Leon's Furniture Life chair 19666 chocolate item code 701bb661

My husband and I purchased a life chair on November 26, 2021 because of medical reasons { my husband has Parkinson's Disease and has difficulty raising from a sitting position } and a spring in early January of this year. I contacted the service department for our area and was instructed to email pictures of the break and the information needed. I did so on January 17th. We heard nothing from the center so I contacted them on April 25 and was informed that the part would arrive that week. I heard nothing so I contacted the department again on May 17th. I was then informed that the part arrived however it was the wrong size therefore they'd have to order another one. I was then told that the right one was ordered and it was suppose to be send through the mail, priority post. I called today and I was told that the part won't arrive until mid June. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! As I mentioned before, this chair is a NECESSITY for my husband to function on a daily basis. If this matter can not be settled next week, at the latest, I am going to demand a new chair or a total refund of the purchase price. Awaiting your reply, Cathy Reid

Leon's Furniture Sofa set

I bought a leather sofa set in February 2022 and it's already losing it's shape and sagging. I called the service department and they were supposed to let me select a new set when they got more inventory. They then said they would only order parts to fix it. I wanted a full refund for poor quality furniture but they refused. I paid $4200 for a set that started looking years old after a month.

Leon's Furniture Rip, scratches,waited too long

I purchased love seat, chairs on March 18th. I told them I was doing renovation I will open them end of March and I when we opened we saw some scratches and small whole. I also purchased protection plan they called me and they said we can not do our service until you get them done. I called the store many times they gave me another phone number they did not help me out I waited almost a month and a half just yesterday called me I wanted to return the product because I was not happy with the service I purchased. They said I m sorry you purchased on May18th you can not do it. Seriously I got lots of stress to calling them and get help. At the end I decided to never ever go and buy something from Leon. I will go different stores but I got lots of stress . I called them too many times. They said out manager will call you but never. Yesterday they came to check the whole and scratches and they told me that they will come.back again until they fix it I can not use the protection plan what a headache.

Leon's Furniture Customer Service Issue

April 27, 2022- Phone call with Associates & Manager Christian at Leons Furniture Orangeville [protected]. 95 First St Building H, Orangeville, ON L9W 1G2

Phone call regarding delivery date cancellation less than 24 hours prior to scheduled time after already receiving confirmation via text message and email earlier that same day. Leons Orangeville called me to inform the cancelled delivery date after confirming the time/date that morning & 2 weeks prior. I was told they only deliver to my area on Fridays and that if that didn't work for me that was my problem or I had to cancel my order. No options or advice was giving for alternative solutions. Any compensation for delivery charges was immediately denied. They were unwilling to accept blame that their employee arranging the incorrect date to begin with. I felt I was rudely spoken down to over the phone, kept being interrupted and my concerns dismissed because "it wasn't their fault their employee didn't know what he was doing". Also, any follow up with this employee wasn't possible due to him no longer working for the store.

Due to the last minute delivery cancellation I am now left without furniture as I had previously arranged for old furniture to be removed from the home. This is extremely unprofessional and as a long time customer- I feel Leons Orangeville's customer service reflects poorly for the company.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and delivery compensation. I'd appreciate a response

Leon's Furniture Delivery guys damaged the tv they delivered to us, and not taking responsibility

April 9th of 2022, we got our television delivered by 2 delivery guys. My husband was there to take in the delivery, alongside we also had a couch delivered that same day at the same time. The delivery guys are told to take the tv out of the box and plug it in to make sure it turns on. Whilst doing this, they dropped the left side of the tv and the corner hit the ground, causing some framing damage. They tried to cover it up and make it seem like they didn't drop it. All the while, they put back the styrofoam on that corner to try and hide it, my husband didn't think much about it until after they left. He took the styrofoam off and checked for damages, and while dropping it, they damaged the bottom left side of the tv frame with a major crack.

Right after the damage happened, we left the tv and did not touch it. I emailed the service email and described the damage and what happened and mentioned for them to call us back.

Julie, the Customer Care Manager at Longueille Montreal called April 12 to tell us she was going to investigate this. This is when the terrible customer service happened. She neglected to call us back for another week, and during the week that she didn't call us back, we were told that she was either sick or on vacation. She could’ve just tossed this off to another associate to deal with it as it was something that needed to be dealt with. We couldn’t even use our tv knowing there was damage on it. Exactly a week later, my husband instead calls her himself because it didn't seem like she was going to call us back, all the while completely neglecting the situation and seemingly wanting to avoid dealing with this matter. When he called back, Julie mentioned that it was "impossible that the delivery guys dropped the tv" and that "it was our fault for not checking while they were there" pretty much putting the blame on us when it is clearly the responsibility of the delivery guys to own up to the fact they dropped our tv. Absolutely terrible customer service, and clearly there was not a need to help us solve the issue at hand. The delivery guys flat out lied about dropping the tv which is absolutely absurd.

