LG Electronics warranty on air continue

Model# LW6017R, Serial # 810TABNDJ621, Case# CNN190916973084.

LG has failed to honor warranty. Product stopped working after almost five months. LG keeps adding more requirements; such as, upload serial number and model number (done) mail in serial number and model number (done) upload copy of receipt (done) upload copy of receipt with serial number on it. (Purchased on Amazon - didn't have one) Upload copy of receipt showing A/C was brand new. (Look at purchase price - duh! $202.24 receipt submitted- didn't "say" new but was purchased new). Shipping address is different from billing address, we need to know why. ( I purchased unit for my SISTER, who incidentally has cancer and had yet another surgery) We need to know the relationship of the person you got the unit for. ( LG reps are real bright folks. See above answer. Incidentally NO YOU DON'T!). Why was unit shipped to a different address? ( just address the warranty please)

LG has thoroughly upset me yet again.

LG Electronics lg 49uf850v tv

LG Smart TV broken down twice.
I bought an LG Smart TV in Portugal for €900 (on sale). Because our house construction was delayed, the TV remained with the retailer for about 10 months. Around 7 months after taking delivery, the main board had to be replaced - it was covered under the warranty. Now the wifi and fixed internet do not work intermittently. LG took away the TV and I had no idea what is going on. Then about a week later I get the quote. €366 (plus I assume the original €43.05) to replace the main board again - the third board. And an LG supervisor has confirmed that if the board goes down again after 2 years I would have to pay again. Incidentally, I have a Samsung that still works perfectly after 10 years.

LG Electronics lg french door refrigerator bottom freezer

Bought the product eight years ago. After eight years system developed a leak. All refrigerant gone. Not cost feasible to fix it. I was sold this unit on the premises that with it's axial flow compressor, this machine will last a long time. That wasn't the case. In my experience LG refrigerators are junk. I'll never buy another one again. And I"ll be sure to share my experience with all my family and friends...

LG Electronics refrigerator/ customer service

The biggest mistake I have ever made was buying all new LG appliances after a power surge destroyed all of my old appliances. My 5 year old refridgerator has failed. The compreesor and computer board are bad. Your cusomer service and repair department are horrible and i am telling everyone I know NOT to by anything LG makes. I am also going to contact Home Depot and advise them not to carry your products anymore. I am totally disgusted and will make it my mission to tell as many people as possible what poor quality products you make and how horrible your customer service is. I wish I could afford to trash all 6 of my LG appliances to save myself the aggravation of dealing with your company in the future.

Ice maker: Ice not dropping in ice bin on a LF31925ST (2001refrigerator . The problem is that it will dispense water into the ice tray, chilled and rotates 10 degrees and stops. It seems like it is stuck but it's not... When I press "Test" mode button it would rotate fully around and drops the ice with no issues. The cycle repeats itself until "Test" mode button is pressed for the ice to drop. I took the ice maker apart and checked for anything out of the ordinary, nothing was found. Any fix on this issue or I need to buy a ice maker.

Mainly customer service. NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy an LG refrigerator or truly any LG product. WORST WORST WORST customer service. My mother was told she had until a certain hour to cancel her service appointment and no one answered a phone to cancel so they refuse to refund $125 service fee. WHO the heck does that? Kept saying you cancelled same day so no refund. Kept telling the first gal and then her supervisor we tried the night before as told to us we could You all never answered a phone. Someone should have answered he says. Wow, you hire only the best there. Of course someone should have answered but didn't for nearly an hour. Then, it finally rang and poof, you are closed and it hung up on us. ZERO customer service. Sorry, we won't refund. Ok, here is the first slam against them. Mom spent a lot of money and its to bad she did. The ice maker freezes due to its design. Beware

LG Electronics disingenuous customer appreciation!!

I have been going in circles for almost 2 weeks attempting to remedy a "burn in" issue of a LG OLED65C7P TV of which the LG OLED specialist acknowledges the damage by viewing photos I submitted. I only had the unit less than 15 months (the damage was becoming visible at about 10 months) and I did not have abusive viewing patterns other than watching a couple news programs on a daily basis for 2-3 hours. I have since resorted to watching news programs on my IPad to prevent further damage.
Last Saturday I was told by a LG telephone support individual that a service technician (a name was given) would be contacting me in 3-5 business days to schedule replacement of my screen at no cost to me. After not receiving a call I contacted LG again (3rd call and several emails) only to be told, that was incorrect and they need a digital copy of my purchase receipt before presenting my options. I sent it and the OLED specialist tells me (in summary) they would not cover repairs due to my inquiry being beyond 12 months and that the EBay vendor was not an authorized LG dealer. Simply because they sold product on Ebay.

