I bought a 2001 mercedes Benz c240 for 2000$ and the seller never smoged the car the day after I boght it the belt broke and broke the radiator so I had to pay 300$ to get that fixed. I notified the seller that she did not do a proper sell because she never smoged the car buy law the seller has to smog the car before selling it. On top of all that now the car whont go out of secound gear. So I should have the right to my money back

Be on the lookout for a guy named Mike, he also goes by William, or Brian. He has created multiple accounts by different names but everything is always the same. He posts similar profile pictures of him and his wife and 2 kids. He sells game systems for ridiculously low prices. He has no reviews and his account disappears the second he scans someone new. He will sell switches with 10 games for 180 dollars. Graded pokemon cards, usually charizard. Ps4 with games and controllers for 190. Always the same stuff. He changes his location so he can scam anywhere. Has had an account in Atlanta, New York, Texas, Arizona, and more. I always catch his new accounts but he refuses to refund my money. Bewar.

I was looking for a house to rent so, I look at this "William house for rent", he contact me via email and stated he live in new york, his mother was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer Lymphoma, and Rental Price: $900 per month and security Deposit is 900$ (Security Deposit is Refundable) Utilities included in monthly rent. 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom, Address;8440 Brookfield Drive, Riverside, CA, USA 92509.

Them he ask me "If you are ask to make a down payment to secure the house and take it off market today, How much will you be able to pay?".

It was to good to be true so, I went to the house and I spook to the neighbours next house and they told that this guy is not the owner and is scamming people online. and they help to contact the real owner with apologize for that inconvenience and will show me the house this week.

Just today I had 2 sales going through and now I cant get any emails or up dates if they are coming to buy what I am selling, you guys just [censored]ed me, and I cant see if they are coming to buy my stuff but also I cant comunicate with them when they might be at my house so! I was looking to buy an iPhone XS Max and I came across this person selling the phone for $600. I inquired him about it and he said that I had to pay him through Apple Pay and since he was working at the apple store in Rancho Cucamonga he had to order it and I could come pick it up to the store when ready. I paid him using Apple Pay and he gave me the address of the store and the time to come pick it up. He sent me his phone number and to text him when I came into the store so he can help me out and give me the phone. I text him when I was there and he had me waiting saying that his boss was there and he couldn't help me out to give him some time. He had me waiting at least an hour outside then told me to come another day because he was not going to be able to give me the phone. I told him that I didn't want any trouble just to return me the Money if he couldn't do it and he replied saying that he would return it using Apple Pay during his lunch. It's already been a week that he just keeps telling tomorrow for sure and never does it. Today he just stopped replying and marked the phone as sold on Letgo. What can I do about this issue?

I received some products after I paid in full and paid shipping. Some products were not authentic as was advertised. Some items did not match picture or description given.
I paid $440.00 for a fake Gucci purse that I was told was authentic Gucci. 2 other items I bought did not look like the picture it was sold as.

Seller would not converse with me as soon as I wanted a refund. She blocked me and will not take my messages or refund my money.

I want to make a formal complaint of fraud.

Put a 82 honda 185s 3 wheeler on letgo sold it to javonnie noticed that he's using my description of the 3wheeler an pictures an he's also reselling it for 500 dollars, javonnie bought it on Saturday 8th when u r looking for the 3wheeler have to put in 82 honda 185s 3wheeler an u will see the pictures of the 3wheeler at my garage an my description also I fixed an paid for all the parts listed, thanks for your help in this matter

I tried to buy a tent, originally priced at $50.00, but then reduced to $35.00, in Parkersburg, WV. (Sorry I don't have the seller's name; maybe Matt?)

Here's our conversation, over several days:

Me: I can take the bus from Grantsville on Thursday.
Him: I work on Thursday.
Me: Do you have a neighbor or family member who can give me the tent and take a postal money order?
Him: this is beginning to sound "fishy." First you said you had cash; now you're saying a money order.
Me: I wi;ll put cash in your hands only. I will give a money order to anyone else. Is there a time that will be convenient for you for me to pick it up? I'll have to see if I can find a ride.
Him: How about if I deliver it? I will charge for the delivery.
Me: That would be great! How much?
Him: $210, plus the $35 for the tent.
Me: No can do. Is there a time that would be convenient for you for me to pick it up?
Him: I'm busy. Forget it.

I bought a tent on eBay for less than $35. It's already been delivered. This has been my first experience with buying something on letgo, and it's been a bad one.

