Lowe's Whirlpool Fridge

Fridge stopped working on 7/22/24, contacted Lowes warranty (Assurant) on 7/24/23 and claim was approved on 7/26/23.

Local technician was sent to my address twice and the guy stated new parts will be needed to fix the problem. I was told the parts will be mailed to my address within 10 working days, and was to contact the technician the minute the part was shipped to me. its been over two months without the parts. I have contacted them on numerous occasions and they keep telling me my case is still pending.

The last time I contacted them was today, 9/12/23 and it dawned on my they are giving me the run around and really do not have any intention of fixing the fridge.

I was informed I will have to wait till the part is available. The worse thing is they never give any update either by Email or phone, unless you contact them and even at that, they give you same nonchalant "we are working on your claim" response.

Desired outcome: Replacement of the appliance or refund of my money.

Lowe's Paint spill in Auto caused from gallon not being properly sealed by employee

Claim for damages to Auto caused by Lowe’s

Employee Error

(Time Line Summary 2023)

July 17 A gallon of special mix white paint purchased at Low’s turned over in back of customers Infinite SUV. Entire contents of gallon of paint emptied on floor of auto because paint can lid was improperly sealed.

July 17 Incident reported to Lowe’s employee Kevin Almazan (Staff Administrator) with photos and was told to get repairs and bring the bill to Lowes

August 11 The Paid bill from Infinite dealership was taken to Lowes and given to Kevin Almazan with full documentation of the incident with pictures of damage before repairs.

August 14 Contact from claims adjuster, J Mese Stanley with Sedgwick Insurance co. was received in a text indicating they would be representing Lowes and gave me a claims # 2A239BLTSJ-0001.

August 24 After waiting approximately 10 days with no contact from claims representative, I contacted Ms. Stanley who said she received no documentation on this claim from Lowes and therefore could not take action on claim.

August 24 That same day I called and talked to Robert Hartfield (Assistant Manager) regarding documentation and he assured me he would make sure she received it.

August 25-29 Subsequently, Ms. Stanley after leaving multiple messages would not return Mr. Teter’s phone calls.

August 29 With no communications on my claim, I delivered a Demand letter for damages to Robert Hartfield asking him to forward to Lowes representative Ms. Stanley with Sedwick Insurance.

August 30 Forwarded all documentation to Lowe’s Central Office and to Sedgwick Claims Department

Desired outcome: Lowe's should pay for damages

Lowe's Credit card lost

I just got off the phone to report my card being loss thinking its a simple issue, apparently not.. First they want all my info ss#, ph#, where I lost it anybody have access to it then after all that she wants to send me a ink to somewhere I then link onto it on my phone and it leads me to no where... To verify its me who filing the loss... So I told her its not working then she has me on hold to then comes back and tell me to try it again... I told her im 70 yrs old and im computor illiterate, I then asked to speak to her supervisor because were not getting anywhere... Then after another 10 minutes no supervisor answer im a great custmer of lowes I pay on time, I spend thousands and this is nuts this is simple you cancel the original credit card, then re issue a new one you have my address then put all these obstacles in place very disappointed I can easily go to home depot with a lot less hassle

Desired outcome: simple cancel my credit card and issue a new one is that so hard further get rid of these needless obstacles

I'm so very sorry Mr. Duby.

We don't take your frustration lightly, nor do we want to see you upset.

Many things these days require the use of technology -- otherwise we wouldn't be using credit cards at all and strictly be a cash and carry society.

Hang in there with the process and contact card services back. It's important your card loss is reported correctly or you could be responsible for transactions you didn't make.

Lowe's Delivery of vanities

I ordered (2) 72" vanities online from Lowes (order #[protected]). They were delivered by Estes Freight. I was unaware anyone was at the house. The vanities were left sitting in the yard. I was not contacted at all to advise when the delivery would be made. I had to pay to have the vanities put inside the house. They were very heavy. It rained the same day they were delivered. This is not acceptable service from Lowes or Estes.

Lowe's Order #[protected] cancelled

I ordered kilz paint on sept 7 th 2023 and cancelled it the same day as oil based paint is no longer sold in Illinois . I live in Galesburg , ill the text that was sent to me says it is ready to pick up in Chicago 8411 South Holland Road. first of all l cancelled it the same day and I would not order anything that would require me to drive to Chicago to pick anything up. I would like to have my card credited for the amount of those 2 gallons of paint. I don't understand what is going on PLEASE HELP.

Lowe's Window installation

In the early part of October 2022, I purchased 10 windows from Lowes in Lithonia GA. The Lowes install team came to my home a few days later to take the measurements, they came to install the windows in February 2023. During the installation, they discovered that two of the windows was mismeasured, and promised to come back in a few days with the corrected measurements, that was seven months ago, and I still don't have my new windows. I have paid for the windows and I am very disappointed, and confused as to why my windows aren't installed as of this day? Lowe's Lack of repair on washer

My washing machine broke on 5/27/23, (washer was just under 2 years old), since then I have been dealing with Lowes Protection Plan Plus. I have been trying to resolve this issue with Lowes (over 100 days) my machine has not worked one day, I have had 6 service calls and they are unable to fix the washer. As of this date 9/8/23 Lowes is refusing to refund or replace my machine. We are at a standstill. I'm not sure what my next step is but I do not recommend working with Lowes, Assurant or Sears (all involved in the repair of this product).

Lowe's Installation cancelled with no contact on the day it was coming!

Lowes needs help with installing a water heater!

I suffered great stress and at 76 years old for the store being so indifferent to even tell me that they were not selling or installing the water heater was shocking and leaving me no alternative!

