I bought this expensive piece of crap in november 2017 and it hasn't worked since day one! I have repeatedly called the 800 number with no satisfaction. The first time it took them 6 months to get the part they said was not working and when they finally showed up yesterday may 25 it only worked a few hours and died again. I called service again and they refuse to give me a new refrigerator and couldn't come out today to fix it even though I have once again lost everything in my refrigerator. The person named pat on ther service line refused to transfer me to someone with any decision making authority and refused to do anything more than schedule service again. I will never ever buy kitchenaid again and believe me the world is going to hear about this. I have been more patient than any human should have to be without a refrigerator and without any satisfaction from a company that sold me a defective piece of equipment and refuses to do anything about it. Do not buy kitchenaid appliances

We bought the whole set of Kitchenaid appliances for our new home and less than two years later the fridge is going in the GARBAGE! I have to defrost it (by taking the thing apart) every single week! I have THREE babies and have to find somewhere to put all our food for a day EACH week to fix this overpriced piece of trash. The ice builds up so intensely that it makes a loud sound as the fan completely stops working. I've had two service workers in to try and fix the problem (replacing the control panel they thought would solve it but NOPE) and all Kitchenaid service line can tell me is to "have a nice day" because there's nothing they can do since it's over the ONE year warranty. I wish we had not been duped into buying this brand because it looks so nice and actually purchased a company who STANDS BY THEIR PRODUCT.

KitchenAid kitchen aid dishwasher model# kuds35fx554. ser.# f21210435

We are senior living on a fixed income. 4 1/2 years ago we purchased this dishwasher from Sears. We had one in the ‘70 that worked well for 10 years. That's ten years. So when we moved into our retirement condo the old different brand died we opted for the Kitchen aid because of past experience with the brand. Thankfully, my wife insist we take out an extended warranty because we started to call for service within 4 months. First there was a problem with the wheel assembly on the top rack. 2 months later it was the same story for the bottom rack. A few months later the same thing again with the top rack collapsing when Itwas pulled out with clean dishes aboard. Then last month the control module died. Nothing worked. We got that fixed only to have it go completely dark two weeks later. You can imagine how thrilled we were when the repair person said " I've had to repair a lot of these models"
So, here's what's going to happen. We will never, ever purchase another Kitchen Aid appliance again, and we're putting the word out to all our friends and family, and their friends and families to avoid this brand forever.
You're motto: Kitchen Aid for the way its made is less than ironic. It's a damn joke!
We have purchased a new dishwasher from one of your competitors. We're hoping for much better luck.

KitchenAid repair parts delays

Our Kitchen Aid refrigerator model KBSC42STS00 failed while we were away on a week long trip. We had $300 of spoilage and are looking at $650 to replace a control board.

When we contacted Kitchen Aid regarding the part, we were told it could be 2 weeks to have it shipped.

That puts us at about a month without a refrigerator.

Would appreciate a refund on the food or the repair costs.

KitchenAid model kdfe104dbl serial f64101118 dishwasher.

Purchased 12 27 16. Had pump/motor replaced 6 27 17. Would dispense water, cleaning agent but would not wash. A few months later would not dry replaced circuit panel. Now unit is out of warranty seems to be doing same as 6 27 17 have service call scheduled for week of the 23rd with Martin's appliances where unit was purchased. Had 2 previous kitchenaid washers that lasted 31 years with out a service call! This will be the 3rd repair call in less than 16 months. Could I have bought a lemon? It does happen. You response would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you can make me a happy kitchenaid owner again. When it works it does a great job. Thank you Jimmy

KitchenAid wine refrigerator - model kuwl304ebs

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this purchase. This is my 2nd Kitchen Aid wine fridge, in addition to many other Kichen Aid appliances. My last wine fridge was wonderful. This model is not.

What's the issue? This fridge cannot accommodate all size wine bottles. The shelves stick on bottles of champagne, Chardonnay, Pinot noir, and chateaunneuf du pape - at a minimum. Not only are the drawers hard to open, but the labels on the bottles are being ripped off because there is no clearance.

I purchased this fridge in Dec. Over the holidays, when I had a few days off, I tried multiple times to call and get someone's attention on this issue. I was repetitively given wrong numbers (no one seemed to know what delt handles specialty appliances) then when I reached the right department, I was told to go back to where I bought the fridge from. That makes no sense. The flaw is in the design and has nothing to do with the store I bought it from.

Can you please help?

