Lume deodorant
Every evening my husband and I are trying to unwind after a long day. We absolutely hate watching the lumi commercials! I wish someone would do something about it it's disgusting! The images and the contexts are repulsive! Please do something about this it's awful!
So inappropriate! We see it every night around 6:30 pm. Far too early for young children
Desired outcome: Take it off the air!!
Lume Deodorant

Desired outcome: Money back
Commercials
Lume Commercials should be 'banned' permanently and removed! What kind of Deviant Moran would approve sexual content talking about "Vaginas, Butts Cracks, Testicles, and Balls. This is shockingly explicit inappropriate content to be televised. Many people feel that it is wrong for kids to listen to explicit music; and yet television approves disgusting explicit commercials like "LUME" using such sex profanities, many are being imprisoned for watching porn, treated like animals, when released cannot seek employment, constantly being monitored, must report offenders, some are being shot and killed.
"LUME" you are coaching, and teaching our younger generation disgusting, vulgar, explicit, and offensive references to sex body odors; rude for the gratification of marketing and sales of your product!
I am in shock and offend by your values; where are your morals. I have decided to report, seek help from others in signing petitions to the highest of courts, White House Representatives, and Presidency to "Ban" your "LUME" Commercials'
Who performs the stink test anyway? For God's sake get rid of this woman in her dingy wife beater and her commercials off the air.. They are disgusting and offensive to women. Eat some yogurt a few times a weeks, take a shower, and you won't have vaginal issues.
Every time I see the ad where she wants to put lume between butt cheeks, it nauseates me. I’ve seen only two different ads, both with her greasy face, unkempt hair and her putrid crotch-talk and both of them make me sick and scream at the TV. In this case negative attention ISN’T good for sales just because people are talking about it. All you’re doing is turning people off to ever going near this or ANY future products you might pitch to the public. Creepy, sickening and GROSS.
lume is offenseive disgusting, imbarrassing. this commercial must be banned now. this women neefs help. ztick to your powder and democrats. use pure corn starch powder for the same aireas it does the same job.
The Lume commercial is disgusting and the "doctor" hawking this horrible rubbish should lose her license, however, corn starch is not a viable alternative. Neither corn starch nor baking soda are recommended for the vaginal area (by reliable sources, anyway). Talcum powder has been linked to ovarian cancer, as well. If vaginal odor is abnormal in any way, a medical provider should be consulted (but stay away from the Lume quack!)
This commercial is intentional leftist propaganda, derived from what is actually a very small minority of the population that believe it is not only acceptable - but important to force this type of language and conceptual imagery into everyone's homes - because this segment believe the following lie: Exemplifying class, modesty, and self-control is directly correlated to being ignorant of one's biological functions.
tbis women says she's a gynecologist? a good gynecologist would never come on tv to do a commercial so offensive. this is disgusting i have to turn my channel. your no gynecologist lady! your sick! you need help now! get off tv! i stick to my deodorant. they already have spray mist for those same areas to rid the oders. there in medical surgical supply stores and in hospitals and nursing homes.
These commercials are offensive and embarrassing!
I TURN THE CHANNEL!
The Lume commercials are on my list of the top 10 most offensive, most annoying commercials on the television circuit. I can only hope that their sales are so bad that they go bankrupt.
It is an uncomfortable commercial to watch. It’s embarrassing in front of other viewers in the room. It’s Just inappropriate. Children shouldn’t see this. The verbiage is distasteful.
This commercial is disgusting and makes me cringe…take it off sir.i am sick of seeing it constantly
Is this unbelievably offensive commercial saying that crotch-sniffing a profession? To provide the cited ‘statistics’, who does the actual ‘research’? Is Dr. Shannon wearing a wife-beater?
I hate this commercial! It makes me angry every time it comes on. If this woman doesn't like the way people smell, then perhaps she should find a career where she doesn't have her face jammed up in people"s private parts. She's repulsive as well.
We are so grossed out by the commercial. even my husband said its so vulgar and what does this teach our next generation to speak like. Utterly gross.
Commercial
Your commercial is the most disgusting and offensive to all women! How in the world could you conjure up such a humiliating offense towards all women...What you intended to get attention, absolutely got the wrong kind of attention, and you should be ashamed to have aired this. Have a little Finess and remove it...Especially the word Stinky, and holding feet in the air suggesting, all body parts stink! Very Poor Taste and decision, What, is Wrong with your Company? You need to take it Down ASAP. A Very Bad Image to Project, in the name of Trending...Worse than Appalling!
Desired outcome: Remove that Commercial
I’m appalled and offended that you can’t find humor in the commercials! And there are also men depicted in them too! Not only women.
I agree it’s appalling. I will not ever order this product. So sad that women’s bodies are always on the block for selling anything and everything. Just sad.
I totally agree on the disgust of this commercial..
It's always focused on women no less.
Take it the hell down...so appalling!
My God I change the channel when it comes on ..drop this [censored]..
Lume Deodorant - That 1950's blowback abuse of women "stinky crevices" propaganda
Ads like this are the direct cause - yes, it's been proven - of bulimia, life-long self-esteem problems, and relationships between men and women becoming less and less based on reality and more and more on dysfunctional, harmful expectations and behaviors. This ad is a direct attack on women and our self-esteem - and if you think I'm overreacting, I'm not...

