This happy trio killed one of my purbred registered saint bernards back in aug 2015.
Her name was katie, she was pick of the litter, and just as they have done currently, they used the therapy dog gig to gain my trust.
Katie was in their lives from november 2013 until they euthanized her on august 2015. she was his therapy dog, earned her canadian good citizen award and rally novice title.
I even babysat her and her sister (who I was fortunate to retrieve 1 month earlier, convienced the only reason they returned her is because she was still registered in my name katie's registration was in ryan's name by this time.) in may so the threesome could go to vegas.
Katie and georgia were back in the pack in no time with no issues.
Forward time, ryan was getting pissy because he wanted me to register georgia in kristina, himself and my self. when I said no pick either you or kristina within days I was to come pick her up which I made arrangements immediatly.
Forward a month and out of the blue he texts me that katie was euthanized that I killed her because her temperment was terrible she attacked his new boyfriend, his boyfriends [censored]zu, there cocker spaniel (almost killed her) and kristina.
No forwarning, no pre messages asking to come get her as I do with every dog I produce, wether it is sickness in the family, a new baby or we cant have them anymore. I would have been there immediately!
Nothing! Katie was dead and they killed her!
I was devastated! posted a blog on my face book, people were sympathetic, but no real back up from most. I essentially gave up breeding.
Now with others story coming forth people are now asking questions.
They abuse the handicap therapy dog issue, they choose to kill before return, and I know there home was never really clean, they since moved and as per the previous comments the dogs live in filth, does not surprise me.
You will be on your own with poorly bred pups.
God help you!
They killed one of my opossums as well, by throwing them in a garbage can.
I am so Sorry to hear about Katie, she was Beautiful! I sure wished I had known this before they took my Doozer and put him down at 14 months at Piper Creek vet in Red Deer, paid to have him killed and just had his remains thrown in the dumpster.