This is a joke, right? So I should not store champagne, sauvignon blanc or pinot noir in my WINE FRIDGE. Why did I buy a wine fridge? This is absolutely unacceptable and an unbelievable response. I am almost speechless.

If you bought a washing machine and I told you to not wash dark clothes in it, would that make any sense? I don’t even know how to respond to your comment. This was obviously a complete waste of time. I will be sure to let the world know that if they want to store chamapage, savignion blanc or pinot noir, they better buy a wine fridge from someone else. Wow! This may be THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! EVER!

KitchenAid service support

I purchased a new suite of Kitchen Aid appliances for our new home, May, 2017. Initial issues were met with rapid, professional, friendly response. It was very easy to reach support and callbacks were prompt. I have had ongoing problems with my Cabrio HE washer (as do a lot of other owners) but it took me two days to contact someone at Whirlpool to get a service appointment. Now, the clock on my KitchenAid microwave has quit working. This morning I am facing the same nonfunctional customer service I get from Whirlpool (big surprise). If I am on hold for 20 minutes that is too long, I hang up. I have better things to do. I am beginning to regret not purchasing GE.

The point of this rant is what happened to customer service? Having spent $10, 000 on appliances I tend to lean towards getting better customer service than when making a return at Walmart. Less than a year ago my calls for a few initial problems were handled expediently and courteously with swift resolution. A representative from Benton Harbor even called me to confirm service issues with JB Hunt, the Walmart of logistics. The past couple of months it practically takes an act of Congress to get a service appointment scheduled. I waited, on hold, for an hour and thirty minutes through four attempts to reach an agent by phone. I attempted to use your online sceduling. When I attempted to login I received a message there was no account for my credentials (I created one when I registered my appliances). Sucker that I am I created another account only to be informed that I had no appliances to service. ? The only thing left is "live chat" with another excessive wait time. In the fifteen years I worked for Penske Logistics as a delivery agent for Whirlpool I never came across a single instance of unacceptable customer service. Someone needs to reevaluate the mission statement of Whirlpool.

KitchenAid the kitchen aid coffee maker

I purchased an eight cup Kitchen Aid coffee maker thinking my coffee making would be trouble free moving forward. From day one i noticed that the finished product was not hot but "warm". The coffee is still warm even after first running the water through the coffee maker once then again with coffee in the filter.
I am extremely angry having to microwave my coffee every morning after first making coffee in this expensive Kitchen Aid coffee maker.
My first choice would be my money back but if there is another coffee maker that produces good hot coffee then a replacement would be suitable.

Soooo disappointed in products. Moved to new development Twin lakes, Saint Cloud, Fl. 34772, April 2017. Upgraded all my appliances to Kitchen-aid. In less than a year I have had to have Refrigerator repaired 3x, hood 2x still not working, and microwave 1x. Good thing for builders warranties. The quality of your appliances leaves much to be desired. Will never recommend or purchase.

KitchenAid otr microwave 1000 watt

Purchased the microwave at Best Buy 12/16. Had it serviced 3 times in 2017 for the same issue. The over counter/under microwave light kept blowing out along with display panel disappearing off and on. The board was replaced and it still kept happening. Last time it happened was in October 2017 - supposedly a lose wire. I asked if I would still get service if I had the same issue again because the warranty would expire in Dec. I was told same problem would be covered for 40 days. Sure enough in January 2018 - SAME problem - and warranty was expired. The technician told me the bulbs should last for 4-5 months if I had it on 24/7, which I would NEVER do just because of the electricity bill. My complaint is that the original problem has NEVER been fixed! To add insult to the problem - customer service by phone to discuss means 30 min + wait time, IF you get through at all. I have NOT been able to. Basically I got a lemon and think I'll need to check with attorney general concerning our lemon laws.

Appreciated reading your concerns.

Kitchenaid produces some fantastic products within the appliance industry -- some of the very best reviewed. Unfortunately, even the very best products can run into issues. As impossible as some may think, have you checked the power coming off the 110 socket that's powering the microwave? It wouldn't be the first time that improper power input created electrical problems. Check with Best Buy. Many retailers offer extended service guarantees to protect against this very situation. If you elected to purchase this additional coverage, you may find the the service is still under warranty.

