account. I cannot work without access to this email account.

On March 3/26/21, I logged into my Microsoft Account and changed the phone number listed [protected] which is my homeland line, to my cell number [protected]. I did this for security reasons, realizing that if I needed to receive a text from Microsoft in the future, they would need a phone number that can receive a text message. When I did this Microsoft gave me a message saying the change might take up to 30 days, but my email access would not be affected. The next morning when I logged in, I was locked out of my account.

At the lockout sign-in, Microsoft told me to fill out a verify form. I did. The form asks for basic info, an alternate email account, for you to list 4 recent emails you sent from memory and to remember 4 subject line messages. I filled all of this out. I received a rejection saying I was not myself. I filled out the form now 4 times, each time receiving rejections.

I contacted Microsoft customer service on 3/37/21, and had lengthy, very lengthy conversations with them trying to unlock my email account. Both times I was told I had to wait 30 days. Both times the customer service representative told me my security was important. In both conversations I asked them to simply change the account back to the old phone number. They said no. I asked them to call me on both phone numbers to verify I was the same person. They said no. I have two open tickets for this matter.

My Microsoft open tickets are as follows:
#[protected]
#[protected]

1.As of now, I must sit without access to my paid subscription email for 30 days.
2.Representatives that I spoke with at Microsoft cannot tell me tell me what happens in 30 days. Microsoft has given me no written notice to their policy. In fact, they use an automated message to tell me I will have access to my email during a 30 day wait period to change my account phone number.
3. I pay Microsoft to use this email as part of my annual Office 365 subscription. However, since I am locked out of my Microsoft account, I am unable to cancel the upcoming auto renewal on my Microsoft Account. That seems convenient for Microsoft does it not?
4. Is locking a businessperson out of their paid subscription to Office 365 like a ransom ware? It feels like that to me.

If any logic is applied to this matter at all, people across the state of Minnesota subscribe to Microsoft Office 365. And of those people many will get updated phone numbers and want or need to change them within their banking, credit, and business. If a Corporation like Microsoft makes policy that results in changing a contact number and informing the consumer it will not affect their Outlook Mail, and then locks them out of their mail, that is fraud

Desired outcome: Unlock my email ASAP

Microsoft No resolution to request for domain defederation

I have been on the phone to tech support for multiple hours over the past 2 weeks. I am trying to defederate a domain with microsoft so ci can have it at godaddy. It has supposedly been escalated twice now with a promise of a call back that day. I NEVER GET A CALL BACK AND IT IS HURTING MY BUSINESS! I need this problem resolved NOW! My original case number was 2447190. Please get back to me with a SUPERVISOR! .

Whenever I call and give my case number I have to go through the whole story all over again. Do they not keep detailed notes of each call and promise they make?

From what I have been told thus far the issue is that another person claimed my domain by accident (Kim cullum at C3goatranch.com. she was a franchisee and did not mean to do this. She has not been a franchisee for 2 years now. I cannot use microsoft 365 which I purchased through godaddy quite awhile ago

Desired outcome: FIX THE ISSUE NOW!

Unfortunately, Microsoft, in a desire to collect information and extract money from casual users of "Word", makes downloading and printing a Word document virtually impossible without subscribing to their service.
Congratulations Microsoft, you have discovered a great way of assuring the failure of Word. I use Google Drive and Google Documents or Open Office (free services) for all my documents.
I have requested that all my professional service providers send documents in PDF or Google format.
I pay the bills, so they will comply!

Microsoft Non delivery of laptop paid for

Order [protected]
Case number [protected]

Ordered a Surface book 3 laptop on the 30th January which came to £3, 434.95 with an essentials bundle for my company. It was important because my old laptop was too slow and I was dependent on being able to work from home to earn money. Microsoft despatched this on the 1st February and took payment. I was told via email to expect delivery on the 3rd February. The essentials part of the bundle was delivered on the 3rd February but not the laptop. The delivery of the laptop was rescheduled a further 9 times. The delivery driver turned up with the laptop 10 days after payment had been taken. He then told me the system had rejected the delivery and that I could not have it and was returning it to the warehouse.

I phoned Microsoft support on the 10th Feb to find out why the laptop could not be delivered. They contacted the delivery company UPS and they said there had been a request to redeliver the laptop which coincides with me ringing them 4 days before to ask for assurances they would deliver my laptop. I then requested that I would like a refund because I had no confidence of getting the item redelivered any time soon. I need this laptop for my business and I need to get another one ordered from a company that can deliver it. I asked about their complaints process to be told there wasn't one.

I am now being held hostage with Microsoft because they are not willing to give me a refund until UPS has delivered the item back into their warehouse and then the system will take a further 7 days. I do not see why I have to wait so long as I never received what I had paid for. I also paid extra for leads, earphones and software that I cannot use. I still want to order the same laptop but cannot do this until I have been refunded.

Desired outcome: I just want a refund quickly so I can buy the laptop I need. Ironically I want the same laptop. They were unable to provide the product.

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft has suspended my long standing '[protected]@hotmail.com' email account due to (supposed) violation of their services agreement. This has been a much used account, linking all of my multiple computer/phone devices, for a long time & as such, this suspension is having a considerable detrimental affect on my day to day online activities, with the loss of access to the numerous emails sent to this email address over the years. I have repeatedly tried to contact Microsoft to dispute any such violation, having never had any issues over the many years I have had this account, whilst not changing my online habits at all. All I get in response is the exact same violation message but with none of the requested further information as to the exact violation.

Desired outcome: Exact details as to the supposed violation so as to give me something with which to work with to disprove it. Ultimately, the reinstatement of this email address.