He then tries to ask to speak to the manager, to which she denied him of that, pretty much saying that nothing would be fixed whether or not we would speak to a manager, seeming like she didn't want to get in trouble.

So, I, the wife, decide to call them the same day to get this resolved because it was clear that Julie was of no help to us. I called to ask to speak to her, and the receptionist mentioned to me that she was busy. I explicitly told her to call me back before the end of the day and Julie didn't. I had to call back an hour later to be told that Julie left, which further proves that Julie was just avoiding the situation. So when I called back, I asked for Pierre, the GM. I managed to speak with him, but the outcome was terrible. I explained to him the situation, and had to argue with him on what had happened, still being told that the damage was done by us when IT WAS CLEARLY THE DELIVERY GUYS THAT DROPPED IT. He told me that he would call me back in 4 days to let me know if theres anything that he could do, and he did today. 4 days later, today, he calls and tells me that theres nothing that can be done and that it was not the delivery guy's fault. Having to wait 4 days to be told that they can’t fix the issue is crazy. My husband clearly saw the delivery guys dropping the tv, and it’s evident that they were lying about not dropping the tv.

I asked Pierre for the photo that the delivery guy took of the tv before leaving and he told me he couldn't promise that he could give me the photo... it was clear that the photo showed the styrofoam still on the tv when the delivery guys took it, so how could they have seen the damage? They’re clearly hiding something and trying to avoid giving us a replacement or refund. It's literally impossible because its clear the delivery guys were trying to hide the damage. After requesting, I should be allowed to see the photo, so I can take Leon's to court for this as it’s clear that they damaged the tv. Leon’s makes so much money from scamming people because I’m clearly not the only one that this has happened to.

This whole experience is absolutely nuts. Also, on top of that, our delivery took 4-5 months to get to us. we waited for 4-5 months to have a damaged tv. I cannot believe this. Seriously, do not buy from Leon’s. They will rip you off your time, and will NEVER take responsibility for their actions. Their delivery guys are crooks and liars and they can't be trusted. I seriously do not recommend them. You’re better off going to brault & martineau or the brick. stay away from Leon’s.

Leon's Furniture Sectional sofa

We purchased a 9 piece sectional sofa in July of 2021. It is now April 7th and we have been mislead on arrival times throughout the whole process. Originally we were told we would receive it in August of 2021. Then November, then January, then February. In March we were told it is currently on a shipping container in the pacific, slated to arrive in Vancouver March 8th. When I called on March 9th to verify, I was told it did land in Vancouver and was slated to arrive in Toronto on March 28th pending the CN rail strike, (which didn't happen). When I had called today I was told it hasn't even arrived in Vancouver and is slated to arrive April 28th. I've spoken to the store manager, Debra Farrow and the service desk multiple times and have had different answers from each every time. While Debra did offer to call me when it arrived in Toronto, I did not receive phone calls stating that there are further delays from the date provided. We have been waiting to reno our living room dependent on this sofa. We've paid quite a bit of money for it. Other companies have similar product and aren't suffering year long delays, which I was told today that I'm not the only one, others have been waiting well over a year. As if that makes the situation better. I expect better customer service from a company like Leon's. I've purchased quite a bit from Leon's in the past. I certainly wont be making another purchase if this isn't made right.

Leon's Furniture Bed and mattress

We bought and paid for the bed and mattress in 2021 November and the guy who sold us the items told us it would take 1 month. It is now April 2022 and I have yet to receive the item, I went in today to ask about what is taking so long for the delay, and they weren’t able to provide me with any details, the staff are very unprofessional, they lie and sell to you and once made their sale they do not care about anything else.

Leon's Furniture Living room set

Hi there, we purchased new living room, dining room and appliances from LEONS brampton back in 2018. purchased extended warranty and had our couch replaced due to the back rest wearing thru. We decided to upgrade and put additional $ in for a different set back in 2020 hoping we'd have better luck. Now we find ourselves in the same situation. the back on our couch has worn thru and we've put another warranty call in to LEONS back in January 2021. We are still waiting for the piece despite asking the store management to keep us posted I continually call and chase you folks for an update. I was told by Jaun (manager) that the piece was finally in Canada back in Feb 2022 and would be a couple weeks. He then offered me a credit to help with the wait which was great however I spoke to Roland (General Manager) on March 28, 2022 and he advised he could not provide an update on the delivery but would be willing to replace the entire couch at this point, but again could not give us a date on delivery so I advised him that at this point I just want a refund as I can purchase a new set and have it delivered this week. I think you can agree that despite the pandemic, LEONS Brampton on Steeles Ave has completely let us down and the furniture has been garbage.

