The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I received a call from Jack Fisher, phone [protected] saying our timeshare had sold, a family had put down a deposit, and they would be handling the closing. He would send a purchase agreement, but first he needed a "deed deposit" in the amount of $1, 799 and asked for my credit card number. I told him I needed to see the contract first, but he said that was not the way they did business and he would go on to the next person who was trying to sell a Westgate Smoky Mountain timeshare if I wasn't interested. He was obviously aggravated at my reluctance. All bad signs. . .

I searched this company. It is not rated by the BBB, but the type of business shown by the BBB is "Timeshare Resale and Rental Marketing." Nothing about being a closing company.

I believe this is another scam, and I am wondering if anyone else has gotten this same shuck and jive from them.

I notified the Mt. Pleasant, SC police department about the attempt by Luxury Property Consultants to solicit money from me. The investigator visited their place of business - 1156 Bowman Road - and found it to be a "virtual office." They have no workspace at that location. Another scam attempt. DO NOT do business with this company.

Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about that problem. You should check out Uniform Bright in Riverside, CA. They are uniform rental consultants who get people out of contracts and help them win against the uniform rental companies. They help in arbitration, they make your case stronger and they help you cancel the right way.

We were contacted by Jack Fisher of Luxury Property Consultants also. He told us that our timeshare had sold, and we needed to send him the money for closing costs, in order for the sale to be final. He did get very aggravated with me, when I insisted on having some questions answered first, but he did finally answer them. Yes i was stupid enough to fall for it, and got screwed.

I have filed with Columbia, SC BBB, as to make a complaint. The BBB has told me, they can only post the complaint for consumers to see, and make every attempt to contact the company to remedy the situation.

I will tell you all, to be also wary of another lady named Lonnie Brown, who claims to work for Luxury Property consultants. She is a liar, beware of her.

We too have been caught up in this scam. Our experience is the same as those above. We're are also dealing with another company on selling our time share and Luxury knew that. They made it sound like they were a division of the other company. Eli Goldstein, telephone [protected], said he had a preapproved family and all we had to do was pay the $2099 deposit and he'd send the papers within 3 or 4 days Fed Ex for us to sign.I discussed at length the sale process and how leery I was over giving my credit card info. He assured me, and he was a smooth talker and very convincing, that I had no reason for concern. We received the papers within 4 days and signed and returned them. Levi called back a few days later and said everything was progressing but they needed another $1799 deed search fee. The guarantee from Eli Goldstein was that we'd receive our money within 45 days after the last set of forms were signed and they too were being Fed Exed. That was 10 days ago and we haven't received any forms. I've tried calling and leaving messages at his number and with customer service [protected]. The mail boxes are full so you can't leave a message. I am not easily duped and I cannot believe I fell for this. Talk about feeling dumb and stupid! Has anyone been successfull in recouping their money throug fraud claims? Any suggestions on how to proceed? What is the police's position on this? Signed, Dumb, Duped and Desperate

Was told we would receive our intial $2898.oo from another company and all we would need to do would be sign the contracts whi9ch they Fed-Ex'd to us. Nowhere in the contract did they say we would receive our intial money back, back they wanted $1499.00 up front to sell our timeshare. It said in the co0ntract that our vacation property would sell or rent within 120 days from the date executed, or Luxury Property Consultants would refund our money. I tried calling them and got a voice mail. I will not sign the contracts or send them any money. It is not the way business'es do transactions. Very dissappointed in them or who they are supposed to be. Will not do business with them, period.

I was contacted by Jack Fisher on Thursday 7/15/10 who told me my timeshare had sold for $4000 more than I had it listed for and also the two banked weeks I had were to be purchased by the new owners for $1900 each. I was asked for $1799.00 closing deposit plus another $300 for the two weeks for paperwork for a total of $2, 099 which I put on my credit card. Since I found this site I am getting off of here and calling my credit card company to stop that payment. Thought it sounded too good to be true as I have my timeshare listed with another company altogether. Don't know if this is a scam or not, fixing to find out though, thanks for all your comments

We also got a call on Friday from these people (and I use this term very loosley). They spoke to my wife and made a great pitch. Since we have our Time Share listed with a reliable company she thought she was talking to them. We were to have had delivered Monday of this week all of the "legal" paper work to perform this transaction. No FedEx, no return phone calls. Of course I canceled my CC and filed a complaint with them for fraud.

What is the next step to get our money back...without being scammed again?

I was contacted by this group with the same promises that they had sold the property and that they needed credit card info to secure $1799 "guarantee". A twist that I haven't seen in any other comments is that they said that someone (Karina?) would be in touch with me in a couple of days to help me recoup moneys that were spent on other scams. When "Karina" did call me, she said she was with some sort of Fraud investigation bureau that has been set up in Florida to help those who have lost money. I googled this and found that such a fraud investigation effort was underway in Florida / downloaded forms and other info. When I questioned "Karina" on this (her number was sourced to "Clear Channel Financial Office" in Boca Raton), she wasn't aware of the complaint forms or even knew the name of the Department of Agriculture Commissioner who is apparently the head of this effort. She then wanted to hook me up with a "agency" that would help me get my scammed money back for a 50% fee (and they wanted my credit card number too). These groups are getting much more sophisticated.

We just got a call too today. We recieved the same message. However they don"t take our card. I had listed with another selling company and they told us they were still working with this company. Ha.Hopefully we won't be in another scam.
