Macy's Unjust termination

I proudly had been working as a Sales Associate at Macy's Boca Raton, FL store from November, 2019-December, 2020.
I started as a Seasonal Colleague in various departments and after two months was promoted to Full Time, mainly working the Children's Department.
I loved my job so much! My Coworkers, Managers, and of course, Guests became like family to me. What Macy's did not know, was that I am a High Functioning Autistic. I never use my disability to get ahead. I view it as an asset. I have a sharp memory and I do not put barriers between myself and other people.
A unique characteristic, of individuals like I am is that we are unable to lie. Our thoughts mirror our experiences, and reflect the truth. And, my truth, about my job was enthusiasm. As a "Retail Therapist" at Macy's, I regularly had high net sales. My last daily record was $5, 637 in December 2020. More importantly, I received praise, affirmation, and yes, love, from my coworkers and guests.
Imagine my shock on December 4th, 2020, when I was taken to meet with the Head Asset Protection (AP) Officer of the Store. Please note that, in no way, am I faulting the Head AP Officer. He was very nice all things considered. He attempted to go to bat for me against corporate. He showed me three transactions that registered lower than they should have totaled.
Two of which occurred months before I was questioned. I did not commit this infraction. I had not been trained to spot doctored tickets when tabulating transactions. Now I know that while the computer does not lie, unscrupulous people had been committing malfeasance at our store.
I recognized one transaction as that of one of my regulars, who did over $30, 000 of business with me. Two of her items had rung up lower than they should have. I should make it clear, I used the prices on the ticket.
Thanks to AP at my store, I was not suspended. I worked the next 11 days, until I was terminated by someone named "Kim" at corporate, who investigated my case. She dangled false hope to eeek out another $20, 000 in sales from me. Sadly, but I guess predictably, I was terminated.
Terminated is a blasphemous word in the code of retail. It means unhirable. In the merchandising world, at the age of 28, I now am an untouchable.
What did I do to deserve this? I loved my job so much, my Mother once reported she heard me helping guests in my sleep.
Where am I now? I am responding to ads and going on interviews day after day after day. What I do know is that the word terminated is like "The Mark of Cain." I am incapable of self protective deceit. "Kim" is my terminator.

P.S. Based on reaching out to other associates as well as this board, it does not look like I am the only one this has happened to.

Macy's Hello I have had a person open a Macy's card using my name

I have sent them a copy of this girls id after I learned a Macys card was sent to her using the address on her ID. The address on my ID is my current address and has been for the past 10 years. They were going to give me a deal and I would only have to pay like $500 of the bill to clear it off my credit report, my credit score was 750, but I was talking to the fraud department to try and remove this fraudulent card and its activity from my credit report. But after explaining that they sent the card to another address that is like 2 1/2 hours away, and I gave them my address then they started sending bills to my address. Hello they sent someone else the card now they want me to pay the bill? I tried filing a police report and sending a letter to Macy's.
You can see Macy's sent her the card and is sending me the bill.
I've read a lot of complaints about Macys not being helpful with fraud, and stolen cards.

Desired outcome: If they are not going to remove this fraudulent card charges from my name I guess I can pay that like $400 something to have it cleared from my name.

