Maytag maytag bravos washer model #mvwx655dw1

After washing a load of clothes washer continues to spin then stops then starts spinning will run forever if I done shut off
I am very disappointed in this product ! Always heard how amazing Maytag product was not too impressed right now
I bought this unit 1 year and 2 months ago . We are a family of 2 so it has not been used that much !
Please help me resolve this problem .
Is there a simple fix for this please let me know

Maytag dishwasher

I've had it 5 months; the electronics have failed twice. I told the service man who installed it that, if they failed after the first time, I want it out of here. I hate it and will not pay for repairs once the warranty expires. It's stupidly designed; the utensil basket on the side requires that I wrestle open the heavy door and drag out the rack to add even a single spoon. The cover on the utensil rack is even more stupid;anyone who has loaded a dishwasher twice will not nest the spoons, or will run them again, next time, with more care. It's impossible to find powdered detergent that doesn't cloud the glasses and now my old plastic measuring cup looks dingy and greasy. I use only a small amount of detergent but there is always detergent residue. The rinse dispenser is impossible to fill; I have rinse everywhere but in the 'cup'. The first time it wouldn't start on 'normal', it did start on 'Power Blast', 4 hours waiting for the *&&^%%$ thing to finish so I could take my shower. It not only didn't wash the plate I'd baked fish on, it baked the grease into the ceramic. I was able to scour off some of it. Later it declined to wash the detergent residue off the grease streaks on a spatula, despite running it 3 times; I wiped it off with a paper towel. One load it left covered with fine grit, probably residue from granola. It failed to start again on Monday, April 23. I want this piece of trash out of here and my money back so I can buy a dishwasher. It will not be a Maytag.

Maytag maytag bravos xl washer

Maytag,
I have had my Bravos xl washer for 5 years and now I have to replace it! It's leaking oil or some fluid due to water leakage on the tumblers or whatever mechanism makes it spin. It has sounded like a jet engine for months while running. My friends had the same thing happen to their exact model and the cost was $600 to fix. No thanks! The repair tech said its common with this model and guess what.. the same thing happened to ours I have a family... so I have to buy a new one now at Lowe's, but I am extremely unhappy with the quality and durability of that machine and would like to be compensated for it. 5 years.. come on. My parents POS lasted 15.

Please respond and I expect to be restituted property to be made whole or I will continue to escalate to the board of directors at your organization along with social media. I am providing you the opportunity to make it right. Honestly, you should provide restitution for all people who purchased this model.

Maytag maytag dryer on push button disconnected and the start switch fell behind the control panel.

Date of Service 4/9/2018. #220250. Maytag Dryer ON push button disconnected and the start switch fell behind the control panel. Clip is fine and the plastic control has no damage. The switch remounted with no issues. The tech from Twin Cities Appliance put some tape under the clip to prevent it from going up. All checks OK and everything is working properly. I was charged for the trip only as there were no parts and very minimal labor. I am not happy that a switch would just fall off, seems to me like my dryer On switch was defective as switches should not just fall off. I purchased a Maytag so I would not have any goofy appliance issues. I am requesting to be reimbursed for the total of the techs trip which is $94.95 please. Maytag washer

I have A Brand New Maytag 4.7 cf High-Efficiency Top Load Washer Model with Powerwash. Model#MVWB766FW.
From the First time I ran a cycle it has made a very loud offensive sound.
Three different technicians have come out, none of which took the time to hear the actual problem sound. All three of their answers were that this machine just makes different noises. On this I agree, it does make different noises, but the noise that I am talking about can be heard from the next room.
I do not think that I should have a loud machine which wakes the baby in the next room, or embarresses me when my machine is running and I have company. Maytag's answer is that there is no protocall to address loud offensive noises. That the machine is operational, therefore I have to just live with a $1000 machine that sounds like it is failing.
I didn't like: Lack of customer service, Lack of ability to resolve the problem.

Maytag dishwasher

My complaint is the maytag company sent us the wrong replacement part.even after a repairman ordered the part, A New upper rack. It is totally wrong configuration.tiger product is so cheaply made it broke within 3 yrs of owning it. I am very disappointed in the quality of maytag products. A service man spent 4 hrs of his day trying to replace the upper rack with no avail.

Maytag centennial washer

Purchased in 2015 for over $600 as the 1st brand new washing machine my wife and I bought since being married for 25 years. Certified repairman cost me $65.00 told me too expensive to fix. Purchased my old washer in 1993 used and lasted 23 years. What I'd like to know is how do you justify a product that was perfected more than 50 years ago, only lasting 3 years. My mom had the same washer for over 40 years. It's amazing how everything now-a-days is made to break.

