We don't know much about how Listia handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. Listia I am just so furious over no communication

I just want to make a comment about Listia.com I have won several auctions on Listia which I received the items no problem at all. But, when winning an auction on Listia I never hear from the seller at all and never know if the item is shipped or what.. I just think that if you are selling something then give customer service to the winner by communicating with them. Let them know something. I do sell on Listia and I always communicate with all my winners for I know I would like the same respect to customer service. I have bid on a tv and the winner said to send him a money order for the shipping so I sent a money order for the total amount he said for shipping. It has been a week now and I haven't heard from him at all. I don't know if he is shipping it to me or not so I don't know if I should file a dispute or wait. I am just so furious over no communication...

Listia i'd rather throw out my stuff than use this crappy site

Crappy customer service. Support tickets closed for no reason because ListiaKevin or ListiaRosie are too lazy to do their jobs.

The feedback system is idiotic. If someone doesn't contact you, then why let them leave feedback and then refuse to remove it even though your terms of service say that you will?

This site is a mickey mouse operation. I'd rather throw out my stuff than use this crappy site.

Listia this little exercise cost me money, time, stress and worse

I ended up PAYING out of pocket $100.00 of my money because 1. I am not a shipping company with scales, packing material, boxes and other items for shipping items that are being GIVEN away. You cannot walk into UPS say, "gee wiz guys, can you weigh, box this for me and give me an estimate and I will pay you after I get paypal from someone else?" I was given limited time to ship items, one of them was 'free' because it was a coat, the rest I ATE. Yes, I billed the members only to find out, neither of them can 'understand English' enough to pay me. They could communicate just fine bidding, asking questions, as soon as I sent PAYPAL request, it got quiet, too quiet. NO one is paying me.

Yes I have sent things through normal channels of Ebay. Usually most of us reimburse our shipping costs through careful pricing, to neither gouge the client nor gouge the seller. Here there is no way to protect yourself. One of my bidders had a history of not paying for her shipping (twice!) and Listia, say's "hey, what's the prob? no big deal, just re list your items."

Honestly, I had to pull two so called auctions for EXPENSIVE items, because of harassment by bidders: the items to them are FREE, this is what gets me...continual $#*!ing about everything under the sun, and then ...no English, me pay how?

No I will not ever do this again. My 'give aways' will be true give aways to shelters, to food banks, to battered shelters, to churches. This little exercise cost me money, time, stress and worse, emotional distress dealing with the folks who simply like using others.

I signed up for listia the next day I tried to sign in and it told me account suspended that made me so mad 😡 I'm p.oed i signed back up if you ever suspend my account again I'll never use listia again

It can be fun, would be a lot better if there weren't so many cheap idiots on it. My b/f and I both use it, he's had no problem with any of his auctions. I've lost over 2000 credits due to people who will say they either never got it ( my second auction, I purchase tracking now on everything ) or people who find anything wrong ( had a seedling just up and disappear out of the pot I shipped it in, go figure ) and they will hold your credits hostage just for fun. I was doing free shipping so I'm out about 60 bucks in shipping fees in a few months. I'm spending what credits I have left and I'm done with that site. Also, people can file disputes, and if you dispute it, and there is no resolution to it, you both keep your credits, so, therefore, it is a way for "buyers" to get your stuff, keep their credits and hold your credits in Limbo, AND if the mods at listia find in the favor of the buyer, they get to KEEP your item, and their credits and you are SOL.

Listia still haven't heard anything or got my credits back

I was referred by a Facebook friend. They were supposed to get 500 credits for free when I joined. My friend did not get the credits Listia said because I was a Facebook friend . (Why in the world do they want people to invite their friends and offer such promotions if they aren't going to follow through.) I bid on an item and won it, but the seller never sent it. I disputed it over 2 months ago. Still haven't heard anything or got my credits back, even after repeated email. I decided to try selling some stuff. I listed several auctions and was told to promote the auctions on Twitter and Facebook. I did both only to find out when my twitter followers tried to bid, they were blocked because they followed me on twitter, The same with my Facebook friends, STAY AWAY.

Listia this site has to be one of the most unorganized and even less maintained

This site has to be one of the most unorganized and even less maintained! at first I loved using it, and still am! I have gotten quite a few cute things on there. but the people who bid and win unless you put a tracking number on the item you send out will (EVERY TIME) claim they never got the package so you lose your item and your credits. the mods take forever to get back to something, and when they finally do it is nothing helpful! I am just letting my listia run its course I have said on the rest of my auctions that they will not be sent due to Listia's poor management skills, and lack of actual work on their end! so I am officially done with all of the junk on this site, it use to be fun but the BS you have to put up with UNREAL!

