LG Electronics lg washer/dryer

So Disappointment in LG Appliances

I have tried since December 2019 to resolve some issues I am having with my LG washer/dryer in November 2019 purchased from HomeDepot.
After calling three times, each time I am told something different. LG customer services is HORRIBLE. First, you are talking with a customer services department I am assuming outside of the US. With that being said, you will go no further than LG customer service. LG have trained them to resolve nothing in regards to your complaint.

The first time I called in, I was told someone would call me back; never did. I was also told it was HomeDepot responsibility to deal with my concerns even though still under LG warranty for the first year; not true.

The second time I called in I was told by the customer services representative that she would personally call me back in regards to my concern; she did not.

The third time I called in I was informed that no one would call be back that LG customer service deals with the issue. If I gave her the serial number on the washer, she would send out a service representative (I was never told this before). I told her that I cannot give her the serial number which is on the side of the machine in a tight spot. She informed that if I can't give her the serial number, she could not send anyone out. I have explained this to LG customer service two times before LG should put serial numbers on the front of the machines so then this wouldn't be an issue. I requested to speak with a Supervisor and was advised no one was available and someone would call me back. I reminded her that she had already informed me that no one from LG customer service calls anyone back.

This is the WORST customer services I have ever deal with.

I would not recommend LG appliances to anyone. LG appliances are lousy, and LG customer services is even WORST.

So Disappointment with LG and really LG doesn't care!

Do not purchase LG appliances.

LG Electronics microwave refund case # cnn191207407765

I bought a LG Microwave and in less than 3 months stop working. I called customer service and initiated a claim CNN191207407765 which approved to buy exactly same microwave in order to refund it. I went to same store and bought same microwave. However, the new microwave was $79.00 more expensive than the first one.

I mentioned to customer service and told me do not worries about they will take care of it. I received my refund check for $164.23 for the original price rather than the replacement cost of $240.00.

Not only the inconvenience was for me with brand new microwave was defected to begin with and I had to get another one and pay out of my pocket until received the refund. Now the refund is less than the original price.

I am asking the difference of $79.00 to cover the replace me cost. I spoke with Kathy the supervisor and said that I could speak with anybody else and LG coult not do anything about it.

LG Electronics washer

Our 3 year old washer exploded today causing damage to drywall and a laundry tub. The machine actually turned around 180 degrees. The only thing keeping it from not moving more was the electric plug. Calling LG was no help since I couldn't find my original receipt and proof of extended warranty. Honestly I don't think I should need an extended warranty for something like this! This should never have happened. Luckily we were home or I would have never known what happened. It didn't give any warnings that something was wrong just exploded! I don't even know what to do next! I asked them if this had ever happened before and they wouldn't answer me!

Here we are almost 3 weeks later and I am still getting the run around from not only LG but the warranty company too! I have filed a claim with LG for my damage and they were supposed to contact me within 3 to 5 business days. It’s been 16 days now! When I call I get nowhere! Had a company look at the washer on the 15th and they tell me they had to send the parts list to the warranty company so they can “fix” it! Told me they sent it on the 17th. Called them today and was told they are waiting on parts! Called warranty company and they have no record of receiving anything from them so they called them. They are sending the parts list again and they should be in within 5 to 7 business days! Ha! The guy who looked at the washer never even looked at what was broken when he saw the condition of it so how did they order parts? Do they really think they can fix this! Just another stalling tactic! Can’t wait for them to come fix this washer!

The model # is WT7600HKA. I have contacted my extended warranty company. My issue is with all the damage done to my laundry room! They will only cover the washer. Again this should have never happened and luckily we did purchase an extended warranty to cover the washer. I just want compensated for repairing the damage to my laundry room! This should be on LG.

Appreciated reading your review. The information you've provided doesn't include the specific model number. It looks to me that it could be a 1901 -- which is actually a pretty good series of washer.

As with most merchandise, LG series washers are commonly provided with a one year-limited warranty, along with a 10 year motor, prorated warranty. Whereas your within the third year, the manufacture's warranty wouldn't come into play. Any warranty coverage would have to be in the form of an extended service program. I'd contact the retailer you purchased the unit through. Many such retailers will have a way of looking up the purchase and any extended warranty coverage. They (the retailer) can then assist you in getting the unit looked at for either servicing or replacement.

