We don't know much about how MAPCO handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. MAPCO racist cashier

I come in with a water that i bought two waters there on Monday wasn't able to get back there until today. The seal was broken when I bought it so I left it in my car until I can get back that way, when I walked in the female cashier was standing there talking to another young lady didn't greet me rolled her eyes when I asked about the water called the male Casher to come and assist to me because she was too busy talkin that's not really good customer service I used to work for Mapco for years that's rude as hell so once I got done shopping around I went back to her counter she looked up at me rode her [censored] again and began scanning my items didn't ask me if I had a Mapco card didn't ask me if I wanted a bag didn't ask me if I needed a receipt just rude and nonchalant everything was great at that location everybody was nice until she started working there she's the only rude person that works there I don't know if she's racist but I have another time I visited that location and I heard her speak to everybody everyone that came through the door in front of me and once I came in she looked and looked at the way so I don't think you all should have a racist person working at Mapco because she's going to come encounter with a whole lot of black people and if she doesn't want to touch any of the items that we are putting on the counter and not going to to treat us as fare as caucasians then she shouldn't work their, Mapco is supposed to be a place where people could get treated equally I don't like that at all and something should be done about it verbal warning or something

MAPCO illegal actions

I have observed one of the employees at Mapco on Jefferson in Nashville Tennessee serve somebody drugs inside the store. I know they can't be doing this on the job but why would they be serving drugs inside the store in front of everybody if they obviously want their job apparently they do not want their job they want to lose it all because you serving drugs inside the store is not what you should be doing you should be doing your job not selling illegal stuff

MAPCO Employee threatening me.

I came into the store on 08/16/19. I was not greeted until someone yelled at me and said next in line. Your manager Shequita Houston then got very ugly with me. She threatened me as I was walking out the store and told me she would slap my [censored] [censored] self in the face and knock all my teeth out. I did call her a [censored] because she was being ractist and beating her hands on the counter and asking very unperfessional. She told me that she was the manager and if she is needs to be fired. She argued with me for a good five minutes about how she kept calling me but she didn't. I will not be back to this store for the very reason she said she would knock my teeth out and I will be sure to tell everyone I know on Facebook and all my social media to steer clear of yalls ractist employee. According to a hiring store sign on the register the store number is 5130. And your employee is lucky I didn't press charges on her.

MAPCO ice machine

I love Marco ice if I could buy a ice machine just like it I WOULD! I REALLY REALLY WOULD THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY RUDE I've heard them say several times their not going to work me, I mean how hard is it to ring up ice and clean up some cups in the fountain area with accidental spills. It's the same workers every night when I get off work, i spend $2.20 every night in a week i spend $15.40 just on ice alone. The EMPLOYEES always have bags stuffed in the ice hole. One night I came in to a no ice sign on the door and i checked it for myself, Ice came straight out and fast, so now they keep the cups behide the counter to avoid it and say it isn't any cups or lids. How can you not order enough cups knowing the ice sales so now I keep 4 Marco cups just in case they have ice but no cups I am a loyal ice consumer and customer who does not have to spend my money there! Tops bbq have good ice too. These are the only two stores we have near this area could you all build another mapco store in the 38127 zip code, that would be awesome. In the mean time It would be great to have loyal, dedicated employees with great people skills to serve us as well!

MAPCO connie flynn

Every day when I come in and connie is working i have seen her touch customers food with bare hands and have had to wait 10+ minutes for her to serve me, i am a regular at this store and when she works is the only time I have any issues, all of the other shifts are very nice and wonderful and always make me feel understood and welcome. When she works I do not feel that way, she can be very rude and just outright horrible.

MAPCO gas pumps

The gas pumps at your 3217 unity on Highway 70S in Nashville, TN has some fairly new pumps. Thank you for replacing them, they were really old. I have been a customer for years but I cannot continue to buy gas from Mapco when some of the pump card readers don't work. I have asked the in-store attendant about this more than once and feel like they are reporting it but nothing is being repaired. This is a very busy unit and it is a real pain to not be able to make a purchase for one of my several cars and move on with my day. Thank you.

