LongHorn Steakhouse Customer Service

I am providing my most recent experience at Longhorn Steakhouse at 272 US Highway 22, Route 22 W, Springfield Township, NJ 07081 Check #13520. I have never and I mean never felt the type of unwilling to serve my husband and I at this establishment in my life.

We came in to enjoy a late lunch/early dinner (around 7:30ish) after out all day. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was no wait and the hostess was very approachable and greeted us immediately. Once seated (high top table in the bar area) we waited for at least 15 mins before anyone even came to greet. When the server (who was not the server for the bar area) greeted us, he advised that the bartender was our server and would assist us. Now at this time the bartender has noticed that we are sitting there waiting. Not once did he acknowledge us or say he will be right with us NOTHING was said. However a couple who comes in after us sits at the bar and he immediately greets them and get their drinks.

Now with businesses not doing so good this type of service is unacceptable when I can spend my money at numerous other places. Throughout our lunch/dinner never once did he apologize for his behavior or even acknowledge us. As we are enjoying our meal (which was good) another couple comes and sit in the same area as us the high top tables in the bar and what do you know the bartender runs to greet them and serve them.

I'm not trying to make this about race but you tell me if an African American couple comes in sit and is never acknowledge or served from the person who area we are sitting in but another race comes and get serviced immediately, there's no other way to explain it.

At this time i know longer want to spend my money at any Longhorn/Darden if these are the type of people that are employed by your company.

LongHorn Steakhouse Meal not completed

June 09, 21. Take out order. Longhorn 5057 Solon, Ohio. I ordered a rib eye steak which was cooked as ordered, would have enjoyed some steak sauce to be included with meal. Ordered fully loaded baked potato no sour cream. Got a little package with the toppings, looked like a cat threw it up. Ordered bowl of potato soup $2.99 extra I got no soup at all. Drat... Paid $24.78 plus left $3.00 tip. I am 80 and did not want or have energy to drive back the 20 minutes to get the soup and toppings for potato. Very disappointed since I have eaten there many times and enjoyed the food. William dicks manager6276 [protected]. I thought there was supposed to be 2 side dishes since I paid for the soup wasn't I supposed to get another side? I thought the soup was the side, but I see I paid extra for it.

LongHorn Steakhouse 1000 island dressing

After the Covid pandemic started Longhorn steakhouse in Round Rock Tx stopped serving Thousand Island dressing. I have been promised that this was a temporary situation however today my waitress said it's not coming back ever. I was also told that it's because it takes too many ingredients so that makes me think it's not back on the menu due to laziness. I would like a definitive answer. Is 1000 island coming back and when ?

LongHorn Steakhouse Food!! And charges

Today 5/15/2021, was with my wife
Ordered chop steak (med) served to me raw maybe 55 degrees internal temp raw! Full plate set on end of table discussed with it watched wife eat, 20 min later waitress say oh ill have them cook that, said I don't want it, 20 min later, tab set on table no manger ever came to check make sure we are not sick, or to even take off are ticket, and was over charged on wife's food
She had 6oz sirloin side of brussel sprouts 11.99 add a chopped salad for 1.49, look at my ticket, went the extra mile to charge her the up charge, for the sprouts? When its add a chopped salad for 1.49, when we ordered are meal we both said are entree and side and then pointed to the "add chopped salad for 1.49" f.Y. I when your a server and your taking orders from your table, you write down on your pad/ticket there order the same time they saying it exact way they said it, they could order 2 items maybe 4 or they could split the check as a server you don't know your not a mind reader, so when they go and ring up your ticket, they pull that pad/ticket out and ring up what they wrote on it so it goes in the same order on your ticket, thats set on your table, now look at my ticket you can clearly see the way we orderd, and to top it off her 6oz + 1 side is 11.99, so they up charged for the 6oz 12.79 and then for the side of brussles
So raw food was served and sold to me and then when I had to pay for it they up charge my wifes meal? W.T. H
Im pretty sure thats illegal and the whole time no manager ever came to see us or even check on us, look at my pics