Macy's Cashiers at bedding department

Good morning, I had a horrible experience yesterday at Macy's - Kings Plaza 1/8/21 at 5:10 PM (review your surveillance cameras more often).
Shopping on the ground floor, only two cashiers available, manned by one cashier! Very long lines! I put the items back and proceeded to the 3rd floor, picked up a few leftover Christmas items, and waited on line at the only cashier on the floor. It took 40 minutes to pay with four customers ahead of me and at least five behind me. There was one woman ringing up sales and two others behind the counter engrossed in conversation and not helping. When we finally got to pay for our items, we had an item marked down, sticker read $14.00. The confused cashier scanned it and said we had to pay the full price 0f $34.00. We left it and paid for other items. On our way to the escalator, we observed another box containing the item that we left behind and the price was also $14.00. Store manager, Andrew said $14.00 is the price, walked us back to the cashier and informed the cashier that we are to pay the sticker price, and to put me ahead of the other customers being that we waited 40 minutes to pay the first time. The cashiers did not oblige.
There were two customers ahead of us, and they added a cashier for ten minutes, then one of them departed. Another 30 minute wait and there were ten customers behind us.
Why is your store short help? Why were these two horrible cashiers working like molasses. There is no help in your store. Other departments would not allow us to pay at their stations. The perfume section is staffed but no one helps (Channel is staffed but they will not walk to Dolce Gabana).
As a business owner, who is also in the retail business, my advice is to open up additional cashier stations, teach your managers how to manage, educate the lazy cashiers with the products that are marked down, and hire additional cashiers that work faster. These cashiers were pure lazy and spiteful, to make us wait an additional half hour after waiting on line the first time.
I will never shop at this store again! This is macy's for crying out loud. I've been a loyal customer for fifty years. Also, there were children.
Shame on Macy's, you should no longer be in business!
This store should be closed. BBB to be notified.

Have you ever thought that reason that the cashiers are working like molasses was due to a disability or injury? Honestly if you are impatient just stay at home. Maybe you can't because mommy cannot find a babysitter for you because you wear them out. Surely you were shopping with mommy right. I mean would let a five year old like you shop by yourself? I hope one day you are injured and it makes you move slow and you have a disgusting person like yourself get upset about it. The difference between you and the other people having to wait is they are mature enough to wait patiently. You are not. Maybe they only had seasonal help and they contract was done. Ask mommy how things work before posting little boy.

Macy's Quality of gold ring, not repairable

I went to Volusia Mall Macys on 11/20/2020 to get a Yellow gold 3 row diamond ring I bought in 2017. The ring was 14K gold with diamonds. It was engraved and sized by Macy's. It developed a dent on the side of the ring. I had a warranty #[protected] that expired on 11/5/2020. Due to the Co Vid 19, I did not return to Macy's on time. Nevertheless, I was willing to pay for the repair of the ring. The ring was sent out to the jeweler and returned without repair. It stated that, "Ring has high porosity on side gallery and ring was previously solder gold is contaminated." It was beyond repair and returned to the store without work done. Repair #[protected]. I paid $934 for this ring on sale before taxes and warranty.
I am disappointed on the quality of the gold jewelry at Macy's. You will see that I have bought a few jewelry items. I am a platinum member of Macy's but will not purchase jewelry from Macy's again. I do not know how gold becomes contaminated but the ring should not have had a dent on the side that could not be repaired.

Macy's Customer coupons

I am presently a Macy's credit card holder. I recently shopped at Macy's store in the town center at Chesterfield county Virginia mall. I had a fistful of coupons that were mailed to me by your company. I attempted to purchase three different items only to find out I could not use any of the coupons toward the purchase of my items. I asked why, since all the coupons were in date and the cashier turned the coupons to the back and pointed out that the items I was purchasing were excluded on the coupons. The print on the coupon was so tiny that it was impossible to read without a high powered magnifying glass. Where this should have been a pleasurable experience turned into a total frustrating shopping trip.

Macy's Belgique cookware

I purchased a set of belgique cookware about 5 years ago. I love my set but a few times now I have burned my hand and family members as well who were using them. The handles have the silicone handle on the bottom of each handle but when I pour the food out, the steam somehow gets into the handle and burns.

I know I'm not the only consumer who has this issue. I'm not ready to part with my set but wondered whether there is any solution to this problem such as replacing the handles with a better handle?

Macy's Customer service and exchanges.

