McDonald's rude to workers and customers

I was at mcdonalds in rolesville nc 27571 on the morning of september 5, 2010. The managers there are so rude to the employees and customers, i asked a question about exchanging a large drink to an ex large drink and she just looked back at me and said its not possible and rolled eyes as if she didnt want to deal with it. I found out by an cashier that it was possible and they nicely charged me a couple of cents for it. There are alot of spanish workers there that do not know how to speak english well they talk to you and shake their heads nd agree to everything they are very inpatient with the customers. I would like for something to be done about the managers or i will take my money some where else if i have to deal with them again.

well it depends you have too file a complaint too the MaxFood's building; MaxFood is the mcdonalds big cheese btw; and ask for the manager by name (which is easy she has a name tag) and have one of the employees for a back-up statement inwhich Maxfood will either force the manager too act more mature or she's fired.

McDonald's service/employees

I am not a racist person by any means. I realize Mcdonald's is changing to meet the needs of a diverse customer base.

But, by God, the employees should speak English. I am getting fed up with going into McDonald's and listening to employees hollar back and forth to each other in Spanish. This is not Mexico.

I ordered in English, so I know darn well at least the cashier can speak English. If the cook or someone else can't speak English, they have no business working in this country

About all the things you can complain about in this world, this definitely marks you as a person of intolerance. Does it matter if they can take your order in english? yes, and they did, so no complaint there. Does it matter how they speak to each other in the back as long as your order comes out correct? no, it does not matter. Start concentrating on real issues that affect you instead of forcibly propagating your flawed world view.
Remember, this is a nation of free speech and you should be willing to fight for that freedom.

McDonald's wrongful termination

i got a friend that i see everyday that works at this mcdonalds location in Newton MS. i been there many times and saw that this young lady is been harrassed by the daytime manager saying he is going to fire her over a woman that calls and makes fake stories about this young woman to get her fired. its all because this woman has been phone harrassing her at her home. the young lady has brought proof to show that she has won the case over the woman for harrasment, , but this woman keeps calling the young ladies work even when she isn't working those days and still telling fake stories to get the young one fired. one day the woman called and said her name and told that the young lady had put charges on her for this and had her arrested and wanted McDonalds to fire her now. the thing is that McDONALDS CAN'T fire over fake stories, they can be sued for this. but the day manager keeps harrassing the young lady and is going to fire her anyways. i was there during the trial and saw that the woman was convicted of phone harrassment. the day manager claims to like the woman and is a friend of the woman. McDonalds is the worse place too have employment at. when this young lady takes McDonalds to court for this, i will definitly be there to help the young lady out as a witness to these actions of this day manager. also the day manager is doing sexual harrassment on another employee. i am definitly going to McDONALDS site and give a complaint about this also. its time we all teach this company how to treat their employees.

McDonald's smoothie coupons

I had received a coupon from the McDonald's website stating thatI could get $1 off ANY SIZE smoothie or Mccafe product. I orderd a large wild berry smoothie only to be told by the rude cashier that the coupon could only be used on small size products when the coupon clearly stated ANY SIZE. I told her to cancel the order and I left. That is the worst McDonald's ever, they never get any order correct and they are always rude.

McDonald's crew not wearing gloves in grill area and sandwich area

Member of the crew at store # 29900 was not wearing gloves while preparing cooked food this consisted of touching poultry dairy and vegitable items while doing this continued to wipe hands on clothing . When I asked the manager about it she said that they were not required to do so. My husband who is a culinary arts major and servsafe certified says this is cross-contamination. because the crew member was wiping hands on clothing while touching food that would not be cooked again.

