My name is Marianne Schembri. Email is marianne. [protected]@hotmail.com. I renewed my total protection On Dec 21, 2021 for 2yrs. My expiry date is Jan 2022 and the next expiry is 2024. My profile still shows at risk, no active subscription. Yesterday Jan 6th I called to try and have this corrected. I was kept on the phone from 9a.m. to 12. p.m. I was transferred from Columbia to India to Phillipines to India again and to India one more time. I spoke to a Maria who took care of the pricing mistake. She then transferred me to Raghul who spent a long time downloading the program. Then he sent me back to billing (Marylyn) who would not do anything and sent me back to Raghul. He tried again and got help from a senior employee and they both decided that this has to be fixed by billing, so they sent me back to billing (Dinesh). Billing in turn sent me an email. I asked Dinesh to help me. He was very condescending which after 3 hrs on the phone sent me over the edge. I am 73 yrs old and he spoke to me like I was a little girl. He said he would help me but also said he could not see the email. This felt strange. I got very upset, said good bye and hung up. I followed the email by myself, but my profile still shows no active subscription. This is unacceptable customer service. I need to have this fixed. I have had a subscription for about 6 yrs and this is the 1st time that I had to download everything from scratch. I downloaded the app 14 times

The plan I ordred was 1 year special price £16-99 constant-constant interferance on my pc you have charged me £90 for 1 device whichi did not order request refund please I am 76 year old pensioner and cannot afford £90 this is your error could y o u please rectify £16-99 I found out was for parcial clearance of problem full clearance was£40 this was not made clear to me in fact vague full refund please not happy with mcfee

My money for mcafee annual auto renewal (£59.99)was taken a month early, and I have been trying to request a refund for 4 weeks.
I have been promised call backs which have never happened, spent countless hours on their phone line and have got nowhere.
This is unacceptable and something must be done to stop this company taking peoples money and making it impossible to recover it, even though their website says we are entitled to a refund.

I had paid for a 2-year subscription renewal. The money got debited from my account, but the subscription was not renewed. I doubt some problem in the payment process.
I have attached the transaction details in the below image.

you have recently charged me £89.99 for the same product that i renewed and paid for in oct, i have spent over 3 hours trying to contact you vila phone and virtual chat

this is disgraceful customer service for a client of more than 10 years

I have unsuccessful tried to get a response to approx. 15 e mails.

The original order was placed in error for my wife Elizabeth's new laptop. We already use and still use Kaspersky, your system was never used. I tried to cancel many times with NO response.

I have made several complaints however have received no reply - your poor customer service and the emails you keep sending saying you have closed this complaint due to not being able to contact me is a disgrace - I wonder if you do this to everybody so they give up.

you took money from my account without being authorized, you have refunded but I want to make an official complaint and need your complaints procedure - all I keep getting back is emails saying they have tried to contact me but I have had no voice mails my last ref number [protected].

I have purchased the McAfee Total protection wide invoice CS2799591601 purchase date 30 July 2021 with expiry date 30 July 2023, however the product got expired on 13 November 2021 leaving me with no protection

McAfee service team found to very difficult to access and irresponsible when I could talk to them. Those whom I spoke told they understood the problem and redirected me to someone else and every time reaching another automated call exchange with no proper options or response. Long waiting at every call even up to 45 minutes. Lat one week I have spoken to many different personnel in their team every time wasting hours with no resolution yet. Got fed up looking at the unprofessional way this Company handling their customers and with no hope planning to move to some one else.

My wife was going over our credit card statement when she came across a charge from Mcafee. It was a result of auto renew that was activated with a free trial when we purchased my computer. I notified the credit card company to dispute the charge. I was told to contact McAfee and if they refused to refund the payment to call them back to dispute the charge. As of this moment I have been on hold for 36 minutes and 26 seconds. I know that it's a deliberate ploy to wear me down. It won't work. I want my refund. What it has done is to eliminate McAfee from ever providing any services in the future.

