was writing this in regards to my daughter and her make a wish trip she was to have.
Last year my daughter was granted a wish thru the make a wish foundation to see Rascal Flatts and spend a day with them at their pittsburgh cancert unfortunatly she had gotten ill and the wish was postponed so this year I recieved a call from make a wish asking if she would like to meet them again. Well I agreed she would have gotten the whole day with them as so I was told picked up by limo and all.Well long story short On Thursday I recieved her plan from make a wish I do still have this if you would like to see it for yourself.The trip was a limo pick up at 5:45 for a 7:30 concert When she arrived she was to meet the woman from make a wish, who would give us the tickets and take her backstage for the meet and greet. Oh I forgot to mention this show had a meet and greet opp to start with but there was a catch in order for her to recieve a extra 5 minutes with them she needed to where a pin I do still have it. Well when I read this I was concerned that what I was told on the phone and given was not the same. I went to these people first because she wanted to swim with dolphins but I did not have that money so that was her wish but they could not do it. So Rascal Flatts are her hero she loves them. Well I phoned make a wish and asked what happened they said it was the band and they determine what she gets well I think much different this band does so much for children and hospitals. I asked her do they even know she is coming I am not the type of person to just spring some sick child on someone after all these guys are on tour and today they are wrapping up a 3 day road trip so they are tired and I have respect for people. So I found out they did not know she was coming her pin was her ticket to see them Well I said no thanks if I had known this was the case weeks ago I would have just bought the tickets myself and had a chance for a meet and greet opp. And by the way the limo was a cat like bus they were bringing for her due to wheelchair confinement. If you ask how would I have gotten her there well A taxi company across the river has a wheelchair accessible van.If that failed had back up transport to. So her birthday was a couple of weeks ago and this was to be her big surprise gift well it is not.I was informed by make a wish if she wanted more time with them she would need to travel father from home for that to happen. I canceled it for moral reasons and so they could get in contact with them the next time and have them prepared and getting her a more opp with them ex soundcheck and such. Well her heart is crushed. I recieved a call from their director letting me know that her wish to meet her heroes is be taken from her and she will not have the chance to meet them ever again.It gives her very little options since she does not travel far away and she could not enjoy a disney trip as thats the first thing they push on you. Second a shopping spree she can not play with anything she is crippled. After doing such I tried to see if anyone else had a nightmare wish well "google make a wish nightmare"and you will meet a more terrible story then I have. Lancaster make a wish office

    Lady you are one greedy ###! YOU cancelled her opportunity not the agency. You ruined your kids life because you are small minded and greedy
