I went on 3 group tours and 2 individual tours of Ukraine with AFA. I met my wife through AFA. The vast majority of guys who post negative reviews about this agency are keyboard Romeos - they'll never get on an airplane to meet the women in person. You can't have a real relationship if you don't go travel and meet them in person. Advice to other men looking for a soul mate and life partner/wife. I see comments on chats that the men are upset with having to spend $200 in a month for emails to the ladies. If they are complaining about $200/month they should not be looking to distant countries for a wife. I spent over $2500 in emails per month, within 1 1/2 months of starting writing I spent $4000 for airline tickets, hotels and extras to meet her. A man cannot budget cheap in finding a wife as a soul mate is priceless and extremely rare. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR MARRIAGE SITE - I found my soul mate/wife on it.

Just returned from an A Foreign Affair (AFA) tour in Davao, Philippines, and it was one of the most amazing experiences Ive been a part of. Its like stepping into another world when it comes to meeting wonderful women who are sincerely interested in American men. If more American men knew of this option, Im sure they would be flocking to The Philippines and other countries that AFA works in.

The women in the Philippines are as genuine and unspoiled as you could wish for. Theyre beautiful, appreciative and refreshingly simple; but smart with a common sense that rivals or exceeds that of women in western countries. I think this has a lot to do with family values, and often taking responsibility for fellow family members.

AFA is impressively well organized, and facilitates the trip in a highly professional, yet personalized manner. The attention paid to each and every client by AFA is beyond thorough. And local Philippine staff possess the same giving personalities that are present in the eligible ladies.

Sometimes you hear about alleged hidden agendas of the women - only being interested in a green card ticket to the U.S. After meeting many first hand, I now know this isnt true, and believe their priorities are more geared to finding men who are sincere, responsible and loyal (among other qualities) - traits they dont always find among men in their own countries.

Of course, going to another country for love and marriage is a long trek, and requires time and financial commitments to accomplish. Yet dating in the U.S. also demands time and $$ - probably even more so. Consider that on just one AFA trip youll meet hundreds of beautiful, young ladies. This opposed to slogging through months (and years) of expensive domestic dating, often leading nowhere. The choice seems pretty clear.

I have never used their letter writing services as I prefer to meet women in person, one on one. I met my first wife on a A Foreign Affair Tour and that marriage lasted ten great years. We eventually divorced parting friends and going our separate ways, what can I say, S. T happens in this world but no regrets.
After taking several years to regain my footing I am back in the game and the name of the game is the Ukraine. I generally travel with a half dozen profiles of women that I want to meet and generally meet 60% of those women. I should qualify that statement by saying I am now 58 years old and have never dated a woman over the age of 36. The 40% that I do not meet I write off to age difference because the staff is always able to locate and contact the women. I am good with that. I utilize the service because of the tremendous advantages that overseas dating affords me. The women are beautiful, educated and not standoffish. I have high standards when it comes to beauty in the women I date and this company performs.
I attended a tour during the first part of 2016. This tour was unusual because most of the 20 other men were of approximately my age. This was the happiest group of guys you would ever want to see. They were all dating women twenty to thirty years their junior and not a frown in the crowd. I generally see about 30 men on a tour and approximately 150 to 250 single, beautiful and eager women at each social wanting to meet the right guy. The number of women attendees seems to depend on the time of year as winter draws a larger attendance.
All I can say is if you like opportunity and beautiful women, get off your butt and go, it will change your life forever.

Hi Guys. This is Brian from North Dakota. I went on the sept. Odessa, Ukraine tour. I had such a great time that I now am now addicted to the Ukraine. I have never been addicted to anything before. I could tell you about how wonderful the hotel Londonskya in Odessa is. How much fun we had going to the dance bars. How AFA is top shelf all the way. I want to tell you about how beautiful the woman of Ukraine are. One of the best parts of the tour is talking to the guys over breakfast. One morning I said to a table of 5 guys. Guys I think if you took 50 American woman 25 to 40 years old and 50 Ukrainian woman the same age. You might have 1 calendar girl model on the American side but you would have 7 to 8 on the Ukrainian side. The guys went nuts. After a 10 minute discussion. We agreed you would have 14 to 15 on the Ukrainian side. No lie they are 15 times as beautiful in so many ways as American women.

