Lowe's Firepit table

I purchased a firepit table from your orchard park store in May 2020 and last October it started on fire inside next to the tank. I connector broke off inside and almost Killed me, I needed to replace some parts of the wiring and gas connector I called the manufacturer and they sent me the wrong parts and in fact they don't apparently sell the replacement parts for what i need. They wanted me to send the parts back at a cost to me to ship most likely 25.00 and they would not refund the shipping to me. So I can send back pay another 25.00 and get 20.00 back but now I'm left with the shipping all the way around. Allen and Roth is a terrible company who doesn't give a s**t about anyone. The supervisor at Allen and Roth offered nothing. I called your customer service team got a call back and an apology. That's great doesn't do anything for me. I need to call the BBB and rate your company as well as Allen and Roth very poor. BTW I spent 400.00 on this table which now is a pile of crap. If you want to do something before I have start the process you can refund me the cost of the firepit table I doubt you will.

Lowe's Kobalt lawnmower

So I was on the phone with the service & warranty department just now. I had patiently been working with a young girl named Blessing to resolve my issue. She had put me on hold Again and I somehow was connected to some associate somewhere who knew nothing about what was going on, I hung up. I am 62yrs old, have Lupus and several other health problems. I never feel good and am in constant pain. I am so upset with this situation although it seemed as if Blessing and her supervisor just about had it resolved but I knew I'd Never get them back once the connection was lost. I bought my mower at Lowes and I emailed this letter and the lease. This mess is not my fault! I was just doing what one of the associates in warranty told me. What was going to take 2 days has turned into weeks. Here is the email... I bought my mower through Progressive Leasing so I called them and they sent me the contract. As you can see the items are not broken down but she assured me the 2yr protection plan was included. I hope and pray we get this straightened out because the young girl I talked to last week told me that I would be getting a Voucher in my email to take to Lowes for a full refund but I explained to her that I would use the Voucher to replace my other mower. I ask her about where to take the non-working mower once I entered Lowes and she said I didn't have to bring it back, just keep it or throw it away. Since she told me all of this and I have very limited room in my small home, I put it up to the road. It's GONE! I'm so upset, I'm beside myself. I never would have done something so stupid but she told me Lowes wouldn't want it.

If I understand you correctly, you have two mowers -- a Kobalt you purchased from Lowe's and some other mower you had setting around. i.e. "...but I explained to her that I would use the Voucher (sic) to replace my other mower..."

What, then, is the problem?

Lowe's Botched countertop installation

I contracted a countertop installation through Lowes specifically because I was sure that if there were any issues, Lowes would take care of them. I was wrong.

I should have seen the red flags when it took several months for the contractor to return my calls about scheduling a measurement appointment. After that, I was able to schedule the installation date. I was told it would be a 1-day project.

For the installation date, they gave an arrival window of 8am to 4pm. I was a little surprised they would give that big of a window given that it was a pretty big "1-day" project, but I made sure my husband was there at 8am (we live 2.5 hours away from the project site). The installers finally arrived at noon and did not leave until 1am! Needless to say, my husband now had to take 2 days off of work instead of just one.

The morning after the install, now being light out, it was clear that the installers did a pretty shoddy job. Not only were there over 30 scratches on the countertops, there were cracks in the corners by the sink cut out and the cook top cut out. One end of our granite backsplash was almost 2 inches short, the seams were horribly done over the cook top... it was a disaster.

As disappointing and frustrating as it was, I still had faith that Lowes would handle it. I contacted their customer service and they scheduled a "fix" to come out. Again, another day off work for my husband. The guy who came out to assess and fix the errors was overwhelmed and told us that he could only fill the scratches today. After contacting Lowes customer service again, they had me send them photos of the work. I called daily to get updates and didn't hear from them for weeks. I finally just heard from them saying they will not be sending the contractors out again and they would not be giving me any discount on the project. She also threw in there that if I didn't pay, they would be sending me to collections. I was just so shocked at this whole response.

I am so disappointed and feel so swindled after this whole ordeal. I literally went with Lowes only because I knew there would not be an issue like this, yet here we are. I've been patronizing Lowe's for years and years and I'm just shocked that it came down to this even when I was willing to work with them on a solution.

Desired outcome: Lowes acknowledge that the contractor they used did a bad job and work with me on a solution (monetarily)

Lowe's Lowe's Protection Plan

I have spent hours on phone trying to schedule a repair on my washing machine I purchased from Lowe's with a protection plan.

