Lincare Holdings poor customer service

This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I will call and ask for a person, they are always too busy or gone and they take a message to have them call back. They never call back. I'm not talking hours, but days before I finally call them back and tell them how many days since I called last. Then they finally get someone to talk to me. They always either have an excuse or they never say they are sorry. Just bad customer service, period.

On hold 23 minutes for Sales. Then another 6 minutes to find my name and Account Number. After Order I asked to be transferred to Accounting as I had questions about a bill. On Hold again for 3 minutes then THEY dropped the Call! Not wasting my time with them EVER AGAIN. Everyone sells this stuff, why do they have to be so BAD!

Lincare's customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. You have to leave messages and they don't call you back. You also give them important insurance information to find out they never wrote it in the system so I had to call them six times. My mom keeps getting a bill and it's because Lincare has not billed Blue cross Blue Shield. They are so rude. I talked to a supervisor and no difference. Please they are not the only ones that sell wheelchairs in Florida. If I ever need anything for my mom, I will spend more money for what we need but I will get the quality of service. Nobody can be worse than Lincare

Lincare Holdings removal of oxygen

My mothers doctor ordered oxygen for her. She is suppose to have it 24 hours a day. Lincare was providing it for her but came to the house and took everything several weeks ago. Since that time we have called numerous times to try to get her oxygen back, she has ended up in the hospital on a ventilator because of lack of oxygen. No - one at lincare will tell us why they took it or how to get it back. My aunt (A nurse) called them and caused a fuss so they brought us 1 tank out for backup, what ever that's suppose to mean.
When we tried to use it the tank was empty. We called and the guy who we spoke to was a jerk and said that they were out of oxygen until next week. What is my mom suppose to do? Hold her breath until then? She has insurance and doctors orders, how can they just take her oxygen?

Lincare Holdings Lisa J Ries - lincare area manager

Everything posted about Lisa J (Cadwallader) Ries (Area Manager in Minnesota) is true, Lisa is an evil person. Lisa does need to be investigated. Lisa is taking advantage of the Lincare company. She is using the company’s money to buy personal things for herself and her family. Lisa claims that she has to go on business trips for Lincare but the truth is that she uses the company’s money to go on free personal trips. She mails personal packages with the Lincare UPS shipping account number. Lisa’s son Mason needed a nebulizer machine so she stole two nebulizer machines from Lincare. Lisa is stealing money from the company. Lincare needs to hire an outside auditor to go through all the years that Lisa has been an Area Manager at Lincare and you will see that she has been stealing money and items from the company all these years. Because of Lisa Linecare is losing money, employees and clients. Really surprised that Lisa still has a job as Area Manager for Lincare. Lisa is very dishonest and grossly unethical. Lisa lies all the time and she lies to everyone. Lisa is on mental medication to try to treat her many mental illness. Lisa is an awful mother to her son Mason. She is always pawning her son on to other people. Lisa acts like she doesn’t even want to have her son around her at all. Lisa only married Bryan Ries for his money, she never even loved him. Lisa and Bryan had their son Mason then a few years after he was born Lisa divorced Bryan and took all of his money, she took the house and everything in the house. Lisa has always taken advantage of Bryan’s parents Gerry & Mary Jane Ries, rather is be for free childcare or money. When Lisa and Bryan were married Lisa was always cheating on Bryan. No man can ever seem to satisfy Lisa. When Lisa does go on business trips for Lincare she always fools around with guys. Last year one of Lisa’s brothers, Brandon Cadwallader got married and Lisa wanted to be the center of attention even though it wasn’t her wedding. Lisa and her family are nothing but a bunch of Alcoholics! Wake up people, Lisa Ries is bad news!