For me the best treasure I discovered on the tour was the woman in the 33 to 40 age range. I think at each social there were at least 15 to 20 of then. Kid you not. They are truly one of the most beautiful woman in the history of man kind, If you see what a wonderful treasure this is you gotta go. I'm going on the July 2015 tour. I don't see a better time to go. 5 million more women then men in this wonderful country. 40 percent of the woman will never be married. In America we teach our daughters. Get a good education. Go to collage and get a good job so she can stand on her own. She doesn't need a man. In the Ukraine they teach there daughters be a lady. Always be beautiful. Find a good husband and be a good wife and mother. That's what i'm looking for. A hard working good wife that wants to be taken care of. If you are thinking about going send me a email. I can only say that my own personal experience has been incredible.

I can't ignore the "experts" that are stating this site is a scam, that all reviews are from paid bloggers and all the women are fake... Amazing that you can sit by your computer write a letter or email "Keyboard Romeo's" and be so stupid to believe that you will ever establish a relationship or meet a woman! Duh! No, you will be alone forever... you actually have to get a passport, a plane ticket, and meet the women in their city during a group or individual tour. But I know the "Experts", and those that are so sure this is a scam, developed their all knowing information and opinions by never leaving their house. But alas "You Are So Much Cooler Online."

This site (www.loveme.com) is for real and if the "Experts" had ever attended a AFA Seminar or viewed the blogs ect they would know that the staff and owners of A Foreign Affair will tell you DO NOT WRITE LETTERS at least not until you are scheduled for a tour and you can say "I am coming to your city on (this date) and I would like to meet you..."

I know this site is completely legitimate and honest. I have used it, and yes I had an issue or two with letters. Just one phone call to the AFA Phoenix office and the issues were resolved and the monies refunded. The two women I wrote letter to in Cebu Philippines were real women, whom I met 6 weeks after we started writing, because I actually went to Cebu... and really met them both.

I too "Am So Much Cooler Online" but I decided you like or love me for who I really am and I took the chance. Good thing I went on the August 2014 tour to Cebu, Philippines and met my new wife Marlyn and we celebrated our first wedding anniversary in May 2016. The site and the staff at AFA are for real and completely legitimate... I would not be married now if not for them.

Anyone who thinks they will meet someone by writing romantic letters and emails will spend a lot of money and still be alone! Making Love through the mail is impossible... I was in the Navy... so I know!;-))

When I went to Cartagena it was my first time traveling out of the country, and because of this I was moderately nervous. When I got through customs at the airport Monica (the office manager of the AFA Cartagena office) was waiting for me with my name on a sign. She helped me get my bags and we were swiftly in a cab and on our way to Boca Grande.

During my time in this wonderful city, I got to know the culture of Colombia through the beautiful and engaging night life, to the insurmountable 12th century Spanish architecture, but more so with the inhabitants of this awesome coastal town. The AFA staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Monica made me feel at home and attended to me personally if I needed anything.

More delightful than any of the aforementioned benefits of this tour though were undoubtedly the women. Colombian women are so warm, outgoing, and charismatic that I truly felt like I was in a completely different world. Not only was the AFA staff friendly and helpful, but every lady I had the opportunity to meet were exactly the same way and then some.

Colombian women don't beat around the bush, they are very straight forward with how they feel and it's very easy to discern if a lady is attracted to, and interested in you. The sheer number of beautiful women is immense, and AFA did a fantastic job of facilitating dates and managing their social events. Not only did I not have to worry about anything while I was on this trip, but I had so many opportunities to get to know ladies that I'm truly surprised that most people don't go check into this for themselves. If you are contemplating this for yourself let me just say that whenever you choose to experience what AFA is offering you'll still likely feel that you should have done this years ago. I wish I had, and am abundantly grateful for having found A Foreign Affair. They truly offer an experience that is life defining.

