I purchased a lg tv model lg-49ub850t, it broke down on april 2019, your agent top express came to collect the tv for repair on 15/4/2019. We follow up few times with them for the repair status, however, they told me that lg had given them wrong power board for two times. Till now 31/5/2019 (after 1.5 months), they still havent start repair my tv and no feedback or follow up given. I personally call up to lg office on 17/5/2019 to tell the situation, the lg customer service told me she will direct call to top express. However, according to top express, they never receive any call from lg officer. I wonder what is the solution now? How long should I wait again? Lg dont have any after sales service? This is a replacement French door LG and it is doing the exact same thing as the previous refrigerator. The interior gasket ices up and my freezer items get a layer of frost and then freezer burn. My produce inside the refrigerator does not stay fresh. I have had a repairman out and he indicated at that they are skimping on the insulation on the exterior walls of the refrigerator and that it's not keeping the outside air out of the interior of the refrigerate causing a condensation build-up. He said there is nothing they can do. I have no small children and my husband and I work all day long so the refrigerator Barely is opened during the day.What an expensive $3000 worth of garbage. I had to fight for nearly a year for LG to replace the refrigerator after numerous repair calls which it was still under a warranty And still doing the same thing. I can't wait until it dies and I can get another fridge

I recently had problems with my oven . I called Premi um Appliance Repair service. The service man installed a new ignition bake. This cost me $298.00.The service man left after setting the oven to 350 degrees. Within 1 hour the oven door sealed and stated on the board high heat. The service wants a additional $300.00 for a new brain. I am very upset . This stove is about 4 to 5 yrs old. There is only my husband and my self . I cannot think we did excessive use or misuse. My husband shut off the gas supply as we were concerned about fire as the got hotter and hotter.I put more trust in LG then a stove that last a few years . incomplete picture on lg 49 inch tv
I bought a brand new LG 49 inch TV a couple years ago. It does not, , , and never has...shown a full picture. I've tried all the settings...16:9...4:9...zoom...cinema zoom 1... none of them fill out the picture as it is shown by the station. It's as if yous put 60 inch screen parts with a 49 inch screen. i have an 8 year old l g refrigerator that needs a compressor, it would think that after spending $1500.00 dollars it would last at least 10 to 15 years, unfortunately i purchased an lg, a mistake i will no longer make, your products are not very good, Now i am out $300 dollars worth of food and $75.00 for someone to tell me i need to spend another $700.00 dollars to repair it. I have purchased new refrigerator from LG main branch in Dammam Saudi Arabia at the Dammam-Khobar highway
The driver brought the refrigerator and due to the need to remove a door inside the house, the driver left the refrigerator in the street. He did not come back
He was upset and stated he is fasting and has to go for food. I did not even receive or signed any papers for delivery.
The Egyptian receptionist in the main branch fid not help and stated with harsh language to go and complain as LG is not listening to anybody.
Very disappointed with LG.

I have a Frenchdoor refrigerator. it is 2 years old and completely shut down. It took 3 weeks to get it fixed. Needed a new compressor. I have to wait another week before I can use the frezzer, just incase this one doesn, t work. That did not made me feel good about the product.
The water and ice smell and taste bad. Can this be fixed. I know I am not the only one
I should have better quality for what I paid for this.

I originally called LG customer service on May 3rd at 8:46 am. My fridge was warm and everything in my freezer had thawed. I was told that the repair would be covered by LG and service was scheduled for May 9th. The tech came, spent a short amount of time and told my husband that the compressor was bad. H said he had a part to order but would be back mid-morning May 13th. He never showed up (I waited ALL day) and calls to his company went unanswered. On May 14th, I again waited all day, while also making frequent calls to LG to verify that service would actually take place. Every agent I spoke to informed me that they also couldn't get the tech's on the phone, nobody had a solution (even Sandy, a supervisor), except to keep waiting. The tech finally called me directly at the end of the day on Tuesday to inform me that he would arrive at 8 am on May 15. He and two other techs (who referred to themselves as the three stooges) worked for three hours, plugged in the fridge and left. He told my husband that if there were any issues that I could call him directly. When the fridge was still not cold May 16, I called the tech directly and left a voicemail with no return call. I called LG again on May 17. The rep was able to get me scheduled for May 21 between 8 am and 12 pm. The tech did not show and calls to the business went straight to voicemail. After several calls to LG, they finally found me another repair company. However, the earliest appointment is now June 3rd. In case you lost track, that is ONE MONTH without a refrigerator. Don't even get me started on the number of rude service reps and supervisors I've spoke with! I have missed 2.5 days of work waiting for techs that don't show up. I have cumulatively spent hours on hold and speaking to customer service reps. I have been asked to complete multiple surveys. I've completed two and had nothing positive to say in either of them. It's time for LG to step up and either repair or replace my refrigerator this week!
air conditioner; junk window unit after 10 months
Bought a lg 8, 000 btu window a/c (for bedroom) from home depot (for about $200.) july 2018 with one year warranty. May, 2019 (less than one year) unit fan motor slowed (barely blows air, at all) and began making awful roaring sound. It was installed in wall so we could still use our window. Contacted l g support about unit and was told to remove a/c from wall put on flat surface and wait 3 days for tech to come and check it out.
Meanwhile, it's may in houston, tx., it's 90 degrees, 100% humidity, heat index over 100 degrees and l g support is in denver! It will cost more than $199.99 to send a tech to my house and cost me over $250. To wait between 8am and 12 noon (lost wages). Instead of trashing this junk and replacing it, l g want to waste time and money on foreign b.S. I will never, ever by l g (less good) again.