I had subscribed to McAfee Antivirus about 10 months ago. A few weeks later I cancelled it because it was having an adverse effect on my computer and iPad. I removed all traces of it from my electronics at that time. Today I found a charge on my PayPal account in the amount of $94.99 for a renewal. What do they find confusing about CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION? I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and cannot afford these companies that play games with past customers finances just to increase their bottom line.

i keep getting e mails to renew my subscription ive put my account on auto renew ive been on to your help line ive paid £39.99 3 times more than i should have done mcfee also owe my nearly £400 pounds from a bank transaction, the helpline promised me a call back within 24 hour i have received no such call you either resolve this situation, ? or ill be cancelling my subscrpition and changing to norton

Was told I would get a refund after cancelling the automatic renewal Within the allotted time. Received a callback and when answered, he did not speak. Then when I ended the call he left a garbled message on my answerphone. So I called the customer service line, waited on hold for 20 minutes and a lady answered and when I mentioned refund she did not speak. I am still on the line to her now and she is not speaking! Then she actually just said ‘there was no response from the customer. I am disconnecting the call' when I was talking to her! I have never dealt anything like this before with any company. I want a copy of the call.

As you know there's a McAfee renewal fraud happening by email. I just got one and wanted to supply you with the sender's email address. I don't know where to forward it so I'll just copy/past it here;

I have a 1year subscription already and needed to renew a weak before. The auto renewal simply chose a higher plan for more money I did not authorise... A completely new package!
Cannot get through to any customer support / telephonically or otherwise and the telephone number in south africa number does not exist?

I know have 2 anti virus running 1 as normal and the second I never authorised but deducted from my bank account...
Shocking cutomer service and very unethical business practice the "bot" does not help completely useless. Where to from here...

I'm sure this isn't your company. However, I received an email "thanking me for my order" for $499.99. I never placed this order. When I called the number in the email [protected], I reached a foreign sounding gentleman who told me I had to fill out a "reimbursement form." At that point, I told him I was reporting them as fraudulent and I hung up. No money has been removed from my accounts, but I wanted you to know.

Why is there no email address for customers that are hard of hearing and do not want to contact Mcafee customer services via telephone. Also why is live chat never responded too. I have waited hours for a response even when linked via a contact service number. Very frustrating company to deal with.

So why do Mcafee charge a loyal customer who's been with them since 2007 £89.99 for 12 months Total Protection when your web site is offering Total Protection for 10 Devices for 2years for £54.99 and £27.49 for 1year.

Plus to make the situation additionally disappointing for loyal customers is that Amazon are offering Total Protection for 1Year for jut £14.99

Also your competitor Norton is offering Norton 360 for two years for 10 devices via Amazon for just £24.99

I called the Helpline noted above. I told the person I talked to and told him I did not have McAfee Total Protection. He said I needed to fill out a cancellation form. I refused to complete the form and decided to call/email the real McAfee. I did call your help line, but your person hung up on me.

I mistakenly took a subscription a year ago and back in October/November followed chat line insgt5ructions how to get it cancelled. However I found that on 5/6 December, a sum of £89.99 had been taken from my account. I have tried chat lines, telephone calls hanging on form over half an hour in every case and then being put through to Technical Support which I did not want. Please can I be refunded the £89.99 that was taken from my account in early December. My complaint concerns the fact that although I thought I had cancelled, this had not been activated and all attempts to contact McAfee have been to no avail, being constantly referred to Technical Support.

Please note that I had no issues with McAfee otherwise and please note also I do NOT need to be referred to Technical Support. All I require is a REFUND.

I activated a small business cover on 30th september 2021
It was automatically cancelled on the 16/11/21
The Mcafee programm started pinging so I called costumer support.
I talked to someone who added cover until 16/12/21 (LiveSafe)
Two week later my LiveSafe started pinging saying my trial was over and I should upgrade.
Called SUpport again and they added protection on SmallBusiness unitl end of 2022.
Issue is I can't activate it as Mcafee thinks it's expired since xx days (days basically count down to end date so three days ago it said expired 23 days ago and today it says expired 20 days ago, when really there are 20 days left.)

Spent hours on the phone trying to fix an issue I didn't cause.

Just want you to fix it, although at this point I don't know that I can trust your costumer support services.

Hello All,
I paid online for a two year subsciption with McAfee on 28th July 2021.
I automatically received a confirmation email from them on the same day.
I have raised the issue with McAfee in UK and France but in vain as they did not accept my proof of purchase (Bank Statement) because it does not mention McAfee but "AntivirusPaid instead". Despite the production of the said document supported with the confirmation email from McAfee, they refused to acknowledge payment of the actual subscription and I have been left with no cover since July!
As I paid via PayPal, I also produced a copy of the payment but also in vain!
They were however kind enough to send me a link to use to restore the paid version but because I exceeded the hour then, I was not able to activate it. I then notified them in order to resend the link but with no success as they ignored my successive emails ever since.

I would be grateful if you could possible resolve the issue before I escalate it any further.

I am enclosing all correspondence to that effect.