MAPCO gas refund

On 6/17/2019 I went to get gas on my lunch break at said location. I made purchase for $11.62, which included $10 gas, 2 cups of ice for $1 and a honey bun for $.50. When I got off wirk that afternoon i realized I forgot the gas. Employee Joshua Adams adviced me that the supervisor was aware and I would be refunded to my account. Because this is my favorite Map co location, I have been in constant contact. Only a $1.69 was refunded to my account. I was also giving a few different numbers to hansle this matter but to no avail. Please help me.

MAPCO management

On today and at approximately 9:45 am, I went to my neighbor Mapco ( 3703 Jackson Ave. Memphis, Tn. ). When I got there several more customers were staying outside the front door, then proceeded to leave. I tried the door and it was locked and I watched and listened ( as well as some other customers who came up ) to the manager cussing and screaming at two of her employees. This woman ( don't know her name ) was so loud. She did not care that customers were watching and listening. The female employee's husband was standing by me and was very upset at the way his wife was being belittled and cussed out. This man's wife is a good employee. Most of the time she is working alone. I've been coming to this Mapco for a number of years and don't know anyone there personally, just in passing when I go there. I have never heard a manager talk, no not talk, scream and cuss their employees out like that before. That manager is no people person. She hangs out in the parking lot smoking most of the time, the other half she's not there. This past Friday she told the employees she was leaving. But before she could get out the door a health inspector showed up. I was standing right beside her when she said to him, why do you have to come on Fridays, I fixing to leave. He told her he was going to do his job. She was pissed. He proceed to check the expiration dates on food products and cooler temps. I left. The Pepsi men were inside the store today when she went on her rant. She unlocked the door for them and they just shook their head and she's wrong for that. I was standing out there for 15 minutes. As I started to walk off she opened the door and told me I could come on in. The female employee to her ( in front of me ) that she could work under conditions of being cussed and screamed at. The manager screamed clock out, now, clock out. When the employee stepped into the office to clock out the manager stepped inside to and closed the door. Don't know what happened after that, I left. I don't think I'll be going there again tho it's only a half block away. I'll drive down the street to Citco. I'm a people person. Have had several management positions in my career and would never have talked down or dirty to the people working with me. Please look into this. You will be losing an asset employee if she ( not manager ) leaves. Thank you for listening.

MAPCO service

I went to your store here in calhoun. The workers was setting outside i asked several times if the store was open and the lady proceded to be very rude cussing me and threatening me. there was a guy that didnt work there so i assume she was showing off in front of him the guys truck was parked in front of the gas pump. i didnt appreciate the rude behavior i was not rude to her until she came to the front of my car n started on me again the adress is 973 rome rd sw calhoun ga 30701 the time of the incident was 8:20 i did not appreciate the bad language and the fact that she started as soon as i got to the door the lady never said they were closed and she was asked 4 or 5 times before i got out and walked to the door were she started cussing and being extremely rude than she followed me to the car and continue to yell at me and my daughter i had my grandson in the car n her yelling and all upset him i had to pull over on the side of the road to calm him down i dont normally complain cause i know sometimes they have bad days to but that was un called for and it needs to be dealt with thanks for your time in reading this