Lincare Holdings oxygen concentrator machine

I called my region office here in Lawton, Ok over two weeks prior to my arrival in Utah to set up a delivery of a Oxygen Concentration machine to Hill Air Force Base UT, on the date of 15 August 2013 through 20 August 2013. I received a call from my region office a couple days prior to my departure telling me that everything was good to go with the setup in Utah. Once I arrived at the Salt Lake City Ut airport, there was a message left on my phone telling me that I had to be present on base because the base would not allow the delivery person on with a sponsor, so once I get to the base to call the office to meet the delivery person to escort them on base. Once I arrived to HAB.I called the office to let them know that I had made it and was ready to meet the delivery person at the gate to escort them on base. The lincare office told me that they would notify the delivery driver to let them know that I was there and waiting. The delivery driver called about 20 minutes later and said that it would be awhile before he could get the machine delivered because of the other deliveries ahead of me. After eating dinner at the base we had to leave the base area and travel to Westpoint Ut. The delivery man asked if I could meet him off base somewhere so he could drop the machine off with me, I informed him that at the time I was visiting my mother in law at the assisted living facility(Family Tree) in West Point UT. He said that West Point was out of his region and he would call back later to see if we make other arrangements, so we agreed to have it delivered the next moring to HAB. I called the following morning and he had someone else that was set to delivery the machine. Later that day of 16 August 2013 I received a text from Craig from lincare around 3:49 PM asking me to meet him at 1213 West Flint Meadow Drive #6 Kaysville so that he could drop off the machine with me. I replied with Iright now I'm riding around lost trying to find my way back to HAB and he would have to deliver the machine to me at the base, he replied with it would be about 1hr 45 minutes before he could deliver the machine, so I said it's ok with me. Now this was around 3:49 PM when all of this happened. About hour later I called Craig he repiled that the store was closing in 30 minutes and if I wanted a machine I had to make it dowm to the store in order to pick it up, remember this is on 16 August 2013 so I had to spend the whole trip with out me oxygen machine, and it wasn't a pleasant trip.

Lincare Holdings most unethical company out there

What I witnessed in 2 months at Lincare: Non deliveries (every day getting calls that the driver simply did not show up), Patient charts missing, extreme understaffing, Poor response in providing needed supplies (especially CPAP and Portable Oxygen Concentrators), over extended management: manager absent when patients call, lack of training for new employees, contempt toward patients, cutting off oxygen deliveries without notice to patients with payment issues, failure to advise travel patient of prescription requirements in Florida, leading to hospitalization of patient, misleading new patients to get them to sig with Lincare, misleading new employees with false salary promises, holding back on releasing unhappy patients to other companies, even while they are hospitalized, Area Manager calling Hispanic Center Manager "Sanchez"

I have dealt with this company before, and as said, this company is so rude and does not treat the customers with any respect or professionalism. Don't bother filing a complaint-you will be SOL. They don't care about their reputation or goodwill. It's just money and you are a number to them. You need them more than they need you. Get over it.

Lincare Holdings overcharge

I was told the knee walker rented for $50/month. I now know there is no lesser charge for a part of a month. was NOT told that the charge is for an entire month no matter how long I keep the equipment. I had the knee walker for 5 weeks. I was charged for 2 full months with no adjustment for returning it 3 weeks before the second month ended. Very misleading.

Most rentals are month to month. You have to ASK before you rent whether they pro-rate. You used it during a second month. That is your cost. No different from any other place that rents non-medical equipment.

Am reading all these complaints against Lincare and wish I had read them (or better yet, if someone had closed them down) before my dad and i got involved with them. I have been overcharged for my CPAP machine for 2 years. Finally thought I got it straightened out but issues again, and no one from Lincare ever calls back.
Then, my dad had an order for an oxygen machine, which they delivered and started to bill Medicare. However, he decided he didn't want it and called five (5!) times for them to come and pick it up from him over 4 months, and they continuously did not pick it up and continued to bill Medicare. It's a shame that people who need $ from Medicare can't get it because these fraudulent businesses are taking such advantage. Some government entity should investigate Lincare and their billing practices.

Lincare Holdings getting my refund

Had pneumonia, needed oxygen upon release from hospital in march 2013 they would not supply oxygen with out 223.00 down. (Even though I have insurance). Oxygen was dc'd on april 22nd 2013. Long story short they owe mw 158.00 since april 22nd. It is now june 18th and still no check, they told me its a month process... I think its well over a month and if I had not called they would not have processed my refund. I would never recommend them to anyone, go with apri care or someone else.