The machine broke. I contacted their 888# for schedule a repair but what an ordeal:

After spending 1 hour on Friday on hold, someone finally came on but I couldn't complete the call. So I called back and waited then 2 hours. Finally got a person, scheduled the repair for yesterday, Monday, May 16th.

No one showed up on Mondy to repair the appliance. No one called either.

Now 2 more hours on the phone, waiting in a cue because whichever call center they are using in India is always "experiencing a higher than usual call volume".

Can someone give me some kind of customer service that doesn't involve all of the above?

Desired outcome: 1) don't make it necesary for a customer to have to wait 3 hours to speak to someone 2) after schedule a service for a specific date, ensure that actually happens.

Lowe's Service and delivery

Purchased 120 mason blocks on May5th 2022. Was told delivery would be the13th. On May 10th I received a call asking if they could deliver that day. I agreed and the girl told me she would call me back. I never heard back and after calling every day unit May the 17th I still do not have my block and can not get a manager at this store to call me back.

They did say they had driver issues. I understand that no problem, however when a customer calls for 6 days straight and can't get his supplies he paid for or a call back about the delivery that's a management problem that needs to be addresses by corporate.

Not once was I asked or given an option to keep me as a Lowes customer.

Lowe's Damaged Door

Order #[protected]

We ordered the door and had it shipped. Once we received the door and was able to inspect it, we noticed that on both sides of the door frame, there are chunks of wood missing from where the delivery had it strapped to the box truck. It is not on just one side of the door but both. There is no way of fixing this but to have to purchase new trim work to replace it.

Lowe's Delivery failure

Ordered an EGO Power+ Lawn Mower (LM2135sp) online from the Matamoros, PA store. It was delivered used, with grass and dirt on all the parts. I called to have it replaced and was told it came from the newton, NJ store. Called newton and spoke with the delivery manager, Victoria. She promised the used mower would be picked up the next day (Sunday) but could not deliver a new mower until the used one was received or I purchased a new mower. I refuse to purchase a second mower because they were at fault. No one came to pick up the used mower on Sunday and I called back and spoke to Jessica, the operations manager, because deliver was closed for the day. Jessica promised to call me back when she 'figured' out what happened. She never did. I called back Monday and Jessica is out and no one is picking up in delivery.

This is unacceptable customer service. Why am I doing all this work for your mistakes?

Desired outcome: I want my new mower delivered ASAP. I want the used mower picked up ASAP. and you what? I want compensation for my trouble too.

Lowe's Unable to change address after shipment

I have noticed that my old address was on my order when I received the shipping information. I called to have it changed and they will not change it because it was shipped. But it is just the label created and not in the hands of FedEx. They are telling me to wait until it is delivered and dispute the charge. FedEx allows delivery address to be changed but it has to come from the shipper. Not sure why Lowes would not make sure they have a way to change addresses for shipment.

Lowe's Pine trees

To whom it may concern:

I purchased 4 small pine trees at the Medford Lowe’s store. A year has passed and the trees barely are growing and seem half dead.

I take special care of all my plants in my garden and find it shocking that they are in this condition!

I've been giving them the proper amount of food and fresh water.

So I decided to stop by Medford Lowe’s and explained the situation, along with my tags and receipt, and the cashier, tried to help by scanning the tags to reimburse me, but no luck. The cashier then proceeded to get the manager.

The manager really did not help much, to my surprise he loudly blamed me of careless keeping, stating that I must of neglected them by not watering them enough. I was upset, embarrassed, and annoyed, all at the same time of his insinuations.

That's why I'm contacting Lowe’s Corporate, I have confidence that hopefully you can either reimburse me or replace the damaged trees.

Your efforts will be gladly appreciated!

Lowe's Dishwasher

My father purchased a brand new dishwasher from lowes 1.5 years ago. Has had many issues with it. Now it broke again and parts were recalled. Now all of a sudden all parts are on back order. He filed a complaint with lowes corporate. Calls back today and no case was listed. So now my parents have an expensive dishwasher that has not worked in month.

Lowe's Delivery & store communications

May 13, 2022:

I want to report the Pompano Beach Store and their inability to deliver merchandise when you (the store) and the delivery company agreed to deliver. I purchased $13,000 of appliances and carpet that I have cancelled as of today in person myself with the store manager for failure of delivery at the stated committed time. This was the hair that broke the camels back that lead to a total breakdown on my part. I will be cancelling my newly opened Lowes account and I will never shop in your store again!