McDonald's nasty customer service

I thought I had been through all of the scenarios, going through drive throughs and being "shorted" on orders. This morning, the McDonalds I have frequented was staffed with a new crew, but they couldn't get any orders correct! I asked for an order of hashbrowns, they gave me ONE, lone hasbrown! I stopped and called them and asked for the manager. She sounded like she had marbles in her mouth and when I told her of the mistake, she asked my name and hung up; no further apology. I drove back, walked inside and observed several customers, like myself, who had been "shorted" and missing items they had paid for!
It was a zoo! Anyway, when I stepped up and told the cashier my name and came to get my ORDER of hashbrowns? She yelled "Hey Sharlay! You got that hashbrown? The lady be here.' I watched her walk over to the bin, grab a sack and she gave it to me without a word of apology. When I looked inside there was--you guessed it--ONE LONE hashbrown! LOL
Any other time or place, I have gotten a complete order, for mistakes. It is not worth messing with loyal customers, by making them drive back for YOUR stupid mistake, only to be stingy! Roy Calla is the owner of this frachise, I will be giving him a call about this tacky behavior. I know I am not the only customer whose time was WASTED and no APOLOGY. Learn to read your own menu.

McDonald's wrong order

I have been a loyal McDonalds customer for many years. I have been to many different locations, usually I get what I order. I can even understand that occasionally my order might get mixed up especially at some verry bussy locations. However the McDonalds at 3611 - 17 Ave. SW, Calgary, Alberta has not given me my correct order in literally 10 years. In fact even though it is the closest McDonalds to my house, I have been diving out of my way to a different location everytime i wanted their food for the last 2 years because i do not like dealing with incompotence. The reason I finally stopped going to this location was that instead of going through the drive thru I went inside and as I put in my order I told the cashier and the mannager that they never get my order right, it was a bit of a lage order 4 adult meals and 3 happy meals for my friends kids. My friend and Iwatched them put the order together and as all appeared to be there we paid and left. The kids were all so happy to get a happy meal each but when each of them discovered that they all got ripped off on the toys they almost cried over it. I called and complained and was told to go back to the location and get the toys which is fine however no apalogy and it was a half hour drive from my friends place so I simply told them that i was not going back there anymore. Today i had a craving for an angus burger and I was pressed for time so I decided that after 2 years i would try this location again. I went to the drive thru and as i got my order I simly checked the number of burgers in the bag. I arrived home, unpacked my food and discovered that the burger at the bottom of the bag was not an angus but a chicken sanwich. I called to complain and was told that my next meal was free but no actual apalogy. I then replied that i do not want a free meal from them as it would probably be the wrong order anyway and I informed them that I will not set foot in that location ever again and that I would discourage others from going to that location. If you live in Calgary please avoid the McDonalds at 3611 - 17 Ave. SW as it seems to be staffed by incompotent idiots.

Use to the special orders were the screw ups not this time..Around dinner time we stopped at McDonalds to pick up three burgers and three chicken sandwiches..the first burger was a regular burger with ketchup only, the second was a double cheeseburger with mustard only and the third was a double cheese burger with no changes at all..plus we asked for three chicken sandwiches plain and a large order of fries..well, we got the burger with ketchup only as well as the three plain chicken sandwiches and the large fries..however one double cheeseburger had the requested mustard, but the not wanted onions..I told my Baby I would just give her my onions..but then I noticed her double cheeseburger was missing completely..so she parked the car (we are over getting cheated out of food we pay for) and went inside...the first thing the Guy behind the counter said was "what, wasn't the special orders right?" my Baby said "one was wrong it had onions, but I'm going to get those, I'm in here coz you forgot my regular double cheeseburger completely..his response "oh" no I'm sorry nothing...he merely grabbed the forgotten cheeseburger and dropped it on the counter then he turned his back on her and went on with his conversation! I should add there was no one at the counter waiting to order and barely anyone eating in the dining room the drive through had two cars behind us and one by that time had already pulled around us and someone was heading inside the door, the second car pulled around us and also parked..(that McDonalds is known for horrible service and rude employees) so they were not swamped when they got our order (and it would seem the other orders were wrong as well) just lazy!

I went to Mcdonals drive through in Spring Valley, Illinois. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nuget and a snack wrap. When I recieved my order, I recieved 4 double cheese burgers kechup only. I was assured that this was my order, so I let. I am never going to McDonalds again and I hope that they soon run out of bussiness, and therefore go bankrupt.

I went to McDonalds and ordered a 10 piece chicken nuggets and a snack wrap. When I recieved my order in it was 4 double cheeseburgers. I was assured that this was my order, I don't like being called a liar so I left. I think that I deserve my money back, and I will not go to another McDonalds until they do. This has happened to me many times. I hope McDonalds does not sell anther thing.