LG Electronics refrigerator lfxs29626s/01

This refrigerator failed on Christmas day 2019. The appliance dealer we purchased it from diagnosed the problem as a sealed system failure which is still under warranty for parts and labor. The problem is LG can not find anyone to service it and apparently is unwilling to refund or replace the unit. So, it's been 10 days now with no remedy in sight. DO NOT BUY ANY LG APPLIANCES.
Their customer service is non-existent.

I am living in Los Angeles, United States, I bought a 75 inch LG TV 75UK6190PUB, serial unmber: 902RMBW2M173 on March 05, 2019, it was good quality, the TV unplugged and put it the the side of wall on August 25, 2019 because my house need remolded, on September 20, 2019, I tried to put this TV on plug to watch it, unfortunately it came with a lots of HORIZONTAL LINES on TV, I called LG service center, a technician came to my house and inspected, he said someone hit the screen, no free service and will charge at US$900.00, so, I personally guaranteed no any body touched it, it still keep it in my house.

On July 18, 2019, me and my wife back to Los Angeles from Taiwan, we had another LG TV in my house in Taiwan, 65UH615T-DB, serial number 610QIUY02318, it was purchase on July 27, 2017, the TV also unplugged, today it was plugged, same situation as the TV we had in United State, it came with a lots of HORIZONTAL LINES on TV. I love LG TV, now I am very disappointed with it QUALITY!

Finally the quality of LG TV very poor, once it unplugged for SEVERAL MONTHS, it will comes with HORIZONTAL LINES on TV, POOR, POOR QUALITY

LG Electronics lg dishwasher

My dishwasher stopped working 1yr and 6mo after purchased. I called LG today and they want in advance $125.00us just for the technician to show up. Parts and labor will be added to that amount based on his or her fidings. I have been using LG washer and dryer for at least 5yrs and never had an issue. May be it is time for me to stopped buying LG products.

I bought L G TV in July 2018...and next year
on September 2019 something was wrong ...I saw some white lines on the screen and the next few days the lines got more and more... after three days I couldn't see any thing in the TV because it's full of lines
I went to LG agent to check this problem supporting my issue with garantee document ...but unfortunately my problem didn't solve ...so am writing this now asking for help

As with most manufacturers, LG backs their products with a one year-limited warranty. Based upon your own dates, that places you outside the manufacturer's warranty period. Some retailers, however, offer their own warranty coverage. Contact your retailer to find out if you are covered.

LG Electronics lg cooktop model lce3010sb

We purchased this cooktop the end of september and it
was delivered to us around the middle of october. The cooktop
does not work -- we called for service and someone came out
on friday dec 20 and replaced the main board on the cooktop
after that was installed it still did not work. The technician
said that he would order a new touch pad. While he was at my
house he ordered the part number that was listed for this
touch pad for the above mentioned cooktop. The part was
delivered on saturday and the technician came on monday,
dec 23 19 and the part which was listed and ordered was not
correct. The technician called and explained the situation
about the incorrect listing on the part for my cooktop and he
was told that the situation was in parts research. It is now the
day before christmas eve and i have 12 people coming to my house
and i have no way to cook and have not been able to cook
for over one week. I also have people coming to my house xmas
day and no way to cook. My husband is a contractor and we
do alot of kitchen remodels and have bought many lg
appliances or have told our customers to purchase them. We
are very, very disappointed in this matter. It is not our fault
that the part was listed incorrect and does not match our
cooktop. There are now two major parts on this cooktop
that have needed to be replaced and lg can't get the proper
part for the touch pad and it has to go to parts search.
I have been given a case number and was told that they would
send the situation to the executive end who has final say on
this situation.
Be taken away by lg and a new one delivered. We have been
more than understanding with two service calls and still
no working cooktop. I have no problem with the technican
who came to my house at all. I have a problem with lg
not caring for their customer's at the holiday
season.

