Buyer Beware, LMR is really nice when they take your money, but when you move don't expect any refunds for prepaid service.
I called to change address and was told to leave the can behind but needed to email my change request.
The reply was "The cost to replace the can that was left behind is $75."
So I emailed to cancel the service and get a refund for what I paid ahead and got this reply:
"Please be advised accounts are subject to a cancellation fee of $25 for accounts closed without a 7-10 day written/emailed notice. A standard can removal fee of $25.00 is charged to all accounts closing."
In short, no refund for service not received. Best not to tell them and just move. Gift your prepaid service to the next tenant.
lmr owned garbage can removal fee
I cancelled garbage service with LMR Disposal effective 3/31/2019. I told them to take their garbage cans back. They sent me a $25.00 bill to remove their own garbage cans. I was never shown in writing or told verbally that there was a garbage can removal fee. I wonder how they could charge me to remove their own garbage cans. It is absurd and a slap in the face because I found a competitive garbage company that charges less. So now I get punished trying to save money and not get ripped off by a greedy garbage company.
They are still doing this crap effective 12/21. People will soon realize what a rip-off, rude, nasty company they have become.
They’re the worst. I had an issue with their policy and the owner called me on my personal phone to tell and berate me Monday morning at 9:15 AM.
Cancelled my services immediately.