Resolution: Send me a check for $600.00 for the machine, $70.00 for the cost of taking my laundry out for the past 2 weeks, $65.00 for the repair man and $300 for the aggravation/labor you've caused me. Sad thing is I have too much pride to cash that check because it's not about the money. It's about making a product that you can be proud of and stand behind. Being a high school coach and club director for the past 20 years, I continue to teach my student athletes to not be confused by winning or losing. That's for the simple folks who only watch the match. It's about the pride you attain putting your heart into something you love. If 3 years is all your good for, do yourself a favor, get out of the business of washing machines and find something that gives you sense of accomplishment and not a pocketful of dollars taken from a working class guy like myself.

Good thing I didn't have the money to purchase the Maytag dryer to go with this. Current dryer is 25 years going and was purchased used with the original washer.

Maytag washer doesn't clean clothes

I just purchased a Maytag washer and it doesn't clean the clothes. They come out smelling like they went it. It's being loaded correctly, with the right soap, on the Deep Water Setting, with the Power Wash option, and on the hottest water temp. There are so many reviews echoing this same defectiveness of agitator-less high efficiency washers. I understand it's meant to use less water however the design doesn't work if clothes come out stinky. Home Depot won't take it back and Maytag won't exchange it since it's not broken. I'm so angry and frustrated that a $900 washer is being sold when it doesn't do the one thing it's supposed to to..wash clothes! All I'd like is to exchange for the agitator version and unfortunately I'm stuck with this useless product. I'll never buy another Maytag nor shop at another Home Depot.

Purchased an MVWc565FW0 Maytag washer the end of October 2016. It never worked right. Did not clean clothes properly, made horrible clicking noises and when in April of 2017 it ruined my clothes by distributing something black ( grease?) all over my white clothes and bedding, a repair man came out and replaced the drive, support and cam . Even though I still did not think my clothes came out clean or smelling good, but no more black spots until this week and once again all my white clothes were ruined by something black all over them and machine again making clicking noises. Of course now it is out of warranty. We were hoping to go back to Lowes in Greenville where we purchased and perhaps they would give us a break on a new one, but we were only laughed at. Never again will I own a Maytag product. We went to another store and purchased a GE, which is what I had before I got the maytag. My GE had lasted me 16yrs. I know nothing is made to last that long anymore but you would think it would last longer than a year. Actually, it didn't last a year because it never worked properly. I don't know if we just got a lemon or if this is the general practice for this appliance. Either way I am very unhappy and would never recommend anyone ever buy one.

I have the same model. Havent been happy with it from day one. Had around a year...no grease on clothes yet but has always made the clicking noise that we were told are normal however it doesnt get the clothes clean and the agitator tears up clothes. Last night my daughter's night gown somehow went under the agitator and we are going to have to buy a special tool to remove the agitator. I called msytag customer service and they want to send a technition out. I just want a better quality washer that cleans clothes and doesnt tear them up.

Maytag refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher

Purchased a package deal a little over a year ago from appliance warehouse in new hampshire which included stainless steel frig, micro, stove and dish.

I have had to have service come out a little over 9 times in 1 year.
I now have a new problem, I actually think that all of my products are lemons.
It is a shame as I love maytag.

Service:
Refrig door started to have rust, replaces
Glass shelve broke, replaced
Water filter stuck in filter storage, repalced

Dish:
Dishwasher door started to have rust, replaced

Stove:
Stove door strated to have rust, replaced

Now my microwave and dishwasher are starting to have divets (almost like thumbprints) show up on the outside of the units.
Not sure how this is happening but service came out today and they are not sure either. Maytag says they wont cover cosmetics but, this should not be happening. I have friends in the construction/new homes industry and they have had this happen and they have the appliances replaced within hours.

I am at a loss on these issues
I still have rust spots on the outside of my units, the only thing that seems to work is water and small minute baking soda.

Maytag washer and dryer

Purchased a model MEWX655 Washer and Dryer on 10-14-17 after using Maytag appliances for over 50 years.
this washer and dryer are supposed to be top of the line, efficient and envionrnmentayl friendly. The washer take about 1 1/2 hours to was a load
and when done the clothes are left in knots The dryer hasn't dried clothes completely since the day of installation. Even at a 70 minute maximum setting clothes come out damp. Yes, the vent pipe is clear.
Worst of all is the of response from Mattag. I have made several call ythe only phone number offered in the USA and forced to listen to a recording
of Alabama by Alabama until I fall asleep and nobady answers he line to even tell me company is still in business or offer coffee.
I want to return thes appliances and trade/purchase appliances similar to what we had- quit, easy to use, able to do a load in a reasonable time.
What is so darn difficult about getting someone's face out of a computer and answering the phone to find out their product is lousey and provide good customer service?

