I suggest everyone contact them directly with complaints. The customer service phone numbers typically get you a giggly girl or otherwise extremely unprofessional person. One called me after I partially completed their web form (I read the fine print and declined the offer) and tried to sell me. She hung up on me mid sentence when she realized she wasn't going to get the sale. I called them back and I swear I could hear teenage girls in the background giggling. Like I called a cell phone in a high school cafeteria.

Hello, I was scammed by KNIGHT STICKS ELECTONIC CIGARETTE and am here to warn others. Knight Sticks is a scam. The Customer service is terrbile. I have spoken with customer service representatives: Debby, Devin from knight sticks they are both rude! They speaches sounded rehearsed many times. I would like to warn everyone to stay away from KNIGHT STICKS! If you are looking to get a Electonic Cigarette, I would really recommend GREENSMOKE Brand as I have NEVER had any problems with them... I also paid for EXPRESS shipping costing me an extra $12.95. I would've never made an order with Knight Sticks if I knew they were a fraudulent company.

I placed an order, and after a discusion with my hubby decided to cancel the order, about five minutes after placing the order. The women on the phone said "ok it is canceled " this was on the 5th of febuary, on the 22nd of Febuary they took 79.80 out of our account. I called again, they said it was thier mistake and they would refund the money. It is now june 21, almost a full 4 months later and still no refund. I called to day and spoke with Cathleen a superviser, and she is telling me they refunded the money, my bank has it. I called the bank an guess what, they never recieved a refund from them. Cathleen told me to have them call her well the bank doesn't do that and they said that companies knows this and people just eat the cost and never do it again. well I refuse to eat the cost and my bank is filing against them in my behalf. So I am posting this so I can keep others from having to go thru this crap.

I ordered a knight Stick Electronic Cigarette. It would not stay charged with the USB charger. I then ordered the plug-in charger and a car charger $49.95.
I still could not get the battery unit to charge. I called early last week and complained and they promised to ship me a new battery. It has been a week and I don't have it yet.

Can not get through to Knight Sticks to stop future billing. There was not to be any further charges.
This company is a SERIOUS scam, and they don't even care. My boyfriend ordered the ecigs right before his birthday, recieved them, hated them because of taste and there is no adjustable nicotine levels like any e cig that costs about the same amount and just considered it a loss. Then 19 days after he ordered them, he looked at his bank statement and there were not 1 but 2 charges for bout 45 dollars each. He called them to send the product back to them and the "customer service rep" was insanely rude to him(for lack of words I would like to use). Now I have been in customer service for the past 4 years so far, I have been through my fair share. Later on that night the manager calls him back and proceeds to call him a 3 year old and gave him a conditional not even 1/2 refund of his money only if he agreed not to post any comments on complaintsboard.com or anywhere else except contacting the company itself.
IT GETS BETTER...
She proceeds to threaten him by saying that if he does post anything on any site, even facebook she will use his credit card number and take the money back. This company is a huge scam and only sells these cigs to the US no other country gets these cigs as stated in their privacy policy. I would love to take this company down, anyone with me?

Billing Issue
I was billed for products never received, even though it appears I canceled the order prior to it's shipping. The company had promptly billed my credit card a few days before. I called their customer services department and spoke with a very nice lady. She stated that it would be reversed. That was March 29th. I've had several email exchanges with the customer service person who appears to be as frustrated as I am. She has apologized for this, but has advised me it's been turned over to Devin.
Well Devin, I've emailed you and left you a voice mail. Neither of them have been responded to. My needs are simple and will cost only the return of the cost deducted from my account on 3/29. I believe the information attached to my email will suffice as proof of your vendors misrepresentation of a refund. No refund has been received and you now have the documentation to prove it.
What I'm requesting Devin is the refund of $59.85 for product not received. I'm in your email as of 1:08pm (PDT), 05/03/2010. Time may vary for delivery.

As this is a positive post, don't assume I'm associated with KnightSticks (or anyone else they promote through).
I did the 10 day trial (yes, I read and understood the terms and conditions just fine) and decided that I would not need the 15 cartridges per month they would charge me for. I called and got in touch with a customer service rep and explained that I wouldn't use as many as they would send. He suggested I pay for the KnightStick and a "one month supply" of cartridges and he would then cancel my account. Since they keep my info on file, I would simply have to call and order whenever I needed more.
Yes, it tastes weird, but what do you expect? IT'S NOT A REAL CIGARETTE! DUH!
Devin has a point, they cannot be responsible for those who don't read / understand the terms and conditions. They are written in plain english and must be accepted before ordering.

So I ordered Knight Sticks in January... for weeks I've been getting 4 or more calls a day from [protected]. Usually I ignore them, but tonight I answered. They had my name, credit card number, my address, and obviously my phone number. When I asked the lady where she got my information she hung up on me. Try to call back it's busy. Knight Sticks keeps coming up, so I called them. It took 20 minutes on hold before I got an answer. As soon as the guy spoke I told him I needed to speak to his supervisor. Of course, he was the supervisor... right... so after speaking with this "supervisor" for more than 15 minutes I finally realized a lawyer is the only way to get anywhere. He repeatedly told me that they are a million dollar company, that has no need to sell my information and that it would be a waste of my money and time b/c they would win. Really.