LG Electronics 30" french door refrigerator model #lfcs22520s

I called 1-800 customer service line about the pullout drawer in the freezer compartment. The drawer only comes out part of the way so
you cannot see to the back of the drawer but even more annoying is
that the ice bucket cannot be removed because the front of this drawer
is about 1/4" inch too tall. And there is a double stop. In order to get the ice bucket out or to see the back of the drawer I have to use both hands,
lift the drawer over the stop to bring it forward and back over so the unit will close. Customer service said this is a "feature" of this unit. Really? What were the engineers thinking? Do you have a replacement unit without the double stop? Went to Home Depot to examine the other LG models and all of
them pull in and out without a problem. Or how about an ice bucket that
is not so tall? That would be a help. Purchased 11-18-19

LG Electronics refrigerator

We bought a Reridgerator from you about 3.5 years ago. close to $3K. At thanksgiving it was not working correctly. We called and were told it as under warranty they would get someone out same day or close. It ended being 10 days. We lost food. the tech from you warranty company came out and said this had history of bad compressor and replaced it. but said he wanted to replace a few other parts just in case but they had to be ordered and delivered to us. he said he be back in a few days. appointment was scheduled 2 weeks a later.! so another day off work. they contacted us a week later to confirm our apt for friday dec 20th 8-5! so means i had to take another full day off work. on thursday the 19th we called to see if they would narrow it down they would not but confirmed our apt. this morning they texted and cancelled our apt. ! after going back and forth with LG and warranty work people sounds like their technician quit. they were unwilling to send someone else even if they had to drive. we were told it would be rescheduled for 3 more weeks on jan 14th. keep in mind this is our only refridgerator and works partly. they were unwilling to move otehrs to fit us in. i hate that that would happen to someone but we have waited almost a month and not 3 more weeks. if this is the type of Service i can expect from LG then this will be last product of any kind i buy from your company. the warranty means nothing. on top of that our door is peeling. we only use warm water or maybe windex. the tech told us that LG will replace it we called and were basicly laughed at. i honestly do not expect anyone to contact us to make this right. in this day and age no one cares about customer service.
this is under my wife Traci Smith. her cell should pull up all our records and issues. [protected].
i am asking that someone look into this today and get someone out here next week to finish this job.

c) Contacting service center through out let did not solve the issue
d) Several mails send and no reply,
e) I need proper service report to claim this amount from electricity board.
f) Abans service is not professional and even management is not taking any interest
g) If your service center can not write proper service report what we can expect from you.

LG Electronics lg f4j6tnp8s 8kg washing machine

We bought LG F4J6TNP8S 8kg washing machine in August 1, 2017 with 1 year manufacturer warranty and paid 275 aed extended warranty to Carefour. 2 months back we started to have issue with washing timing . Instead of 36 min it was washing 3/4 hours and instead of 1, 15 min it was washing 4-5 hours. We called to UAE LG service center 80054 and was sent Technitian Mr. Ali to fix it. He arrived and fixed something and informed if anything to contact them. So we washed the laundry and delay was 10-15 min which was communicated to him, after few weeks the problem was back and in addition to that the machine stopped spinning the laundry, in addition it started to give UE message. I texted to Mr. Ali in December 5, 2019 and he asked to register with 80054 again, which was promptly done. Mr. Ali arrived in December 7, 2019, checked the machine and said it the supervisor informed it can be taken to workshop after Carefour Approval. We got approval of carefour and washing machine was taken on December 10, 2019 and we were promised it would be delivered within 3/4 working days. We called to Mr. Ali many times and he said he is going to call his supervisor and it never happened . We called to customer service and they promised the service center would call us back which never happened. They told us to follow up with them through what's app, no results . On December 16, 2019 LG customer service and Al Yousef company mentioned that they didn't get approval from Carefour which was represented but AIG insurance company. We called to AIG and according to them they received email on December 15, 2019 when we filed complaint and according to their records the motor of the washing machine was changed when machine was faulty first time, however first time when Technitian Mr. Ali arrived he just opened machine and fixed the timer and second time when they took the machine to the service center nothing was done as they were waiting for the approval . In one word - according to AIG records the motor was changed and in fact there was nothing done. And according to AIG they received complaint on December 15, 2019 and they replied back that if the motor was changed once (which never happened) why do they need to change again. Today is December 17, 2019 and we still didn't receive our washing machine back