Desired outcome: Something big because thats Illegal and I hope I don't get sick

LongHorn Steakhouse Food

First indoor dining experience with the family since COVID and it was the most expensive choice ever! The restaurant was NOT busy yet the quantity and quality of food was poor. NOT the way I thought our first family outing would be and our anniversary to go.
This was at the Springfield Illinois Location. So there was $80 wasted. $76.08 for the bill and a $5 tip, just because I have been a severe before and its ultimately not their fault.

Desired outcome: Some sort of compensation would be nice. And of course a change at the location

LongHorn Steakhouse Poor management

It was my 63rd birthday on March 13, 2021. I choose to eat at Longhorn restaurant in Griffin, GA. We eat there at least a couple of times every month. We had a family of 14 that were celebrating my birthday. When we arrived at 1:30, we were told that it would be at least an hour and a half before we could be seated. So we decided that we'd wait since everyone was already there. After about 2 hours and 15 minutes we saw the large party come out so we thought that we would be called shortly. My girlfriend went to the restroom a little while thereafter, and saw that they were cleaning two different booths and not the large table. She asked the hostess why couldn't they clean the large table, that we had been waiting for over two hours. She said that she would get it cleaned, and then this smart mouth disrespectful young boy, said we got other things to do. He turned his back and walked away irritated. That was totally out of line for a young kid to be disrespectful of a senior citizen. She came out mad and said "I'm not eating here", so I made the decision that we would all leave. In the meantime my daughter went in and the so-called manager said we are not seating any of your party. He said that the lady had just cursed at his 16 year old employee, and we will not be seating any of your party. This was absolutely not true, the manager did not hear the conversation. This so-called manager knows nothing about customer service, and he should never be in that position. All I can say is that you lost a lot of business, because of his actions. The way my family and I was treated on Saturday, March 13th was out of line. You can bet we will never eat there again. So you lost a lot of business, and rest assured that we will spread the word that the restaurant is not a good place to eat. We will tell everyone we know! And believe me, we know a lot of people in the area that eat there. I worked at a company for many years that focused on customer service and if I ever treated anybody half as bad as we were treated, I would have been fired on the spot. Longhorn needs to fire this manager asap, and all the employees need to be sent to customer service class, to learn about how customers should be treated. If longhorn continues to let the managers treat customers like crap, you will be going out of business in a short time.

Desired outcome: Free dinner for all 14 people in my family thet were treated very wrong , and new management at this restaurant

LongHorn Steakhouse Take out ordering niagara falls, ny

I tried to place an order online today and was not even able to see a menu, other than the menu for sides. After being unable to order online, I called the restaurant to place my order and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes. My husband called from his phone, reached someone so I told this man that I had been on hold for over 15 minutes on my other phone and wanted to speak to a manager, at which point, he hung up on me. I was still on hold on my phone and someone (I believe the same man who hung up on me) answered, asked for the name on the order, then said "oh, I have an order started already", what? I never even gave an order. Anyway, he said their website crashed, he was sorry, etc. My husband is now on his way to pick up our order, which I have a funny feeling will not be correct. Will file another complaint if it isn't! We do eat here a few times a year, usually for a special occasion, this was for my birthday, and the service is getting worse. I don't think that anyone there cares at all about customer service. This is the only decent steakhouse in my area, but from now on, my husband will cook on the grill instead of spending $80 on a dinner that only leads to frustration!