Desired outcome: I would like LEONS to come pick up our sofa and love seat and completely refund us and let us move on from this unbelievable scenario

Leon's Furniture Sectional Sofa

We purchased 6 piece sectional sofas (SKU:[protected])/Invoice 06191MIPVSM on 19 Jun'21 and were told the delivery will happen in Oct'21.

Till date the delivery has not been made although full payments was taken in advance.

Very unprofessional staff and Leon Management who are not aware when the goods will arrive. Multiple deadlines are missed and no ownership of Leon's and the team is full of excuses and lacks any information.

I will be officially filing complaint against Leon's with the "Ministry of Government and Consumer Services"

Desired outcome: I want delivery without further delay and Interest on my funds being used by Leon's.

Leon's Furniture Order not received

We placed an order in November 21. 2021Was advised it would be end of Dec to mid January. We received partial order March 17th.

Was told our whole order was in Dec 11 2021 went to pick it up. One item was in one of eight chairs we ordered. It was in a box that looked like it was from the garbage and inside the box the chair was there unprotected and no screws or bolts to assemble the chair.

So many times we have been given information that is untruthful.

How does the order get pushed back week after week. At least be honest with the ETA so we can respond accordingly. They refer us to our sales rep for which we have left several messages for and we don't get a response. They use the words... promise, not guaranteed, and very loosely. They reps have been taught to lie and turn the issue on the customer. We paid 50 percent down and were told in the beginning that we won't get our order because we have not paid in full. paying Leon's half of what we owe more then covers their cost to order the furniture. When I asked for the status of our order arrival the response is you won't get it you haven't paid. Not really the question I asked but I am sure that was the response they are trained to give.

Desired outcome: I want my furniture I ordered . Very quickly without being used or something that was returned

Leon's Furniture Recliner

I am a Senior female, 73 years old. Went to Leon's Miss.Nov.2021. Bought a recliner, it was in back order for a few months then cancelled. Visit Leon's Burlington 3 times. Most recliners were out of stock. I chose I push back as we can't managed side small bottoms or side handle re.artrithis. signed and paid wit CO. The chair was delivery Nov.16 at 8pm.sharp. unusual time, condos and apt.buildings delivery start at 9am.when front office open back door for drivers. No masks the box was open with wrong recliner. All efforts to correct the issue were received with hostility. Calvin Leon awful rude and patronized. When offer to return same day at our expense. He stated there would be a charged of $500.00,if exchange for other furniture the charged was $300.00. Aggressive and abusive manager. CC applied the customer protection guarantee. Calvin Leon lies to them, a picture of me In my living room seating on the recliner was sent to CO. unbelievable this person arrogance to instruct the driver to commit an illegal act. Driver in the picture. The ordeal was unlawful from the beginning. My home is my sanctuary. Your delivery men aren't honest people. There is the wrong Recliner cover in plastic never used. Wrong merchandise, verbal abuse, treated badly. A debt of $900.00 in the credit card. Calvin Leon lies to get His way. Seniors beware. Leon's Burlington is not a welcome honest place to shop.

Desired outcome: Pick up the recliner from our home. Give a full credit for furniture not choosing.

All complaints are from seniors, working people. Lyons annual revenue are in the 900 hundred dollars, yearly. They don't care about small people that ironically make their business. File a complaint with the HRC for discrimination against Seniors. No matter our educational background Manager's takes advantage of their position.

Leon's Furniture Promosed delivery date is now 2 months down the road

My wife and I purchased a 3 piece furniture set on Nov 6 '22 and was told 2-4 month's delivery time. It is now March 9 and we have been now informed maybe end of May! Sorry but that is unacceptable! We want to change our pick of furniture without any hassle. Also we are making payments on 3 pieces we don't even have. Really! Zero accountability relates to zero integrity. If you are offering furniture to the public to sell make sure it's available in a timely matter as to not become an inconvience for said consumer. It's not rocket science...

service were very bad , i ordered sofa & love seat on 25 Nov.21 , i payed full amount $2700 and till date i didn't receive my order ,i have contacted many times customer service every time they gave me different dates lastly they inform me that there is no expected date of delivery , it almost 3 months now without receiving my order , i bought temp. sofa till i get mine but really don't know how leons deals with their customer , they don't care for any satisfaction even they are not aware when they can deliver their products

Leon's Furniture Beige sofa

I purchased a sofa on Jan 26,2021 which was delivered after few months. Order number was 06261NLTPOX . When sofa was delivered, there was a visibile difference in the fabric color and texture. Love seat fabric was nice and new, however, the 3 seater sofa fabric looked old, brushed up and had a faded look. I reached out to the store several times to get this resolved. They sent a technician who seems biased and tried to convince that everything is normal. I am writing this to inform that I have no choice left but to file a consumer complaint as I feel I was deceived by the store by sending a faulty product where as I was expecting a new sofa.