Lincare Holdings insurance billing

I, too, have had a problem with Lincare. I received my CPAP machine in November, I was told I had to make 10 monthly payments, however I declined and paid all the "payments " in full during the time of delivery of the machine. I think all is well until April rolls around and they tell me I owe them 85 dollars a month since January because it is billed to the insurance companies monthly and my deductible started over and insurance was not paying. I called the billing office many times with my concern. I was told it is "the policy holders responsibility" to know their insurance coverage. I called my insurance company in November to make sure my machine was covered and it was. My problem is not with the lack of coverage, my problem is with the way it was billed to the insurance companies and I was never informed of the way it was billed, how is that my responsibility? Now I am getting phone calls telling me my balance is getting bigger and I need to pay. I paid 50 dollars last month and 20 dollars this month, that is all I can afford. I paid my portion in full when I actually had the money which is why I did it the way I did. I know this can not be the first time this has happened to someone and I got no compassion what so ever from the billing rep. I can't be the first person and I know I won't be the last so why is it not explained better on how it is billed (not the coverage itself) at the time when they can clearly see I paid my portion up front and it was nearing the end of the year. It is easy " your insurance covers 80% and it is billed monthly until paid in full" That simple sentence would have at least alerted me to ask questions. I know there is nothing I can do about it now, but I want to make people aware how this works.

As an about to be former employee, I can suggest a couple of options if you have not done so already
1. Get with your MD, as he/she most likely prefers you stay on your bi-pap, and get thee to another company, and let Lincare know you are doing so, and to once and for all come get the equipment.
2. Be willing to sign an AMA (against medical advice order) and tell them to come pick it up.
Either way, get your doctor in your corner. And an ugly little secret is this: Lincare generally counts it against the service center if/when they have to come pick up equipment. And yes, that does include even when the patient has the unmitigated gall to pass away. I've seen offices NOT go pick up equipment for MONTHS after a patient passed away, so Lincare won't count it against that center. It's disgusting, really, because I've heard them say, " I didn't know he was dead". That's a crock, because somewhere along the line, if that center is doing it's job, they'll be trying to reach that person to do maintenance on equipment, or to at least check in and see how the person is doing...I know there is no need to call a patient literally every single day, but...once every so often is mandatory.

Am so sorry to hear of your woes...as a soon to be former employee, here's a possible tip: when it comes to being on the bipap, it may be that your doc does not want you off it, and may not sign off on the discharge order. So, with that said, you as the patient can do one of 2 things: go to another company and get a bipap from them, and let Lincare AND your doctor know that is what you are doing. (while letting your doctor know, tell him/her why - that you feel the service you're getting is lousy, etc. If you haven't done so already, get your MD in your corner - that way, you are letting him/her know you are trying to follow dr's orders, but on the Lincare end of things, it's not going well, etc.) OR, the second thing you can do, is to tell Lincare point blank to come get the equipment, and you will gladly sign an AMA paper ('against medical advice'/release of liability - just something that says you will not hold Lincare responsible for the ill effects of not staying on your bi-pap.). With all that said, please be aware of 1 thing I know all too well to be true: it's still going to be something of an uphill struggle to get them to come get the machine, because Lincare is ssssssssssssssooooooooooooo concerned about their 'numbers': it counts against the particular office that is servicing you, regardless of the reason why they have to pick up equipment. And yes, I'm here to tell you that even includes if/when a patient dies. It's like Corporate holds it against everybody if/when a patient has the unmitigated gall to actually pass away.

I started with a bi-pap machine Oct.25, 2012 and have had nothing but nightmares with this company. They brought my machine and basically forgot about me till it was time to make money off of supplies. Here it is July 1, 2012 and again I am on the phone with the billing department. I have been lied to, received lousy customer service, they lost paperwork. They made an appointment to bring out new mask after months of me complaining and never showed up for appointment. They overdrew my checking account due to auto withdraw of too many months at one time. When you complain to Fort Wayne IN office they will promise you things and never follow through. I dealt with medical supply companies during my late husband's battle with cancer. I can state for a fact this is the lousiest company . I even asked them how they stay in business. I tried to send everything back and dump them and they told me I couldn't without signing paperwork against doctors orders-like I am being held captive. I did not choose this company. They were given to me.
Please for everyones sake run as far away from Lincare as you can. They need to be put out of business.

Lincare Holdings horrible customer service

Ordered a nebulizer from Lincare I had them ck to make sure Insurance covered it was told yes except for $1.96. was called two wks later for $25.00 now one month later my account was debited for $105.32. Called to return Nebulizer and was told I could not return without an local manager approval. still no help with this situation with Lincare.I simple would like to return this nebulizer and get my money back.Horrible customer service Just horrible!