KitchenAid dishwasher

my tenant informed me of a dishwasher leak. We had it remedied asap (end of January this year). The leak caused a significant mold issue and caused my tenant to move out on February 2nd with only two days notice (he does have a mold sensitivity). The repair was done January 31st as was necessary due to a faulty wash pump (invoice below). The technician informed me they tend to fail every three years or so - when they do fail, the water winds up on the floor underneath the dishwasher. This is clearly a manufacturers defect and in my opinion should be a recall item. In short, I had to have mold remediation done as a result, I have to pay a $2500 deductible as the remediation is substantial and I am requesting a reimbursement for the deductible. I would also expect a refund for the repair cost as it is clearly a defective part and in addition, I lost my tenant (very costly).

KitchenAid refrigerator, wall oven & cooktop rebate

I purchased 3 KitchenAid appliances from Best Buy on 12/31/17. During the online purchase process, I was directed to a rebate that was available for the purchase of at least 3 appliances. I completed the purchase (over $7K) and submitted the rebate form online with further instructions to submit the serial #'s of each appliance once received. I received a submission I.D. along with a summary of my submission including the retailer, Best Buy and a copy of my receipt. I had 60 days to enter the serial #'s. After nearly 6 weeks of waiting for one of the appliances from KitchenAid, they were finally all received. It took awhile but I was well within the 60 day window. I went online to KitchenAid rebates to enter the serial #'s and it said the submission I.D. was not recognized. I called KitchenAid rebates and was told that first that I applied for the wrong rebate. I'm not sure how I can be directed to a rebate during the purchase process, confirm on the form that all of my appliances are eligible, submit the information along with the documentation they requested and then find out 6 weeks later that I'm not eligible after receiving a confirmation and submission I.D. Why didn't I receive a message that this was rejected immediately upon submission? The rep told me that I received a text message the next day. I checked my phone - no txt msg. If I had received a text from a random unknown # I probably wouldn't have opened it anyway. Why not send something like this to the customer's e-mail visibly showing it's coming from KitchenAid? Upon further discussion with the rebate rep, he indicated that"oh, ok, the reason I was ineligible was because you purchased the appliances from Best Buy". Why then during the purchase process was I directed to a KitchenAid rebate if the actual retailer isn't eligible? The rep was condescending and sounded like he actually got some pleasure about saying, "unfortunately, regrettably you are not eligible, is there anything else I can HELP you with today?" This is the 2nd time KitchenAid did this. 2 years ago, I purchased of over $5K in appliances for a renovation. They rejected it because the installer had to reschedule and took us a few days past KitchenAid's required installation window for the rebate. $12K later in appliances from KitchenAid on purchases that promised a rebate and I have received nothing from them but a bad feeling about their company, no desire to ever deal with them again and a big headache. This is not good KitchenAid. These rebates are minimal. They are an incentive to buy your products. You offer them. You should honor them. They make the customer feel good about the purchase. However, you have repeatedly not held up your end of the deal. You can be sure when this happens, your customers repeat their frustration to others. You need to make this right! Submission I.D. Hi Can. Appreciate reading your concerns.

To begin with, congratulations on your new kitchen and appliances. You are very wise in purchasing Kitchenaid brand appliances. They represent some of the very best appliances produced for any kitchen. You're sure to have many years of enjoyment from each of these fine products.

Rebates are offered, at times, through different Kitchenaid retailers. Rebates very clearly state the form of retailers that may apply to such rebates and even those retailers that do not apply, such as Best Buy. Likely you were shown this rebate as part of the multiple search capabilities of different websites.

Thankfully, I'd hope you'd agree that you have a wonderful set of appliances. It's why, I'd think, you replaced Kitchenaid with Kitchenaid.

Please continue to enjoy them.

KitchenAid oven trays (2)

Dear
I have bought a set of ceramic oven trays from kitchen aid, of 2 different sizes a few months ago.
Last week the big one broke inside the oven and today also the small one has broken inside the oven.
I am enclosing the pictures.
I look forward to your answer and, at a minimum, i expect you to send me a new set, provided of course the quality is superior than the ones I bought.
I have to say that i had kitchen aid at the higest standard of design and quality, and now i am extremely disappointed.

I ordered a mixer Nov 19 2017 money was taken off my card but no order no e-mail no phone call nothing pretty poor way of doing business. I have sent numerous e-mails still nothing from anybody. KitchenAid 27 inch combo wall oven, microwave

We purchased a kitchen aid model koce507ess wall oven/microwave in august of 2015. the broiler stopped working shortly after using the self-cleaning option on the oven, which evidently heats the oven up to over 900 degrees. unfortunately this feature which is supposed to be useful to the consumer, is know to ruin the components in the door switch which then renders the broiler assembly useless. it appears to be a common problem with the kitchen aid oven because the repair man said when he called for replacement parts, they said they have a re-engineered part which is a substitution. this is code for the original part was not made to last.
I am out several hundred dollars for this repair and think after two years the quality of this oven should not be diminished already. i would like compensation for this repair as i have a whole kitchen of kitchen aid appliances which i am now losing confidence in.

