Hello My name is Gloria Martinez and I went to liberty tax because they said I would receive 50 dollars for filing with them and also for referral. They were very rude and unprofessional after I did my taxes with them. The lady in charge told me to call back on that Monday to receive my 100 dollars so o did. When I called I was told they had no money and for me to call again Tuesday well I did and they lady said, "don't call up here no mo, I'm call you when it get here. Well I have yet to receive a call or any money. When I went to do my taxes the lady in charge was asleep in the office ! Very unprofessional again. I also didn't receive a copy of my paper work that I filled out red flags everywhere. I will never go back again. Very poor service. I live in Birmingham al. And I went to the Roebuck parkway location. Will I ever receive the money I was promised? My number is [protected] and my email is [protected]@aol.com

Did my taxes February 10th 2019 the girl that did them messed my taxes up really bad and was off on refund 2000 dollars huge mistake got a lot less then took seven months to get my taxes because of her mistakes told me they would refund me the charge for doing my taxes then when I I got my taxes she called me said she wasn't giving me a refund that she would do my taxes for free next year hell no I'm never going back they lied and they never return calls or answer phone

I filed my taxes on February 11 for my 2018 tax return never had a problem with filing with liberty before the lady that did my taxes messed my taxes up bad first she didnt file a form that was suppost to be substituted for a w-2 form then she told me I was getting 6795 dollars back on taxes wrong she was way off didnt get my taxes till 7 months later said they would reimburse me 471 filing fee back to me they lied she called me said her manager would only do my taxes for free next year they told me they were writing me a check then they didnt

I am very dissatisfied with liberty tax and will never do taxes with them again for giving tax check to only one party listed on the joint check when other years both people had to be there to sign for it. Very bad customer service . Called corporate headquarters and no one is able to help. Everyone just seems to change their rules when they know they messed up

Hi my name is Cecilia Perez and I'm doing this complaint because I file for taxes 2017 the representative did not explain to me how much would they going to charge and I believe he charge me almost $1, 000 which is like $8 less and I've been calling they've been saying that they're going to have a district manager call me but she hasn't for any reason the past 3 weeks and I explained to her everything that represent the secretary they have there so I need to know what's going to happen with my money but young man was very rude and he did not explain everything of a taxes return so I need to please

Ive been more than patient (as if I had a choice) waiting on this return. I have been in touch with irs and republic bank. What I finally found out was that staff at liberty ignored all attempts to verify my information for republic back (middle man). I have now waited 4 months on a return. Fee after fee at the bank (irs actually issued the return on 2/23 so I set up auto deduct) because republic again since they werent able to verify information sent the return back. I spoke with republic who were able to verify dates and times they reached out to liberty tax service. To say im upset is an understatement. Fee's, stress, struggling to make ends meet after all the fee's and paying my regular bills isn't worth it. It took me 3 months to gain control of the fee's and payments. Every time I got a paycheck, it covered the previous weeks fee's. I made promises to creditors and still no refund. Never again will I use this company, and I will be telling everyone about the poor service. Hell, corp didnt even return my call

I been a loyal customer for 5+ years and have been taken care of me in the past. My recent return had a major error which cost almost all my money, so I'm coming to you so that you can direct m how I can file for need to be compensated by Liberty Tax. I came to for your professionalism and someone incompetent handled by tax return cost me my money. If she would have been knowledgably she should know that the form (injured Spouse) was not going to give me the most return. That's what your office guarantees. ( Its even on your web page Accuracy Guarantee Our office will give you the most accurate return and the largest possible refund you are entileed to receive...) Per IRS themselves I should have filed Files filing sperate. Unfortunately, you guys are employing someone who didn't know that they were doing. Therefore, I feel Liberty Tax should cover the amount taken.