LongHorn Steakhouse Bill service and food

I went out to eat with my family February 14 2020, I ordered a ribeye steak meal which comes with a side and a salad and I ordered the steak well done I told the server I specifically do not want any pink because I am pregnant and cannot eat raw meat when I got my food which already came out after my families the steak was medium rare I could already see blood pouring out of it when they set it down so I sent it back and told them again I do not want any pink in the meat I want it well done my whole family finished there food before I ever got mine back not to add on I was trying to feed my hungry daughter also, when we got the bill I was over charged and the server said it was not a mistake but it was because the steak meals come with a salad and a side I got mashed potatoes and caesar salad she charged me for the mashed potatoes which was 2.29 and the meal which was 15.99 and they never even came back around to make sure I was doing okay with my food, The service was bad service all around she wasn't filling our drinks as needed. Way to ruin a pregnant ladies valentines day!

LongHorn Steakhouse Steaks

Yes I brought my family out to eat on the 25th of January I used to work for Longhorn for almost 3 years I know Longhorn is famous for heavily seasoned steaks we came in we all ordered the outlaw and needless to say they were full of Gristle there was hardly any flavor on them whatsoever and I know what boldly season means I was never so disappointed in all my life because I have loved Longhorn since I've worked for them and was so excited to have this steak dinner needless to say $164 later it was the saddest steak I had had at Longhorn, in Canton Ohio. The service was great no complaints there the other thing I noticed manager was not on the floor greeting all tables the way my manager was. Unless things have changed. But had the manager come around I would have been happy to show him my steaks needless to say we brought all of our steaks home. I even asked for 7 pepper seasoning on mine and got none. And boldly seasoned it was not.

LongHorn Steakhouse Employees do not consistently wear masks

What is LongHorn's PPE Policy for staff? Is it out of view, it's not necessary? I observed several employees enter the restaurant, to begin their shift, without wearing masks. Two employees even greeted the kitchen staff and walked behind the bar without masks. It was their actions that made me take a closer look. Upon focusing on the kitchen, and grill line, I saw cooks lower their masks and engage in conversation. I realize that the kitchen is probably very warm and that wearing a mask is quite uncomfortable, but the public is trusting restaurants to do just that. Everytime someone frequents an establishment, they are doing so thinking that the said establishment is following CDC guidelines. While I do not want anyone to be out of work, I think life has to take a greater value than your employees are displaying. Please re-evaluate your policies and management staff who oversee compliance. I have photographic evidence of all that I have referenced. I trust that you will sort this matter out.

Desired outcome: Enforce that staff wear masks at all times, not just when in view of customers.

LongHorn Steakhouse Food

Me and my husband can not afford to go out much and we love long horns its where he proposed so its special anyway we ordered a ribeye cause its says juiceous steak and a salad and potato and I got salmon, when our food came the steak was too done and was not what you would expect from a ribeye we did not want to complain cause we know they would throw it out and we dont like wasting food, we ate our dinner with salad plates still on table really was disapointed I told the server when she came to get the check but no managment came over also we had grilled mushrooms which looked awful so we wanted to let someone know cause right now its hard to go anywhere and when you do you are bummed thanks for lisetening I know the bill was only 60.00 but thats alot for us, we dined in the dawsonville ga location

Wow! Went to longhorn with my husband in acworth on hwy 41. Took 2 grandsons for their first steak experience. One grandson ordered the $27 steak. Other 2 ordered $21 ribeyes. All the steaks were tough, inedible. The $27 steak was mostly left on the plate because he couldn't even cut into it! How can longhorn serve such garbage? The restaurant was full. That was a mystery!

On Saturday night, 10-10-2020, we (wife and I) were entertaining an important business client from out of state. Our compliments, we decided on your West Springfield, MA site, being one of our favorites. Always a good meal.

I called in the afternoon for a reservation and was told "no reservations---just call ahead about a half hour". OK. No problem. I called about 6:30 for a 7pm arrival. Woman answered and said great, come right over. I asked if 7:15 would be better...nope...come on over. We did. Checked in slightly before 7 and was told we would have to wait about a half hour. What?! We were not advised of a wait like this.

