deli sandwich/italian sub
Good Afternoon:
I visited your store in Lancaster, OH earlier today and decided on getting a deli sandwich made to order, to go. A delightful older lady made the sandwich. I forgot her name but she said she used to drive a school bus and retired from that job. She prepared my sandwich and I went on shopping at your store. Later when I bit into the sandwich I noticed that he casing/wrapping of plastic hadn't been taken off the pepperoni slices on the sandwich. So in order to eat the sandwich I had to deconstruct it...a messy job. Not a big deal but perhaps instructions should be given to whoever pre-slices the deli meats for the sandwiches that the "skin" needs removed. I doubt it was the lady making the sandwich who previously sliced the meats.
Thank you,

management of sandusky, oh store.
This is not a complaint regarding the quality of Kroger products but a comment on the overall management of your newer store on Perkins Ave. in Sandusky, OH. What follows is the latest example of poor management at this location which includes inadequate staffing at the cash registers and poor customer service. This is unfortunate as this is one of the newer Kroger Superstores and is physically very nice.
I purchased my groceries the evening of May 29th using Kroger's handheld scanner. When I checked out, the system did not give me a receipt. I informed the attendant (Sue) who said she would get the head checkout individual to help me. When she arrived, she told me that the issue was that I had not paid for the groceries. I explained that I had and that my debit card had been approved. She implied I was trying to steal the groceries and told me I would have to prove that I had paid for them because I would have received a receipt if I had embarrassing me in front of the other customers in the area. I was able to do so using my bank app by getting my phone from the car. While I was at my car, the clerk was able to magically find my receipt.
I spoke also with store manager (Julie) who informed me the clerk was just doing her job because people stole groceries from them all the time. Her solution was to keep asking me what I wanted rather than admitting that they had any fault in this situation whatsoever.
I fail to see how accusing me of trying to steal groceries because Kroger's checkout system failed to give me a receipt and telling me it was my responsibility to "prove" I had paid for them makes me a "Valued Kroger Customer."
I ask of nothing in return except that Kroger upper management review the overall management skills and policies at this store and provide some additional education on customer service and resolving conflict.

Josh and Seth are the rudest people we have encountered at the S. Hamilton Rd. branch. They need to be somewhere they do not interaction with customers. They act like they are superior and are extremely difficult with which to deal. We have been going there almost 20 years and dread every time they are there. I went there one time at 8:15 am and they open at 8 am. I was at the drive thru and rang the bell. After 10 minutes they opened the blind and I said "don't you open at 8?" and was told by Josh, "you can't have it your way this isn't Burger King." Another time I was there I guess Seth didn't hear my response to something and he knocked loudly on the glass and said, "you need to talk louder. You see this thick glass here ." Very rude and unprofessional.
Record them and report it, that'll solve it very quick
If you are a employee go to ethicspoint and if you aren't at least write a letter and do an online complaint through the Kroger website

money service
Hello My fiancee and I went to Krogers in Paris TN on 5/18/2019 and the person who was in charge of the Department was not there and the employees there kept telling us that she will be back in 20 minutes and that went passed she wasnt there yet there was people lining up waiting on her the female in front of us had Dialysis and I'm 38 weeks pregnant. So my fiancee had went to the fuel center where Derek(employee) was saying she was at and he had waited three minutes before she looked up from her cellular phone and had an attitude when My fiancee had asked when will she be back to the Money Service and she told him that it will be another hour til she gets back to the Money Service and it was at 7:15 so almost time when the department was closing at 9 . In the meantime while he was gone the lady had asked if Derek could text the manager of Money Services and he said that she could take her [censored] somewhere else. There are some rude and impolite employees and I had asked if there was anyone else that knows how to do it and Derek had hatefully said no shes the only one that knows how to do it..
I just want you all to hire people that knows what they are doing and not on their phones Derek was on his cell phone the whole time.
If I were you I'd talk on the phone with someone from HQ PRONTO
roasted chicken noodle soup
I purchased this soup on 5/21/19 at Waukesha Metro Market, outside of Milwaukee Wisconsin. When I opened it up, it had not ONE noodle in the whole can and only
a very few small peices of chicken. It was basically just broth. How can you call it Chicken Noodle Soup with absolutely NO noodles? I was very hungry that night
and I was looking forward to having that soup! How can you falsify such a thing?
I can't return it because it's opened, and before I call the BBB, I thought I'd let you
know and ask for a credit, not only for the soup, but my trouble and frustration.