I had to find, a plumber to aid me, that was not surprised that lowe was doing this to me!

He was great and I recommend him for all.

I will not be going to loews in the future and telling all I know about what they did!

Lowe's Warranty service contract for major appliance

Just wanted to inform consumers Lowes has zero interest in customer satisfaction. They are still having major staffing issues at their store in Plymouth MN. We purchased a new Samsung refrigerator on August 7th and picked up the unit on 8/8. We knew exactly what we wanted, unit was on the floor we simply needed an associate to right up the paperwork. After an hour they sent the flooring manager over to complete the transaction. We asked about the extended warranty and cost etc and he had no idea since appliances were not his area of expertise but he said not to worry as we had 30 days to obtain the warranty. We didn't get around to installing the fridge right away but did return to the store on two other occasions to purchase the warranty. Each time we were met with sorry we have no staff to help at the moment if you can wait we will find someone. Well before we knew it many days had passed. I called the store and they transferred me to appliances and yea we had an associate. He explained the cost etc and we said lets go with it. He said we should review the plan to make sure it fits then call back and we can take care of the purchase. I was hesitant but made the fatal mistake to call back. We didn't know that our only chance of obtaining the warranty was that very moment and surprise to us it was the very last day to purchase the warranty. Of course nobody answered the phone ever again and management sent us to some 800 warranty line where no purchases can be made. Once you hit 30 days no exceptions can be made period. Corporate refused to help, store manager refused to help. Sure, my fault because I should have started calling two weeks before the 30 days was up and hopefully someone would have answered the phone. Bottom line, the company cannot retain staff so they expect the consumer to take care of their problems. We are 100% done with that store. The only time I will be shopping their is when they are boarding the place up.

Desired outcome: Sell us the warranty for our fridge and stop jerking us around.

Lowe's Wrong items delivered

Purchased two countertops online, after researching for the correct assembly.

I needed a 10ft RH and a 6ft LH, so they butt up together. A week had passed with no status. I finally went store after being told it was available for pickup. The items in the holding aisle were not the items I ordered. I brought this error to the salesman in the kitchen dept, We both went to the aisle and he saw the dicrepancies. He assured me it would be resolved. Two days later I get a call claiming the countertops I ordered were available for delivery, that i had to pay for...because? They delivered the same items that was in the aisle that was iincorrect. I called customer care immediately and they assured me that I would be contacted within 24 hours. Never happened, so I called again aafter waitng 30 minutes again until I got a custmer care associate. So I was told again that the matter would be elevated to resolve issue. And to top off the BS and runaround Im getting from LOWES, the deliverers left the formica countertops right on the ground in my driveway, no shoring, no protection, and found both had beechipped on the ends, this BS, last time I do business with LOWES, sale or no SALES, no more

Lowe's Failure to meet service plan commitment

Purchased Maytag washer MVW7232hwo in August 2021. Purchased extended service plan covering till 2026. Five weeks ago failed to drain tub. Service technician made three service calls replacing pump and then circuit board. In both cases failure to drain continued. Technician determined not cost effective to repair. Lowe's extended service plan organization continues to maintain their service technician has not reported inability to repair.and has refused to replace the detective washer. They have refused to provide number or Email address so I can confirm technician has provided his report to correct address. He confirmed he had provided the report twice. I have given up on Lowe's meeting it's commitment. I emailed your CEO last week recommending he review the corporate policies on extended service plans. Have not heard back from his staff. In the past I have purchased numerous items from.Lowe's and always had good experiences. Not so much any more. Number associated with extended service plan is [protected].

Lowe's Refrigerator deliveries

Our Kenmore refrigerator was no longer cooling. We went to Lowe's in Lebanon and purchased a LG refrigerator. However Lowe's in Lebanon sent us to East Lancaster store who apparently had it in stock. We went and purchased it. It was delivered 2 days later and hooked up. It didn't cool. So after multiple calls, Lowe's came and rempved it the following Wednesday. The water hose was never capped off therefore causing a problem. Lowe's could n't send anyone out there fore I had notified a plumber who came out and fixed the problem. A new refrigerator was delivered the day after Labor Day and it was dented. We cancelled our order and we should be refunded our money. I am requesting a refund of $89.00 which was the cost of the plumber.

Lowe's Refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s on 9/1/2023. It was delivered to my home on 9/3/2023. The one delivery employee removed the water line from the shut off valve without turning the shut off valve off which caused water to leak onto my laminate flooring and into my basement.

The Whirlpool refrigerator that was delivered has a squeaky door ( sounds like nails on a chalk board) every time the door’s opened. I called twice to try and resolve this to no avail. I’m going yo fold a complaint with the BBB and the Offive of Attorney General if this is not relived timely.

Desired outcome: I want my home inspected for water damage and a new door installed.

Lowe's New refrigerator not working after delivery.

Waited for delivery over a month for a refrigerator that was "in stock". No show no call first delivery. 3 weeks later stove and refrigerator were delivered. Stove & refrigerator turned on. Was told to wait 24 hours for cooling. Never went below 80 degrees. Local lowes solution. They can pick it up and we wait 4 weeks for a new one. Or "just buy another refrigerator". We planned for 6-12 hours of food cooling, but will most likely loose most of it. Nothing they can do. "Buy another refrigerator". This is a small town, lowes is the only appliance place. Such poor customer service. We are so frustrated. Not even a chance for a comprable exchange.

Desired outcome: New refrigerator asap. Not waiting 4 weeks. An even exchange would be fine.