Well, in fact the vendor, World Wide Stereo.com IS a major authorized LG dealer in the northeast and I was hoping LG would be a bit more accepting being it had only been 15 months. In summary, I can't believe I spent $2200 for unit that was fault free for 10 months. In reality, I paid $220 a month for the use of a OLED television! If I had known I was experiencing a permanent burn-in issue at 10 months I would have reported it. I thought it was a temporary image issue and would eventually remedy itself.

This was my first and last LG product. Being I am now retired and on a limited income, I can't afford to have it repaired or replaced. Simple enough...buyer beware!

Appreciate hearing your concerns.

There are three (3) requirements to allow a product to be processed under warranty: First, the product much be purchased from an authorized retailer. WorldWide Stereo, as you've stated, is an authorized reseller of certain LG products. Second, it must be sold is such a way which is within compliance to a manufacturer's guidelines. This is there to protect the consumer against damaged or non-disclosed issues with a particular unit. eBay is not an authorized venue for selling such products. Third and finally, the product must fall within the time-frame of warranty. The manufacturer's warranty guidelines are twelve (12) months.

Whereas you have not fallen into two of the three requirements for your product to be serviced under warranty, you may still choose to have the product serviced but covered under your own expense. You also have the option of contacting the reseller to see if there was any additional warranty coverage given or purchased with the television.

Without question, OLED is the best technology on the market for television viewing. Anything else is simply a disappointment. We're sure that if you choose to not have your current product corrected, you'll want to replace it with a current model.

LG Electronics refrigerator, model lfxs30766s

I purchased subject refrigerator in 2017 because it appeared to have features I wanted in a new refrigerator. The refrigerator has the following problems:

1: The plastic door located on right had exterior door which is made to open with push pressure kept flying open every time I opened the main refrigerator door. A workman came out and replaced the door, but it still flies open.

2. The air filter cover, which is supposed to come off easily with a twisting motion will not budge. I have tried multiple models in a variety of stores just to make sure I am doing the right motion and they all come off easily and without any effort. I have spent much more time than is warranted and, no matter what I do, the cover will not come off - it is as if it is glued on. Your illustrious customer service people have offered lots of crazy recommendations, from lightly tapping the bottom, to using a knife to pry it off, to using dental floss around the edges. Needless to say, the cover has not budged and your useless electronics keep giving me an annoying alert to change the filter, which I cannot do.

3. The electronic panel on outside of door is very unresponsive, especially the ice cube selector I have to hit the buttons at least 15 to 20 times before they respond when I want to change from cubes to crushed.

4. Last year the refrigerator started making loud noises (it was under warranty at the time). I was told to empty the refrigerator and let it defrost completely and then to refill. Do you know what happens to food when you remove it from refrigerator long enough to defrost? The food spoils and gets ruined!

He then told me he was going to email me some direction to make some sort of change to keep refreigerator from doing whatever it was doing. However, he never sent them.

A second call to your customer service got me a person who promised they would send a technician out to check the problem with noise, as well as the immobile filter cover. Again, I never received even the courtesy of a response to tell me they were not coming.

In the meantime, there is obviously something wrong with the system. All the food in my freezer constantly is covered with frost and never defrosts. It does not turn to ice, but just a thin layer of frost which tells me the food is defrosting and then refreezing, which is actually dangerous because that is when bacteria can form.

Your refrigerator is the biggest piece of junk and I will never buy another LG product. I will also never pay a technician to come check it, which is what your group "offered" me as a solution. I will just use the piece of junk until it either falls apart (which I expect it to do in a year or two) or I sell my house and leave it to the unsuspecting new homeowners.

I really appreciate that when you do a search for LG, the primary link is to your beautiful, modern office campus. It is so nice that you put precedence on your offices and image before the satisfaction of your customers! I anticipate it will come back to haunt you because if you keep selling inferior products without acceptable customer support to correct issues, you will soon run out of customers and - I'm sorry - but your beautiful offices and campuses will no longer be of any use to you because you won't have the funds to maintain them.

Go back to Korea, where people obviously accept inferior product.

LG Electronics refrigerator

My refrigerator has stopped working after 10 months of owning it. The customer service rep lied to me, I took off work because I was told someone would come to my house and they never showed up. I now have to wait 2 weeks for a product to ship, even though they didn't come to see what's actually wrong with my fridge. I have a family to feed, and now have to buy a fridge to hold food while this company orders parts with no urgency. The worst experience I've been through. Hundreds of dollars worth of food ruined and now hundreds of dollars spent buying a new fridge and food. Worst company ever.