My brother bought me a Calvin Klein Hooded Puffer Coat for Christmas. The card said, "Happy Birthday beautiful princess Noni". It's not my birthday and I'm not Noni. I called Macy's 11 times to exchange the order. I could hardly understand the agents due to their thick accents. They kept telling me to go to my local store and exchange it. They didn't understand that I can't simply go to my local Macy's store and exchange it because Macy's closed the only store in Vermont. The closest Macy's store to me is 107 miles. I am high risk and will NOT go into a store in the middle of a pandemic if there was one near me. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was hung up on every time except twice where I was transferred to a recording that said, "For credit services press 1, for Omni channel press 2. I listened to that for 2 minutes the first time and 18 minutes the second time hoping the agent would come back on the phone and they didn't.
Needless to say I doubt I will be purchasing anything through Macy's in the future for the following reasons: 1. Macy's online shipped me the wrong item. 2. I can't do an even exchange through the mail. 3. There is no local store near me. 4. Your customer service is not helpful or friendly and they are extremely difficult to understand. Macy's doesn't care about their customers.

I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau and other agencies.

Macy's Waffle iron

Good morning,
Thanks for reading my complaint.
Below is my complaint in the simple form.
Not a money problem, not a problem at all.
I followed every ordering prerequisite asked of me.
To my dismay, I was investigated like a criminal.
I was treated poorly, unfair, disrespected, out right mistreated.
I was ask, who I was. I was treat so badly it brought to tears.
As you will see below, I only ordered a waffle iron.
When I ask what is wrong with my order, the lady said: "we have our own way of how we receive orders, and yours does not meet our standard.
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAS CHANGE AT MACY'S THAT WOULD CAUSE TREATMENT OF A CUSTOMER SO POORLY?
I HAVE ALWAYS SHOPPED AT MACY'S, NEVER IN ALL MY DAY HAVE BEEN SO MISTREATED.

Macy's Sofa

I bought a sofa less then month ago, I have dot spots on it I want immediate replacement.
I complain same time when it was delivered but driver refused to take back and suggest me to call back customer service it was little but now I can see more now, it's less visible in day and more visible in night. I am very unsatisfied with this sofa.

Macy's Never received item and continue to be charged on credit card

In early November, 2020, I placed an order on macys.com for 3 items. One of them never showed up. I've contacted Macys 4 times now over the past 30 days, they canceled order back in November, however, didn't let Klarna know I was to receive a credit., ;this was a birthday gift.

My credit card is still being charged for an item I never received as they h ad issues with shipping. I have spent over 6 hours trying to resolve this to no avail, going back and forth between Klarna and Macys.

I've continually received promises from Macys customer service that they will issue the credit and contact Klarna, but to date over 1 month later, they have not completed the credit as promised.

Macy's Online order

I am writing to the corporate office (I hope) to find out "Where is my Order"! On November 30, 2020, my daughter told me what I could get her for Christmas.. The Instant Vortex Plus 10 quart 7-in-1 Air Fryer Oven from Macy's. She lives in Raleigh, NC but I live in Burlington, NC and we don't have a Macy's here. Online I go to order this item, with a shipping date of December 7, 2020. Order# 2140522518.. So far the ONLY contact I have had is with their customer service department in a foreign country with two people that I cannot understand until I make them clarify what they said. This last time I asked to get a number that I can call so that I may find my order. Her response-finally - was to send me to a supervisor, who never picked up after 15 minutes! The purchase money was taken out of my account, very promptly, but I have not heard anything from Macy's. From such a large company I would expect better customer service than this! I took the "standard shipping" but at this point I feel like it should be priority shipped at Macy's expense! I am certainly pissed that I have received no communication from Macy's and whenever I pull up this order it tells me that this item is unavailable! Yet the foreign service reps say "oh, Yes Ma'am it is still available".. Please call me at [protected] cell. I would add my home number but I want to speak to someone directly instead of playing "phone tag"... Every time I call your 1-800-289-6229, they tell me it is being prepared for shipment.. If that was the case then you have absolutely the slowest packers in the world, because this is the message that I have gotten-from your service reps - for the last 5 days!