Maybe it's not for everyone, but you won't know unless you give it a try. I would recommend that you do that.

I first learned about this company from a television show hosted by a well-known personality. The customers featured on the show were from a particular city. I recall one episode where an older gentleman expressed interest in a younger woman. However, the woman seemed uncomfortable and mentioned that he was too old for her. I understood that this was the purpose of the show, as younger men typically do not require this service unless it is solely for physical attraction. Regarding the letter-writing service, I did try it a few times. However, even the company's owner seemed to discourage this method. I had a few conversations with their receptionist, who honestly informed me that finding a young woman may be unrealistic. That is my personal experience. In the battle between the young and old, the young lion emerges victorious. It is disappointing.

I took a trip from Ukraine to Davao Philippines shortly a month after I was with Joe on the Odessa tour. I ended up staying in Davao for 3 months. I did the Asia Club 10 day tour with the Davao office where I met and fell in love with a pretty 27 year old. She made it to the USA with the help of AFA's immigration lawyer Laurie and we got married on June 5th 2020 I am very happy now. Thank you for your friendship and knowledge about the whole procedure. I attended one of their their socials in Odessa in 2017 and one in Kiev in 2018. At both events there were hundreds of women, many very attractive, and I was very pleased with everything. The women really were interested in meeting someone. It was not a scam in any sense of the word. In fact, the event was sort of sweet and old fashioned. I have also got to meet the president of the company, John Adams, and some of the staff. They were all dedicated and compassionate. Dating is a really hard industry, because building and maintaining good relationships is tough. But A Foreign Affair does give you a real chance of meeting an amazing women.

I have participated in three AFA tours to different cities in the Ukraine where I met hundreds of women during the tour socials and dozens more on dates arranged by AFA. The women that I met while on these tours were warm and genuine in their desire to meet men for marriage. Not every first date was great, but every date was authentic in that two people were present to explore a possibility. I was able to meet several women who I felt a mutual spark with. In fact, if I had one complaint, it is that the whole experience was overwhelming. However, the AFA staff was great at managing this experience; partly acting as a time manager, translator, cultural attache and counselor all in one. Overall, the tours I participated in were a great opportunity to meet and date a lot of interesting and attractive women in a new environment. Currently I’m communicating with six women after returning home from my last AFA tour on 02/2020 and looking to ask one to be my girlfriend in the very near future. Thanks AFA and Staff!

So I have read several reviews here and to be honest I found it hard to believe they are real clients. I have used this service several times going to both the Ukraine and the Philippines. I have met all the staff including the President John Adams. I followed a lot of their advice on how to he successful. They advised me to not spend a lot of money writing letters, but to go on a tour and actually meet the ladies that I was interested in. They advised me to write ladies that I wanted to meet and let them know of my interest and that I would be attending the tour and that I would like to meet them. I had great success on both the tours I attended. I met a wonderful woman in the Ukraine that I fell in love with. She was wonderful, kind, loving, and beautiful but unfortunately she did not want to have any children. I had been single my whole life to this point (52 years old) and was looking to have a family not just a wife. So I had to break up with her. I decided to go to the Philippines. I had been to the Philippines during my time in the service (US Navy) and found the people to be very family oriented. I booked a tour and got my ticket and off I went. The tour was incredible and met several wonderful ladies. But one caught my heart. She was smart, educated, and loving. I fell in love almost immediately. We got married and celebrated our 8th Wedding anniversary this past February and we have 3 wonderful kids. I could not be more appreciative of John and all the staff at AFA. I am proud to give them 5 stars.