no service
Good afternoon,
I am a supervisor in home care. I assist the veterans. Some are confined to their homes, some have disabilities that will no premit them to stand long. Some choose to stay in the car or van when we assist them with their shopping etc. Today is my second attempt at the Kroger on Covington Hwy/Dekalb Medical to purchase money orders to do my job and assist my clients with paying their bills. First time, I was met with "no one is in customer service today" I said for real? and left. Eventually, we found a Walmart Stonecrest that does and return back on that side of town.
But today, May 19th at 6:00pm it was the same thing. I asked what time do they supposed to close, a cashier at the first register (found out later was the one supposed been at customer service) said "it doesnt matter we have closed customer service for today" I said, I can not get money orders? then while she was talking another lady about three registers down said" she said its not open, no we will not be opening cusotmer service because we need everyone on check out" I aksed her was she the manager, she said she is the front-end supervisor.
I stop going to Kroger for this very reason. Bad attitudes. If I was not helping my client and going where it was convient for him, I would not have step foot in there.
I hope one day that Kroger is replaced by Publix with their friendly caring staff.
I will continue to let as many people know my experience today.
I was also a manager at family dollar and if we say we provide a service we did just that. All our customer needs were met when possible. The proper way the supervisor should have handle that was. Let me get my line down and I will be happy to help you an customer service.
This is very disheartening, you should write a letter to the Kroger HQ.

bottle returns room
For the past 4 weeks the Bottle Return Room at the Kroger Store in Westland, MI has been unaccessible at the time it's suppose to be open. This is absolutely inexcuseable that personnel cannot get to work on time or show up at all to perform their duties so customers can get their bottle returns processed and continue to do their shopping without the hassle of finding people willing to open up without getting an attitude.
This is May 18, 2019 and yet Management cannot seem to hire people that are resposible to perform job duties assigned. If employees are unable or unwilling to do their job then they should be removed and another hired willing to do the best job they can.
I said all along that by putting the Bottle Reurn Room outside was a horrible decision as I knew these problems were going to arise. It's time to either relocate that room so people aren't inconvenienced anymore or hire better Management to oversee that this situation is addressed properly by either having another associate check to make sure the room is open to the public, or that MANAGEMENT MAKES SURE IT'S OPEN !

reserved parking for veterans
Hello, I went to Lowes in my city, and found they have Reserved Parking for Veterans.
I shop at Kingsooper store in Pueblo, CO. at least 5 times a week.
It would be nice if your stores have at least 6 spaces just like handycap in the parking lot. They also offer 10% discount with your I.D. Can Kroger offer this.
Thanks,

cashier attitude
Warren, a bagger at West Chester Kroger, was disrespectful and snarky. I was checking out at the Kroger Marketplace in West Chester, Ohio at 10 PM on Monday, April 22. He was rudely asking what kind of onion that I was buying. He said that all he had that came up on his register were sweet onions. He impatiently asked me a couple of times. I thought the guy would know his own product. I answered that it was a sweet onion. He rang it up and threw it down to the end of the checkout lane where a bagger was supposed to be.
Finally, a clerk from the next lane came by and started bagging as Warren continued to check and throw items to her. They were both also talking about the manager on duty.
His behavior, to me, was disrespectful, rude, and inappropriate, to say the least.
If I were his supervisor, I would have written him up or fired him!
Yes this is a rude scenario but I've been to a Kroger to where something was thrown at a disabled woman and she was able to prove it and the person got fired. As for this scenario if you reported him they are just gonna have a "talk" which isn't useful.
staff in general
I got off work and went to kroger and just worked. It was 720 in the morning. I went to the deli and was standing there and the worker looked at me and said they didn't open till 8 but wast doing really much of anything and it was a few minutes till 8. I just walked away. Went to the register with a full cart, which none were open except uscan. I ask the miserable looking lady on the 15 items or less and asked if anybody could help ring me out on a register. There was no one in the store so I didn't think she'd mind to help. Opposite of what I thought. She nodded to the uscan and said they were open. As I was scanning my stuff, I could hear her and another person snickering about it. I just put the item I was scanning down and pushed my cart out of the way and started walking out. I was half way through the door when these 2 said one of them could help me. Terrible. I've been shopping here for over 15 years and will not be going back.
It does not matter if it is a few minutes until eight. IF they do not open until eight they do not open until eight. Would you like to work before you are suppose to start or after you are finished. Also 7:20 is not a "few minutes to eight" When you have entitlement issues, and coe 40 minutes before the store open and mistake that as a "few minutes to eight" you deserve to be snickered at for your own idiocy. Trust me you won't be missed. Rarely do stores and restaurants miss self centered, arrogant childish customers like yourself. For every self centered person like yourself there are thousands of those that are normal that know to shop within the allotted hours. Also you were not very loyal if you will not be returning when you had one bad experience in 15 years. One that is your fault. I would think if you were a 15 year customer there you would know when they open. Grow up.
scan and go
Kroger scan and go is the most inconvenient thing of all time., first you scan all of your items and uniquely place them in your bags once you do that you go to the register think everything is fine you scan your handheld device at the register only to be told to wait for an associate to come once an associate comes the associate then have to ring up 15 items out of your bag causing you to wait causing them to disorganized everything that you had already set in place with bagging. Claiming because the order is big they have to scan 15 items before you are allowed to pay. Mind you I only had about 20 items so you might as well just scanned my entire order or in my case rescan my entire order and re-bag my entire order. You might as well just go to the register have them ring everything up and walk out the door. I spend time bagging and packing only for them to rescan it sloppily bag and make me wait an extra 15 to 20 minutes while they do the exact same thing I just did and I'm guessing to make sure that I didn't steal anything. It's very inconvenient I would never use Kroger Scan & Go Again. It should be renamed Kroger Scan & Go then rescan re-bag pay and go.
employee at registers
Tall Female employee that wears way too much perfume and borders on stinky. I am a 70 Yr Old senior and I cannot be around a lot of smells like that. She wares gray jeans a lot and drives a red mustang with white racing stripes. There is a real lot of seniors that shop from the 2 seniors centers in the area and I feel pretty sure they cant be around perfume smells either. I have told the store manager about this issue in the past but nothing has been resolved. I believe that people should be able to shop in a store without having to be subjected to overly perfumed smells that almost leave them sickly. My spouse does not ware any type of perfume or what I call smelly goods.