MAPCO peer complaint

On 6/6 at about 1:20-1:40 pm. I, deandra, and the general manager tish spoke about deandras performance and unprofessional attitude towards me while tish was outin the mist of me explaining to tish... Deandra proceeded to call me [censored]s and [censored]es amongst other names... Tish mentioned that deandras frustrations stemmed from gossip which I know nothing about ive only been working here a month tish yelled for the commotion to settle and allowed deandra to leave the register rather early. Again this was at the front counter... Since then the next day 6/7/2019 other coworkers have displayed unprofessional attitudes in front of customers a lead tamara on 6/7/2019 suggested I figure out myself how to deal with the customers as the computers had crashed, and she suggested in a hostile manner in front of customers. Tamara also totally ignored 3-2-2 polices an abundance of times also 100% out of uniform... On today 6/8/2019 I arrived at 1pm doing a 1-8pm shift my lead for the shift did not arrive on time.. My manager tish told me she would be leaving to get change and never came back causing me to be left alone up until approximately 5:57pm when the leader of the shift arrived after 5 hours in an inappropriate and distracting mini skirt I feel this was on purpose and is stemmimg from some sort of retaliation from an alleged he say she say gossip im not certain... Also on 6/7 tamara told me I would not be allowed to take a break even after hours of being on the register alone she suggested I eat at the register. I asked tish would there be any consequences for the disrespect by deandra she said she would not schedule us the same shifts and that she supposedly spoke to ken but nobody has addressed me about the situation... There is so many procedures not being followed here its ridiculous like I said i've only worked here not even a month and the environment has gotten more and more hostile. I spoke witj tish about the hostile environment today because another one of my coworkers mentioned to day at about 2:07-2:30 that in a little bit that I wont have to worry about working long hours soon, insinuating that my hours will be shortened soon and she did mention that in front of tish while we were atthe register... A few other things is none of my coworker except myself dresses in uniform its alot of leggings flip flops or slides, long nail, eating at the register. Cigarette breaks are at an all time high between tamara deandra and angel they get about 10 cig breaks a piece also yesterday I was relieved by deandra who almost immediately after clocking in and counting her register down went and had a cigarette break im just sick and tired of the disrespect

Store #7504 in madison, AL. The employee in reference to my complaint is a female by the name of Jan/Janice. The complaints are too long, and numerous to spend my time typing. However, I will say this woman has zero customer service skills, or communication skills, and is a lazy, incompetant @$$hat. I have made random stops to this store to voice my complaints to management, and will continue to do so until this woman is fired from this location.

MAPCO gas

Stopped at mapco last night for gas at mapco in Tuscaloosa Al on Oscar Baxter . Truck was running fine prior. After putting gas in and did not make it less than a mile truck Sputtering and jerking truck engine light came on barely made it home had to coast home. Was told there was water in gas tank. We need to know who to contact

MAPCO answering phone question

I called this station on 5/3/19 around 11:30 am. Shelia (I think that was her name) answered I asked if they carried ethanol-free gas and was rudely told quit calling about this. This was my first time calling so it me off guard by the reply, I recalled to tell her that and the station is on a web site saying they carried the gas. But was interrupted and answered with the same rude tone message and hung up on me. I did not try any more calls, but I hope she has more pleasant days in the future.

It was just before 2:30am on may 1st. I pulled up in front of the store. As i walked to the doors. They didn't open for me. there was no sign so I kind of just slip doors open. Maybe it was a malfunction. I didn't know. So i walked in and made myself known. I said hello to see if anybody was around. No one answered so I went straight to the bathroom. In 1 minute I hear someone screaming hello loudly and then footsteps and banging on the bathroom door. Banging! Like eight or nine knocks. Obviously I couldn't hear in a 5 by 5 bathroom one or two knocks. Around 10 loud ones was the right amount. She said, " her store is closed and it was locked I can't just make my way in. " ok so I don't understand that first of all. I don't know how she was hired because none of that even make sense when its put together. if it's locked then obviously i broke in. Now, the doors were unlocked they just didn't slide open. I slid them open, walked in and announced myself. Didn't here anybody so I went to the bathroom. she's telling me " i need to leave the store " . I'm walking behind her and she's walking ahead of me saying I can't do that I can't just walk into her store it's closed I said well you need to put a sign up saying it's closed like they usually do. Closed from 3 to 4 or employees on restroom break. Or even employees out in the car getting and pregnant. wtv. Just put up the sign. something on why the store is closed because it's not supposed to be closed unless it's between 3 - 4am. If I'm certain. again this is before 2:30 a.m. in the morning. Now im still talkin to this little ignorant female I didn't get her name. Cuz i wasn't sure if she knew. This conversation isn't going anywhere smart or intelligent. It's staying on a very low level of back-and-forth bickering. If you're sitti g in this car facing me 15 feet away. Why did you allow me to gey that far before you made the ignorant attempt to let me k ow of the confusion or even possibly knock normal and tell me that they're closed and when im finished to please leave until it reopens again. Im sorry but someone needs to give her a book. She can pick it up and advance her vocabulary. Cuss words are being shouted around. Started by her and only by her. Thats when i knew this wouldn't end well if i stooped to her level. I pulled off with her still yapping back and forth. Possibly because she was standing next to her pimp. She had to show that she don't take no crap. I get that. I really don't know who that was with her. All i know him standing outside the car like he's going to do something was the stupidest thing I've seen all day. So someone needs to contact that store. Someone needs to talk to that that manager. Someone needs to whole-heartedly fire that girl. immediately! Because nothing she did was professional. Nothing she did was intelligent. Nothing she did was I would say and I don't know but I would say how Mapco wants to be knownas a company. Unless you do and then that store really does deserve that 2.6 review rating on Google. MAPCO Coke discount and bad customer service