Leon's Furniture Furniture

I bought a set of furniture from Leon's October 28th 2019. On November 19th 2020, we contacted Leon's with a complaint about the furniture, they said the warranty is up, we have to go through the extended warranty people. We contacted the warranty people, they sent out a repair person and looked at the problem. It is now February 8th 2022, the repair people have been out no less than 4 times, we still have the same problem. We would like the piece of furniture replace, but they refuse to do that THE FURNITURE IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE IT IS LITTEREKY FALLING APART. THERE IS STILL ALMOST 3 YEARS LEFT ON THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, BUT THEY STILL REFUSE TO REPLACE THE ITEM NOR DO THEY HAVE ANY INTENTION OF GIGING US OUR MONEY BACK. Is there anyone, ANYONE out there that can help us. We are seniors on a FIXED income, so we cannot afford to buy new, NOT THAT WE SHOULD have to. This furniture now is affecting our backs, we cannot sit in it comfortably. PLEASE PLEASE HELP! JUST FOR THE RECORD, NOT ONLY HAS THE FABRIC FAILED?, THE MECHANISMS HAVE FAILED 4 TIMES.

Leon's Furniture Kitchen table and chair set shorted

We bought a kitchen table and 4 chairs from Leons. After waiting over a month for delivery, they called and asked if they could deliver but they only had 2 chairs. We said no, don't deliver, because we need 4 chairs.

They called back the next day saying they miraculously found two more chairs and they scheduled delivery.

Delivery arrives, 2 boxes for the table and base, and two boxes of two chairs each. Except when we open one of the boxes there was actually only one chair. As soon as I picked it up I knew there was a problem, as it was much lighter than the first box and there was a lot of rattling. Sure enough, one chair was missing and the other was unwrapped, suggesting it has previously been assembled.

We contacted Leons and told them we said they were not to deliver unless they had 4 chairs, and there answer was they would send the 4th chair in a month to six weeks.

We said, sorry, not good enough. We need 4 chairs, and asked them to take everything back. They refused, saying because they delivered, no refunds were available. So basically, they can short an order, pretty obviously, even when I customer says don't deliver if you can't complete the entire order, and they believe that completes the sale.

This is a horribly deceptive business practice and I would not ever recommend buying from Leons.

Leon's Furniture Fridge- extended warranty

My compressor stopped working. I went to Leon's and I was told to call King and States. Each time I call King and States, I get hung up on or I have to wait for an hour to speak with a representative. I have asked them to expedite the repair because I have a newborn and a toddler at I am. It has been 2 weeks so far. I'll never buy anything from Leon's.

Leon's Furniture Defective fabric on sofa set

I purchase the amelia loveseat and sofa in April 2021 and have had it for only 8 months now and this is what the cushions look like. I contacted the store and was told it was under warranty and they have ordered all new covers. I called again today as the same problem is starting on the arms and they are saying It is regular wear and tear and it is not covered under warranty and that they only ordered new cushion covers as a nice gesture. This is absolutely disgusting that this is what the fabric looks like after only 8 months. When I shopping for the sofa, I asked the salesman the fabric was like and he told me that they had no bad reviews on this set. He also told me the manufacturer was Brentwood, which is why I decided to purchase the set. I find out today that I was lied to by the sales person regarding the fabric and the manufacturer is not Brentwood at all. I purchased it based on being told it was made by Brentwood as I know them to be a reputable manufacturer. I have worked in the furniture industry for almost 20 years, in both manufacturing and sales and I know this is not normal wear and tear. I spend 2500.00 on a piece of garbage and the Newmarket store washes their hands of it. I would like to know what other options I have to get this resolved. How can they honor a warranty on the cushion fabric and not the arm fabric when it is the same fabric? And being lied to by the sales person is just outright unethical.

Leon's Furniture mattress cover

Hi,

We bought mattress from Leons alongwith mattress cover and mattress protection. The mattress protection states that it is valid only when mattress cover is put on mattress from day1. At the time of sale, we were told that the mattress cover would be delivered alongwith the mattress. But upon delivery on Dec 14, 2021, we were told that mattress cover is 'out of stock' and would be delivered within a week. It has been 3 weeks that we have been chasing them but we have still not recieved the mattress cover. In such a scenario, in case my mattress gets spoiled, then I am not covered for the warranty and I am also NOT at fault. It is Leon's fault who are not providing me with the mattress cover and they are liable for the consequences. Also, it is disturbing my mental peace.
