Kroger public health/proper training for deli workers

I went to the Deli department to purchase some white Kroger American cheese. As I walked up to the Deli counter the employee was putting whatever she was eating behind the meat slicer into her mouth. She was wearing clear plastic gloves and while still chewing her food asked if she could help me! I told her I would like a pound of Kroger white American cheese. She take the cheese from the case to the same slicer she was just eating her food over and began slicing my cheese. She did not change gloves before picking up the cheese after having her fingers in her mouth! Further more, starts rubbing her nose while still slicing my cheese! Her gloves were never changed! I really did not want to take the cheese. I really hope I don't catch anything from Marie! This is a really bad health concern, possible health violation. But, I would think this should be used for training/retraining of employees. I hope this is addressed urgently!

Kroger parking lot.

On Sunday March 17th, at approx. 4:45pm I was collecting groceries in the Click List Parking Bay Number 1 at The Kroger at 24 mile and Dequindre in Shelby Township.
After my groceries were loaded by, Hannah, and my trunk closed I watch through the rear view camera your employees walk over to the next customer waiting in Bay 4. No vehicle was on the left hand parking spot, next to my Dodge Durango. As I slowly backed up with my daughter in the passenger side of the car, I back up and turned my wheel anti clock wise to face North to exit the parking lot. As I turned my Driver's side wheel panel clipped the Click list post that was posited at the left hand back side of the parking spot. I missed my review mirror and bumped my wheel arch, door panel and hood!
As you can imagine I was very frustrated. I wound down the window and shouted to you employees, "that I guess I am not the first person to hit that post, " and they nodded! The lady in Bay 4 remarked, "that post should totally not be there. I would have done the same!"

So the reason why I am complaining is because I feel the position of this Pole and Click List Signage is a problem. There is no curb around this post and when you back out of the space it is in your blind spot. I am not the first or the last person that will hit this pole. You can tell because the pictures below are from Google maps taken in Sept 2018, and you can totally see the black paint of someone's car before mine hit it this March.

This was the most expensive grocery shop of my life. I had just less than $200 in groceries and now I have $1500 in damages. I was going to use my insurance. However, seeing as though I have no claims on my insurance for over 18 years, since we moved to the USA. I did not want my premiums to go up.

So in closing I would like someone to review this issue and come back to me with a resolution, so no one else has to go through, what I have too. I would also like some compensation for the time, energy and money I have put into fixing my vehicle because of a position of a post that shouldn't be there.

Kroger pricing

I used to shop at the Signature Kroger in N. Richland Hills, Tx. Kroger used to be very competitive. Not anymore. They eliminated the 10% senior discount given for Kroger brand items. Kroger Bran Flakes was $1.89 a box for years, they are now $2.29 (Wal-Mart has them for $1.89 a box). I applied for and received a Kroger credit card because the discounts were amazing with Kroger's THEN pricing. Pricing has increased a lot, so discounts are not so amazing anymore. It's probably of no consequence to Kroger, but I no longer shop with you. I get much better deals from Wal-Mart. Until you reduce your profit margin, I suspect other people have noticed your sharp increases and are finding better deals elsewhere as well. It used to be that no one could beat Kroger prices, even Wal-Mart...not so anymore.

Kroger fuel station

I stoped to by 10 packs of discounted cigarettes n they would only sell me 5 they said I was taking advantage of the discount I feel that is totally unfair if u have 10 packs u should sell me 10 packs rep said manager set the rule! No other kroger station has ever told me that ever! I could see if I was trying to buy 10 cartons or something but totally uncalled for! Thank u

Kroger Kroger rx savings club

During 2019 I have shifted my daily (9) prescription purchases tro Kroger pharmacy, 6002 st. Joe ctr. Road, Fort Wayne, in 46835 I m 84 years of age and currently enrolled in the Aetna medicare rx saver prescription insurance plan. Staff technicians suggested that I call 1-855-912-6346 to determine by way of a customer service rep where there would be financial benefit to me to enroll in the Kroger rx savings club.
On Tuesday, 3/19/19 I personally called the the above referenced number and spoke to c.S. Rep Madison. She asked if I had a list of my daily meds which I read off to her and she responded with her record of the retail value of each. Then when I said would there be any purpose or value for me to pay $36 to join the savings club, Madison said she had no idea. Madison is not a promoter of the "savings club" and doesn't understand how it works.
Could I have a manager/supervisor call me to explain the Kroger club and whether there would be any financial advantage for me to join.
Also, I would like to know what Madison is suppose to know and do as a customer service representative for kroger.
Thank you for your prompt response. I am a dedicated grocery shopper, but I have great reservations about your pharmacy services.