I have to complain about Lidcome's maccas as well, ordered a big mac and when i got home and opened it, the all three buns were flipped the wrong way and the coke was a quarter full, I mean its a "small" thing, but their management under-go's months of training after his purchased the franchise, There shouldnt even be any faults, at least Teach your staff How to fill orders properly, its so minor you cant possibly get it wrong without the effort to purposely make them go wrong.

I don't blame you. I work at a McDonald's and I think it's common sense to make sure you get some meat on there. Next time your order is wrong call the store and have them write your name down in a notebook, then you'll get what they got wrong for free the next time you go in. There are also ways to get out of a McDonald's quicker instead of waiting forever for your food. If you're interested, copy the link below and paste it into a new browser tab:

I would say this is a little excessive, mistakes happen.

It would be start to open a bag when it is handed to you to make sure that that is what you need as well.

McDonald's saving food cost is costly

I don't know why the McDonald's chain has decided massively that people should pay extra for a packet of dipping sauce, but it's really on my last nerve. I understand that alot of people (including me) like dipping their fries in the sauces and it gets costly. I worked as an assistant manager for the company for 3 years and a crew member for 2 years. I guess that is what really ticks me off, I was trained to give a set amount of sauces or ketchup packets or napkins per items ordered, and if the customer requested extra, you give it to them with "how many would you like?" not "I'll have to charge you for those." What really irritates me is they have changed the "default" amount of sauces one receives with a nugget order. Did you know they want you to only use one sauce packet per 5 nuggets? That is impossible for my children. It's more like one nugget per sauce.
As a member of the McDonald's family, we were taught that you get 2 sauces for a 6 pc, 3 for a 9 piece, and 5 for a 20 piece... now you get one sauce.. one per every 5 nuggets you order. rediculous.
I went through the drive-thru at our local McDonald's the other day and practically had to threaten to call corporate on their ### if I didn't get my sauces. I ordered 2 10 pc. nuggets for my kids and I to share, let's see? hmmm? 3 people sharing nuggets, you only want to give me 2 sauce packets? I don't think so. I told the woman who took my order that I wanted honey and BBQ sauce with my nuggets and when she rang in the order she put in 1 of each. common sense would tell the drive-thru presenter that even though the screen says 1 of each, it should be at least 2 of each sauce, since there were TWO 10 piece nuggets, right? Well, apparently not so. You see, when I pulled up to get my food and they handed me my bag, I sat in the drive thru before I left (as I always have problems in the summer going through McDonald's drive thru) and I dbl checked my order. There they were.. one honey packet (btw 2 honeys are commonly given out as 1 because of their smaller size) and one BBQ. When the guy in the drive thru saw that I still hadn't left, he opened the window and asked what else I needed. I politely told him I had been shorted the correct number of sauces and would he mind to get a me some more. ---- All of a sudden he switched to ### mode and preceeded to argue with me. "It says one of each on the screen and I put one of each in there" I told him that I was sorry, but I need 2 of each. He then says, " I will have to charge you for extra" At this point I was hungry and tired of the nit-pickyness of the "food-cost cutting tactics" and I stopped being nice. I told him I didn't care what the screen said, grabbed out my 2 sauce packets and held them in my hand and demanded at least 2 more sauces... he then shut the window trying to ignore me. Did I move? heck no... let him run up those precious drive thru times over a couple of sauces, do I care? NOPE! Finally, another woman came to see what was up and I explained to her the problem, she tried then to give me schpeel about how you only get 1 sauce for every 5... and then in my smart-assest pitch.. I said "GREAT! then give me my other 2 sauces or give me my money back so I can go to Burger King!" she handed me the sauces and I drove off!
Seriously, was that worth everyones time? I really don't think so. "the customer is always right" has gone straight down the septic tank. Do they really think that trying to charge people 25 cents for a packet that costs them 10 cents is making customers happy? Is arguing over sauces or arguing period with a customer going to bring in the customers? I learned in management school that a bad experience at a restaraunt hurts more than a good experience helps. you see? when someone has a bad experience they go tell 20 people or so how horrible it was, if its a good one.. you're lucky if they tell anyone that they even went. It's assumed that all experiences should be good ones so it's not even worth telling. It just keeps getting worse and worse.

