Larry's Appliance service was called and arrived to diagnose a problem with our dishwasher not draining properly on December 1, 2009. The issue was diagnosed and a part was ordered. The company arrived back on December 2nd to install it and found that they had missed ordering another needed part. That part was ordered and the company returned to install it on the December 3rd. Upon presenting the bill, the company charged an additional labor charge because they had to return an extra time to install the part that was missed on the first visit. This additional charge was never disclosed prior to the presentation of the bill. Furthermore, the error in diagnosing the problem was the fault of the careless work of the technician who made the visit. The company has been paid for service, however, I request that the additional labor charge be refunded and that a permanent record of this dishonest and deceptive business practice be recorded.