That is So TRUE! always get a tracking number, always photograph the envelope, my second auction won me 1010 credits, I mailed the item out immediately and the person said that they never got it! I've got family out of state, I mail things and cards all the time, NEVER has anything I've mailed family gotten lost in the mail...yet with this site, two items so far got "lost". Funny thing is, they were items I did not place tracking numbers on. And it's been a couple months, and they have not showed back up here either. Go figure. One person claimed that a seedling I sent them disappeared, she said she even shook out the little flower pot I had it planted in...lost 1500 credits on that one, always photograph what you send out, not only did I lose those credits, I was out the 11 bucks I paid to ship that thing. Lots of scam artists troll that site.

Listia do not respond to my problems

Listia states that i have won credits for giving feedback to other members, for checking in, and making BIDS.. Yet they never give me these credits. I have written them several times and they do not respond. I also spent $10.00 for extra credits and only received half of the credits.
They completed ignore me when I write to them.
What can I do?

This site is badly administered by a group of moderators who have little or no sense of logic, or fairness. Sellers are allowed to auction things which are totally unusable, with no penalty. Support requests are often ignored, or can take as long as 10 days to be reiognized. After over a year on this site, I have concluded that it is easier, less frustrating, and ultimately, less expensive to simply purchase those items I need or desire. Don't waste your time!

I lost over 400, 000 credits and was banned for something I was suspended over months ago and haven't done since . It was weird. I got online to find I was banned. I have been harassed by a moderator and I even filed a complaint but nothing went from it.
I've had my life threatened more than once by scammers and Listia didn't remove them
They put in a new policy of no digital items which is my creative side. The day after the policy took effect and I listed stuff, they were all deleted with no explanation . Then 7 day suspension . I complained to the moderator whom then began to Harrass me. It only provoked him once I filed the complaint then I was banned.

I'm looking to file harassment charges against moderator Taz
And will see what an attorney says about them not protecting members from threats

The moderators are a joke! The one they have authenticating the purses don't know real from fake! Support tickets are useless! They allow minors to open accounts and rip people off! They allow copyright infringement! They have there pets and let them break the rules yet hold the true honest sellers to strict guidelines! Lots of good honest, rule following sellers are leaving, soon it will be nothing but scammers, minors and the ones that "order your product after the auction ends" (a select few pets they have get to do this) on there. A nice recent change they made in the rules is this one: you can sell pez with candy (although anything edible isn't allowed) but pez w/candy is an exception because it's collectible..well there are people that collect candy bar wrappers and such..there not allowed and heaven forbid some child eats some tainted pez candy..Listia could be in for some big trouble. I feel some kind of class action lawsuit coming against Listia for discrimination, copyright infringement or such as soon as someone gets fed up enough to get a good attorney!

Listia this is the worst website ever

Well I bid on several auctions and never won. What got me is when I had a maximum bid of 1109 and the item sold to SOMEONE ELSE at 578. It said I was out bid. I put in only 1 bid and put my maximum price because I knew it would bid up to that for me automatically. I contacted customer support with no response. 6 emails later and they will not return any emails. I cant close my account...I have 6 auctions that I tried to delete but finally gave up and said on my auctions what was going on and not to bid and no item will be sent. This is the WORST website EVER! I even signed up for their bonus programs to get "free" credits and never got them but have contracts now with columbia house dvd, and several book clubs but still no credits. GARBAGE!

My experience is worst. My first 6 auction won. 4 already are in dispute. People just either don't respond or they say they don't have the money to ship the item. And they will send it whenever they got money in the bank. Don't use this site. There are plenty of fraudulent activities going on. Auction people with no integrity.

i have never had a problem with listia .. i get everything i bid on. and i rec my credits back for an item i bid on, the girl never ans any texts or messages so i req my credits back and got them. just like any other site theres people who try to scam you for your credits, you just have to look into their history as a seller . and if you dont find what your looking for then move on. Its not like ordering new stuff this is like going to a yard sale per say. you just use credits youve earned to bid with. if you were ripped off of your credits, then it sounds like you didnt go through the right steps to get your credits back.. and you didnt check out the person selling product either . people get ripped of on all selling sites, this isnt the first and wont be the last... if people werent so dishonest we wouldnt have this problem would we .!

