Kroger bottle return

I went into your Lincoln Park store to return 28 bottles. The bottle machine is down due to remodeling. I proceeded to Customer Service. I informed Judie that I was returning bottles. She said she could not accept them due to the machine was down. I asked for a manager. She called Rachel, who never came. She then told me the machine was up, I went back out & the gentleman told me it was still down. Went back in the store. Judie called for Rachel again.in the meantime, Kelly came out & asked what was the problem. I told her & she gave me $2.80 & accepted the bottles. Kelly was wonderful. Judie & Rachel need customer service knowledge & skills which they're lacking. Thank you!

Kroger seafood, duckies deviled crabs

I bought a package from the store in chester Va, great store but they changed their supplier, &the price is the same but the quality sucks, I found filling in the deviled crab that should have been thrown out. I forgot their other brand but it was much better, thank you for listening. I don't complain much but I drive a ways for snow crab & deviled crab so when I got home the snow crab leg clusters were great, however the deviled crab really sucked. Sorry.

Kroger store manager, kim / jennifer grocery manager

Frist if all I would like to give you a summary of who I am. Patricia Yeary, I work for Advantage Solutions/Compass, I am a resetter, and I love my job. I have a wonderful boss, who I love working for. I was employed by Advantage to complete resets. I take pride in my work, I am dedicated to make my work. Because it is a reflection on myself, my Boss, and the company that I work for. I was also in the military fulltime for 30 years. I worked for Kroger 83-85.
Brief detail of complaint. Over all both Kim and Jennifer are RUDE. Jennifer has an extremely foul mouth. That I would like to enlighten you on some of the colorful language, she uses every day. In front of myself and Kroger Customers. I would like for you to hear it come out of my mouth, to experance the full impact of it.
Today I had my first encounter with Kim at 741. I was just finishing up my reset. Kim stopped me in the back dock. She said " I know it wasn't you, but she walked right by me and put her trash on the floor". I turned to look, and I said. "Oh that is mine, I put it there". Kim replied, "no she walked right by me and put it there". I told Kim, "ever since I have been working there. The guys tell us to put our trash by the door". Kim snapped back with, " If a manager is back here, you need to have us unlock the door". I tried to explainto to her again, that, that is what we have all been told. So I told her to open the door for me. And I put my co-workers trash in the shoot.
This is my first encounter with Kim. I don't appreciate her tone and attitude. I am considered a vendor, not trash off the street. She needs to take a diversity class, and realize that is not how you conduct yourself. If you are an employee of Kroger, let alone a Store Manager. She did not introduce herself, she did not ask who I was, she just started talking nasty to me about something, someone else did. If she had a problem with one of my co-workers. She should have introduced herself to them, and calmly enlightened them on the back dock, trash policy. Or Kim should have called our Boss. You don't chew someone out, over someone else's mistake. When I worked for Krogers, I would have been written up for addressing and talking nasty to a vendor. As Kim did to me today. Her tone and attitude are totaly unacceptable. I will call tomorrow and give more details.

Kroger kroger's pharmacy

I have been with Kroger's for years I recently changed pharmacy due to the manager unprofessional service. I still get medication fill in which the doctors can not call in. I'm considering going to another pharmacy. I stop by Kroger on Thursday of last week 04/05/2018 to get my prescription fill. The prescription could not be filled until today 04/09/2018. I called the pharmacy this morning at 9:00 am to pick up my script. Marie at store number [protected] told me the script will not be ready until after 12:00 pm. I asked to speak with the manager she stated I am the manager. (Remind you the script been there since last Thursday) I told her I could not wait until 12 because I had to be at work. She stated I have a lot of script to fill and you just have to wait. I told her I will be there in 20 min to pick up my script. When I got there the script was not ready and she did not look or speak to me. She told the tech here have her to sign this. The pharmacy manager name is Marie at 3311 N. Sterling Ave. Peoria Illinois 61604, store number [protected]. Just think I was thinking about changing my prescription back to this store. I need my medication like everyone else, I am a human being and deserve to be treated like one. If I'm paying money out of my pocket I deserve like others to be respected and treated like a customer and not a number.

Kroger was placed on suspension without previous notice of wrongdoing

Was placed on suspension pending termination on 02/27/2018. For violation of company policy. (policy that does not exsit) had prior authorization from management to "sample" products for night shift huddles. Company has so far refused to allow me to come back. And I am attempting to file for an aribitration. Step number 4 with the union. Which I feel has not done its complete job. I have witness statements, stating the permission was granted from the previous manager and no one bothered to change rule when they let him go. All co-mangers in store knew about the procedure. Feel I am being targeted.