Kroger lack of support

I'm all stressed out, when I was hired last year after kroger bought farm fresh, I was told at the training center i was told I was being hired as meat cutter i asked if I would be getting 40 hrs they told me yes. Later I found out that they changed it a part-time meat clerk and never told me. I have been getting 40 hrs, but next week I'm only getting 29.75 yrs and the week after I'm not even on the schedule. I have to move next yr, so I need to save money, how am I suppose to survive with no hrs ? I've been hunting for hrs at other stores with no success. Employees should Not have to hunt for work ! This is ridiculous ! I don't know what to do . Any ideas ? Mgmt can t help

Kroger restrooms

The restrooms look as though they have never been cleaned. It is not just dirty, but disgusting. Floors, toilets, trash cans. It is unsanitary. There needs to be regular cleaning done at least a few times a day. People are always complaining about the smell and the inability to use most of the stalls due to lack of cleanliness. They toilets are often backed up as well. Please hire a cleaning crew if necessary!

Kroger unethical behavior from employee

This is the second time i've filed this complaint without any resolution

On or about February 4, 2019 I visited my local Kroger. The weather was extremely bad that day. After I made my purchases, I stood inside by the carts. Please understand I was not blocking ALL the carts. I was waiting on my ride to pick me up when all of a sudden someone came behind me grabbed my arm and begin to grab my basket of paid grocery items. She said, "The customers are complaining that you are blocking the carts". I said, "Ma'am please don't touch me or my cart, I am not blocking ALL the carts, there's 5 more rolls of them to choose from. And I excuse myself if I see I'm anyone's way. She put on this major drama to the point customers entering was just at a standstill, watching in disbelieve.
It wasn't until I saw her come out the store and hand a man a Valentine Day Card and say, "this might work", that I realized it was an employee in uniform, Cindy was her name. I approached her and said, "Oh you are an employee, the lady who grabbed me by the arm and tried to take my grocery cart. I immediately reported incident to the front end manager. But interestingly enough when I asked who she was, her co-workers did not give any positive or say anything positive about Cindy. I spend thousands of dollars a year at Kroger and for this to happen was traumatic for me. I am a 100% disabled service-connected veteran and I've never experienced anything like this while serving my country. It seemed like I was targeted for whatever her reason was.
The manager said they would talk to her, but I'm not sure any repercussions from the assault and harassment will happen. I did not call the police, though one was right in the parking lot, because I did not want to bring that kind of drama to my favorite grocery store. I am a part of the Atlanta media family and will report this to my news reporter Tom Jones or Vince Sims.

I am respectfully requesting that I be given so me type of compensation for Cindy's actions, harassment and the fear that she let in my heart. I'm always watching my back now. A Kroger gift card for $500 would be accepted for the assualt and harassment suffered due to this employee.

Kroger pharmacy department

I don't know where to start but the Kroger pharmacy located at Erie Blvd, Hamilton OH is the pits. My son has been trying to get a prescription filled there and has been given the run around, stating they didn't have the script, then didn't have a preauth but come to find out they needed override but not using the terminology and it has been back and forth, then pharmacy saying they didn't have it and meds would be in next day, I called next day and told me same thing...it has been a run around at this location. My son's girlfriend called a different Kroger to see if sent to them by mistake to be filled but they listened to the dilemma of the run around and told her this is how we would have proceeded, etc and they were very helpful and nice. But this Kroger is crazy and does not want to take the time to explain anything. New script has been called in to yet a different Kroger this am and there has been no issues. Although somehow not being ran through insurance due to amount prescribed but that will be resolved when my son gets his script filled through the inhouse pharmacy at the MD's office.

Kroger seasoned frozen turkey burgers

Purchased a package of your seasoned turkey burgers from the frozen department about 2 weeks. I made one for dinner and wow do they taste awful! Not sure if it's freezer burn or what? So terrible couldn't eat anymore. I love my Kroger store but they are really bad. I saved the bar code if you need it. Would be happy to send it to you. You can also call me at [protected]. Kroger Customer service dept

I just shopped at your store in Blue Ash, Ohio in which I encounter a situation that was not very pleasant. I was told by another customer that due to the restuction of the Blue Ash store that she received a $5.00 coupon for the inconvience. She said she received it about a week and a half ago. So I stopped at the customer service desk and Kylee was there in which she said that when I checked out I should receive a coupon for that. After checking out I received absolutely nothing. At that time she was on the floor and not at the customer service counter. She told me that I should go to the customer service counter and receive $5.00 off which would be applied to my credit card. I told Jared who was behind the counter and explain to him which Kylee told me. His response was "every time you shop you do not receive couponsI". That when he shops here that he doesn't. His customer service qualities has alot to be desired. Apparently Kroger does not send out the same coupon to all. This happened on 3/11/2019 My email address is [protected]@hotmail.com