I have been on 4 tours with AFA and I have to say they were 4 of the best experiences of my life. On my first tour I had the pleasure of meeting John Adams the co owner of the company because he was the group leader and i have to say I feel like I made a friend for life. He did a great job leading the tour, I am a business owner and I think I am a good judge of character and I have never meet a man who cares more about his clients, He did a great job of helping ,leading and babysitting every client thru any problem they had. I was so impressed with AFA that two days after I got home from my first trip I called John and signed up for the executive tour. I read the bad review from the guy below me and I even talked to this guy personally and he has all his information wrong, this guy never even went on a tour with any company and all of a sudden he thinks he is a expert, the reason I am writing this review is to tell the real story from a guy who has been there 4 times. The ladies that work for AFA in all the foreign offices are great people that go out of there way to help you be as successful on your trip as possible. At first i was afraid to go to a foreign country but they were at the airport waiting for me and they made me feel perfectly safe the whole time I was there. This is a top notch company and I feel they are the best at what they do. I have not found a women yet because they have provided me with to many good choices, I am currently seriously talk to 3 wonderful women and as soon as the pandemic scare is over one is flying here to spend time with me and then I will go back to spend time with the other two ladies.Any time I need advice John Adams and his staff are there to help me. Take it from someone who has been there and a very happy 4 tour customer , AFA is the best dating company you will ever have the pleasure of working with.

My name is Ray, I am from England. I first visited the Ukraine with A foreign affair in July 2015, I was 55 and I wanted to meet a 42 year old woman who I had been writing to on the AFA site. I have to say that for me booking with AFA was a bit of a punt. When you go online there are many agencies. Also for some reason not many English men do this? I went on a tour because I was not confident in going just on my own. I did a 3 city tour. And met the woman who I had been writing to. Although this relationship did not last longer than the first date. I can partly blame myself for this. I did not actually do anything wrong, I just thought I knew what i was doing, and I didn't. But all was not lost, I really loved the 3 socials i went to, and I had a ball. I really love the Ukrainian women, they are so beautiful and charming. Most Ukrainian men tend to treat them indifferently, They love to be treated like a lady. Having said that I found the same old problem whereby the woman you want, may not want you, also you can be chased by women that you don't want, so this is not easy. I lost focus and began dating women who are much too young for me. I am certainly no expert on women. But from the start i did not want a woman who would jump straight in bed with me. Why would you want a woman who will do this? I was not successful in finding a wife on this trip. But I had a great time. i love the women, and actually like many aspects of the country. Since this trip i have returned to the Ukraine many times (Kiev is only just over 3 hours flight from London Gatwick airport) I have been on tours and travelled independently. I have made many friends there. I have seen and heard many comments about AFA. It is intensive, 3 cities in maybe 10 days. it is not cheap. Many of my friends warned me that I would be scammed, but i get scammed in my own home. As tourists you will always pay a premium for everything. You just have to keep your wits about you. It's not like you are back in Kansas. There is an old English saying that goes 'you can't make an omelette without cracking eggs' You have a choice, You can take a chance and do something. Or you can sit at home staring at 4 walls, while counting your money. I have written to a few women on the AFA site. And even went to meet several of them. I can say that I always met the woman who i was writing to. Although I did not feel that this was a successful path for me. I always preferred the tours. Then recently I have made a very good connection with a woman who wrote first wrote to me 5 years ago, and we only just met. So what do I know? I have not done the Asian or Latin tours, so I can not comment on them. I am pleased that I took a 'punt' on AFA. to go on a tour of the Ukraine in 2015. It was much better than staying at home

