Match.com people state they want a long term relationship then go away

i'm not too sure how this can be resolved but I think you should be aware, that people in their profiles state they want a serious relationship but then use you as a fling, which is totally not right. it is horrible to have to go through the heartbreak, when you have felt like you found the `one' to be told that they no longer love you, after you have had sex with them and seem to have given them what they came for. I met someone I thought was very special through this site and things seem to progress well for the pair of us. when we met I thought about informing the site how happy I was. both of us even came off match because we felt that we belonged together and didn't need no one else. now I'm left feeling used, hurt and betrayed by someone who I cared and love for so much. to me, I felt that I had my future with him. then when I met his parents everything changed and he seemed to loose interest. he told me it was him and not me, but there was reason after reason. i feel that he shouldn't have put on his profile that he wanted a serious relationship, if a fling was all that he had intended. he told me he loved me all the time, he showed public affection all the time, i felt so loved, now I've lost him and i don't know what to do.

I’ve experienced this as well - it leads me to believe that either the women who subscribe to Match.com are total b———s or the service is rigged with fake profiles in a scheme to get subscribers to keep throwing money at the service, much like one would do with a slot machine

Match.com fraudulent charge on credit card

Match.com Obtained my credit card info and attempted to charge $80.97without ever me even ever being on the site none less give them my credit card info name and email my wife now assumes I was on this site and has caused major turmoil in our lives she called the number and stupidly gave them our names and credit card info and e-mail and after that said yes it was Charlie miller [protected]@msn.com that created a account and they will refund my money tomorrow we will see but that still won't fix my marriage nor explain how they obtained my info to begin with after googling this subject i see it is pretty common and i believe it happened to me year's ago and I never got a answer

Match.com my account got terminated

I bought the 6 month membership with match and 2 days after they approved my account, the terminated my account and wrote me an email stating that it was in the best interest of the community to terminate my account because they claim I violated their terms. I'm bewildered and have no idea what I did to violate their agreement. And based on what I've read on here sounds like I will never find out why they terminated my account. I'm calling first thing tomorrow to request my money back. I paid $132.13 for 6 months. And I hope I get it back. I wish I had seen this thread before signing up with Match. I will be telling every single person I know not to go with match.

Match.com whole service

So many profiles on here are fake - clearly not written by anyone with English as their first language.
This is clearly just an exercise in getting people to part with cash. You sign up, get loads of winks and favourites from people, not as bad on here with 24 yr olds wltm but as soon as you pay it all dries up, until your activity drops off because you get bored and then lo and behold you get messages again. then you might get an actual reply but it will almost certainly be "sorry not my type", despite being exactly what 'her' profile is asking for.
Rip off, save your time and money.

Match.com the messages I send to patential partner's are not being sent word for word.

6/1/2019. I messaged a person that I wanted to contact.
Then when I pressed the send icon, the message did not appear on the message board as I had written.
This is very embarrassing and totally unacceptable.
It portrays that the sender is illiterate and the person receiving it will not think very much of whom sent it. For Example;

The message I wrote,

Hello, I hope you don't mind me sending this message, I think that you look like a kind and sincere person and I would very much like to chat to you, that's if you would like to chat to me of course!
The message appeared as

Hello, I hope you don't mind me sending this message, you look like a good person and you would like to chat with me of course.

NOT ACCEPTABLE

Match.com termination of my account

My account got banned for no reason. I reported a member who would send me sexual and offensive messages after I tried to log back in I couldn't - I thought this must be a mistake I haven't done anything! I'd never be rude to anyone and only speak politely and appropriate. I have a very professional account with a regular picture. I send a complaint to customer service requesting a refund or my account to be unbanned again for I haven't done anything wrong! But ni answers so far - they say you receive a email shortly no nothing. I paid for a full month but I barely finished it. Now having read others experiences I can see how they make their money out of people with this method. This needs a lawsuit.

Match.com is opening emails from match is costing me my relationship

Hi, My girlfriends sister has told my girlfriend that I still have a profile on Match.com and it is showing that I have been recently active. They now both think I have been active on match looking at the profiles of other users. Apparently I have been recently active! we met on match about a year ago and are very happy, being confronted about this a couple of days ago has put a huge strain on us and is testing our relationship deeply. After getting together via match we looked at unsubscribing from their constant emails about 'Daily Matches' we thought we had both unsubscribed, turns out hers had worked and mine had not. I have been getting these emails in my social folder on gmail for ages. I have recently opened a few of them to see If I could unsubscribe from them, could not see an unsubscribe link on the email so clicked on the email which then set me directly to match and straight onto the old profile I used to have, a hangover from the paid subscription I believe. The question is... If i have opened or clicked on any of these emails from match.com does this then automatically set this old profile as being active without me actually engaging with the website at all, this is potentially going to break this relationship so please any help is appreciated, has anyone else had a similar problem?

Match.com cancelling the subscription

This service is completely frustrating and unprofessional when you attempt to cancel.

I am so disgusted in Match which intend to notify the Federal trade commission indicating unfair business practice by not being cooperative.