Kroger kroger brand santa fe style with chicken salad for one kit

I bought the salad hoping for a delicious, filling meal during my lunch. And what did I get you may ask. Well let me tell you. I got a salad kit with about 6 1/2 pieces of cheese. The cheese was supposed to be muliti colored and I only received one color. The cheese was also not in the correct compartment which made it very difficult to properly construct my salad. My fork was also moist which made the task of eating my salad quite a hard. Please fix these mistakes and get back to me.

Kroger cashier and override cashier

I was shopping at your krogers on rangeline toad in carmel indiana. On friday 3/30/2018. It was about 9:30 pm I saw that you had colts ponchos on sale for 75% off you had2 left I thought this would be great for an easter gift for my 2 grandsons. The price normally was 39.99 I went to the check out at that time only 1 cashier was open beside self check out. I went through her lane I had put the poncho at the end of my order to make sure it rung up right, it did not it came up the reg. price of 39.99 I told the cashier they were 75% off she removed it and tried to put the 75% off a couple of rimes and it did not work so then she decided just to put in a price of $15.00 each I then said I think it should be about $10.00 apiece. She said Well I do not believe they are 75% off anyway. I then told her yes they are would you like me to go get the sign. She said no my bill came to $125.00 and so odd cents I gave her 130.00 cash for some reason she could not total me out had to call for an over ride (I believe the reason she could not cash me out was because of all the entries and voids that she had made) Karen I believe was the name of the over ride person. she (the cashier told Karen I had all of these colts items that was reason for over ride Karen asked where are they she said well she has 2 in her cart. I then explained to Karen what had happened with not one word responce from her. I then took my cart and went back to the place where the sign was located and brought it up front to K aren who was now bagging for the cashier and showed her the sign then also showed it to the cashier neither one of your employees said they were sorry or anything I told them I did not like being called a liar. I kept my voice at a low tone not to cause others to hear I can not believe that employee can treat your customers in that manor

Kroger visa gift card

So I purchased a $50 visa gift card on 3/30/2018. I went to the pump and tried to use it to get gas. It said declined and asked me to come up to the counter. I did and the clerk advised I can't use it at the pump. I asked him to decline it and left. I then went to another gas station where it did not work inside or at the pump. I went online to check my card and it said my card balance was $0. I came back to kroger and asked customer service. They advised me to just call the number given. I called and was advised that they would hold my money for up to 10 business days. I then called the number on that was on the back of the card. They advised me that b/c I tried it at the pump that they took my money and would hold it for 3 days. They said that I should have gone to the register for them to swipe the card the first time.
My complaint:
Nobody told me this! And now I have to wait 3 days to have access to
My money!
This is some kind of [censor]! I put the money on that card and I except to be able to use that money now, when I need it to put gas in my car!
I am going out of town tomorrow and was needing that money for the gas and food while I was out of town. Now because of this [censor], I have to go and find a way to get $50 somehow by tomorrow morning!
Thanks for nothing kroger!
I will never ever shop at your store again!

Kroger service - totally unacceptable - this store is a consistent problem

I have been a Kroger customer for over 45 years and spent a literally tens of thousands of $ with your company.

This Kroger store (its store manager is a "Mr. Bishop") is a consistent problem at check out and I have witnessed it for several months before ever writing. I've given Kroger Nashboro Village every opportunity to improve, yet nothing changes. They and their manager/Mt Bishop clearly only are trying to cheap out and save labor.

Why would ANY Grocery store in this competitive market (consistently) have only 2 full check out lines on Friday afternoons at 3 pm? Yet this store does it consistently while my 90 year old Dad waits for 25 min.

The 2 poor girls working feverishly at full check out called 3 times for Mr Bishop and any manager to come to check out and assist, yet no one came for at least 10-15 min?

I gave up — -Kroger's better wake up - I have many choices in Nashvilke whether Publix, Trader Joe's etc and I WILL take my and my family's business elsewhere and encourage all I know to consider doing the same. If needed I have several local network media acquaintances who's love to do a "consumer story" piece on local news about Kroger's "customer service"

Shame on you Kroger; someone from a Reg or Corp Mgmt standpoint better wake up, check on and improve your management at Kroger Nashboro Village. No wonder Whole Foods (and Amazon) see an opportunity - Wake up! Before it's too late