Every time that commercial comes on it makes me lose my appetite I'm so tired of hearing about pits feet and private parts. It is so disgusting so gross to hear it every 5 minutes every commercial I have to listen to about people's deodorant for pits feet and private parts please take it off the damn air! I don't know how many times I can tell you I've heard this commercial and how many times I've gotten sick to my stomach!
Desired outcome: Commercial taking off the air
If you smell, if your "crevices" are stinky, this is a sign of some bad health condition that needs attention. Sometimes just a daily dose of vitamin A will handle that.
I like baking soda. I can't see paying this ridiculous price for a simple deodorant.
Lume deodorant commercial
Your commercial, Lume deodorant is very offensive. The way you display a deodorant for women's private parts is ESPECIALLY offensive. Either modify the commercial or remove it. I never saw a display so asinine! What is all that is good and holy would you show a display of women's parts in such a way. I never saw anything so offensive in all my life. So please either change or remove.
Desired outcome: Removal or change of Lume deodorant commercial!
Lume "deodorant' and the actress, extremely vulgar. This kind of common, no holds barred vulgarity seems to be the order of the day. WE need to STOP this ourselves with whatever tools we have available. It will only get worse.
There is a new one out now in September 2022, They are VERY offensive ,
This Lume broad must have a problem with her privates , We dont need to hear about it , Get these awful commercials off the air once and for all ,,,,,, HORRIBLE & EMBARRASSING..
Similarly, you might want to consider removing the comment on Warm Vanilla cream deodorant by Vanessa, 3/3/21, titled "Just Do It". This review is extremely inappropriate and offensive, bordering on X rated, and does NOT belong online.
Order not fulfilled
I ordered almost 70$ worth of your product over a month ago tracking never told me anything. I wrote to customer service several times to be told it must of got lost would resend. Two weeks later now there is no record of order, no product, no shipping tracking number. I have just been robbed basically. Why is it taking almost 2 months and no one to speak to? My emails that were sent back and forth thru lume customer service just disappeared as well. Seems as if this is just a giant scam.
Desired outcome: ANSWERS AND A PHONE NUMBER TO ACTUALLY SPEAK WITH A HUMAN
Customer service
Hi,
The only way to reach out to Lume is through email. On July 16th, having received a bottle of laundry spray that had a broken seal and emptied into the box, I emailed Lume with pictures. Today I received an automated reply that did not address my issue. The products are good, the customer service is not up to the level of the products. There should be a way to reach an actual customer service representative.
Thank you,
Natalie Cerasuolo

Deodorant
I place an order for a stick of deodorant beginning of June. I got a message on June 7th saying it shipped. It is now June 28th and I still don't have my product. I have emailed the company 3 times and never got a response. The tracking number/system doesn't work because for 2 weeks now all it states is "June 7th in transit". Order number: S3268467 to New Hope, PA. I would like you to either ship me another stick of deodorant or give me my money back please.