BTW, the Pompano Beach store also needs a person to answer the phone. I called 4 times yesterday, they never answered the line the first 3 calls and the 4th call, when your Corporate office forwarded me to the store, they picked up the receiver and hung it up without saying a word!

I’m addition, your computer system tracking orders needs help (and I have a friend that this very thing happened to earlier this week in an Orlando area store). When I called the Corporate office for help they could not locate my order by my telephone number, insisting I gave the store a different number. I spoke with a manager last night in the Pompano store and he also could not find my order via my phone number! Both of them could only pull the order up through the delivery system.

PS: This is not the first time that we have had delivery issues with your company, but the third. The last store that had delivery issues was located in Big Rapids MI. I vowed to write a complaint on that store, and I let it go. This time I’ve submit the complaint and will not allow myself to be put in that position again by your Company.

Lowe's 4 year EPP purchased on Apr 28, 2019

I purchased a Husqvarna Garden tractor from Lowes and opted for the 4 year EPP. Little did I know that the Lowes Plan only kicks in after the manufacturer warranty expires, Husqvarna warranty is bumper to bumper for 3 years. So in essence I paid $369.97 for one year of warranty and can't even use it as of today.

On May 11, 2022 I needed to file a claim and called their EPP # [protected]. On May 11, 2022 I held for over one hour and never was connected with a rep, but was told via recording how important my call was.

On May 12, 2022 I have been on hold for over 45 minutes and waiting.

What good does does purchasing something do if you can't use it.

I am beyond frustrated, and an considering entering a complaint with my CC complaint or asking for a refund.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE AN EPP FROM LOWES AGAIN.

Lowe's Lowe's Protection

I have been trying to schedule an appointment for service on my Samsung Range. I have been placed on hold each time. I bought the Samsung Range in 2016. The oven has been giving me problems for about two years. Last year a repairman was sent out, but belittled me and said that nothing was wrong with the oven. My Protection Plus is over in June and why should I renew if I cannot get service? You can bet that My appliances will be bought somewhere other than Lowes from now on. I have been a loyal customer since the store opened in Milledgeville.

Lowe's Protection plan

I have protection plan with lowes for my main appliances. Everything was fine until march. My refrigerator is not cooling in jan and I was able to schedule a repair and now again its not working. When I try to file a claim they could not identify my account and customer service team is reporting because they have new system.

My food was spoiled and I dont have any place to keep my food and facing so much problem after I paid for protection plan. No body is providing me a service then what is the use of protection plan. I want this issue resolved asap because I could not store my food. I have kids and its getting very tough for me to manage.

Call whom ? The customer care team not able to find my account itself not sure why and asking for my order number . I purchased this in store and I don’t have receipts. Lowes system can’t pull information with my phone number ? Until March they can see my account but now they are not finding and it’s not my problem . I have protection plan Id and before claim Id still they are asking about only one thing where I don’t have that order number

I know it must seem daunting but your personal information is protected through this website-and rightfully so.

I keep a digital copy of all my receipts so I can supply most needed information, but if you don't, they'll assist. Try to have a little more patience and call the number I've provided. They'll work with you to find the information and make a claim to have a service provider out.

The alternative is just to go out and buy a new fridge.

You purchased a protection plan to get assistance when you had a problem with your product. But the assistance only comes by working with the warranty provider; it doesn't come by doing nothing.

That number is available to specifically do what you're asking.

Is it possible that the fridge is no longer under warranty? Is it possible that your recollection is incorrect and you either didn't purchase an extended warranty or even make the purchase at Lowe's?

Let's try this from a little different direction. What form of payment did you use to make the purchase?

Lowe's Dishwasher Warranty

Bought a 5 year warranty with the dishwasher in 2019. In February of this year, the upper rack collapsed and the front wheels on the top rack both broke off. They were held on using a plastic axle.

Called for service and waited. Called again 4 weeks later and was told that there were no ISP's in my area, but they were putting in the request again and I would hear back within 10 business days.

Called again 3 weeks later and was told that my dishwasher did not qualify for warranty work as the breaking of the top rack was normal wear and tear. Then the agent told me that when the service technician came out to the house that was how they determined this. I told the agent that NO SERVICE TECH had been out to the house yet. She checked and said that she found that was true but the records said that the upper rack breaking was just a part of normal wear and tear and that they would send a tech out to examine it and let us know for sure if it was not covered.