This is the absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with! I tried 5 times to call them, after I pushed the "option" button - 1st time for Cancel - remaining times either Cancel or Customer Service, no one came on the line and it sounded like we were disconnected. I called my credit card company to report KnightSticks as a fraud, I asked them not to let any charges go on my account from this company...guess what...that didn't work either. I got charged the additional $99.00 - and had to change my credit card number so they couldn't keep billing me for additional items (they tried twice). Well anyhow after a lengthy discussion with KnightStick Representatives, no compromises were reached. However their manager accused me of the "definition" of insanity. Because I had repeatedly tried to contact them in the same day. Anyhow, bloggers BEWARE! PS: I have filed a claim with my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau. I am being truthful...wish KnightSticks had the been the same. I plan to continue warning others about them. The E-Cigarette that I have now works great and it is NOT a KnightStick!

We are looking to offer customers a trial offer for our Electronic Cigarettes - a "trial" is a time-sensitive test with terms and conditions. We repeatedly list the terms and they must be agreed to in order to place an order with our company.
People who do not read the terms and are billed for our trial frequently complain that we are looking to rip-off unsuspecting people when that is not the case at all - we cannot help if people choose to agree to the terms while either: A) they have not read the terms, or B) they have no plans on adhering to the terms.
Most customers get their shipment in 2-4 days, which leaves them 5-7 days to try the product and see if it is right for them - if anyone ever needs more time to try their product they only need to call in and ask for an extension and we will certainly give them one.
Other companies do offer Electronic Cigarettes in a non-trial format - you are not allowed to try these products over a 10-day period for free, instead you are forced to purchase them outright with no recourse if you do not enjoy them. With the KnightSticks trial offer you are getting an oppurtunity to use an Electronic Cigarette for an entire week before you pay anything else than shipping and handling fees.
While I commend other companies for offering similar products in different formats, the inherent problem with selling E-Cigarettes out-right is they are expensive products and most smokers do not know if they will like using them - our trial addresses this problem perfectly, which is why so many people have signed up for our trial offer.

Jak45458 don't expect much from the service manager. Oh he may offer you half of your money back. That is what they offered me., , no way, , . I was trying not to put any charges on my Visa Card so I could get my lower teeth fixed, but I figured $9.95 wasn't much so I ordered the trial offer. Ha, then they put a charge of $99.99 on my VISA CARD. The way I have it figured if they scammed you they certainly don't care to lie to you too. Even if I had said yes to their offer I doubt if I would have ever seen anything done. They lied about their product so this kind of company CANNOT be trusted. Well Jak45458 I have been at it all day and all night and it is now 5:10 am and I am so tired. But it is a good tired because you would not believe how successful I have been. I will tell you all about it tomorrow late. And I have so many plans for the next week or so. There are two things I just don't care for. #1 lies, , , #2 cheaters. This is definitely a company that is looking to rip off unsuspecting people. They offer a 10 day trial starting from the ship date but, it takes 7-9 days for the e-cigs to arrive. you are then charged astronomical prices for a product other companies sell much cheaper with auto ships and re-bills. If Knight Sticks were such a good product as advertised they would not have to use these methods to get peoples money. There are other companies that allow you to purchase a small starter pack at reasonable prices, and then, If you are satisfied purchase more refills. If not, just don't buy more, you will not be auto billed or shipped.

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your experience with our company - it is clear from your story that your boyfriend did not read the terms and conditions he agreed to when ordering; these terms are listed in clear visible language on every single page of our sites, and are sent to you in a confirmation email the second you finalize your order. You must agree to the terms when ordering or your order will not finalize.
The terms and conditions clearly state that you will have 10-days from the date your product is shipped to determine if it is the right product for you - if you are unhappy with the product you only need to contact our customer service department to cancel and you will be billed or shipped nothing else. If you do not close your account then when the 10-day trial ends you will be billed for the original sipment in accordance with the terms you had agreed to - if the account remains open after the trial ends, 5 days later we will bill you for and send you a one-month supply of refill cartidges so you can continue to enjoy using your E-Cigarette.
We cannot force customers to read these terms, we can only list them on every single page of our site, make you agree to them in ordre to finalize your order, and send them to you in a confirmation email. Every customer who orders from us is displayed the same information and we receive hundreds of orders a day - the vast majority of our customers are aware of the terms as it is your responsibilty to read them if you agree to them.
However, none of this relates to the incredibly poor customer service experience you just had (I just wanted to inform you how the program works and that there is full disclosure of everything) - I'm terribly sorry to hear about your experience and would be happy to provide you with further customer service by reviewing your account and seeing what I can do.