I had a lady name Kristin Davis to prepare my 2016 taxes, she stated that the fee would be $125.00...i kept this in my inbox for proof...After about 3 weeks..I could no longer contact Ms Davis...she wasnt answering her phone..or texts.She never returned any calls, i never knew if i was receiving a refund until one year later. I was told by the TAS
..that i had indeed got a refund, but it was deposited into another account not mines..And the it was for charges and fees..the ironic thing was...the fees was the exact amount as my refund..$566.00.I didnt receive a dime..Dont know how they pulled that off..I am pissed

I had my tax done at Liberty Tax Office in Roxboro, NC on January 6th, 2018. At the time Joanne Long stated to me that they were not yet excepting state returns and that mines would be transmitted as soon as they start excepting them. I began checking on my state return on the where s my refund site about two weeks ago and they continuously told me it hadn't been processed. So on Friday, March 2nd, I called Liberty to check on when my return was transmitted to the state of North Carolina and was told my return hadn't been transmitted yet. I was given an apology and told it was being sent then. I'm very dissatisfied in that Liberty charges some very high fees and I expected my tax to be done properly. I thought my state taxes were done processing by now and they haven't even began. This is very bad business.

I had my taxes prepared in for tax year 2016 at the Liberty Tax on Main Ave in Norwalk CT for my business and for my Mom's personal taxes. Both were done incorrectly and I had to pay another accountant $1500 to fix the business taxes and they corrected my Mom's taxes after she got an IRA letter claiming she was owed more money. The offered to do my Mom's taxes for tax year 2017 for free. I went to take them up on their offer and they have closed that office. I have called the Liberty Tax Corporate office many times and they will take no responsibility. The BBB cant help me. Don't use them as Corporate doesn't step in for poor franchisees

As I was talking with a tax preparer at the Granite City IL Liberty Tax location on the evening of 2/5/18. A worker there by the name of Lindsay Davis upon seeing me at the facility called her mother Veda (Davis) Neer to come to that location knowing her mother had made false allegations against me in the past and has a "problem" with me. As Veda Davis-Neer came in, I was still trying to stay focused on getting my taxes filed and ignore Ms Neer's glaring and gleaming at me as if to antagonize a confrontation. I informed my preparer a bit about the situation and asked that she DELETE my account and return to me ALL my paperwork-even from the previous year still in their possession: receipt's & various documents with my most vital information. I told her I do NOT want Lindsay or Veda (Davis) Neer to have access to any of my personal information.
I want to make sure that has been taken care of by someone in upper management-other than employees at that location and both Lindsay Davis and Veda Davis-Neer be reprimanded for their actions towards me.

This placed charged me 399 dollars to just file my 1040 ez and I don't realize till they were handing me my paperwork and saying thank you. I was completely scammed and thought it was free to e file because the lady in the phone said it was cheaper than h and r block which was 60 dollars. So they basically charged me 400 for 20 minutes of work . I only worked half the year so this is rediculous. How can they get away with this. On the internet it said the e-file was free and new customers get 50 dollars cash. How can you charge 399.95 in handling fees for a simple 1040ez that was only for 7 months? She didn't even get my right email or anything.

I had my business and personal taxes done on March 1, 2015 at the Liberty Tax 3419 West Division Street St Cloud MN Office Number 13883 by Brandi Taylor. I received a letter from the IRS on May 30th 2017 that I owed money for unpaid Self-employment tax. I called the St. Cloud Office to help remedy the issue, they returned my call and told me I would have to make an appointment and they do those on Mondays and Fridays. I could not bring in my 2015 return and letter on that Monday so I went to a different Liberty Tax in Hutchinson MN. I had to have them prepare an amended return because there should have been Two Schedule C's instead of the one, and the income that should have been put with the second Schedule C was put under "Other Income" in the amount of $8, 000.00, after speaking with an obviously more qualified tax Professional is wrong. I want all of the $386.00 I paid in tax prep fees refunded as I had to pay to fix the 2015 return.

I have worked for the LTS location in Monroe NC for 2 years. An employee knowingly and fraudulently used my child's information to help a friend get EIC. The owner IS aware, with documented proof, of these actions. The owner has not only failed to help me correct this identity theft issue, she has NOT reported the incofficeof this compromise to corporate offices and has now taken me off schedule effectively firing me. If ANYONE uses that location for their taxes, please protect yourselves AND your information. Get an IP PIN from the IRS!

I went to get my taxes done at the norwalk ohio office and before I went I asked about claiming her oldest son and her since im the only one working and they said I could taking care of a kid that isnt mine and was told it would be about $150 well it was almost $100 more in fees and was told I wasnt able to claim them I got ####ed and corporate isnt really doing anything about it. They are scam artist and liars I would not recommend them to anyone. On top of that the guy that did my taxes had an attitude. Dont go to liberty tax services they are ripoffs