Kroger management

Hi, I use to be a cake decorator for bout 3 1/2 months. I use to love this job, but slowly it became my worst nightmare. Finally finding a job I love, but dealing with being bullied and going unappreciated by my managers pushed me away. My manager never helped me r gave me guidance, but yet was quick to nit pick and complain everyday about things I wasn't even doing.. Teamwork was unheard of. And the worst part was the store manager takes his managers words over his employees and is to lazy to observe and get his own opinons of what was REALY going on in the bakery and other departments. The store was completely ran by favoritism. I feel sorry for anyone who works at that store. The last day I worked I was pulled to the office to have a talk with the boss and my dept manager. I was finally happy to be able to talk bout the issues I was having, but quickly I realized that was not happening. Instead everything that came out of my mouth I was told I was a liar. And to top it off I was being yelled at and talked to like I'm stupid instead of the mature 35yr old women that i am. I could have stayed and yelled over my bosses yelling and defended everything I was being accused of, but instead I just kindly said sir if your going to speak to me like I'm a child I will just go. And he points to the door. I said yes sir no problem and left. I am 35yrs old. I have had many jobs in my lifetime and I have always been praised by managers and employees for being one of the best workers in whatever job i have done. Sitting in that office was a joke to me. I had dreams to retire there, cause I loved cake decorating so much, but unfortunately there r always others ready to strip us from the things that make us happy. No dream is worth being so disrespected. That store is a mess. The managers and bosses r so out of touch with their employees. They relie souly on their buddies and friends in management posions words rather than seeking the real truth. There r still employees there today suffering . Being accused of things they didn't do, being yelled at and talked down to instead of handling things appropriately. There's no reason for an employee to get yelled at. If an employee is doing something wrong. Give them a write up, don't yell sir. That way there is a record that records both employee and manager issue to be fair. Yelling and Being talked down to is un professional and disgusting. Just cause you r hire ranking does not mean u own your employees, and realying souly on the word of your managers instead of trying to communicate and understand the employees at the bottom is what is causing the store to run like crap. It's like a house. You start with the foundation first, not the roof. I would have liked to have been kroger family for life, but the way i was treated and everything i experienced, it was not worth it. At the end decorating cakes was not fun anymore. The smile, the laughter, and the joy cake decorating gave me was no longer. I kept telling myself to push through. One day I will be treated right, one day we will all be treated right. But sadly I realized that day is to far away, the fight was not worth it. Being mistreated everyday was not worth it. Slaving for people that do not care bout you is not worth it. One day I will find my work family, unfortunately it will never be at Kroger. Prayers for all the employees at kroger on Nashville Hwy in Columbia, TN. Hope things will get better for you all.

Kroger horrible customer service

Date: 3/28/2018 @ 7:43pm
Numbers on receipt: [protected]
Cashier: Mia
Location: Fairview Road Kroger

Cashier did not speak to me at all as she was checking me out. Then I gave her my coupons and I had a Mayfield $1.00 coupon a Novelty Item 4pk or more. She informed me the coupon didn't work. I told her I bought Ice Cream Sandwiches 6pk. She said get them. My groceries were already bagged and in the cart. I said excuse me she said get them. I said they are in there and pointed to my groceries. She continued scanning my coupons then told the courtesy clerk to find the sandwiches if they were in there. I said don't worry about it because her line was long enough and I knew the sandwiches were at the bottom of the cart since those were one of the first items scanned. I then said you guys have horrible customer service and she laughed at me and didn't say anything else. She took my money and gave me my receipt and started ringing the next customer. This is not the first time I have received bad customer service. I live 7 minutes from this Kroger and its a convenient store to shop at; however at this point I will drive somewhere else to do my shopping. I spend entirely too much money in this store to continue to get treated like this. Management continues to allow the service to go down. Unfortunately this receipt didn't have a survey on there otherwise I would have completed it along with sending this complaint.

Kroger unethical behavior

I was shopping in the Marmet WV Kroger store. The cashier Selina was checking out another customer in front of me. Another clerk, James came up to Selina in an aggressive manner. He proceeded to scream, not just talk loudly, but scream at her. He said, and I quote, "you dont tell me where to park my damn truck"! She didn't say anything back to him, she continued on with her customer. Then he came at her again poking his finger with in an inch of her face, screaming the same obscenity. I felt very uncomfortable. I thought he was going to hit her. He towers at least a foot taller than her, It is very disrespectful for a man to talk to a woman like that. He had no right to act that way in private, let alone the public. He scared her and humiliated her. I believe this is considered work place harrassment/hostile work environment. She started crying and he walked into the office. The lady on duty just said to him, James you need to calm down. Then he said the same thing to her. After Selina started checking me out, I asked her if she was okay. She said yeah, this is not the first time he has done this. He told a customer to bag his own groceries.
If this is the kind of clerks that will be there when customers are trying to shop for their families, I will be shopping at Piggly Wiggly from now on.