Maytag bravos xl

I bought my washer and dryer 3 years ago. The washer broke and I had a repairman out to look at it. Seems that he deals with this problem over and over again with the Maytag's. The seal broke and has allowed water to get into the bearing and transmission. To repair this it would cost me $600. I purposely bought Maytag as I was always told they were the best. I am extremely upset that my 3 year old washer is not deemed metal in my laundry room. The warranty does not cover this but seems to be the same thing that breaks on them withing 2-3 years. My repairman said that he could fix but would still be coming out again when that seal breaks. If this is a common issue then I think they should be recalled to where the consumer is not out this kind of money over and over. I will not buy another maytag or any other machine that maytag makes.

I had a Maytag washing machine for years and I thought it was time for a new one! So I bought one at Home Depot and had it delivered. It made so much noise I sent it back because I thought something was wrong! Had another delivered. Keep it but still sounds terrible when washing and it doesn't get my clothes clean and leaves stuff all over my clothes. I hate this washing machine and I will never recommend Maytag to anyone. What happened to your product? Someone needs to go back to drawing board. Horrible washer!

Maytag bravos washer and dryer maytag 2 years and 8 months old

We just had a repairman out for the washing machine which stopped agitating. The warranty that comes with the machine is expired except for the 10 year drum (stainless steel so won't break anyway) and electric motor. $400 total estimate to repair, of which $200 is for the transmission itself. Ironically, Maytag (Whirlpool) is out of stock so we are waiting for the part.

The matching dryer bought at the same time has been squeaking for a few months now, $30 part and $60 labor to repair. Occasionally the heating won't work on automatic sensor cycle, but always works on the less efficient timed cycle.

We also have a Maytag dishwasher that's been repaired twice, under warranty and we bought the extended warranty on that.

We've repaired the 5 year old Samsung side by side refrigerator/freezer twice starting at 3 years old, again out of warranty. The ice builds up in the back of the refrigerator and stops cooling. They've replaced everything from the thermostat to the controller mother board, but still freezes up over a 3 month period. Now I just dethaw it by placing my food in the backup, cheap, GE refrigerator that is 5 years old

Manufacturers' "Planned Breakage" is really costing consumers. The old Maytag commercial where the repairman is never busy because it's a Maytag is a real joke on us. Next I plan to write my federal senators and representatives, this is a big RIP OFF!

Maytag maytag centennial washer model mvwc415ew2

Our Maytag Centennial washer model MVWC415EW2 which we purchased on February 10, 2017 and installed in our condo on April 6, 2017 is making a horrific rubbing and grinding noise when operating. This is beyond just noisy, it is abnormally loud. I have attached a sound clip for reference. When I called Maytag last July, I was told that during the agitation cycle this noise is normal. I disagree. Listen for yourself.

Maytag washer model mhw7100ddw

A two year old machine bought Feb 8 2016. In 2017 door lock needed to be replaced and later on eo1 for code came up ...needed part replaced. End of Feb. 2018 same code came up repair men came out on March 2 to check
It out, , ordered parts...came out March 7th and replaced the parts..OK good to go not...March 13 started over again with same eo1 fo3 code...repair men came out on March 14 to check it out...was told needed either same part that was replaced or a computer board which is over 250 dollars...a machine should not have that many issues in 2 years...before this maytag we had a frigid are for 10 years with little problems...now we have to buy a new machine cause I am not paying 250 plus dollars and service call ...I am very upset about this...don't know if maytag is worth it or get another brand but I really like maytag... Ramona schad

Maytag fm12269vem11 fridge

From all the write ups and videos on this subject, Maytag has poorly designed the drip tray system for this "Frost Free" refrigerator. In the bottom of the freezer, there is a drip tray that is supposed to collect water/moisture and funnel it into small valve in the middle of the freezer, where it seeps through a small rubber grommet into the collection tray in the bottom of the motor area where it evaporates. Apparently, the rubber grommet plugs up or sticks together so water will not drip through and the tray eventually overflows and water leaks into the freezer bay and then out the front door of the freezer. Instead of Maytag making a wider grommet or installing a larger drip line, they want to sell you a 20.00 part and have you hire a repair man to install it for you. I called Maytag to obtain some information on the drip tray and funnel and the first representative that I talked with, explained to me how the system works. When I told her that my fridge is in a motor home, she said I had to talk with a different division and put me through to another tech named Tucker. Tucker refused to provide me any information or directions on how to resolve the problem. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said that there weren't any as all their staff were senior. I asked for an email address to write to Maytag and he said that there wasn't one. In the end, I was able to resolve the issue by searching You Tube, but Maytag was zero help whatsoever and one would think that they would try to help, given the faulty design.