McDonald's size

today I bought a filet o fish and was shocked when I opened the box to see a sandwich smaller than a White castle, I'm a 250 lbs man and to pay for something that not even a child would get full with, its an insult. a 3 year old would have to eat at least 4 of these things to get full, and this is supposed to be an adult meal. well I'm very angry at this franchise because they are robbing me and all the people that attend these restaurants, and I havent even mentioned the countless times I whent through the drive through and was given the order incomplete. but guess what? always in their favor, I'm always missing an applepie, the fries, the sauces mac nuggets are not complete etc. I have never got an extra anything, so what does that tell me? They do it on pourpose. I've decided not to buy from them ever again.

McDonald's worst service and the girl was on something

I went through the drive through about 2:30 pm today, Tues. August 17, 2010. The girl at the first window made me sit there, trying to pay her for at least 5 minutes. I eventually just put it in park and turned off the car. Finally another girl came and took my money, but before that, another girl at the 2nd window was looking out wondering where the next car was. Then, when I finally got to the 2nd window for my sons plain cheeseburger happy meal, which by the way was fixed wrong, the girl at the window was TOTALLY blown away! Her eyes looked almost closed and extremely blood shot and then she tried to talk. Her tongue was so thick that she couldn't hardly speak. This was the worse service I have ever experienced!

McDonald's very poor service`

Upon traveling 2 weekends in a row we stopped at both of these McDonald Restaurants locations and experienced the absolute worst service every recieved. Both drive-thru and indoor service was pittyful. They were so slow for a so called "fast food" restaurant that you have lost my entire family as customers. The hot items were recieved cold and the cold items such as a frappe was warm and melted. When they didn't have items such as cherry pies they just kept pushing my slip to the side and never asked if I wanted apple instead or how they were going to resolve this situation. I personally asked why I was being looked over for so long and they said they didn't have cherry pies so I'm the one suggesting I would take apple in it's place. Your chain restuarants have been going constantly downhill. Even the managers seemed ### and did nothing to resolve the poor conditions. There are so many other burger joints that I don't have to go to your establishments and be treated in this matter. I suggest you work hard to resolve this problem before you find yourself with fewer and fewer customers. If you should need to discuss this further my phone is [protected] and my addree is 2062 The Circle, Washington, PA 15301. It's a shame it has to be this way, but much of the blame lies with the employers attitudes. As companies cut back furthur on their work force all the time to keep their profit margin as high as ever, they expect less employees to do more at times for even less compensation than before. And telling them "you should just be glad you have a job" is not going to motivate them to do better, actually it results in just the opposite, an uncaring, even vengeful employee who will willfully get orders wrong, slow down the process etc. and before anyone comments well they should just fire them, thimk about the way these employees are treated by ### hat managers who know nothing other than what they"learned" at some university business course. First learn the job and what these employees put up with, then learn human nature. Treat people with respect and appreciation and for the most part they will do whatever they can for you.

Kathy Hoorah! Totally agree that 90% of Mc Donalds chain stores, no longer care about their service, employees they train, which leaves it all to poor management. I was traveling down south starting out in New York ordered breakfast value meals, got on the thruway, "no cheese on breakfast sandwiches", but they charged, no cream in coffees, no straws or napkins. Chalk it up to "not holding the traffic line up to check our order. Okay, now in Southern P.A for lunch, our order got all messed up, fries were cold, sandwiches no sauce, drinks messed up, oh...but, don't hold the line up in drive thru. Well, our evening stop at the drive thru in North Carolina, we stayed at the window to check our order, SURE ENOUGH, "MESSED UP"...SORRY, WE HELD THE LINE UP FOR TWENTY MINUTES. We recieved a great education for those we held up, cuss words, middle fingers flying, BUT, WE HAD HOPED THEIR ORDERS WERE CORRECT AND THEY WERE ALL SATISFIED WITH THEIR MEALS. KEEP UP THE GOOD REPUTATION MC DONALDS, WENDYS AND BURGER KING WILL BE HAPPY CAMPERS. RONALD WILL HAVE TO GET A JOB.