I purchased this front load washer on August 24 2019, I've had nothing but problems with it and today is 12/16/2019. I paid too much money for this washer and have spent multiple times at the laundromat more these past couple of months than my entire life . And now I must wait more because of a lie told by the technician that it was fixed. Who does that All I want is a machine that works but instead I'm forced to go again to the laundromat

I'd like to help out. L.G. really does have a great support system, but it must be utilized at it was intended.

Unfortunately, you've failed to list the exact model and what has been attempted to fix the issue(s). Depending on this initial step, you should be able to contact the retailer you purchased the item through and conduct an exchange.

My name is Marla Esty, with claim number [protected]. I purchased a 55" LG TV about 2 years ago for a Christmas gift. Because the TV had a damaged screen, a LG representative came to my home to repair and set up the TV. On Saturday, Nov 16, the legs on the TV broke and it feel off the top of the wooden entertainment center. It fell on my 15 year old dog and broke the TV to the extent that the screen is cracked. I called LG that day. I took pictures and sent to LG as requested. On Wed Nov 27, I received an email saying someone would be at my home on Thanksgiving Day. I left a message to state I would not be home, but to please call for another schedule time. I called everyday for a week, with no answer, leaving a message every day and no one every called. I called LG add they had Tim Shin email. he asked for pictures of the broken legs, but I have never heard more from him. I called LG on Dec 4 and they were to have someone call me about repair or replacement. I have still never heard from anyone. The TV worked fine until the legs broke and it fell. It is my believe that the plastic legs are just not strong enough to continually support the weight of that big TV. Are you going to contact me about the TV?

Unfortunately, physical damage such as broken leg(s) or a cracked panel are not covered by L.G. warranty services. Depending on the model of this television, the value may start out as inexpensive as $350 and not likely worth you paying to have the current one serviced.

LG Electronics lg refrigerator

I called LG over 2 months ago because my less than 2 year old refrigerator stopped running...it ended up being one of the compressors which is a common theme with LG it sounds with reviews online. when I bought the refridgerator it was great and ran very very quiet which we looked for in the purchase because my house is small and the kitchen is right by the great room. we purchased the LG dishwasher which is also no noise when running and a new LG stove. after the compressor was fixed and since the fridge has been running very loud...no matter what cycle you hear it in any part of our home when its running. the tech who fixed the compressor has been out two times stating we have to deal and accept or work with LG to resolve. my call on 11/27/19 I thought we were getting somewhere because Steven told me LG was calling for reports from tech and that this would be escalated up to another department to get back with me within 2 business days to give me options. Well as of today no call and no resolution...I call back and get Zen which is now sending another tech to the house to look at fridge to fix and she stated if noise is normal to LG nothing will be done...this is unacceptable...we spent well over 2000 for the refridgerator and now after only 2 years old we have to accept a loud running unit because of an issue LG had with compressors. if this fridge ran like this when I bought it the unit would have been returned in the 30 day time frame I had. if this is normal running then I can't imagine sells would be or are good for these units. it would be nice other than the day to day reps to call me to discuss how LG can fix this. I should not have to accept a very loud running unit due to the faulty part of LG.

LG Electronics led service

I complained sequentialy four times over ten days but nobody respond from repair team and one came with lots of efforts, took money without repairing the product. Worst serive in electronics, i have ever seen. It is better to repair outside without such high cost and incompetent engineers. LG has very bad services comparative to other companies in market.