Asking to speak to the manager, I was told that she was the manager. Huh? Her name...best I could get it, after asking twice, was Aliana Smith. She wasn't budging. I asked how to file a complaint. "I don't know". I asked her for a business card, something with her name so I didn't make a mistake. "I don't have any!" She then went to the back toward the kitchen to hide and after about 10 minutes, never came back! We left. We knew the game she was playing.

I find this whole experience extremely rude, unacceptable business practice and embarrassing. The client is important to us and we were red-faced.

Aliana's casual and indifferent behavior to us tells me that she should not have been in any management position, let alone manager of your entire restaurant, if in fact that were true.

Of course, this will have a different spin from Aliana's side. Customer was upset because they had to wait. Done.

Nope! Upset because: 1. Not told in the beginning, and had the impression ‘no wait' on the come right over instruction. 2. The indifferent and casual attitude when she could see that she delivered a shocker to us. 3. That she wouldn't give us a business card or anything with her name. 4. She denied knowing how to file a complaint. What manager doesn't know that? 5. She spun and went to the back kitchen area and hid and never came back, without telling me anything. 6. Her experience to us embarrassed us in front of my client. So rude, so rude. Plus, I'm not sure she told the truth when she told me she was the manager of the restaurant. I submit to you that she is an embarrassment to your fine company.

If I were working for "undercover boss", this part of the tape would be a feature for someone marginally fit for employment and maybe trainable, if the company wanted to put in the expense. You see, I own a business with employees, too. Our customers are #1.

I found it rather offensive that a server was someone wearing a black lives matter face mask at the establishment. That is not the place or the time to be expressing, or representing the current situation of our world right now. Very unprofessional and if you represent black lives matter do it on your own time not at work. I keep as far away from this and when I go out to eat at a restaurant I don't want to have it in my face. There should be limitations on the facemasks and refraining from allowing anything that my be offensive to anyone else. Valdosta GA Get it together management.

I try to never complain, but this crap is inexcusable... They are ripping us off on curbside orders... Has happened 3 times I am sick of it.. The 9oz flo's filet was not what your picture represents... The nice filet in picture #4 was what I had expected... However,. I received this tough, overcooked and (probabaly a sirloin cut, from the looks of it) that was totally inedible. I could not even cut it, much less chew it... This cook should be fired. The broccoli sprouts as you can plainly see were a hot, burned, smelly mess, inedible as well. Whoever you had cook and serve this meal should be fired immediately.
We eat here several times a week, but never again.
You make it impossible to send feedback on your website. However, this is such an obvious example of your advertising trickery, I intend to send these reviews with picutes to many social media websites, as your company refuses to address why your false advertising should not be exposed.
What a horrible thing to deprive people of their dinner so you can serve cheap slop.

LongHorn Steakhouse Service

Ordered from the Killian Hill location in Snellville online, they said the pickup time would be 6:40 @ 8:15 I was still waiting and all they could say was they had a lot of orders. There were people that had been there for over two hours. I know this is a rough time but they could have stopped the ordering online if they couldn't handle it. Spending Mother's Day waiting in the car for food. Never again. When calling the curbside number I was hung up on twice, without anyone saying anything, The worst system ever and will never do it again. I understand the employees may be over whelmed but going back and forth with the customer when expressing their dissatisfaction is never good. I am not sure what will be done with this complaint but I hope something will.

LongHorn Steakhouse Order time

I placed a order on line at 12:00pm today (Mother's Day) for food to be ready at 5:00 pm when I went to pick up my order I was told that they were behind an food would be done by 6:30. I asked why was I not notified about the delay. The lady tried to say they did try to call but was unable to reach me. I told her I never received any call and my line has been clear all day. So at 6:30 I called to see if my order was completed and was told no it would be another half hour and someone would call me when my order was ready. It is now 8:00pm 3 hours after my scheduled pick up time and I still haven't heard from them. At this point I am very upset. I love the food but this is beyond reasonable.