McDonald's rude service

Due to my kids, we go to your store frequently. But this time I was very very dissappointed. I bought 2 No.7 trios, 1 mini mac and 2 snack wrap. The amount should be "(5.99*2 + 1.99 + 1.99 +1.99)+tx = 17.95+tx = 20.26$. But the bill was 20.72$. I asked their manager, he told me that computer would always be right and never made mistake. When I third time told him they charge me 40 cents more. He said OK! that's only 40cents problem. I said I want to order another same meal, 2 No.7 Trio plus 3 snack warps, how much? This time their magic computer shown 20.26$. The manager just threw 40cent(not 46cents) unpatiently on the table and left, without any word of apologize. I am very angry with their atitude. I don't think it is a good think for your business.
I still have my original bill (No. [protected]).

After my daughter drinked the mild, she vomitted. she told me the milk was tasted too bad, disgusting. I tasted again. My daught was right . I brought back to the staff. Tell them your milk was not good. Asked two apple juices. At beginning the staff didn't want to give me two drinks. I told her the two chldren were sitting there waiting for me. She asked me to bring two milks back. I said please gave me two apple juice, I will give you another milk back. we are very close two the shop. After I argued with her, she was very unhappy to give me the apple juice. when I brought another milk back, the guy talked to me, he said he was the manager. I let him to have a look the table, and two children. It was all because of your food. and he was not polite. I didn't tell a lie. He didn't come to see what happend there just 2metre away from the shop. He didn't say anything to me. Make me so upset, It is just after chritmas. I was deeply hurted by them.

"that is gross, no one cares to see your kids vomit"

Speak for yourself.

seriously though if they wanted to return the chocolate milk because it was bad she should have brought the milks back, otherwise they will think she was trying for a free drink.

I am very 'glad' that someone who has never met me nor engaged in conversation via email or forum feels free to judge my personality based on my reluctance to see another person's vomit. I had no idea that mentioning that posting pictures of vomit on this forum was disgusting was whiny. I will censor myself in future.

In all seriousness, be an adult; stop being so combative and immature. Anyway, I would much prefer to be part of the punctuation and spelling police. :-)

I am not the only person who thinks it is "gross" to post pictures of vomit; see the first post. I posted my opinion and that is all.

It is not appropriate to post pictures of VOMIT. I actually believe that the OP's story happened, but saw no need at all for a picture of vomit.

I cannot comment on the bad service as I am too disgusted by the picture of vomit. Why did you need to post that?

McDonald's rude employee

Today I went to McDonald's to get my whole family dinner and no one else wanted to go with me.I work at a fast food restaurant and I know how frustrating it is when people have huge orders in drive throughs so I went inside to order.I ordered two #3's all with Coke, a #1 with a Dr. Pepper, two McDouble's, two McChickens, two large fries, 2 XL Coke's and two large Oreo McFlurry's.

I expected it to take a while to receive since it was a big order.I got the order sooner than I thought I would but there were no McChickens and only one large fry.I went up to the employee and kindly told her the situation and she said "Ha yeah right, just go home!"I told her again the situation and she just stared at me like I was crazy.I asked to speak to the manager and she got the manager for me.

It took a while for the manager to come out because the employee I guess told her that I called her a ### and that she should go to hell. The manager said "Hello ma'am please don't talk to our employees that way!"I explained to her what happened and how I had missing items and she goes "Well still please don't talk to an employee like that!"I told her I didn't say anything to her except that I had items missing.

The employee started yelling at me from behind the counter and calling me names. The manager is just standing there giving me a dirty look and letting her employee talk to a customer like that.I got really mad and raised my voice saying "I want the items that I am missing and I want them now!I have been nothing but polite here."

The employee took someone else's order and the manager didn't do anything about it.I just walked off and went to another McDonald's to get another large fry and two McChickens and I told the cashier who was the manager what happened at the last one and she said "Yes ma'am that McDonald's is really messed up."Then she gave me all of it for free including the other stuff I ordered from the previous one because it was getting cold.