Kroger accounts payable

Invoices 14071, 14133, 12653, 12517 for Against the Grain Gourmet Foods

The above-listed invoices have not been paid, and I can't get anywhere on their Lavante system. I tried calling their A/P department, but all attempts to make contact with an actual human just lead back around to the same recording that says to go to Lavante, no matter what selections you press. Likewise, all emails get automated replies and state that there are no humans involved.

For Invoices 14071 and 14133, it says there are "invoice errors". So, what are they and how do I fix them? I auto-convert the PO, exactly as is, into an invoice in Quickbooks, where almost no changes are made except to the ship dates and shipping location, so I have no idea what the errors are or why it won't be paid. They look exactly like the other orders that got paid. When I click the "view details" in the "invoice errors" section, they are blank, no information at all. I haven't found an edit button, though I have no idea what I would edit, since they are exactly as ordered.

14071, (PO# 82691, shipped 1/26/190 is a substantial amount ($18, 201.00), and 14133 (PO#77384, shipped 2/5) is $1370.88.

These were both shipped from IWI facility in Franklin, which is where Kroger wanted all orders to be shipped from (along with AmeriCold in Los Angeles, but we have not had payment issues with those orders). I know these two are newer, but they are just as stuck in the system as the following POs are (below).

I have also been trying to get these two other invoices paid:

Invoice 12517 (PO# 53436, for $1783.08) was shipped June 18, 2018. I have submitted additional paperwork and still have not been paid. This order, like the rest, was shipped out of IWI in Indiana. This is now going on 9 months overdue.

The other one, Invoice 12653 (PO# 87494, for $5788.52) shipped July 12, 2018, and I also submitted additional paperwork for that. This is now going on 8 months overdue.

Is there some other way to go about getting paid for these very long overdue and stuck/problematic invoices? Lavante has done nothing, except take months to decline a filing for one reason or another. These represent over $27K in revenue that we just have not ben able to collect from Kroger. As noted, I have submitted as much paperwork as I can for the older ones, but access to shipping records is limited to what IWI has. As for the newer ones, I have no idea how to fix them to make them acceptable to be paid. We are a small, family-owned company, this is a lot of revenue currently not being paid to us.

Kroger deli dept

I went into my local kroger to shop I stood at the deli and was totally ignored after getting the attention of a young man in the back cleaning up he contacted a young lady with a very bad attitude, I went to the service desk and reported her to management an older guy came to assist me, although he was willing to cut the sandwich meat himself he never washed his hands! I left and went to publix and spent my money there.

Kroger the assistant manager from kroger

Good Morning; Just want to say that I went on Monday the 11th, 2019 to Kroger Store #439 in Fort Worth Tx 76116. I am a Parent Liaison From Leonard Middle School And I went in to ask for the manager to talk to her about our Teacher's Appreciation Day they told me she was busy and the Assistant Manager Tammy came over to help me, I told her we were trying to get donations for our school to raffle prizes for our teachers, she was very rude and had an attitude told me they do not do that in Kroger and I said that they would provide for Waverly Park Elementary and For after school, but she keep saying no that we had to deal with Corporate, we are a low income school and we would like for Kroger to be part of the community help, Our school was very disappointed and hurt because you help other schools. Our School is Leonard Middle and I am the Parent Liaison for this school [protected]. Thank you for your understanding. Hope it will not happen again.

Kroger network outage

On Saturday Feb. 9th between 12-2pm I was shopping at the Krogers in Harrison Ohio. I had not been been there very long and the lights flashed that appeared there was a power outage but they quickly came back on. This happened a second and same outcome with a quick flash and back on. The store manager did not announce anything over the speaker so everyone in the store continued to shop. I had been in the store for about 1-1 1/2 hours and was about halfway thru my shopping list when an announcement came over the speaker. A store representative stated that the store was closing and everyone would need to bring their cart up to the front and exit the store. My daughter who was shopping with me asked a manager what happened and he stated their network was down and it could be 20 mins or up to 8 hours before it would be restored.

I spent an hour or more of my time in addition driving there to fill my basket with produce, meat ect. and then just leaving without my groceries. As a result I had to spend another afternoon today grocery shopping again.

I was very upset and nothing was said to those shoppers as they will ushered out of the store only than "We apologize"

Kroger pharmacy

Hi, I called in (2) Rx on 1/29 and they still were not ready on 2/5.