Lincare Holdings portable oxygen

I am on Dr ordered O2 around the clock. I have a concentrator which is kept upstairs with the tubing encased in heavy plastic because my cat insists on chewing the tubing. I have finally figured out that if I use tanks downstairs with 7 ft tubes pieced together I can get by with doing housework and also can bring the tanks outside and to the basement where I have been doing work with my nephew. I also go out everyday for 3 -5 hours doing what I need to do to stay healthy and active.
For several months now the delivery man has insisted that I was a problem and gave me a hard time just about every week. Today they did not leave me any E tanks and only left me 12 m-6 tanks. I use that many tanks just taking care of business and will now have none for my downstairs/outside/basement activities.
Basically they are forcing me to choose between having O2 at night or in the daytime.
They also have not been sending my c-pap supplies and 2 months ago sent me a 1 month supply and told me i could not order more until the following month. I still have not received any filters. I had not received any supplies in 6 months before that. .
This company has gone seriously down hill in the past few years. Most especially since I have been using more. Believe me they did not complain when I was only using about 12 tanks a month and they were receiving full payments.
I am thinking about changing to a local supplier. That does not seem like my best bet for travel but it might be worth the hassle.

Lincare Holdings oxygen equipment

My sister is completely oxygen dependent. She has excellent health care coverage. She has dealt with the lincare company for several years and their service has deteriorated to the point of gross negligence. Yesterday, she had to be rushed by ambulance to a local hospital because lincare recently provided her with a defective concentrator and ignored her pulmonary doctor's prescription for the correct liters of oxygen. Their negligence resulted in her gasping for air and an emergency hospital stay. The hospital will not release her until they are assured that she has appropriate oxygen at home. Lincare employees have been rude and totally insensitive to my sister. However, they were very cooperative today when the hospital contacted them and made all manner of excuses for their unacceptable behavior and actions regarding my sister. Needless to say, our family is now looking into local alternative home oxygen suppliers.

I have complaints about the Newark Ohio office. Call in for something and it seems like your request falls on Deaf ears. Very poor Customer Service. By reading the other complaints, might be better to change companies. Sent email to corporate office this morning. Am waiting to see if and when I get an answer.

Lincare Holdings refuses to bill insurance

The Lincare here in central Texas is a joke. They refuse to bill our secondary insurance for my nebulizer medications. They state they do not bill secondary insurances. Then why is there a secondary insurance section on the back of the billing statement? Then why do they ask for the secondary insurance info on the front of the billing statement also? Then why when you call them their prompter tells you to let the rep know if you have secondary insurance? Makes no sense. Lincare needs to chance its name to Lindontcare. They are the WORST pharmacy we have ever had to use. We cancelled our service with Lincare and went elsewhere.
They are rude and uncaring people. Don't use them!

Horrible place to work, very disorganized, pay is horrible. They work you like a dog and treat everyone like crap. Center Manager in Falmouth does absolutely nothing all day. Area manager only cares about himself.

I'm an employee, too - I had travelled last summer, about this time last year (August). I had over $300.00 in travel expenses (not nearly the same amount as yours, but still...given the crappy pay, I can ill afford to be out that kind of $$$$$$$$$$.) Anyway, it was right before Christmas and 3-4 follow up expense report submittals before I finally got it...I'm still there now, but can't help but think I work with a bunch of horrible loosers...

I am currently an employee with Lincare. This company owes me over $5, 000.00 dollars for gas mileage and other expenses. I have submitted my expense report twice and have yet to recieve anything. I have left countless messages with the person in charge of our region and have not gotten a single phone call. Im sick of this and I'm on a mission to roll Lincares name in the dirt if I do not get what is owed to me. This company is horrible.

I was referred to Lincare Home Care Services in July 2011 after an accident. I have been trying to get a refund from Lincare for over a year. They continued to bill me and my insurance company after the severe ankle fracture in July of 2011. I kept paying thinking we just owed co--pays so I imagine they were going to milk us for as much as possible. I finally contacted my insurance company to find out why they were not paying for the wheelchair. They informed me we had a prescription for the chair and they paid through that prescription then finished paying it. I had turned the wheelchair in and it was picked up less than a month after renting it because it was huge and I got a small scooter to get around in. I kept invoice that it was, indeed, picked up so they were to have put in a refund for us. I had paid them almost $300.00 too much. I have called them every 2 or 3 months for a year and still no refund. Each time I get the same remarks, "I am sorry, I will get with my supervisor and get a refund started" nothing! I spoke with a couple of girls once February 14, 2013 and once March 11, 3013 and both gave me same statement, "I will personally handle this and get your refund, I do not understand why it had not gone out" the last one said she saw where it was approved and started then stopped. How can companies like this stay in business? I am filing a complaint with the BBB and will continue calling them until I get a check but everyone needs to be forewarned about LINCARE. I am also calling PBOI where my surgeon is and request they check into the company and do not use them any longer for their patients. Will also call Jupiter Medical Center where I had surgery and inform them of the scam on patients. Everyone needs to check their billing statements thoroughly. Horrible business practices.