Maytag refrigerator

I'm writing you to inform I purchased a up top stainless refrigerator in October 2017 and have to had it serviced twice and now waiting on a replacement. The representative first stated I would be receiving a new refrigerator in 10 days and as of today March 15, 2018. Im still waiting. Poorly made appliances but yet very expensive. I would not recommend anyone to purchase any maytag appliances unless you ready to be over whelmed, frustrated and disgusted with the level of service you'll receive.

Maytag bravos xl dryer

I purchased a dryer from Conns on or near the 2nd of February. On the 7th of February, the dryer stopped working. I called Conns since I purchased a warranty service plan. They scheduled a repair technician to come out on the 13th of February. The technician came out and determined he needed to replace the circuit board. On the 14th of February the technician ordered the parts for repair. On the 16th of February the parts came in and a return appointment was scheduled for the 22nd of February. On the 22nd of February a service technician came out and replaced the circuit board. After replacing the part, the dryer still did not work. I was told to call out electricians to check the wiring of the house. I notified the builder since the house is just over a year old. One the 25th of February the home builder's electricians came out and determined there was nothing wrong with the outlet, wiring, or breaker box. On the 23rd of February I requested another service order. As before, an appointment was scheduled for the 27th of February. On February 27th a technician came out and concluded that a fuse might be the problem. The part was ordered on the 1st of March and a return visit was scheduled for the 8th of March. On the 8th of March, the technician replaced the fuse and contacted Maytag to advise them that he was unable to repair the dryer. I listened to the conversation as the technician had the representative on speaker phone. The maytag representative stated that I would have to request the homebuilder send the electricians out a second time instead of honoring the fact that the technicians were out a 3rd time without being able to repair the dryer. On the 9th of March the home builder sent out an electrician for a second time. The electrian ran several diagnostics and determined there was nothing wrong with the home. On the same date, I contacted the Conns service department who scheduled a return visit for the 15th of March. I found this unnacceptable and requested to speak to a supervisor. I was told that I would receive a call back within 24 hours. As of right not, the 12th of March I have yet to receive a call from any Conns representatives/supervisors. I did however call Maytag who scheduled a technician to come out on the 13th of March. After our purchase, the dryer worked for approximately a week and a half and has been broken down for over a month. Our previous dryer was an LG model (Made in Korea) and we decided to upgrade to Maytag (Made in America), or so we thought. An over used saying is that products are not made the way they used to. At this moment, I can say that I agree with this saying. I don't know what is worse, the fact that I am not appreciated as a paying customer by Conns or that Made in America doesn't mean what it used to. I understand that Conns is a different entity, but they sell your product and it is bad for business when they do not value their customers. My wife has spent the last month hauling loads of clothes to the washaterias. We have had to alter/change our plans to accomodate this huge inconvenience. At not point has anyone attempted to compensate us for the time and money we have spent washing clothes. My next step is to write a complaint to Conns service department, write bad reviews, tell anyone that will listen about my experience with Conns/Maytag, and go back to LG. I really hope that no one has to go through the huge inconvenience that we have to go through as a paying customer.

Maytag washing machine

I bought this machine it hAs been only about 3-4 months and it is giving me so much hard time. Most of time the machine takes about 3 hours to run a cycle and once the cycle is finished the clothes are still ditty.I called Maytag and they told me "you should use the "he" soap. So I purchased that soap and still I am getting the same results. I called them again and the representative the spoke to, was rude to me and she hung up the phone. So I never bother to give you call back. Today, a friend of mine told me about the complaint Center. It is ridiculous that even though Maytag is a big company but their washing machine sucks! Please kindly find me a solution to this machine. I can't bear it anymore. We are having tough time with it. If there is possibility that I can exchange my machine with another one, I'll do it, but please for goodnesssake take this machine away. If I do not get a response, I will not hesitate to leave bad rating about the machine and the company itself .