On Sunday the 15th of March me and my husband went for dinner the place was very empty about 7 tables it took them 15 mins to even get a server and i had to confront the host. ok so she went to look for someone he had a big party at that time so we had to be neglected while he get their order out my question is where is the team work? this put a bad taste in my mouth also me and my husband ordered a Outlaw steak medium both steaks were tough mine had a burnt taste after a few bites i seen a man asked him was he a manager he said yes he suggested that i try the flat grill, I said to him it taste like the grill needs cleaning i do grill alot, so i tried it his way also medium it came out with bleeding i said to the manager this isn't medium he said just taste it to see if you taste the burnt taste. no help at all i said to the waitress i will take this home but this is not what i came here for he pulled the manager in the kitchen i guess for the comment i made i won't be spending money there anymore .i don't know if they felt like i wanted something off the bill but if we couldn't afford what we went there for. we would not have went. poor choice also i took pictures of the resturant the steak and how i had to come home and cook it. this is suppose to be a medium steak, resturant empty no excuse for these action in this complaint.

LongHorn Steakhouse Hostess and manager

I just left Longhorn in Largo Maryland, after sitting there for 45 minutes waiting on a table. I called ahead they told me there was no wait for a party of 5. Three adults 2 children, they put us on the list for call ahead seating. Then when I there, the hostess says there is a 10 minute wait, someone came in right before we did with a bigger party. No problem, that's fine. No one else is in the restaurant waiting. 15 minutes go by, more people are being put on the wait list. They sit down and wait, 30 minutes pass. I ask the hostess what's the hold up he says he's getting a table ready now. Ok no problem, all of a sudden another hotess shows up but calls another party up before us and seats them. I ask how is that possible, he gets the first hostess and the manager. The manager then tells us we have to wait another 15-20 minutes before being seated. No way why we should be waiting at all when we were there before the other guest arrived. He continues to tell me there were 3 partys before me, which there weren't. He says they may have went to there cars then came back. They didnt we were the only party sitting for a while before anyone else came in. Not to mention when we got there no one was ahead of us. The manager didnt know what was going on, in the waiting area at all and then was rude about the entire situation. Even the party that was called ahead of us said to me, I heard you were waiting for a while go ahead and apologize to else for the mix up. They knew we came in before them and all of there party was not there yet. I'm 7 months pregnant and this was very inconvenient and a waste of time. They had me really frustrated at the lack of concern for me being pregnant and how long I was already waiting. This all happened on 3/14/20 between 6-7pm

LongHorn Steakhouse Ann (Manager)

My family of 7 went in tonight 2/27/2020 to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I first called to try to get on the waiting list the hostess told me I didn't need to call because it wasn't a wait I was 5 minutes away. We arrived at 7:09pm they told me we had to wait. I waited about 20min they showed me a booth that wouldn't fit 7 of us and I told her that. The hostess then said we would have to wait longer for a bigger table. I asked how long she said the party ahead of us was almost done so about 15min. I actually waited 30 more minutes after that I ask to speak with the manager. Ann the manager came up already with an attitude she didn't say hello or anything but asked about our table she said well since you wanted to be specific about what table you want you have to wait. I said ma'am look at us 3 adults and 4 teenagers we was not going to fit in that small booth. I explained that I tried to do the call ahead her words VERY rudely were "we wasn't going to save a table for you so you calling ahead didn't matter. I said well ma'am the other lady said 15min it's been 30 do you know about how long it will be her words again rudely " I don't know when they will be done or know how long it will be" I then tell my husband we may need to go somewhere else. She then yells BYE Have a great night in front of our kids and all the other guest. I said Ma'am you are being very rude she said something else and that's when my husband said ma'am please stop being rude. She yelled again ByE y'all have a good night. I then said I am going to have to call corporate Because you are so rude. She said well would you like my card. She was super rude And nasty I have never seen a manager act this way it was a crowd of people that had just came in and they were looking very surprised to see a manager treating customers this way. It's ridiculous to have a person like that as the manager.