Lincare Holdings liars

I ordered my infant's special, doctor-ordered formula through Lincare (referred by my insurance company because their prices beat Apria's). Awful experience. I was lied to by the dietitian, resulting in over $900 in unexpected medical bills. I talked to the area manager who was unprofessional and offered no assistance. In reality, their prices DIDN'T beat Apria's. They charged WAY over what they quoted to the insurance customer service rep handling my case. I'm furious. They are unprofessional, their employees are uninformed. I wouldn't recommend using Lincare to ANYONE, for ANYTHING.

Lincare- Ct.
After years of begging my husband to look at his sleep apnea, he did last September. They gave me a quote, which I double checked several times. Well, let me tell you, they are all liars. I have received several bills, that do not jive. When asked for explanations, I have been told just as many stories. They are incredibly rude. Today, I was actually told, that know one in the company will ever speak with me. They will now, after 6 months only speak with my husband. I have been scammed and I am very upset. Any advice is welcome. It's very clear, all too late, lincare has hurt several people.

Lincare Holdings extremely poor service level

I have had several delivery time and no show issues with the Oxygen business at Lincare. Linde was the company name but they were taken over by Lincare. Inept scheduling of deliveries then they do not show or are very late or they just show up without ever scheduling a delivery (like I am waiting all week for these ###s to show up!). Today they were very late, the driver told me that he was covering two territories and had "two more deliveries before mine" and at that time the two hour window was already blown. Very poor management, customer service, and a complete lack of supervisory and managerial skills. I called the answering service and tried to get in touch with Brenda the supposed GM of my office but after two tries through the answering service I gave up. I will hunt her down on Monday before I complain to my doctors and their staffs so that they lose business on top of mine which I intend to shift to a better company. Stay Away! People with medical issues have enough trouble in their life with out dealing with poor customer service.

Lincare Holdings harassment by office manager brad

Lincare of Sierra Vista, AZ is the worse oxygen company I have ever had to deal with. I am an active 66 year old woman who has sarcoidosis, bottom lobe of my lung removed and asthma. I try every day to stay active, swimming and riding my stationary bike outside. To do these things I use E oxygen tanks. The doctor gave Lincare a prescription that stated I use 4 to 6 l.p.m. Brad who is the new office manager at Lincare in Sierra Vista AZ has been harassing me since he started working there a few months ago about how many E tanks I use. He has accused me of drug seeking oxygen which is so outlandish it is laughable. My doctor said if I was drug seeking I should drug seek a "good" drug and laughed. This guy has broked the hippa law and I reported him to his boss, since then he is on a vendetta toward me. I have gotten 2 nasty phone calls from him one of which was today, telling me I will not get the oxygen I requested because 12 tanks is my limit. Last week was Thanksgiving so I used 15 tanks and was brought 9 last week so since it was almost 2 weeks I used more oxygen tanks. He told me to find another company and they would not deliver any oxygen the next day! I called the office a couple of weeks before this and he answered the phone and told me at that time that I still had 8 months left before I fell into the Medicare doughnut hole and I can change O2 companies. No oxygen company will take me with just 8 months of them getting paid and a year of not getting paid. This man treats me like a child on the phone and talks down to me. Reminds me of a bill collector. I am his customer! I saw another complaint on the internet in regards to this guy so I am not the only one unhappy with him. I am now on breathing treatments because after our little go around on the phone I am in an asthma event worried about my oxygen. I have filed at least 3 complaints through their corporate offices and nothing has become of them. I have talked to his district manager and we agreed on 12 E tanks a week and nothing was said about C tanks. Brad is saying 12 tanks altogether E and C combined. This was not what his boss and I agreed to. This guy is out of line and is on a vendetta against me.