Kroger the manager shaud lied to me, avoided/ignored me, was flat out rude to me.

A manager named shaud interviewed me and said he started my back ground check and I had the job that was a month ago I've tried to talk to him about it several times and he has straight up avoided me and refused to talk to me I cud of been looking for a new job if he wouldn't have ignored me and worst of all the last time I tried to talk to him he was extremely rude and told me to leave he can't help me so he lied to me ignored me and was rude to me no employee should be allowed to get away with treating customers this way or possible employees. I've never made a complaint about some body until now this is ridiculous.

Kroger pharmacy

Waited in drive thru At. Kroger. When I got yo to the widow I waited 15 more minutes before they came to the window. I pushed the call button a lot of times but no one answered. There was 3 cars behind me. One of the cars got out of line and went inside and told them there was people at the drive thru. C they said the call button wasn't working but evidently they don't check to see if prettier are waiting in line. My script Wasn't ready and they said it Would be ready in 2 minutes. I said ok. She did anyone behind you in line and I said yes 2 cars. She told me I had to get out of line and go back around and wait. I said for 2 minutes after I set here for 20 or 25 minutes total. She said it's not fair to the customers waiting in line. I asked is it fair for me to have to get our of line and wait again. I asked for the manager. I asked the manager in pharmacy the same thing I asked the other lady. She asked me fo I have to get the store manager to vcome Make you move. I went inside and talked to the store manager. He was very apologic and very nice. I deal with customers on a Dailey basis and this isn't good customer service. I've been a loyal Kroger customer for many years. Very disafied with the customer service I received today.

Kroger customer service

On March 21, 2018 I went into a Kroger store 735 And Houston, TX 77077 on Dairy Ashfird and briar Forest. I had to empty primo water bottles to exchange along with a seven dollar gift card voucher and $87 ticket for an exchange. I told the representative named star at the customer service desk that I had to empty water bottles to exchange along with two 7.00 dollar credits. When she was ringing everything up she told me a owed 14 or $15 and I asked her what she meant because I was exchanging to empty water bottles along with 27 dollar credits so I should just be paying tax. When I said that she became very rude and irate and was belittling me and told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. I told her I was in customer service as well and please help me understand and not talk to me in a negative or derogatory way. She told me that I don't know what I'm talking about and if I do not like her answer I can leave the store or talk to a manager. I asked her again I'm not understanding why you're getting upset I'm trying to understand why I'm not getting my credits along with the exchange for two empty water bottles. She then yelled over the loudspeaker in the whole store for two different managers and went to every cash register pointing at me whispering into the employees years making me feel very uncomfortable
. I really hope that your store has cameras and voice COM because it was out rages Lee embarrassing for your store and your company for her to be talking to a customer like that. I'm not sure if it's because I'm gay but I feel very belittled and very disrespected after that visit.
When the manager Kristine Came to the counter and I explained her what was going on and she told me she understands exactly what I was saying. And told me that she has to always side with her bookkeeper at customer service. Keep in mind she said that before I even explained what was going on. Then after I explained to the manager of the store that I had to empty water bottles and 2 7 dollar credits for water she said technically I was correct. Then I aster isn't that what we're talking about. The employee star then came up and said a few derogatory things which I'm not going to repeat and walked away while the managers just standing there with me looking like she's completely embarrassed. I didn't ask the manager I have two empty water bottles a credit in a seven dollar credit gift card should I just be paying taxes for this exchange. The manager then said I don't " stack. I'm not sure what that means but I just wanted to get to fill water bottles with the two vouchers that your store provided me and was not able to get any of it. I left the two empty water bottles at that store along with the 27 dollar credit vouchers and said I would be contacting customer service because I am too old to argue and let someone be little me where I'm supposed to be spending my money. I'm not sure if it's because I'm gay but if this doesn't get a resolution I will be seeking further action because all I wanted was to full bottles of water while I was exchanging my empty ones and giving them 2 7dollar credits.
My name is Joshua M Parmley.
[protected]
I will never go back to that Kroger store and I go there three times a week and now I have to find a different store out of my way and because of someone that is employed by your company being rude disrespectful and haggling me.
I need to be contacted back in because this feels like a hate crime and the employee made me feel so low that I don't mean anything.
[protected]@gmail.com
I told the manager that customer service from the corporate office would be contacting them because you can't treat people like this so I left my empty water bottles and credits at the customer service desk because I didn't feel like being belittled anymore