I bought a dishwasher for over $800 dollars and have only used it for 14 months. Now the washer is giving me LE reading. Spending over $800 on an appliance of my hard earned money and now the unit is not even working.
ON top of that I keep receiving mail asking me to buy extended warranty! What is this selling crappy roducts and then asking consumers to buy extended warranty to repair your crappy products!
Looks like I did not make the right choice of buying a good product. So you manufacture products that break down in one year and then expect consumers to pay hundreds getting it repaired if they cannot affort your expensive extended Warranty?
I will be submitting more feed back on your face book page so everyone knows to be weary of your products.

I believe I can be of some help.
All forms of merchandise have the possibility for problems. Some are from broken or defective parts, other issues can be from external problems. In order to keep the merchandise's pricing competitive to the market, most manufacturers provide a one year-limited warranty with the merchandise. LG actually goes beyond that by offering a 10 year, pro-rated part warranty on select parts. Although LG does offer extended warranties directly, many retailers offer extended support too.
The first step I'd recommend taking is using any Android based or IOS based smart phone and downloading LG Smart ThinkQ app. This app will help diagnose the problem and may provide an easy solution without even needing a service call. If a service call is recommended, this app will also help with that.
You'll find it helpful to contact your retailer. They can provide you the specific warranty coverage on the unit you purchased. They'll also be the ones to likely help you set up a service call to rectify the problem.
Hopefully this will lead you to a happy and enjoyable solution to your problem.
bottom-freezer refrigerator & greek customer service
I bought an LG bottom-freezer refrigerator almost a month ago. Service came and rearranged the doors to open in other direction. After rearrangindg the doors I have noticed that they are not alligned correctly. Greek customer service refused to fix the problem or replace the refrigerator. They were really rude and quarrelsome. It is a shame for LG to be represented by such companies.

I am based in Ghana, (Kumasi), I am a dealer of LG products and usually purchase from Somotex & Unique. I operate by the company name "The Smart Buyer Company Limited", recently one new company who claims also to be a new Distributor, avalied himself as Mr Mohammed, from Giantech Electronics, a dubai based company and now recent in Ghana, his approach was humble and he sent me his item list and assured that he can compete with good pricing and good customer service.
1. I called him on the 1st of May 2019, booked 3 units of Hometheathres model no 655BK, and pricing was better and his terms were stricly CASH, which I complied, and when the items were delivered, I paid the cash to his Ghanaian representative called "John".
2. On the 7th Of May, I get a order from my client, who requires 2 units of LG 43 Satellite, I called MR Mohammed, and requested him to send me the products, he replyed back by saying, first please deposit the funds, I told him, last order u supplied there was no such condition, however it is not a issue, please send me your company account, so I can then deposit the funds and u can then send me the products, he sent me a personal account details, I wasent comfortable as, I am ordereing from a company and not a seperate indivisual, I told him please send me the company account details, he said, he will send it, as he is with a customer.. I waited for GOOD 45 minutes, I then sent him a message on whatsup, that, this is not professional, and my customer cannot wait for 45 min, I have already commited to my client and assured that she will get the LG 43 tv the next day, and I also told Mr Mohammed that I willl complain to the HEAD of Department in LG and as well in their Dubai based office... when I called him he picked up the phone amd was very rude and said that he himself, and his director here in ghana as well as his overseas head director has told him NOT TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH ME AND NO ANY MORE TRANSCATIONS. as they were not happy with my message written by me to inform the management of Giantech.
3. He hang up the phone on me and I had to loose the business. Sir, I am a very potential customer and dealer in LG, u can please refer my company to Mr IM, who was the head of operations last year, I had won 2 contracts for VRF system airconditioners, one was at harper road branch at Ghana commercial bank, the project was almost 100, 000$, u can please ask MR Nirdosh and Mr Im as well as Mr Shankar who are at somotex., the second project was at Ghana commercial bank, main office, in accra as they wanted to buy Chillers, but unfortunatelly the contract when to Daiken as Unique Appliances were not able to hanldle the client well.
4. The bottom line is, any dealer can get business and business is for growth, we are all here to grow LG and to promote LG, as that is the TARGET, why should a distributor hire a teenager, who cannot even speak english well, and be abusive as well as rude to we distributors.
I have the audio file of the telephone conversation as well as the whatsup data.. I was never rude, rather was humble and also spoke and told Mr Mohammed we are here to do business not to have EGO and attitude problem.
Apart from that, he involves his boss and does not even give his superiors number and says openly that, the whole compay from Dubai till Ghana shall not deal with me
I feel to me its a very big insult as well as bad business for me an for LG. all conditions were complied so why have such a bad customer service and why such harsh decisions taken on my company profile..
I would be greatful if this matter is addressed and also this who confusion and misunderstanding to be resolved.