I am a long term cancer survivor who has had Lincare halve my oxygen bottle supply as well.I also suffer from asthma.I know EXACTLY how you feel after talking to Lincare's minions!Its NOT, just Brad, honey;the rot goes all the way to the top.The contempt that you feel from these folks is company wide among higher executives.In order for those few with rudimentary consciences to sleep at night, they tell themselves we caused our own problems(probably by smoking).Well, I never smoked a cigarette in my life, nor did I drink, do drugs, or even eat meat when I got cancer at 19.It was a pesticide exposure(house was tented for termites;w/in 6 mos.both dog and i developed lymphatic cancers.)The "treatment"I was then given(radiation)fried my lungs and heart.How I am at fault for any of this I fail to see.I am guilty only of trusting what professional people told me was "safe"(yeah, safe for their bank accounts!) I suspect many Lincare patients are in the same boat;helpless victims of outrageous misfortunes.Even former smokers do not deserve such contempt as Lincare employees heap on them.Nicotine addiction is a harsh master that many never escape.It is a disease, not as much of a "lifestyle choice"as Lincare executives pretend so they can look in the mirror each morning.I have watched people I love struggle desperately to quit.The snide, nasty attitude heartless Lincare employees demonstrate towards patients is obscene.Lincare also cut my bottled oxygen(while still billing my insurance for the concentrator they KNOW I can't use!.)The unhelpful woman at Lincare suggested I call my utility company for help when I told her it blew fuses, heated up my house, +doubled my electric bill! Florida in mid August is as hot as Arizona.Miserable soul, sitting in her AC cooled office, telling a single mom cancer survivor to get help from the worlds least helpful utility!I hope she and ALL Lincare executives spend eternity in a VERY hot place!
I suspect the bottled oxygen is less profitable for them; that is why patients seeking bottled oxygen are getting short shrift.Your experience was so similar to mine that I had to respond;I even had them torture me over billing issues that were not my fault(a years worth!)They make false promises to enlist people, then they proceed to torture their patients.Sadly, we are easy prey for these predators;its hard to fight back when you can't breathe!
Brad is just a small, smelly cog in the whole rotten machine that is Lincare.It goes all the way to the top, I assure you.My mother spoke to Shawn Schnabel, Lincare's president about my situation; her assessment of his character is not printable.What I can tell you in socially acceptable terms, is this;he has as much sympathy for the people that enrich him as an alligator has for its lunch! Prehaps the solution for all of us is to take our cash out of his claws! A company that bribes physicians to use their service, & then shortens patients lives by literally choking their air supply off doesn't deserve to profit from our misery.I am looking into smaller companies.

Lincare Holdings cold-calling

Lincare is a company that uses a autodialer to cold-call homes late in the evening to sell their services and merchandise. I received a phone call just before 9 PM and asked to speak to the night manager. When he answered he gave his first name as "Courtney" but was unwilling to provide his last name. I told him that I didn't blame him for being ashamed of the work he was doing, but that he had no excuse for being a coward. This company and its activities are unethical and demonstrate little regard for their customers. From reading of other complaints registered against this company, I would say that it borders on the criminal. Do you business with them at your own risk. You've been warned.

Placed an order with LINCARE in Mesa AZ on April 4 2014. Local LinCare has not delivered, called, or notified me regarding unnecessary delay in any way. I have called their local office two times, and always get the same type of responses: (1) it's still in billing; or (2) your Doctor's office has not sent the material we need.

Both answers are cover-ups as I have had no problem with past insurance billing (2 kinds) and previous company paid 100% of routine orders for Mask; tubing; water chamber; etc., In addition I faxed them a copy of the necessary doctor prescription; old C-Pap records of medical necessity; along with past records & invoices of past activity etc. All this, then a Company specialist wants me to come into their office before they can process my formal request? (Rep did come to house; re-signed everything; then went into the "Black Hole".

It appears LINCARE Gilbert AZ was a poor choice for the ordering of routine C-Pap supplies. Readers are advised to AVOID THIS COMPANY especially if you need SERVICE. It's a good thing I have a couple of old masks. tubing, etc. I am worried what I will run into when the "old masks" are totally unusable.
Worse yet, if this company continues to provide such poor service here in AZ. they won't be in business much longer. LinCare has lost the opportunity to make at least 2 mask (+) sales so far, am I am getting material ready for a better or replacement company, AND AVISE YOU DO THE SAME!