Ms Hummel,
A helpful comment: may I suggest proofreading "Grammarly is an app that you may find helpful". On June 28, 2021, you wrote "I place an order for a stick of deodorant beginning of June." since you are describing something you did in the past, you should use the past tense: you placed (with a "d") an order...
Regards, P
Really u corrected her grammar ? What’s wrong with u ?
Order
I placed an $84.23 order on June 4th at 10:08pm EST. The message on their automated email has a disclaimer saying "Orders are currently taking 5-7 business days to process." The 15th should have been the last day it would ship according to THEIR response.
June 9th I recieved this automated email:
"We are currently experiencing delays due to the high volume of orders and the additional precautions we're taking in our distribution centers.
If you have not received your order yet, we want to tell you that we have not forgotten about your order. Your order will be processed and shipped as soon as possible." I emailed on June 14th saying I would like to just cancel my order. ANOTHER automated email response saying:
"A Lume team member will respond to your email as soon as we are able (our current estimated response time is 4-5 business days.)"
MANY comments through social media where they give you automated responses like "we would love to look into this for you." Blah, blah, blag. Zero communication from them on any platform in resolving my issue. At this point my money is stolen and I will be reporting to the BBB and disputing the charge.
I will not support a company like this.
Smells like rotten meat
This stuff STINKS. It smells so bad that I had to take off my nightshirt, change it, and wash off the supposed deodorant. It's "preservative free" and is, in my opinion, a scam. It is obviously spoiled, which means bacteria!
Who can use putrid smelling cream? Not me! It was expensive too.
Desired outcome: Refund
You bought something in hopes that "annoying non showered looking lady" on a commercial would stop "talking about it on my tv". Is this a joke? What is wrong with people, then you complain when the product is b.s, you couldn't of looked up a review? Instead you write a letter on complaints board and you take every person's time. Thanks for that...
This stuff smells so bad it took weeks for it to get out of my brain memory. I threw it all out and I still have memory of the smell planted in my brain cells. I don’t even know why I bought it. Maybe I had hoped if I bought it, it would finally stop that annoying non showered looking lady talking about putting it on every part of her body from talking about it on my TV. Now I just mute her. Omg that was the most putrid smell I have ever experienced in my life
I must agree with th terrible odor of the deodorants. My wife uses the products. When she applies it I have to go to another part of the house as the smell nauseates me. It remibdes me of stables needing cleaning.I even gets hints of the odor later in the day.
She doesn't seem to notice the smell and I don't make much about what I experience as she is very self conscious about BO.
I prefer to not upset her of this because I might be hyper sensitive to the odor.
Hopefully something can be done to reduce this odor.
Unfulfilled order
I received a digital receipt on my placed order on March 14th. I messaged lume on 23rd and informed them of my order number S2492117 as well as my address 2317 SW 82nd st. Oklahoma, OK 73159 United States. My response was crickets. I've noticed that on the positive reviews on Facebook people get an immediate response. I really look forward to trying this product. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Would like to receive my unfulfilled order in a timely manner
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Deodorant
They told me they restock the items returned... i.e. Sell again... Supposedly just the ones still sealed. I think there are health laws about that. I knew a lady years ago who would use a product, then perfectly replace the "seal" so precisely that no one would knowdeceptive,
Deceptive?!? They wouldn't post my honest review. Their website boasts 5 stars out of 5 stars based upon 700+ reviews… is that possible? Not even one review with a tiny complaint that would bump it down to 4 stars... Nope
3.7 stars was the best overall review I found for their product on other review sites
Money back guarantee fine print when I asked how/where to return….. They told me they had tried to be transparent about this "money back guarantee"... Smoking mirrors. You can get your money back on one product sealed minus the return shipping charges and some kind of charge for the other product opened or not.
My experience
Purchased. Ads really catchy... Couldn't wait for my lume. Money back guarantee"in huge font at bottom of site with tiny print below that refers to link on next page - great but certainly I wouldn't need it, right? Who reads fine print when you expect to love the product?
Money back guarantee (ha) nightmare. Both the lume roller and the lume tube sold as a set. I followed the directions perfectly. Each time I used it I would get a terrible headache. No big deal, probably allergic to the scent (all natural? Hummm). Mainly, my underarms & especially my"lady parts"underwear look like I have lady part dandruff yuk, yuk, yuk?!? The product looks like powder when it dries... No problem…money back guarantee, right?!? Fine print based on"policy" a small portion of money refunded and the next clueless consumer gets my rejected product restocked
offensive, lude, tasteless
I was informed that by tracking my package was delivered on sat30 but i did not get it need someone to contact me at [protected] Nancy Weatherford. Please i need to know something asap.
Disgusting and crude with the most disgusting person selling the product
Plays too much on TV
I try to avoid it but it plays too much
Honrst to God, clean up your advertising. It's disgusting. A lot of us have kids that don't need to hear about semen leaking out of anyone's vagina for days after sex. Who designed these ad campaigns?

received package by USPS. The order was 1 peony deodorant and 1peony body deodorant.
Body deodorant tube was cut almost in two along the top edge.
All contents were spilled out into the packing bag.
I received package on today, July 31, 2023 package ID M103117703763520 mailed from Louisville Kentucky.
I used the deodorant that caused a terrible rash! I had to go to the doctor to get any relief, the company wanted to say that I didn't know how to use the product and that it was my fault, you can't tell me it's all natural if it breaks you out. I don't have sensitive skin at all.
I do not want to see any Lume commercials ! I find them crude! I will not watch the program that pays Lume to advertise such
My armpit is red and swollen. And had puss coming out of if. My skin is peeling . I used lume for a month . I’m experiencing the worst chemical burn I had to go to urgent care. I’m so regretful of coming across this product
I feel sorry for the man who is married to the woman on the Lume commercial.

You want to remove bad commercials...start with "bent carrot".
My kids are old enough to know what the carrot represents and so now they won't eat carrots or any other phallic shaped vegetable that they use to represent a man's bent penis. Honestly it's about time women get some products made to address her issues. They have spent enough time playing with their dicks.
I think I’m a little late to the party. I see that these commercials have been going on for a few years. I just started seeing them pop up recently and I agree. These commercials are just completely disgusting. They’re not funny at all and they make the woman who’s doing the commercial supposedly a doctor look incredibly stupid. These are no better than the boys commercials they used to have or the pooping commercials. I don’t know why people think it’s funny I am far from a prude they’re just not funny they’re just disgusting and offensive. If you want it to be funny then get somebody who is funny to write them.
My best friend let me smell her Lume deodrant.. I think she had the fruity fragrance. when I smelled it it started out smelling like fruit. Then all of a sudden when I took a smell a second time. It gave off a discussing Foul smell that smelled like unwashed butt. I wouldn't recommend this product at all. It has a horrible smell. The people who made it should be shamed of there self for even promoting this product.
I absolutely agree. These commercials are vulgar, insulting, inappropriate, embarrassing and down right offensive. I certainly believe a woman knows if she is having a problem and she is capable of taking care of it without involving everyone around to participate. Have some class, if you don’t know what that is look it up, and remove this crap from our airwaves!
Agree 100%!