After talking with 4 representatives and 2 of the 4 being supervisors, I am extremely upset with how they handle customer support. They guaranteed a time for my dryer to be fixed since it is new and is burning my clothes. After two days of taking off work and several hours of being on the phone, LG still has not resolved the issue. I recommend if you are looking into products, do not buy LG due to the customer service to fix their appliances. My dryer is only a month old.

I spent $2, 119.99 dollars on this refrigerator. After 3 1/2 years (April 2019) it just stopped cooling. I called my warranty company who referred me to a local service repair shop apparently authorized to repair it with a new compressor. LG refused to send me the parts telling me my local service repair man isn't actually authorized and pushed A+E fleet on me, I refused because that is not who my warranty company referred me to. That was 1 1/2 weeks wasted. Warranty company then referred me to another service repair shop who diagnosed the fridge with bad compressor (as well). Again, LG would not send me or local repair shop the parts. Again suggested A+E, again I refused because my warranty company did not refer A+E to me. Another week wasted. I called back the warranty company to tell them LG wont work with anyone but A+E it seems. Warranty company told me to go with whoever LG referred then. That was a complete waste of 2 1/2 weeks. A+E came Wed 5/1, changed the compressor. Didn't work. Came again Friday 5/3 changed the condenser, that didn't work. I called LG on Saturday 5/4 letting them know my frustration. Customer service is awful by the way, phone operators are rude the executive department is no help. Nothing is escalated. No body cares that a customers 2 thousand dollar, 3 1/2 year old refrigerator (not microwave, not toaster oven) doesn't work. This is an everyday appliance. So now it's Monday 5/6/19 the earliest A+E could come back was Thursday 5/9 to come look at it again. This is unacceptable! This should be escalated. There is no reason why a customer has to wait another second (let alone 5 more days) to be services a third time. I have two kids, I'm using a cooler and a neighbors fridge for a month now. This is absurd and unacceptable. If LG cared, they would take care of this issue sooner than later and not make anyone wait as long as I have, patiently. Its been 4 weeks and counting . I find it hard to believe Not one person has any power to rearrange schedules with A+E (LG's authorized service tech) to get me taken care of sooner. I find it extremely hard to believe no one could make that happen. It's the least LG could do. Make a customer feel they are important, instead LG makes me wait and resolved nothing.

Extreme failure of electronic in the 2014/15 run of LG TVs. An investigation will show many cases of failure in the led strips or corresponding electronics. The cost of the product was for a premium tv and not a third rate knock off. LG should offer free repair/replacement. Average life appears to be 2-4 years. Competing brands at similar cost have a life span of approximately twice as long.

Kindly my washing machine motor is still under Guarantee but main board was defected and LG agency & service center refused to order a new board as they stopped producing or exporting spare parts for this model anymore and they informed me that I should replace my washing machine with a new one which isn't accepted at all and I had informed them that I will escalate this issue for mother company to take the proper action

My smart tv does not have a WiFi connection and I can't watch it it's been months. The reps keep you on hold for an hour and I'm left having to pay for a repair service. I'm being ripped off it's only a little over a year and I can't when enjoy my television. I am trying to see how you guys can help me because I'm really upset because this is my first smart tv and it's very disappointing.
You fail to mention how old this unit is or whether it's still under any corn of warranty period.
One simple solution is to purchase something like a ROKU stick. When used along with your TV, you'll get the same functionality of not more.

About six years ago, I purchased all new appliances hoping to forego problems as my wife and I get older (80+). Great idea but not with LG. They do not stand behind their product.
We were warned that LG's warranty was horrible. We purchased Home Depot's extended warranties. Thank goodness for that. We have had major problems with all the appliances. Our latest comes from our washing machine with a frozen motor. We can only deal with a specific repair shop. They are rude to deal with. The repair estimate is as much as a new washer.
Dealing with repair issues, lack of help from LG, rude and expensive repairmen have made our LG experience very unpleasant. I wish I could warn everyone thinking of purchasing their products to look somewhere else.