What’s up guys? My name’s Ernest, and I’ve ACTUALLY been through the entire process of A Foreign Affair, TWICE! Anyway, this is my take on the process: First thing, John, AFA Prez/Owner, from the beginning of the seminar that you should’ve attended, says not to write letters or be a “keyboard Romeo”... so WHY are these guys spending $10,000 worth and then complaining about AFA, like this company hasn’t been advising not to spend money writing letters the entire time?!? AFA didn’t scam them, they’re scamming themselves by not listening to the advice given. Just do as the company says and GO EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF! Now, I’ll admit. Before my first tour, I wrote about 700 or 800 dollars worth. But, that also gave me discount percentages on my upcoming tour and benefited me in more ways than just writing/receiving letters. After that, John, Ronna and Rob, heck the entire staff from AFA was like, “stop being a keyboard Romeo and save your money for the trip!” So, I did. Haven’t written a single letter since. And I gotta tell you, life is SO MUCH BETTER when you get off the couch, hop on a plane and talk to these gorgeous girls in person! Next, I don’t care what these guys say, the girls in the profiles are SO REAL! I’ve actually been there, I’ve been to the mountain top and I’ve seen the view for myself and the view is sweet! These guys talk about, “Well, some of these girls are using old pictures!” Of course some of them do, bro! You gonna sit there and tell me that your own Facebook profile pic is from you this morning? NO! You still got the pic from 1 or 2 years ago when you looked 20 pounds lighter and not so many wrinkles or grey hairs! Ha! Don’t forget, THESE ARE WOMEN! Just like the ones in America, who put their best pics up for public display on any social media or dating site. And, the majority of these girls, look even BETTER IN PERSON! But you’ll never know if you don’t go! Lastly, I’m gonna lay it out for you like this... I KNOW that the women on these thousands of profiles are NOT actual drones programmed to love me and be perfect in every way. That’s why I had to go and EXPERIENCE it for myself. I’ll tell you how it all went down, but, first, even if nothing came of these tours, they STILL would’ve been the two BEST VACATIONS I’ve ever had in my entire life! (And, with the exchange rate, like 10 times cheaper than vacationing in Hawaii. It’s like 50 pesos for each dollar in the Philippines! Livin like a BOSS!) Now, did I date lots of girls, heck yeah I did! Speaking as a guy, you can’t put a kid in a video arcade with a pocket full of quarters and expect him not to go nuts! I speed dated lots of girls with small breakfast and lunch dates to figure out which ones I wanted to invest my time in. Then, I narrowed it down from there with the help of a personal assistant/professional matchmaker INCLUDED with the tour! During that time, the group of guys on the tour with me had a blast, we dated in groups, we went clubbing, we partied, we celebrated birthdays, we dined fancy style, we pool partied, we island hopped, heck, we even turned up the party at one of the best weddings we’ve ever been to! I even found new best friends that I’ll have for life! All of this while dating some of the most gorgeous women in the world! But then, you fall in love with that one and now you see how life can be if you only got off the couch and dated more than 15 miles further than where you lived, regardless of the naysayers in my family, friends, or even the internet. Ha! There were like 16 guys on my tour and most of us got engaged! But writing a long review is nowhere near the actual experience! Even the pics and vids I got don’t do it justice! Well worth the money 2-3 times over! Thank you to John (Prez/Owner), Ronna (Queen of all things Philippine/Videoke Rival), Rob (Man making magic happen from behind the curtains), Brittany (Putting up with me and my customer service issues over the phone, like... a lot), Michelle (Pulling the strings to make the puppets dance so these trips are set up without any issues), and everyone else in the AFA office putting the word out and making these tours happen! I am so happy that I have met and done business with you guys, and, dare I say, even made some friends in that office because you treat your clients like family that you want to see succeed, even a clown like me! Ha! I can see why after over 25 years, you still have an A+ rating with the better business bureau!

This is my first time with AFA, I joined about 6 months ago online and then I thought that I would join the tour based on others testimonials. It was my first time tour in Costa Rica and I was amazed. There are beautiful women there and it was clear that sending letters back and forth wasn't really moving me forward to being in a relationship. So I thought I just wanna get out there and not have any high expectations and just meet some new people and enjoy the trip. It was certainly helpful watching the tour videos because it gave a little bit of a introduction that there would be so many ladies, it's obviously different back home in real life.

I’d say go for it. AFA is legit. Their prices for Colombia tours are reasonable. They take care of you. I had no idea that the office would be so professional and kind. They staff their people really well, at least the ones I experienced. They’re friendly. They know both languages really well. They’re great administratively. Didn’t make any mistakes. They take care of you. I was really impressed, way more than I thought. They follow up with the girl after and before on a phone call. They follow up with you and they’re kind of like the middle person so they kind of help you process. Sometimes they’ll reveal what the other girl thought about you, too. They’re always very encouraging. I highly recommend it to everybody.

