Match.com - Unauthorized subscription and billing

Match.com has billed me $95.88 every 3 months without my authorization!
Just since 2019, this totals $767.04!

I canceled this dating service in Aug 2016 when I met my now husband, and the rep I spoke with verified I have not logged in since Aug 6, 2016.! They said they sent me notices, but it was to an old deactivated email address. I have escalated my request for refund, and am awaiting a call from a supervisor, but based on all the previous complaints listed here on Match.com, I do not have high hopes! Ugh!

Match.com - Subscription

On 11/14/20, I paid for a $59.65 3-month subscription to only be able to view others who viewed my profile. The service activated. Upon signing back in the same day, Match.com requested phone number verification. This should have been requested prior to demanding payment as I do not give my number to scammers. I am locked out of the account and cannot even email Match.com customer service to resolve or stop any additional charges. I had to cancel my bank card to stop any more fraudulent charges by Match. I received nothing for $59. I should have heeded the bad reviews.

Match.com - fraud by attorney samuel kitchens texas attorney

Samuel Kitchens attorney Texas and Jeanette Teckman Texas attorney were forced to settle a major lawsuit that openly discriminated against people. The Tinder Plus Pricing Discrimination Class Action Lawsuit is Kim v. Tinder Inc., et al., Case No. 2:18-cv-03093, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

The Match Group owns Tinder. Tinder was forced to settle age discrimination lawsuit for $11.5 million. I think discrimination in any capacity is horrible. However, when a company like Tinder has in house attorneys like Jeanette Teckman and Samuel Kitchens reviewing its policies to comply with the law, and the company outright violates the law, it must be believed the attorneys embraced the decision to discriminate for the almighty dollar. Otherwise, the only other belief is that the attorneys are simply incompetent about what the law is and failed to advise the company what is/is not discrimination.

Samuel Kitchens barely graduated law school. Jeanette Teckman Texas graduated from a bottom tier law school.

Despite the attorneys for Tinder are not top of the line, the lack of intelligence was found when Tinder settled a class action lawsuit for $17.3 million over charging users 30 and older double the standard fee for one of its subscription services. The premium tier, called Tinder Plus and introduced in 2015, gave users perks like the ability to rewind swipes, more Super Likes, and the option to swipe for people located in other countries.

However, the Match Group attorneys Samuel Kitchens and Jeanette Teckman appears to have not counseled Match Group on the law or simply outright decided to defraud consumers of millions of dollars. In turn, Tinder was forced to pay millions of dollars.

In this day and age I believe corporate responsibility should be at the forefront of an attorneys responsibility - not to defraud consumers. I truly hope this brings to the forefront that large corporations like Match Group need to stop defrauding good people of there hard earned dollars.

Please let me know your thoughts about how you would increase the ethics of attorneys from creating scams aimed to defraud and discriminate against people.