I won't be going back to that McDonald's ever again and stick to the one I went to afterwards!

even if you wanted to, you had a right to order it at the drive thru. There are plenty of people with huge orders...its not that big of a deal. Yes call corporate, though they probably won't do anything about it since no one does but at least get a refund. Mcdonalds always employs classless idiots and jerks...

McDonald's order

My wife and I went to mcdonalds this morning to purchase a strawberry and banana smoothie. The clerk behind the counter handed us a yellowish drink with a red tint to it. After some debate she ensured that it was in fact the proper item. Upon arriving at work i tasted the product only to be unpleasantly greeted by the awful tart taste of lemonade with some strawberry floating at the bottom. I've gotten a Strawberry Banana Smoothie many times before and I am fully aware of the way they look and taste. I present a picture of a REAL Strawberry Banana Smoothie in figure. See if you can tell the difference. To think these clerks don't even know their own product. What does that say about management.

What about the customer who would leave the store with the wrong product and not know the difference. I think I would have been able to tell just by the color it was the wrong thing. Don't You Think!

McDonald's Poor service and no acknowlegdement

To whom ever this may concern : July 28, 2010
Time: 11:11

I go to McDonalds on all most daily for French vanilla Iced coffees. I went in to the store spoke clearly to the cash tender telling her what I would like and also if they would make them a certain way. I asked for 3 and got 2. The Manager asked if I would like for him to ring up another one. I found that to be the most insulting, after I had asked for three in the beginning. I will say this I will never go back their i would rather spend my money where it is glady appreciated. This is the 561 Plantaion Dr store in Middleburg, FL 32068.

McDonald's food and service

I am a vegetarian due to religious and emotional beliefs, and my and my friends consider Mcdonalds to be a treat, so we decided to pay a visit to the Evesham branch of Mcdonalds. I ordered a Spicy Veggie Deli meal. They served me and I sat down to enjoy my meal. I took a few bites, thinking it tasted rather strange, so I asked my friends what they thought. It turns out, they had served me Chicken. I was, obviously, very distressed so we went to complain. They did not even give me and apology, then, when I asked for a refund, the manager said she couldn't give me one. They were not treating us with respect, and we belive this is because of our age, as I am only 15 years old. I was extremely angry and carried on asking until she gave me a refund, when they didn't even refund me for the whole meal. I am extremely angry and upset as this will also lead to physical implications. Me and my friends vow to never visit Mcdonalds again and we will be writing to head office.

I noticed Mickey D's has a habit of closing the local branch 15 minutes ahead of the actual scheduled closing time (11pm). This same branch also switches the apple turnover order for cherry when it gets near closing time and they probably have a lot of cherry flavored pies leftover. They also shut down the milk shake machine early too. On one sandwich I bought, you could see the cheese slice sticking out of the edge. Upon closer inspection when opening the bun, one finds there is only half a slice. Seems they think they can get over at the drive through with little tricks like this. I might add that this same branch is the only one I had ever gotten sick on more then one occasion. Needless to say, I dont go there anymore. Old US30 and Hilcrest Dr in Wooster, OH.

I believe the Evesham Mcdonalds is one of the worst in the country. You only have to look at what they pay their staff ( minimum wage and/or 5 pence over) and the extremely hot and busy working conditions there to see how unloyal and unfair the franchise is...
It is not even run by McDonalds - therefore it doesn't follow all their standards. As a franchise, they create their own rules which differ somewhat to McDonalds' Restaurants as a company..

McDonald's parking charge notice

Received a parking charge notice from MET Parking services of £50.00 when parked in McDonalds car park in which I was using their facilities, I met up with my mother and daughter in which I had not seen for a very long time so thought that time eating in a restaurant would not be restricted to how long we were in there having a bite to eat. I never left the premises in the 109 minutes I was there and feel that this notice should of not been given. Can I point out I live in Dorking Surrey so Middlesex is very new to me so not knowing the area I did not realize there was a time limit you could park there.

I hope you can help me out with this matter and look forward to your reply

Kind regards,
