Mathis Brothers Furniture - sleep comfort guarantee not honored-customer #[protected]

My husband and I purchased a King size Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Hybrid mattress at your sleep center in Broken Arrow on 6/23/19. We had previously been told that in order for Mathis to honor the 30 day comfort guarantee that we would have to purchase a mattress protector, which we did. After sleeping on it for approximately 2 weeks, my husband complained that it slept hotter than the mattress we replaced so I contacted our salesman and asked if we could exchange it for the Pro Breeze medium hybrid. I was told we had to wait the full 30 days, which I was ok with. This mattress was on sale for $3, 999 at the time (more that the Pro Adapt) and I asked if I could get it at that price after the 30 days. The salesman told me he would write up a ticket and call me right back. Later in the day I called again and was told the same thing but did not receive a return call. I then called customer service and was told Mathis wouldn't honor the sleep guarantee because I didn't purchase a pillow. I explained that we were not told that when we bought it and it's not stated on any of the paperwork we have. The customer service rep said I could speak to the manager, who was out of the office. I went in to the East 71st store the next day and talked to the customer service manager. He said the mattress manager was already aware of the situation and would call me. He called the next day and said he would "work with me" on the price but that I would have to buy the pillow. The comfort guarantee listed on your website does NOT say anything about purchasing a pillow. It simply states you have to buy a mattress protector. All I want is for Mathis to honor their guarantee!