promoting muslims with advertisement
I have to hear about Muslims and their hatred for Christians on the news everytime I turn on the TV. I have to see them burning Christians or beheading Americans/Christians, raping children/animals, listen to them yell death to America and watch us cow down to this idealogy. So the last thing I want is to go to my local Kroger and be confronted with a big poster of a Muslim woman! Is Kroger associated or owned by a Muslim corporation now? What purpose does this poster serve? We are not a Muslims community, this is the Bible Belt! I am one of many customers of this store who is unhappy with this promotion. If you want to promote Kroger as a friendly store for all races/religions/idealogies then have a poster depicting all these people! Do you know how if feels to come into Kroger and be hit in the face with a poster of a Muslim? They killed over 3 thousand of our people on 9/11, or have you forgotten? Your Christian patrons are requesting that you take down this poster in the Kroger Store in West Memphis, Arkansas.
online pharmacy
I have made several calls today to the inline Pharmacy customer service for being locked out account, refill option not working and $10 taken off my card for refills when my prescriptions have no copay. My local Pharmacy helped with my refills but the CSR did not help with refunding my $ 10. Please fix issue, as I have been a loyal customer and deserve a refund.
(This is the email I received about charge to my debitcard: Pharmacy Online ReliaCard POS Pre-Authorization Alert Your ReliaCard has been authorized by [protected] KROGER #5890 EAST LANSING MI US (10 day hold) in the amount of $-10.00. As of 04/11/2019, your available balance was $173.16).

krogers brand baby carrots
Purchased a bag of Kroger Baby Carrots on sale Friday, April 5, 2019
Opened the bag Tuesday, April 10, 2019 and noticed how vibrant the orange color was. Thought this was a good thing, they tasted fresh with a nice crunch.
When I went to brush my teeth noticed when rinsing that the rinse water now had an orange tint to it as I went into my sink.
Now I realize that those vibrant carrots had been somehow colored to give that vibrant orange color.
NO damage was done to my teeth. After brushing and rinsing several times the original color was now back.
click list complaint
RE: Code #1000 [protected] / [protected] On March 06, 2019 I made a click list purchase. When my groceries were broght to the car and the the young lady went over my bill, I brought it to her attention that the bill was much larger than what I had purchased. She told me to take the receipt home and look it over and call them if there was a problem. When I arrived home I checked the receipt and I immediately called them. When reviewing my receipt I noticed that they charged me seven (7) times for one (1) package of steak that I purchased. Overall they overcharged me $66.72. When I spoke to the manager over the click list, she promised that a gift card for $66.72 would be mailed to me and as of today (almost 4 weeks later) I have not received the gift card. I have called at least SIX (6) times pertaining to the gift card and I keep getting told that it was mailed. I only live 5 minutes from this store and I do not understand why it is taking so long to receive it. Generally, if something is mailed from an address in Orange to another address in Orange, it only takes a couple of days even if it is routed thru Houston. I have several medical issues and this service is a blessing to me, however, I am on a fixed income and if I have to constantly fight this battle, I will have no other choice than to start using the Wal-Mart online service.
Your immediate attention to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Patricia A Cvengros