They teach the customer service not being to help, they hang up on you and when you ask for a supervisor they tell that they are all in a meeting.

They should be embarrassed

Match.com I changed password on account for security and now I am blocked from account

Twice over yesterday and today i have suspended my account but had concerns yesterday morning and this morning when i received selection emails which i know stop if you suspend your account.

I read advice fro match on this subject and did what was suggested. I changed my password and logged out off account ad changed password for my email address.

I wanted to confirm my new password did work so i tried logging in but was blocked by match. Can you help please

Match.com logging into account

I have been trying to get into my account and even clicked on the password to get an email to reset it. Nothing. I am tired of paying for nothing. I don't even get emails for prospective matches like I used to. This site has done nothing for me or my account. I am an unhappy customer and would like my account closed and to be refunded.

I am assuming the account is [protected]
Per my bank statement they are in San Jose California

Match.com terminating my subscription with no just cause

I was sucscribed to match.com for less than 48 hours when "access to my account has been blocked by match". I was to reach out to an email for more information which I did. The first email response said "I appreciate the time you've taken to contact Match. I am happy to look into this for you.

I've reviewed your account and based on the findings, I need to escalate your concern to a different department. I am emailing your inquiry now and someone should respond to you via email within 48 hours.

Thank you for your patience as we investigate this matter.

I then got an email that said

"Please know that due to our Terms of Use, your Match account has been terminated. Due to our privacy practices, we cannot disclose specifics about any Match account, including your own.

I went through the complete terms and I did not breach anything! They will not give me any information and have basically stolen 70 dollars from me because I prepaid for 6 months. The fact they won't even tell me what I did is the shadiest part of all.

Match.com messages

My messages are failing to send, it's not my WiFi connection as all other apps work fine. Only signed up yesterday and am finding it very frustrating, it's caising me to re write messages only for them to fail again, wouldn't be so bad if the remains in my out box for resending but the disappear. If this continues I will be wanting a full refund as it's not exactly doing me any good when it comes to meeting g a match as I can't even have a decent conversation, if the message is any longer than a sentence it has trouble sending

Match.com was reactivating a closed account and was told they were terminating me permanently without a reason.

I was a member of Match and Ourtime for a period of 6 to 9 months. I finally cancelled both of them about 1 1/2 years ago. Recently I tried to reactivate Match and was told that my account was permanently closed due to violations of the terms of agreement which they were allowed not to talk to me about. When I cancelled in the past I had a problem with them continuing to charge me monthly dues. I finally noticed after a couple of months, called them and was able to get a partial refund. Maybe that flagged my account though this is evidently a common problem with Match. I know that I have done nothing to violate the terms of their agreement. Any help here?

I hereby are making a complaint regarding Match.com product.

My password is no longer working and I have made 5 attempt to cancel my subscription with no assistance since 29/8/18.

Last reference number provided on 1/9/18 was [protected]

Match.com john gergely

John Gergely's account has been changed twice because customer support told him he needed to setup a new account. He does not have computer skills and uses his phone for match. You sent him an email to sign back up and he has and again cannot access his account he called in for help and again was not able to get into his account.
PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE CALL HIM OR HELP HIM TO GET HIS ACCOUNT OPENED CORRECTLY.

Absolutely awful.
None of the matches are right (e.g. Interests, religion, profession, schooling, smoking habits). Photos do not match ages of people. Something is not right there. What a waste of time and money.
The website gets booked often. I have tremendous difficulties to navigate/ do searches as the page disappears and then comes back again from the start. Difficult to narrow down the search. Lara - the online help, doesn't really help.
Is there a refund policy?

Match.com a mr. mac donald [protected]@gmail.com tried to scam me

He had a subscription so was able to private email me so I thought he was legitimateuding Match letterhead.
He has been sending me emails and texting for a month stating he was a Fund Manager with Kames Capital Kent UK
I got suspicious and started looking on line for fund manager fraud scams and found he has done this through Match with other women and scammed them for thousands of dollars using identical stories and love letters.
I see there is a class action law suit that has been filed against Match.com that I M going to look into

Match.com scam

On August 12, 2018 I was contacted by Match.com's member rfi9260...he told me that he wanted to get to know me, but that his subscription was about to run out. So, he gave me his personal email. It seemed legit, so we began to correspond daily. He told me his name was Eric Jakobsdottir . Today I noticed that his picture and profile were still up, and after re reading his profile, some things just did not match with our correspondence. He contacted me today wanting a phone number. I double checked and even googled him...there was no match. I did not give him a phone # and I cancelled my subscription with Match.com. My concern is that it is possible that he is using the identity of the member, perhaps without the members knowledge. I told him to not contact me again except through the site...and of course since I have cancelled my subscription even if he wanted to he could not, as I am no longer a member.

Match.com Blocked account

I have subscribed to match.com till December. I used the site for a few weeks then they blocked my account without giving any reason. I am a 76 year old widow living in Cambridge U.K. I am an ex professional. I was a counsellor. I am now retired. I have an impeccable life record. No convictions. No debts. I have tried and tried to get in touch with their support team and failed utterly.