Kroger multiple out of stock items

This is my second complaint about this issue. Last time I was told to expect the manger to contact me about my complaints lol, lie. But honestly, I don't want to speak with the local manager, that's your job to police him. This store used to be managed for years and years, decades even, by two of the best in Don Cherry and Ed Asbridge, but the current manger couldn't manage a popsicle stand. There is no excuse for the same popular items to constantly be out of stock. None. Zero. Nada. Zilch. You either come up with a plan to have employees checking the shelves and restocking more regularly or add more space for your best sellers. Retail 101, I know because I was a retail grocery manager for years and years. If I ran out of an item I ordered more until I didn't run out. When holidays and large sporting events came around I checked sales figures for popular items from the year prior and ordered more that week. It ain't rocket science man, it's about a supposed retail manager actually managing his store and his department managers. This store is consistently wiped out of the same items over and over and over and over, month after month after month and it's way past old. Please help for God's sake! Signed me a loyal for 30+ years customer who is about to become a Walmart shopper. Ugh!

Jeff Smith

PS below are two separate photos taken two days apart, one this past Saturday evening at 8:00 pm and another of exact same shelf when I visited two nights later this past Monday at 8:00 pm.

Kroger rude behaviour vindictiveness

I am a 60 yr old retired man with health problems who frequents your Georgetown Plaza Krogers in Dunwoody, Ga 6 to 7 times a week! Most of my family has passed away and my 2 children never call me. I am a lonely old man who has made a few friends with some of your employees. I purchase from this establishment almost daily I enjoy eating my lunch from your dinner there and watching the TV it helps me pass the time away. Which brings me to my complaint. I guess the managers have grown tired of my presence and have decided to disconnect the TV so to run me away?! I am not a rich man and I never am confrontational (*anytime they ask me to leave I go) never disrespectful. I don't have much but I always spend what little I do have with your establishment. So when I came into the dinner for lunch 3/20/2018 Tue. and noticed that the (TV) was not on I went to turn it on and noticed that the "cord" had been removed. I was deeply heartbroken and upset, because I spend more time at Krogers than any place else. It's like my home away from home. I am a loyal customer but I never want to be some place where I am not wanted! I believe that which ever manager removed the "cord" to the TV did it out of spite just to force me away from the store. I will leave and go to Publix or some other store and take my money with me. You really should do a better job training your managers to be more respectful of the elderly. My name is Mr. Boykin my cell# [protected] I will not come back to that establishment without an apology and of course... a working TV!

Kroger manager

I want to start off by saying this is the first for me; however I feel this cannot go without addressing. I am a constant shopper of Kroger, both my kids worked for Kroger and Kroger treated them very well. I was in Kroger Sunday as I do every Sunday doing my regular shopping. I go to the same Kroger for 25 years the Kroger in Kanawha City Charleston WV. It has feel well below the standards of the other Kroger both in customer service and having items stocked. Anyways Sunday I was in the produce and it had looked ransacked they had nothing as far as produce. I weighed my options as far as what I could by for the week compared to what they had and was very limited. I thought maybe go ahead and do rest of shopping and come back to produce when done; however another lady stated that she went to the desk to get a associate in the produce. We waited for about 10 minutes to gather as a lot of customers stated they hated this store and would prefer going anywhere but here. No associate arrived, I went to the floral department to ask for manager the associate stated would get one. So as we stood in the produce a manager walked by we assumed he was coming to see us but he flatly stated that he seen us looking around like we needed help. The other lady ask about the area. He stated that if we gave them 10 to 15 minutes would have stocked they had a lot of call outs for the day, then ask what we needed she said cabbage that was all she came for and I stated 2 cucumbers if you have. I decided to go ahead and do the rest of my shopping cause it a appeared he went in the back of the store. The meat department was bare no chicken, no ribs nothing so I thought well I might as well go somewhere else this is a waist. But my husband likes a certain bread Kroger has so I went to get that at least, while in the that isle that particular manager shows up with several boxes of produce in carrier. He said got your cucumbers I said thank you, you really didn't have to do that and he said to me so matter a fact "yea the world would have stopped if you didn't have those cucumbers" I looked around me and seen many other customers looking and was very embarrassed I said to him "that was so rude, no one should say something like that" but it did not change him he turned around and left. I decided this had turned into something unbelievable and left to shop at Walmart where I believe now for the 1st time in all my years will be where I shop. I seen the other lady in the parking lot and she stated that he brought her the cabbage and was equally rude to her. I believe that if you care about your stores you should know the kind of managers you have working in them the clerks the stockers and baggers has always been the most friendly and the reason I would go, but the manager that day really needs to know if it wasn't for the women needing cucumbers and cabbage there would be no Kroger.