The lady working the pharmacy, drive thru on 2/5 ~5:30p acted like I was the problem for questioning why they weren't ready after so many days and i'm about ready to transfer all Rx away from Kroger or back to the Monroe, MI store where they are more friendly and work faster (there are consistent lines at Lamberville Pharmacy too).

This same lady (at Lambertville) sounded like the voice that has been rude on the phone, regarding similar inquiries.

Between my wife & I, we probably spend thousands per year at Kroger's and us, or no one else, should be treated this way (my cust. # is same as phone #).

Kroger party wings

Spent all that money to buy party wings to feed my family of five and their is only 11 pieces of wings in it how im I suppose to feed my family with that. Everybody get two pieces and fight about the rest the portion size is all wrong on the package. I have to buy two bags when I can get plenty in a bag at aldis I love your store but that made me mad 11 pieces of chicken they eat about three pieces each sometimes four. Now im stuck fixing additional stuff. Yall gotta do better especially for the price 7 to 8 bucks for this wow! Just imagine if I was throwing a party o lord thats alot of bags of ck unless you had a bigger bag I didnt see.

Kroger customer service

I appreciate Kroger, I really do. The prices are affordable and near home. But one thing Kroger has to do is remain professional. ...Treat all customers the same. When a customer that happens to be a former employee comes in, DO NOT USE THAT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BUMBARD THEM WITH PERSONAL QUESTIONS. Questions like where do you work? Where do you live? Did you get married yet?...Those are just examples...Instead, as did you find what you needed sir/ misses?...I should not have to remind employess when I come in that I don't want to talk about work or other personal things. Kroger wants to know where I work because the chick there that has been there forever is scared that her job is in jeporday. So everytime I come in, we gotta play mind games. Mind your business. Ring my stuff up and smile, that's it. I don't want to tell Kroger my life story. My life don't revolve around the fact that I don't or do work there. What happenned to real customer service.? I feel like the FBI is on my tail when I come in ..lol...Just chill. Just ring and smile.

Kroger hostile work environment / bullying

The floor manager will continue to get people to follow me through the store. The floor manager will laugh in my face until I I say "what are laughing at" then he told me "I don't wont you in here anymore". I called the police and then he called the police. He claiming I cant come in the store anymore which I don't work for Kroger I work for advantage sales and marketing which is in Kroger. I been harassed since I started working in this store since Oct 2017. he snatched my cart that I merchandise products on and said "I told you to leave" while all my personal things inside my cart. he ask me what am I sampling. I said I haven't looked on my phone yet. he said how you don't know. I repeated I haven't looked at my phone yet. he laugh in my face continually, I ask him, what's funny, continue to laugh. so I said kee kee my [censored]. The reason I said I haven't check my phone yet is because the item that come on my phone I need to verify it and sometimes they are already in the warehouse that haven't been into yet. And when the police arrived I talked to them and they told me to leave before my shift ended. I've contacted my company schedule and inform her about the situation through voicemail and also contacted advantage sales and marketing human resources. Now I m hesitate to go to my job.

Kroger customer service

My family has been shopping at the Richmond Hill, Ga.31324 location since the day it opened and for the most part have always enjoyed shopping here. We purchase all of our groceries, prescriptions and fuel here.
Lately we feel that the level of service we have come to expect has gone down considerably.
1st-Your rain check policy in this store is not known to every customer service person. About 2 weeks, I requested a rain check and was told by Teresa that rain checks are only issued on the last day of your weekly sale and that I could check back daily for the item I want or come on the last day for a rain check. Why even offer rain checks if it is to be so inconvenient and difficult to obtain one. She told me it is because some customers take advantage of this by purchasing the items and also getting rain checks. I agree this is wrong, but I did not do this!
2nd-My wife came to your store on Sunday Jan.20th @ about 8:15Pm and decided to use the self scanner system. She took her time and finished up @ about 10:00Pm, when she went to check out, Sheila simply snatched the scanner from my wife and said, the cut-off to self scan is @ 9:00Pm, WOW! This left my wife in tears after spending all this time scanning and organizing, just to be so rudely halted. Fortunately another cashier noticed this and offered to help scan everything. My wife actually had to bag her own groceries that night (this is pretty common). I feel like maybe a storewide announcement may have been a good idea.
We can shop anywhere but we chose Kroger. I don't like being treated as if I am trying to get over or as if I'm some kind of nuisance. I would like to know that when we come to your store, our business is appreciated. I know not everything will always be perfect but lately it has not been good at all.