My husband and I go into mapco all the time to get their big drinks for.89 and.99 cents. Noone ever asks us for a mapco card or if we have one. The sign says plain as day.89 any drink. We go to pay after we get our drinks and the womsn who works the deli rang it up at 3.87. I said "maam the sign says.89 cents any size drink" "she said" "only if you have a mapco card". I said... Well can I get a mapco card so I can get my discount? She said "no you may not get a mapco card we ate not giving them. Out today" she was sooooo rude. I asked her well since I cant get my card can we get the drinks at the.89 cent price since everytime we come in nobody has told us this? She refused! We told her to keep it we are taking our buisness somewhere else. Very poor customer service

MAPCO rude employee

This afternoon I went into the store purchase gas and lottery tickets. I tried to purchase the lottery ticket first, and handed the ticket to the cashier over a sign on the counter. She snapped at me and said, "I'm not reaching over all that." I thought that it was so rude that I responded with, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to inconvenience you." I purchased the tickets and walked out of the store without getting any gas. She is always very unpleasant when I go to the store (which is about daily to buy lottery tickets). When I see her at the register, my whole demeaner changes because I know she is going to be nasty. I don't know her name, but she's a heavyset blonde white woman. I don't know if she treats me rudely because I'm elderly or because I'm Black, but she is never pleasant. All the other cashiers are friendly and kind. She's the only one that I've encountered in the store who is not.

MAPCO unethical behavior

Friday morning January 11, 2019 between 8am and 8:15 am at store #3411, while Racheal Cooke (store associate) and Chris Brown (manager) we working, my son was a customer at the store. He and several child that were waiting on the bus we to the store. As they entered, Rachael began to follow him around the store, he got the item (chips) that he was buying and went to check out. Chris (manager) ask him we you going to steal something, my son said no, Chris again ask are you sure, my son said yes. The transaction was completed Chris bagged the chips and left the bag on the counter to force my son to have to really reach toward him to get the bag.

On Saturday January 12, my son and his dad went back to the store, his dad asked him (Chris) is he remember this young man. Chris responded yes, they discussed the incident from Friday and Chris admitted that he asked my son those questions because he saw on of the other children put something in their pocket so he asked my son because he looked like he was the oldest. Keep in mind he never said anything to the kid he saw supposedly put something in his pocket.

My entire issue with this is they were all middle school children, you cant say he was the oldest. My son however; was the only black child while the others were white. Major problem, I picked my son up from school he said, "mom, I feel like I was racially profiled this morning at Mapco.

Now as my son as his dad were leaving the store on Saturday, a black man came in and as for $20.00 for gas, again Chris (manager) responded do you have $20.00.
It appears his needs to be trained in many areas, he will be a determinate to you store.

MAPCO defective gas pump # 10 located at 1691 poplar ave memphis tn 38104.

On November 19 I was pumping gas on pump 10. I paid 20 dollars with my debit card. The pump stopped .06. I was told that it would reverse back to my card. On November 28 the same thing happened. I paid 20 dollars with my card but it stopped on 05. As of today I haven't been refunded my money. I pay inside. I never pay at the pump. I finally talked to the manager about the situation. She informed me to talk to my bank. I have talked to card services at my bank. I still patronize the establishment but I no longer purchase gas there. Happy holidays and Thanks.

MAPCO attendant gave me the wrong product

Camel recently changed their Camel Crush packs from white to black according to what the clerk told me last time. I asked the attendant today if the ones he was pointing to were indeed the Camel Crush Silvers and he assured me that they were. Now I have 12 packs of the wrong cigarettes. Daryl is a nice kid but this is a lot of money for me to spend on a product that will go to waste!
