I would like to start by saying that I have had 2 moves with King's Transfer and the first one went well. My complaint for the second of my moves centers around a person who could be the most flagrantly incompetent boob I have ever had the displeasure of working with. His name is Ron Proudfoot and he works out of the Mississauga, ON office. If you ever have occasion to be saddled with this rude, pathetic, waste of space that no one, including his coworkers have anything nice to say about, run the other way. Ron Proudfoot personally screwed up every aspect of my move from miscalculating the number of boxes, sending trainees to pack breakables without the proper oversight, so packing was not labeled or recorded correctly, and to this day we still don't know if we have everything we moved. He overestimated the cost of the move resulting in craters (people who build crates for large fragile items) sitting around waiting for approval to crate things. Ron Proudfoot left everyone shaking their head in disbelief that so many errors could be made with just one move. On top of making an incredibly stressful pursuit such as a move nearly intolerable, our deadline to be out of the house came and went as Ron proceeded to take our packing crew and send them to another job before they were finished. I went out to get drinks and sandwiches for the workers and Ron saw this as an opportunity to run out on me leaving me with a whole room yet to be packed, 4 hours past the deadline when we were supposed to be gone. I called him to ask what was going on and he proceeded to tell me to "go [censored] myself" and that he "guessed I better start packing my goods myself". I must have stood there with the phone in my hand for ten minutes wondering if this could really be happening and how could this man have a job. How a company like King's Transfer could pride themselves on good customer service and employ an arrogant, worthless pieces of dung like Ron Proudfoot is beyond logic. I'd also like to give a shout out to the rude frogs in the head office who had the gaul to criticize my behavior instead of attempting to get to the root of the problem. You people absolutely suck. You should let Quebec succeed from Canada and become part of France where their arrogance and rudeness will be less apparent.