Lincare Holdings supping cpap machine noing lost contract with insurance

In dec of 2011 I went to lincare in greeneville tenn. To get new cpap because I had be doing busness ther for a few years I obtained a cpap filled out insurance paper work till last of may got bill for 7 months of charges for rent to buy on cpap ins would not cover because they were not contracted with my insurance since november of 2011. Is this deceivetful not telling customer or is it a way to get money noing customer will have to pay bill since insurance has no contract with supplier

My wife has received oxygen support services from LinCare for over and year and they have been great to work with. We have traveled to several states and they have made the necessary arrangements with little confusion. We have learned that we have to double check because they do have some communication cracks--as would be expected in any system this large. Our experience with them has been very positive and much of the credit may go to the driver/support person who has serviced us.

Lincare Holdings overcharges

Ripoff on cpap machine, told me it was rent to own (Then later told they are not a rent-to-own company) when purchased and I would never pay more than $25 a month with insurance etc. Excessive billing for an $800 retail machine, paid nearly $700 out of pocket. Shysters. Never ever do business with again.

Completely agree - Lincare has been one of (if not THE) worst companies I've ever dealt with. They are rip-off artists with labcoats on. They have botched EVERY invoice from day 1, they send the incorrect replacement pieces and then charge an arm and a leg ($100 for replacement nose pillow that can be found online for $24.95?!) - $20 for a filter...on a unit that has a re-usable filter?! Unbelievable.

I also am having problems with their billing practices. 6 months ago I purchased a CPAP with heated humidifier. I was told the machine had a five year warranty. I was also told that if I needed a new hose or water tank, I would need to pay for those items. I had no problem with this, however, two days ago, I just received a bill from Lincare for a service agreement, for which they billed my insurance $210.00. I only paid $700 for the machine. When I called they told me this is their practice and this fee is billed every six months. I was not informed of this when I purchased the machine nor did I sign any paperwork agreeing to purchase this service agreement. I will be calling the local office on Monday. This is nuts! If you have a choice, ask your doctor for your prescription and shop around. Don't do business with Lincare. By the way, this is not the first billing issue I have had with this company.

Lincare Holdings poor mangement and president followup

The reason lincare has so many locations, is ok, but they treat there employees like a dog on a chain a thick one at that. Center
Manger take advantage of csr, they walk around doing nothing, all they do is read emails, use there private cell phones, dont come to work and say they are getting cmns. They set a goal of getting 5 per week, they get the ones already done, they don't get the top 50, t hey blame why ar is so high on the csr, why the president has not review what they do, because if he did, he would know, its bull #, if god would strike, they would be dead, we have to walk around with our heads down, because center mangers put there responsiblity on the csr period. We vacuum the office and warehouse, we ship pt supplies, we work all ar, we answer the phones, we even retrieve there reports, we have to delv to there ofc, they wont get off there # and get nothing, they use the president name as he said so. You as a center manger to help, they don't, they say what you say and say over there with out using their finger, just there neck. You say how your family feel about, (I'm assume to say corporate) why I never seen such selfish company in my years! I'm not saying this because I not working for them and I know they lose a excellent worker management use others that and they cheat because you as a csr run things, president of the company if god was my witness, center manger need to carry a cell phone that track there were about because they are not on your side, they stay home they shop, they hang out and its not about lincare 5 days a week.. I have videos to proof, also watch out for those therapist play center manger and therapist, and read what they put in clients comm logs, I can go on but before you down apria and your own csr, check your center manger and area manger, they don't like the csr, but at the end of the day who working, the csr, ive been doing this for over 20 years, I find this the most I can't even explain the managements. They [protected]@=% @ milking the company even sales for the money its easy money but csr are under paid. Just for this if I don't get nothing out of it. I will do my followup for the csr @ drivers... Its 2012, we love the clients they love us.
Ps I put the preasure on mangement thats why I not there, because I fight for the clients, and if you as them, they will tell you so, they also have sent letters to corporate. Fyi help me, I just dont get the business. Try that lincare you want to hire dummies with no expirence. (Dont get this twisted, I have no problem working) but teach center manger, and area mangers, sales to show reaaaaal proof of they work for lincare, hay what you have to do to joy you dont backup yourself up. I'm putting you on front street about work, not playing, i'm about clients not about self...
Any way how long you been around cause you worry about csr, and ive done both, check out your under grad... If you dont I dont feel sorry for the president that may be doing the same thing... Nothing cause csr and service tech, I mean all the work, I checked it my self, my manger has dont care they work know chain of comand protects them, as they say dont hate the player hate the game, I love the client and I will miss them completly, I hope they get the service gave them.