I have had several disputes on Listia and they always quickly respond, especially when you go throw the proper channels on the support site.
I have yet to have an unfixable problem. A lot of the auctions are scams but if you follow the proper channels you always receive your credits back.
My advice: read the rules. Read the descriptions. Wait until the end to vote and vote as much as you're willing to spend.

Listia I am always outbid by a literal few points

I placed 2 bids my first day. Since then (A week), no matter how much (140 points higher than what is displayed) or how many different items I bid on, I am always outbid by a literal few points (1-5). Support has responded (24 hrs) but no help at all.

I recently won an item that arrived broken and unrepairable. I paid the seller $5.50 to ship it. I disputed the auction, and did receive my points back, BUT with the stipulation that I return the item to seller at my own expense, with delivery confirmation. Total cost to me would have been $13.50 for a bad experience. The moderators administer the site both unprofessionally and arbitrarily. Support requests are often ignored, or unnecessarily delayed. To date, my request to close my account has been totally ignored
I have found that given the time it takes to bid, the amounts spent on postage one way or the other, and the sheer amount of junk I have received, that I am financially better off by simply purchasing items that I want or need. Don't waste your time on this site!

I win on that website all the time and I sell on that website all the time. I am not ripping anyone off. The website has 'real' people registered on it so how can it be a set-up scam? You just need to know what you are bidding on and not blindly bid on things that seem obviously seem too good to be true.

Yea I always get outbid a couple of seconds after bidding on something, to me it seems like a biiig rip off, I cant remember the last time i actually won something there, even when i bid before the bidding is actually over.

Very true, the site is a scam. I have been outbid by literally a couple of seconds before the auction ends on everything I bid on. The people that are saying it's a good site are the ones working with Listia.

Waste of time. I won a "authentic juicy couture necklace" and got it and to find out it was not real. So filed a dispute and lost so the lady got to keep my credits even though I spent about half mine on a piece of $#*! fake necklace.

I'm sorry that happened to you! Yeah, I recently got screwed over too from a lady who intentionally misrepresented an item that I won. I filed a case and lost as well! I don't understand why I lost (I thought that Listia had an assurance policy that protected bidders from sellers who intentionally misrepresent items)? I guess that their policy is all lip service. I was even willing to send the earrings back to her on my dime!

Today is Monday 8/22/16 . I have done surveys between 7;30 AND 8;00 PM, 1 was for 12, 500 credits and others were only 50 credits but none registered to my account . Please check and award me the credits I am due . This is not the first time this has happened, I just want what I deserve, Thank you

I just did a survey but I never got my credits .I just did it on 7/20/16 at 10;45, for the credit amount of 8150 . This has happened to me before and you corrected and I thank you but it has happened again Please correct this after you check it out Thank you .

I got scram of mailing stuff with tracking number customers say didn't receive on my end they did and several customers wanted their credits back there is alot of people that are dishonest and they lie cause they don't like product and put dispute on me for no reason at all and there is about 10 items didn't receive listia should be off interent and looked into i got mistreated i also got banned and there is serval others on here with 15 negiviate feedback and there still on Listia not fair on my end making a complaint to the right people

People who usually violate the rules tend to say negative things about websites no matter who they are. I have been on Listia for some time now, and have some nice items listed. Not all listians sell junk. It is not a rip off. The only bad thing I can say about Listia is the shipping costs will kill you. And some of the sellers on their ask way too much for their items. Otherwise, I can say I have talked to some of the nicest people online, and have had good experiences with getting what I ordered. I say to those of you who accuse sites of being scams should consider following the rules so that you don't get caught and in trouble and suspended, then you won't have anything to complain about.

my account has just been hacked into and now i got an email saying my account is suspended .. i have hundreds of positive feedbacks and have been on listia for a couple years. now i have emailed them literally 20 times with my email and phone number and i have got not 1 response from them ! they will not contact me or give me any information about what happened to my account.. this is the worst customer service i have ever seen.

Never register on this site...I made so many credits and I think that they sold my account saying that they have deleted my account...

They are cheaters and loosers...

Listia keep suspend long time members my friend 3 yr also got suspension and yes he used paypal on listia. now I even bad luck I nearly win auction, now they even suspend people before you can win any item.