Thank you AFA for giving me the opportunity to have the time of my life in Costa Rica. The ladies I met on the tour were very warm, hospitable, and very motivated to meet foreign men. I met someone special that I think could work out long-term. She is serious about us and happens to have a visa, which is a big plus for me since Costa Rica is much closer to the United States, she can come visit me. So that's a benefit you generally don't have with the other South American countries.

Their services are great. The daily support I got was beyond anything. If you have some questions, every time an open ear was waiting for you, there is nothing negative. You need to have this experience. Give yourself the opportunity. Go to the website, book a tour, and GO. Nothing is better than being outside in Thailand. Explore everything. The country is beautiful, the ladies are gorgeous. You can do this. Don’t sit at home.

So many guys out there are so afraid to do this. But after they hear about guys like me that went over to Ukraine and came back successful, they start to think maybe this isn't just a big scam. It is NOT a scam. It's definitely not a scam. You could always find women that might play games, but for the most part, it's just single women who have nothing to lose, trying to meet you to see if there is chemistry, a connection. For me, it was hard not to fall in love with my Ukrainian wife.

From January 30 through March 13, 2023, I paid $300 to exchange emails with someone on A Foreign Affairs website, who I believed was real and genuinely interested in developing a serious, long-term relationship. After a few weeks, I discovered that the person I was writing to was actually a paid interpreter/employee from A Foreign Affair. They were leading me on but refused to have video communication on AFAs website or outside its platform. I realized I was being scammed when the person I was communicating with refused video communication on AFAs Skype, despite expressing interest in me and sending me several letters expressing a desire to establish a relationship. It cost me $10 to read each of the letters I received and $10-$15 to respond to each one. The Skype option was relatively safe because a third-party AFA interpreter would have been there to facilitate and assist with the conversation. Additionally, the Skype video option was on the site's platform, so no personal information would have needed to be exchanged. When I called AFA to address this issue, the person I spoke to admitted that I was speaking to an AFA interpreter/employee. They also mentioned that a manager would call me to discuss the matter. However, I never received a return call from AFA. On March 30, 2023, I sent a written letter to AFA requesting a partial refund of $150 for the money I lost from this apparent scam. According to AFA's website, "Our pledge to you is that we will either resolve the issue to your full satisfaction or refund the appropriate amount, either way we will work to satisfy you" (Source: ComplaintsBoard.com). Unfortunately, AFA never bothered to respond to my email or communicate with me to resolve this problem. AFA should be investigated for making deceptive claims about their services and clients, and for tricking customers into believing that they are willing to independently resolve consumer complaints to their full satisfaction.

I joined Kiev Women, which was billed on my credit card as World Wide Data Link INC. in Phoenix, AZ, with the intention of finding a wife. It is supposed to be a site that helps you do just that. However, after about a week of communicating with different potential mates, I realized that it is a scam. Several of the women have lied to me and their photos on the site are either older or not them at all. Unfortunately, there is not much information available for me to investigate further. Marriage agencies make a lot of money through their letter forwarding service. In most cases, these letters are written by the agency themselves. It takes a lot of time, energy, and effort to send a letter to a lady and receive a good quality response. However, most women, in this case, don't write very good return letters. On the other hand, when the agency writes the letter pretending to be the woman, you always receive a fantastic letter telling you how much she likes you and is in love with you. This is what is happening here. I received this letter from Kristina, even though I have never communicated with her before.

I really cannot overstate how spectacular Medellin is. The ladies are every bit as beautiful, sincere, warm, and sweet as they’ve told us, and MORE! Originally, I had thought I would just try this tour for a vacation and to check out if everything I heard about AFA and Medellin was true. I was amazed, actually, as how AFA understated how wonderful this this beautiful city is. There were many interesting stories of success in terms of finding someone special that came from this tour. The women are some of the sweetest, most stunning of any place in the world. Colombia has got to be the world's best kept secret. I could go on for days about all the unbelievable things we experienced on this tour.

Thanks so much for a great Social in Thailand last month. I really enjoyed it. Many thanks to the staff members in Bangkok for all their great dedication and assistance. It was great. I met a ton of great ladies. I think by last count 11guys out of 14 left Thailand with a meaningful romantic relationship. That's pretty incredible!