Macy's Trouble with my macy card

I have tried to make a purchase of several gift cards with my macys card, and was rejected after it was submitted. When I called to ascertain why, no one in macys could tell me what happened! In fact there was a freeze placed on my card, which at one point was taken off. After spending over an hour on the phone speaking with people who cannot speak the english language fluidly, I was told it was ok to order the gift certificates! Once again, I was rejected! I made several attempts to correct this by recalling the phone number given, I was continually placed on hold, they could'nt find my account, they wanted to verify my account, which I did several times, but to no avail! I am frushtrated and angry, and am totally giving up on macy's, you have lost a customer, and I will do everything within my realm to convince other people not to shop at macys. The customer service program you have in place is the most horrible experience I have had in many years!

Macy's I am complain about people stolen my macy's credit card

I am Jean Ronald Jules, I have applied for a Macy's credit card. I never received it, and make any purchase on it. Suddenly, I received a Macy's account statement [protected])with a bill of $281 with a minimum payment due of $29.
Honestly, I don't know any transaction about that.

Can you please help to find who make those orders and which address they used for delivery and which email address they used for those purchases?

Macy's Order

I placed an online order for in store pickup. Received notification that one item arrived but that I didn't have to pick it up until the order was completed. Now I get notification that part was canceled due to the fact that it was not picked up. It was a Clinique gift set $73 value for $10. Low and behold, it is no longer available and cannot be duplicated and no substitute. Imagine that. I am not happy and will cancel any outstanding orders. This is bs!

Macy's No refund for ordered item no longer available on macy`s online website. Unable to speak to any customer service advisor located in the usa

Ordered (#2058796874) on 11/05/2020 when it showed up as being in stock. As of 11/16/2020, the item has not been shipped according to Macy`s website order status function and it does not show any information for the order status. Customer support advisors, all in the Philippines, repeatedly said that no refund will be processed for this order. Attempts to speak to someone in the USA have all been failures.
I want immediate credit for order that is unavailable & has not been received by me.

Same here. That's what I was told by the very poor English speaking CSR, but 'Consumer Protection' dept. Told me it's an "authorization" thing. But your money is in Limbo until it's replaced

Macy's Package received torn and missing item

Purchased 2 knife sets on order #[protected]. Received manila shipping envelope on 10/30/20 and package was torn at top and only had 1 knife set. Called and reported it not received on 10/30/20 and I was told it would be shipped out in 24/48 hours. Never got any emails or shipment. Called again on 11/2/20 and was told the same thing and called a third time 11/4/20 and was told it was under review. Macy's treated like a thief over a $17 knife. It was shipped direct from the manufacturer in a manila envelope and was securely tape to prevent loss of contents. I want the merchandise reshipped to me as it not my fault the item was not shipped properly. It is a disgrace the way Macy's 800 number handles problems. I had problems before when the pandemic started and I had to go thru hell to get it corrected.

Macy's Billing rollover of disputed charges every month even after resolution.

I made the mistake of buying some jewellery on installments from macy's. It was paid in full months before the scheduled promotion expiry. However two months later a $292 interest charge was assessed on the promotion because there was a $5 starz pkg charge that was overlooked. I spoke to a representative and had the charges removed. The accound was closed and I cut up the card.
Yet the next month the same charges appeared along with a late charge added. This bankrupt company should be run out of town.

Macy's Deceptive billing practices

I've paid Macy's in full and ending with a zero balance before the due date-they have sent be a bill for $2.00 of interest! How could this be when my balance was paid in full? This is deceptive and I've noticed other folks with same complaints. Also, If you're like me, I assume there is no zero balance because I KNOW I paid it in full, so, I wouldn't expect another bill. If the $2.00 balance is not paid you will get hit with a $40.00 late charge. Do you see where this is going?

Macy's Delivery

I ordered two dresses. I received one. On 7/13/20 the shipment info was sent to UPS. I contacted UPS and they stated that they did not physically receive anything from Macys. I sent numerous emails, sat on the phone for over 30 mins a couple of times and no agent picked up. I never had a problem receiving items from Macys before. This is ridiculous.
