King Soopers - Everything

Nice Government Food Bank.

Horrible employees and service.

Out of stock

Filthy

Rude [censored] employee at the self checkout on 4000 Red Cedar Dr. kept placing a cart in my way. 3 times after I moved it out of my way. [censored] off.

Just bring in the robots already, they have more personality than your lame employees. Mop the floor. Wipe off the freaking scanner on the self checkouts. Ever hear of covid? I'll bet the health department has. I give em a call.

Desired outcome: Nothing .. Since it will not change

King Soopers - Expired item

I came into the store to customer service 745 am Sunday, September 15, 2019 i had purchased a pack of jalapeño bacon wrapped poppers in the meat department on Friday, sept 13, 2019. I pulled them out of the fridge on Sunday and realized the date said used by August 13, 2019. Now keep in mind these were only 7.99 item, but terribly expired, so I felt I should take them back to store with the understanding I may not get my money back, but maybe they would exchange them. I fully acknowledged I threw the receipt away, as I have never taken anything back to a grocery store. My first person I was in contact was the blonde women behind the customer service counter . I explained the situation and before I could finish she said these are over a month old I acknowledge that. She asked for the receipt I said I did not have it she said she would have to get a manager no one came so she seeked welma out. Welma immediately pounced on me reminding me again these were over a month old and this is where it went down hill. She said we would NEVER have expired food on the floor... she might as well called me a liar! I expressed my dismay with her attitude and her lack of customer service skills I went back to the department but the 2 remaining were gone and all replaced with new fresh items expiring sept 30. I went back and again and explained my findings and I reiterated to welma that how she handled this was absolutely inappropriate and could of been handled much differently, such as "oh my goodness let's go check this out "... or let's see what we can do to resolve this ...but Welma chosen path was we make no mistakes and implied I am a liar...I told her I would be registering a complaint about her actions and at that point she said I will replace them for you...it was a little too late ...it wasn't the money it really was to bring awareness that something slipped through the cracks. I left the spoiled food, walked and and request she get some training on her customer service skills. She should not be in any position where she manages people, or handle customer service issues. She was a terrible role model for the woman at the counter but frankly she wasn't very nice either. I was so determined to prove welma wrong I came home and dug through the nasty garbage to find the receipt, but my guess I went to the car wash after and threw it away there. If you can my reward number is [protected], perhaps you can see the purchase on my history if that is possible. My guess, based on both of these women reactions I take it that your store must have a lot of fraud type returns, but not every person that walks in your store is dishonest, and as customer should never feel that way. I wasn't expecting anything without the receipt, but just maybe your store would have a solution for me. Instead I left angry, and this was the result of something no that could of easily been fixed. I hope you heed my advice, customer service is an important part of a business. Granted we all need food, but there are choices where to shop. Thank you for listening.