I would like to report a scammer. His name is Mikel from Charleston WV. The email he uses with paypal is jaceowencasto but it is under the name Brandon Harris. I bought a coin from him using paypal because he said he lived in Summersville WV instead of Charleston that his profile says. He said he would ship it but as soon the 25 dollars was not pending in paypal and received it he stopped responding to messages. Please block this seller so he can't scam anyone else. Thanks

On saturday 6/1/19 I put some items for sale on the app one of them being an ge electric dryer for $100.in good working condition. I was selling it because I put in a gas dryer recently so I had no use for the dryer I was selling. A lady named rosemarie reached out and offered me $80 for it and I agreed. Her and her husband came to pick it up and paid me $80. Yesterday she texted me through the app and said I sold her a faulty dryer and she would like her money back. I have not been able to sleep well because I am so upset. The ge dryer I sold her has no problems. It is a good working dryer. I really honestly do not know what the problem is... Can you please help me in this situation. I am very upset and I not sure what to do. I have not responded to her text. I really try to be an honest person.

Hi, this is not a complaint but suggestions to make your app even better.
I could not find any way on the app to give you guys feedback so that would be one good feature to add.
-when I go in to edit details of item or make any changes there seem to be no way of getting back to the original home screen that has the camera icon in the bottom middle of the page (the page that you can start a posting from). So I have to close the app and open it up again. An easy way to get back to the home screen would be great.
-a lot of times when I get a chat from a potential buyer the app makes no noise. and when it does make a noise it isn't really loud. a louder noise and making noise every time would be great because I miss quite a few chats from potential buyers who have then moved on because I relied to them too late.
-When I take pictures of items for sale I am sure to capture everything I want seen in the photo, however, when I go to post the photos they seem to be zoomed in, therefore not everything I want seen in the photos is shown. If the uploaded photos showed exactly the original photo this would be much better because I take a great deal of time making sure each photo highlights certain parts of the of item for sale.

I did and found the garden bunny. I asked about his pants because they didn't show in the picture. Then I realized they have 3 more pictures. When I discovered it, l went to reply "never mind", but I was blocked. Please help me.

So I found a guy on letgo who offered me an iphone x for 250 dollars, the guy made me do transfer by zelle he gave me his phone number and said his name is Michael, he promised he wasn't a scammer and that he could send it right away but as soon and I sent money he blocked me I tried calling the number but he wont pick up and I want my money back. User Samuel Gregor. has posted ad., to sell laptop(MacBook Pro) for 350, I've contacted the user through Letgo chat and I've sent 10$ to his account using Bofa Zelle with email "[protected]@gmail.com" and requested to sent laptop images, after that I've sent 260$ upon agreeing that he would send the laptop through courier. After sending 260$ he is not responding to my calls and messages.

I bought something from a user named Paul Bell (Pittsburgh, PA). He sold the right item for the right price. Next day he contacted us separately with an offer on something else. Since I already met the man and he seemed okay, I went ahead and paid him the money. But he never delivered the items. He blocked my phone. I have chat messages to prove that he offered and we agreed to meet him. Now I cannot contact him. His mobile number is (814) 591-6802. The address where I picked the first item is 2812 Breker St, Pittsburgh. Beware of that crook. He is a con man. I foolishly trusted him and now am poorer by $40 and loss of trust.

Do not make any deals with anyone named "johnson" or "matthew johnson" on letgo. Number is five seven one three two six twenty seven seven six. It is a scam. Will send you counterfeit checks hoping you deposit them and he gets the money before the check has time to clear. I'm prior military and tied to law enforcement, so i saw thru it immediately. Shame on you letgo. You better do a more thorough job of policing these criminals, or you mite get shutdown. Rich in delaware

I purchase a laptop computer from a person call Jesus Chinea for $300 back on August 2018
The guy claim he was selling it cause he got a new one from his job
I hardly use the computer so I gave it to my niece who leave in Venezuela
Everything was ok till last month she got a email alert from a company telling her that the computer was stolen from Miami and that
It was going to lock it and that it was reported to the MDPD
The company specialize in recovering stolen computers
I then got in contact with the contact with that company and they ask me to return the stolen computer to them or they will be sending the information to the police department
I agree to return the computer since my niece wouldn't be able to return to the US if there's a police case against her
I try to contact the seller but he got nasty on the phone he even treated me
I need to know how to proceed with this matter and how to get my money back

A merchant told me he'll unlock my phone for $30 and he even made a deal to give the first half then the second half after it's done but after I've transferred 15 into his cash app account to start working on my iPhone 8. He blocked me after an hour. I want my cash back, but I'm guessing I'm not the only one who's been scammed by one of these scums in let go, by the looks of the other numerous complaints. STEP IT UP! LET GO! Help us get our money back and put justice to its right place. I'm sorry for those who's been scammed I feel for you everyone!