Please advise.

KitchenAid kebs208 double convection oven

I have had this oven for a long while but should have gotten rid of it years ago. I have a number of your products. They are coming out to service it this Friday and once again it will be hundreds of dollars for the exact same failure it has had a number of times in the past. If you have the power flicker on and off a few times in a short time it blows the circuit card assembly which controls the oven. The repair is very expensive. It is absurd that you have no protection on this built in to the ovens. When this happens it does not damage anything else in the house. The flaw is in your design and it gets tiresome paying for it. Even though I have a number of your products I will never buy another one. My wife and I are retired and getting ready to build a new house and I will make sure it doesn't have your products in it. You have a poor design and should have admitted it and stood behind it.

Appreciated reading your concerns about your Kitchenaid wall ovens. I have a considerable amount of experience within the appliance industry and can hopefully be of some help.

The problem you're expressing has to do with an inconsistent flow of power directed to an appliance which uses a 220 connection. The problem is not with the sudden loss of power, but rather the initial return of power. This commonly happens with a surge of power that, in turn, damages the unit. It's important to recognise that most manufacturers VOID warranty coverage when this occurs, simply because they're not in control of the electrical flow within your home.

What I'd recommend is getting an electrician to install a regulator on that circuit. It will help control the flow of power and assure that the power shouldn't spike, thus causing damage. Although you may feel it easier to claim the problem is within the design, this is something you'll find can occur with any brand or model. If you regularly have these outages, you'll find out easier to deal with it now.

KitchenAid kitchenaid cover

I purchased this kitchenaid cover for my mom for Christmas. No where did i see it would not fit the Kitchenaid Professional 600. Disappointment is an understatement as this was a gift she really wanted. Taking the bowl and attachments off and take up precious cabinet space defeats the purpose. It will not slide over the bowls that have handles on them. Even if the bowls are taken off it is still too tight and renders the side pouches on it useless.

I purchased all on same day u have replaced our fridge our dishwasher and cooktop not working oven going out... Cook top mad# kecc662bss00 ser# d32380084 wall oven model # kebk171bss00 ser#d32865884 dishwasher kudc10fxss6 ser#f32716380 I am mad u replaced fridge after a year our dishwasher went out in 2 years our cook top 2 1/2 years and for the past 6 months the oven started acting up so tell how does a consumer spend almost $7000 in one day and four years later nothing works had I know your product was not meant to work for more than 2 years I would never have purchased any of them... I have tried talking to you I've emailed u still no one cares that I spent $6724.13 for garbage. It would be nice to get help u got my money

KitchenAid unsolicited promotional ads

The Situation:
I am receiving numerous unsolicited promotional ads from Beyond the Rack even after I sent a last request on October 4, 2017 to not bother sending me promotional ads anymore. (Please see Case_CS576077, _Unsubscribe and Unsubscribe_page_1) I have good reasons to not want to deal with BTR anymore. They owe me money. (Please see Case_CS5652064_[protected]_Prefile_missing_credit)

Hereunder, you will find a list taken from my Outlook Inbox of emails sent to me by BTR. You will notice that they are all dated after my last request on October 4, 2017. I do wish BTR would stop.

KitchenAid dishwasher kdpe234gbs0

We purchased this dishwasher from Home Depot on 11/18. From the beginning it didn't work, didn't wash the dishes. It took almost ten days to get someone out to replace the motor. Even after the motor was replaced, it STILL doesn't thoroughly clean the dishes, and the inside and dishes remain soaking wet. So the heating element is apparently not working either. I called the warranty line and all they could offer was for me to check the drying agent, which I had put in the dishwasher to start with. It had nothing to do with that. They offered to call another repair service to "get a second opinion." Not sure about what. At this point, I'm ready to return this dishwasher and get my money back. Very disappointed in a product that was supposed to be a great buy.

I also have the same model KDPE234GBSO. I have had it about 5 months and it leaks really bad. Paid alot of money for this. What is up with the american made stuff? Instead of giving lip service they should 1. build a better product, 2. have the repairs done on a priority.

This is a nice dishwasher. The Prowash and third rack are especially nice features. I would contact Home Depot about just doing an exchange.