LG Electronics misconduct and cheating by lg technician

I am a customer and user of LG products. I believe in the high quality of LG products. On 30th September 2019 I called LG Malaysia Customer Service operated by the above named company. I had an issue with my LG front-load washing Model F2514DTGE Serial No: 604KWXD20922 that I purchased on 15 October 2016. The machine would not operate even the power is on. Earlier, I checked with the LG phone app SmartThinQ and the machine was diagnosed to be working fine. But somehow the machine would not operate. Two LG technicians came to my house on 2 November 2019. After a couple of minutes looking at the machine, an LG technician who is called Roy told me that the water-pump part need to be replaced. I asked him how could he knew that the part need to be replaced by just looking at the machine. He answered that he had been doing the job for years. Surprisingly he already brought a new water-pump part with him. When I asked him how much will it costs me, he told me that the new part costs RM280 and on top of that I have to pay RM100 for labour charge. I told him not to replace the water pump part yet as I wanted to confirm the warranty and whole cost with LG Customer Service first. Roy told me even if I would not have the part replaced, I have to pay RM100 labour charge to him. He told me that RM100 is the minimum labour charge. Of course, I refused to pay without re-confirmation from the LG Customer Service. We argued and eventually they left. I then contacted LG Customer Service through another channel by its listed whatsapp number. It took them a few days to finally told me that I have to pay only RM280 inclusive of labour charge to replace the water-pump part. The same Roy the technician came again alone on 8 October 2019 and replaced the water-pump part. But even after he replaced the part with a new one, the machine still would not operate properly. He then made a thorough checking on the out-going water hose and found out that it was stuffed and clogged with socks. I am writing this complaint to you since I could have been over-charged by the LG technicians and extortion of labour charge. I also think that the water pump part might not need to be replaced in the first place if the real issue of clogged hose had been properly identified. I suspect that many customers had faced or could have faced similar issue. I also would like you to investigate if LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd conspires with its technicians to falsely sell more parts and impose over-charging on labour charge to LG's customers.

LG Electronics lg tone infinim hbs-900 wireless stereo headset (silver)

Gentlemen/Madam
I am a female, age 77, born 7-27-1942 therefore very careful on how I spend my limited funds. As such, I am very careful how I handle items like the failed headset.
On March 6, 2018 I purchased the above listed LG product from Amazon.com, order # [protected].
I totally enjoyed the headset as it allowed my to better hear and understand conversation on the telephone.
In August, 2019 the headset quit working. First one side and then the other shortly there after. This was very distressing as I depended upon the headset when talking on the telephone.
The return policy was only one month from date of purchase so I have no recourse but to appeal to you for a replacement. The failed unit looks new and is in the original box should you request to inspect it. I will be happy to ship it to you.

LG Electronics replacement arrangement

I purchase a LED TV on 25 July. 2019, delivery on 29 July. 2019, and found the LED panel display issue, call for CS to arrange an on site testing, and finally the engineer report the TV had technical issue, and will give me a band new TV replacement.

Service invoice date is 9 Aug 2019, but till now, 2 Oct 2019, CS keep replay me they didn't have any stock can replace, I had watch a broken TV over 2 months, and that is a 2019 model, 49UM7400P, how come a new model will out of stock over 2 months.

I'm very disappointed and angry for LG Hong Kong, I would no longer to wait for the replacement, i need a refund right now, and buy another band, at least i can watch a fully function 4K LED TV.

I purchased Ref. LS344DBGL invoice 758164 dated on 21-10-17 and I was on travel so I sent Cargo company to take it from store of LG and then cargo to EGYPT and I didn't open because of travelling and when I opened I found different Model LS292JDHVL after review Cargo invoice no. 1018 is the same as taken from LG store written on REF. cover, so it is mistake from LG store.
Really I am disappointed and loosing many because I fabricate the kitchen based on LS344 dimension not LS292 .
Kindly correct this mistake from LG store as suppose to be onset and appear in inventory and I need LS344DBGL as I purchased and paid.