LG Electronics washer

I've had my LG Front Load Washing machine model WM3670HWA since August 2018. I absolutely hate it. It's been ruining my clothes. It looks like bleach stains! I don't even use bleach! I've had to throw away numerous clothes and towels! I understand the newer models of washers have the eco which produces a lot less water instead of the older models which fill the tub. I also know that using too much detergent can cause the spots. I barely use any because of this and do use the HE Tide as notied in the manual. My clothes don't smell like it was just washed (they smell like nothing), and I'm even afraid to wash at this point. I as well This has been going on for at least 6 months in which I should of notified you sooner. I do have to leave the door wide open to avoid the smell. I do use the affresh for Tub Clean as well as it says in the manual. Speaking of manual, I've read it a dozen times seeing if I'm doing something wrong, and I'm not. I even use the water plus and extra rinse but still horrible results. I also clean the drain pump filter and all that is recommended in the manual. Having someone come out is useless . I know of 2 other people that are having the same issue and have had someone come and nothing with no results. At this point I have to buy a new washer and I will not be purchasing an LG. I'm thoroughly upset about this and the fact I've spent $905 for a machine that is ruining my clothes! I am requesting that someone in Management respond to this. Thank you! LG Electronics soundbar

I bought LG model s j a y for soundbar with subwoofer, after about a week the subwoofer wouldn't power up when I plugged it in so I took it back to the store that I got because it was less than it was only a week later then I had it for 2 weeks that's the one that I returned and got back I had worked for 2 weeks then the same thing happened subwoofer went out so we kept calling and they said don't take it back to the store we will fixing better and everything so just send it in and we'll send you do you say packaging and postage for FedEx and they got my package approximately two and a half weeks ago approximately the 31st of October probably before that like the 28th but anyways I keep calling the person that the credit card be used to buy a cat calling and they lied to us give us a fake tracking numbers, and the runaround first it was will have it back to you in a week so I called after 10 days and they had said that I just got in the warehouse they received it a week ago but we just got in the warehouse and we're overbooked but why would she was in 15 days for sure so 15 days gets here I call him up they won't let me speak to the management or the supervisors and finally get a hold of one I called back I finally got older but wiser and you wouldn't give me his name and anyways they still have after 20 something days they have my soundbar and they couldn't even fix that is it good to order parts in a warehouse where they make the items now if you tell somebody that you're going to have it back in a week you don't deliver and then 10 days and don't deliver and two weeks and so on and just a little add on to the story I called him multiple times for packaging and postage to send it and it took them about six weeks to get that to me so I was actually I'm still out of my soundbar that spent $200 on and their warehouse and I just keep getting the runaround about how it's in this department or waiting for a part UTC they have the complaint under neuter a phone number along with that number I don't and I don't know but if you give your company is giving out fake tracking numbers telling people can send to and it hasn't went through sent a week ago hasn't been sent if I was you I would never in a lifetime buy a package or a appliance from this company only because of the customer service I didn't even expect this not when they told me over the phone and be back in a week stay away if you're not already invested in them

having bought a tv from argos 5 months ago it started to have flashing screen so i took it back to argos who said to contact LG thay then sent an email asking for photos and video of every angle of the tv taking the photos with my phone at the lowest settings these photos were to larg to email even though it said sent after 3 days i had no reply so emailed again to be told thay had not recived the email once again i sent each photo again plus video to be told the angle of the tv switched on was not the correct angle it was a VIDEO NOT A PHOTO! once again i have sent another email with just the video it hase now been over a week trying to get LG to collect the tv for repair under the warenty i have asked for a program to make video or photos smaller and what format LG need to be able to see it in no reply if this happend to any one older or with less tec know how thay would have given up i personaly have never had such poor service from any company before as i am with out my second tv i am going to have to pay out to buy another make and report LG to trading standerds £119 may not be a lot to you but it is a loss to me the person on the phone was realy nice but had no way to contact the email side or the repair side of your company

LG Electronics dishwasher

Dishwasher was running but noticed bad smell, 11/03/2019. Turned it off, and our rack is rusting by the way as well. Purchased April 2014. Ended taking panel off pretty easy to do and noticed that same burnt wires on control board, as many others have complained. Obviously LG knows this is an issue, there are way too many ones that are doing the same thing. Mine specifically is an LG direct drive LDS5540ST. I guess my main issue, aside from the fact that it is a faulty product, is that it is dangerous. A fire can happen, and someone in worst case scenario could die. I expect nothing to be done, but will share my complaint.