Called on 2022-04-26, and Angela told me that they had requested an ISP visit 3 times and all 3 were rejected because the ISP's were at capacity, so she would escalate the case and have the dishwasher replaced. She said I would be hearing back from an escalation manager within 48 hours.

It's 14 days later, I have been on hold with the service center again for 32 minutes and have no heard from ANYONE at Lowe's.

Have had Lowe's warranties for years, and this is the ONLY time you've completely failed at honoring the warranty. Everyone along the way has dropped the ball here.

Desired outcome: Give us our money back or give us the credit so we can buy another dishwasher by the end of this week. Also would like the money paid for the warranty back as it did not live up to its promise.

Lowe's Whirlpool dishwasher

Purchased 8/20/2020 and the motor died within a year. It took almost THREE months to get a qualified tech to replace it. It's now less than a year and the dishwasher does not work - possibly the motor again. Called Lowes @[protected] over 3 weeks ago - waited a week to hear from them after giving them all data (they never called back) - and then called last week to find out there was no claim made. Gave ALL the data again, said they would notify me in a day or two ... and still haven't hears. Today, I am waiting on hold, going on 1.5 hours ... and am totally frustrated. I've paid for a protection plan, but it seems useless is nobody cares to help me - and I have to spend hours spinning my wheels and getting zero satisfaction. Do you think someone can PLEASE help me? Whirlpool makes a well respected line of dishwashers. This line spans from 300 series to 500, 700 and even 900 series units. Because you haven't provided your exact model of dishwasher I'm unable to address the issue specifically. As a rule of thumb, any model lower than a 530 series is considered builders grade. These models are less expensive but do not offer the performance or longevity of better models.

It's frustrating when one has to address any product not operating the way one might expect. In order to qualify for replacement, under most service protection programs, one must generally have the product fail four attempts to be serviced. Even though you may think the issue is the same as you had 18 months ago, it is just as likely to not be. It's worth have an authorized service technician take a look.

1/31/21 reported failure

A repair technician ordered 2 parts to repair but after weeks/months of waiting the part (washer clutch) is unavailable.

Per A&E the designated repair company, the parts needed to repair my machine are no longer available. I purchased the warranty for about $300, and now have spent over $300 to get laundry done. PLEASE HELP! I need my washer to be repaired, replaced or refunded.

That's an extremely nice washer. It must be frustrating to have it not operational.

Fortunately, what you've been told by your servicer is not absolutely correct. Parts are still being produced for the unit even though they may be on backorder at the present time. The global pandemic has created quite the issue making some parts readily available at all times.

Lowe's Napolean Propane Grill/Online Purchase

I researched propane grills and eventually decided that a five-burner w/side sear station was the best fit for me. I did further research and found that Lowes carried the Napolean brand grills. My wife communicated this information to my immediate family and they each pitched in for my last two birthdays and 2021 gifts. Together I was gifted a total of five $250 Lowes gift cards. I then decided on the exact model I wanted, Napolean Rogue XT #RXT625SIBPSS-1-A. I then went to the service desk at the local Lowes in Victoria, TX - store #282 and placed the order on 4/28/22, see attached transaction receipt. The ETA for store pickup assigned was 5/6/22. I received a call from Lowes #282 late Wednesday night and immediately thought "my grill has arrived two days early". Unfortunately, the call was to inform me that the grill was unavailable and would not be available ever again. As it was late, I decided not to comment much on the phone. I drove to the same service desk the following afternoon and requested to speak with the manager. The young man was helpful but informed me that the desired grill would no longer be carried by Lowes. I then asked him to look for an alternate four-burner Napolean grill. We located an alternate grill online so I requested we order this version. The manager then informed me that we would be unable to order anything online due to the card being issued me, apparently it is issued for in store credit only. I asked him to convince me and help me understand why I was being penalized for nothing due to my fault. I then asked him to give me a phone number for the Lowes Corporate Office. While still in the Lowes parking lot I called the number and spoke with a lady. She was no further help as she stated the same thing. I asked her also to help me understand why I used gift cards (which can be used for online purchases) and was being victimized by being issued an in store credit. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience for me. All I ask is that my request be honored for the propane grill of my desire.

Desired outcome: To be able to make an online purchase of an alternate Napolean grill as attached.