I ordered this product on 9/16 and when I recieved this product it was damaged. One of the ear pieces was busted off. I tried to find out how to contact someone through a phone number with no luck. LG Electronics lg electronics slide in range

I purchased 4 LG appliances in July, 2018 for our new home after recently retiring to the Hilton Head area in South Carolina. I was very happy with the appliances and how they enhanced the look of our new Kitchen. Unfortunately, on the range stove top the rubber seal began to chip away. Beginning at the end of June, 2019, I contacted LG service and they had a serviceman come out to see the range. He took some pictures and spoke with an LG where it was then determined that it would not be covered under the warranty. Something was mentioned that it may be a result of cleaners, etc. I explained that it is only my husband and I and the service person could certain see that we take exceptional care with our cleaning and appearance of our home. I asked if I could appeal and was then connected to supervisor "Daniel" and sent him pictures where he then approved the replacement of my glass top due to the seal being damaged. The reference # CNN190628498737. Daniel said that a LG service person would be in touch with me. After a few weeks when I did not hear from anyone, I contacted LG service again and now was told that the repair was now being denied. I explained that it was approved by Daniel which apparently this could be seen in the notes. I'm very unhappy that I was told it would be repaired then now being told it will not be. I have a beautiful new home which is what we purchased to retire in. We have many visitors that now see the range with the seal gashes and this does not give a good impression of the LG product. I would ask that this be reviewed again and I would like to know why it was approved by supervisor Daniel than denied by someone else yet I was never told.

LG Electronics 65" lg flat screen televisions tv legs

The plastic TV legs that comes with 65" LG flat screens are not durable enough to support that size TV. I know from experience. I have a busted 65" LG flat screen that was laying on my floor when I came home from work. I live alone. The entertainment center it was on is a 72" wood entertainment center. My heart was just as broken as the TV.

LG Electronics lg refrigerator

I bought an LG Refrigerator 7 years ago. Last night, we came home to a flooded kitchen. Our ice melted, all of our freezer contents were melting, our food was bad. Every company I call tells me LG is a bad product. I'm lucky it lasted this long. I was also laughed at for buying it. Or sympathized with. One repairman agreed to come out and told us its the compressor. If it is such common knowledge that LG is picking the pockets of Americans, why are they still allowed to sell refrigerators!?

LG Electronics lg refrigerator

I bought an LG refrigerator in 2014. In 2018 the unit needed a complete makeover. New compressor, motor etc. now the unit is not working at all and was told it would be very expensive to repair! I bought it from Best Buy in Oswego, Illinois. Geek Squad came out about six times! This year Geek Squad refereed me to an outside repair shop. All American Appliance. 630-901-2415. Lost all my food two years in a row! Very unhappy!

Purchased at The Home Depot 9/21/2016 $3, 349.00 plus tax.
In less than 3 years, this refrigerator has had THREE Internal Sealed System Failures and required repair. Each year, in the summer months, the refrigerator broke and was non operational for almost a month while waiting for LG to approve repairs and waiting on parts to arrive.

In less than 3 years this refrigerator has had three major internal sealed system failures - which means this unit is a manufacturer defect! For each repair I contacted LG Customer Service and made a report. All records should be on file.

I am requesting either a full refund or a replaced unit.

LG Electronics portable dvd writer sp80

I was given an LG portable DVD writer model #SP80 for Christmas. This was intended to use with my mac, which does not have an internal cdrom.
The exterior packaging AND the interior packaging both state "COMPATIBLE WITH MAC OS". But, it is not. The disc will not load any setup as outlined in the instructions. After much frustration I called LG customer support. The rather rude woman with an accent too thick to understand about 80% of the time kept insisting that what I want is software for my LG Blu-ray player. I explained to her no less than five times that what I need is software to set up my PORTABLE LG DVD WRITER, MODEL SP80.
Still, I was directed after 40 minutes to an email that linked me to free mac os software to run a DVD or Blu-ray. I do not think the tech had a clue what a dvd writer is, much less what to do when the installation cd that comes with it marked "COMPATIBLE WITH MAC OS", isn't.
It's infuriating to buy a product based on lies and deception, especially when you can't return it to the merchant anymore. I need to figure out how I can install software for this model dvd writer on my MAC as advertised, or I need to find out how to receive a full refund despite the open box. Thanks,

LG Electronics air conditioner dual inverter 1.5 horse

I bought Air conditioner dual inverter 1.5 horse, in 1st of july 2019.

I have issues with it since day one, first the voice was very loud, few days later they came and fix it. And mentioned that the voice was from the quill.

Few days later there was a water leakage in the external unit, the guy from the company came again and he said this issue is from the installation and one who install the air conditioner didn't isolate the tubes correctly.

They fix this issue but yet it wasn't the last one, the voice appeared again, they came again and now the internal unit was not installed correctly, and it need to be moved a few centimeter down. And they put some cream ( Literally my wife cream) in some part in the internal unit to fix the sound issue.

The air conditioner should be fine now right, no sir.

Water leakage but now from the internal unit, the guy from the company said that, there's some part we need to change called (the coil) and i will order it and will come to replace it after few days.

But i refused and i told him no i will not fix it again, and i need a new one or i need my money back.

No one from the company called me till now, and am not able to use the air conditioner in this hot weather in egypt.
