KIA Motors kia sorento

I own a 2016 Sorento in which the "spoiler" in the rear door has lost the paint, shine and even color.
I live in Miami FL and have watched other 2016 with the same problem. my car has 40k miles so the paint warranty is out, but this started way before then, I just did not think it was going to get as bad as it has. I took it to the dealer where I bought it from nd they said the warranty was over.
Is there anything that can be done about this problem or do I have to go to another car manufactory?

KIA Motors interior trim

I have a 2019 kia sportage I bought July 2018! The trim around shifter was turning black after about 6 to 7 months so I took it in to my dealership and they replaced it but not without giving me greef! Now about 4 mo. later the same thing! Now they are saying its not coverd! I do not agree as this item is not even touched, Please help, Tom I have bought three kias in a row and a Hyndui befor that! I believe the trim piece is defective material from the start!

KIA Motors paint issue on 2019 kia sedona

Car was purchased August 2018. By spring 2019 the damage to the car you see in the pictures was on 3 places on my van. The Kia dealership where I purchased managed to secure me a 1 time paint job of the areas to fix the issue as I was only at 17, 000 kms, but have not gotten any satisfaction with Kia head office with regards to rectifying the issue permanently. It has been 1 week since the paint job and I am already seeing signs that I am going to be in the same position again, but this time at my own expense unless Kia steps up and takes responsibility for selling me a van with either problematic paint or poor design. If I have to repaint my car each year with the same amount of damage, over the next 5 years I will incur approx. another 13, 000 dollars to maintain my car, or except that it is a lemon, drive a rust bucket for the next 5 years until I can get rid of it (for next to nothing).

I would like Kia Motors to acknowledge that they are responsible for the issues and take the responsibility by acknowledging this is manufacture default and recall my van.

KIA Motors lack of parts for kia stinger 3.3gts

hi i purchased a kia stinger last year in united kingdom because lack of availability in ireland, however i had a bit of an accident inthe car ive been trying to source part from through gowen motors on the navan road dublin im now 5 months of the road while my car is de valuing in cost after a frustrating wait for almost 5 months my parts were to arrive in dublin on monday morning this never happened and now ive been told end of august this is i beleive not true as a kind guy told me more like end of october
the part number i require is 64101 j5000 its a front carrier for kia stinger 3.3gts this is the flag ship car from kia which is failing customers desperatly.
ive a live radio debate come up on the joe duffy radio station which is the national radio station here in ireland im been told theres no part world wide by parts department in gowen motors . why couldnt they tell me this when i was bying this car its a joke
i spoke to joe in kia ireland who was no help at all
can someone please help me please.
my insurance is 2200 euro ive only driven on it for 2 weeks im loosing money on storage of the car aswell

KIA Motors kia service center (abou rawash)

Dear sir,
Good day

I bought a car (KIA RIO 2014) in April 2014, the regular maintenance services were all done on time at EIT (Kia's agent in Egypt).

The car's warranty was 5 years (ended in April 2019).

Throughout the five years the car had covered a distance of 65000 km.

In June 2019, I felt there is a problem with the transmission, I went to the service center (EIT Mokattam) to check what's wrong where they told me that there is a problem with the transmission and I should go to another branch (EIT Abou Rawash).

So, I left the car at (EIT Abou Rawash) on the 9th of July 2019 to be tested and the next day (10th of July 2019) I received a call from the engineer in charge and he said that we are supposed to change some parts (the valve along with the oil and silicon) and this is going to cost 18000 EGP and he added that the parts aren't even available right now and that I will have to wait for one month.

When I asked the obvious question "what is the reason for this problem?"

He said that its not misuse, its just the span of the transmission.

"Does it make any sense?" I asked

"A car that has only covered 65000 km in 5 years with all regular maintenance services done on time and the car wasn't misused needs 18000 EGP to be fixed and the parts are not even available"

If that is the span of the transmission then why it was not included in the warranty, why it was not done with the regular maintenance and why the parts are not available.

I understand that the car is out of warranty but I don't believe I should pay all this to fix it.

I request that they pay for it, especially that they are going to make me pay for transportation for one whole month in case they fix it in a month.

KIA Motors delivered service and spare parts not matching with kia standards

I own 6 KIA cars in Kuwait as well as in Syria. As far as I experienced the service with Kuwait dealer. I can say this very directly that the way they act in Syria cannot be KIA's representative. We are talking about low profile carrage and nothing more than this. This includes the following.

1- in case they don't have available spare parts in stock, they offer the customer to buy from local market.

2- I brough one of my two KIA SOULS for painting after small accident and they couldn't match the same color. And after they requested us to change the right rear door and we agreed immediately. However after painting the car twice the color not matching and the window not working .

3- The other Kia Soul was taken to them for the high temperature of the enging. After changing the said spare parts we recieved the car with the same condition. Again they asked me to change other spare parts. They want me to cancel the heater else they will buy ir from local market. I refused both options and I bought it from Kuwait.

4- The are using out-source for many things including the milling .

I think you will need to review the perfomance of you representative else it will damage your reputation specially the cost of the cars in Syria are 10 times double comparing with the region.

KIA Motors 2017 kia sportage

I purchased this Kia as a second owner. The previous owner took top notch care of this car. Always brought it to a Kia dealership for upkeep and has it also documented via car fax! I have had the car for less then ONE YEAR and my car is having problems with "engine consumption." My hardly 3 year old vehicle needs THE ENTIRE ENGINE REPLACED. Since I'm the second owner, Kia WILL NOT help with any of it. After being run around their customer service department for a week and a half with zero answers till I finally spoke with a supervisor was I informed Kia declined to help me. The real kicker, he told me the reason an engine would need repair like this is because it was poorly maintained. I told him I have all documents proving otherwise, and he told me unfortunately my documentation means nothing and I can't fight the decision that was made. NO KIA YOU MADE A CAR AND PUT A POS ENGINE IN IT, AND WON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. My 15 year old Ford that was poorly maintained at 150K miles never needs an entire new engine. Kia... you are a joke. Your customer service is terrible, and your cars are apparently just as bad.

KIA Motors kia service center= roxi egypt

I bought Cerato on April 2016 from EIT Egypt
I had 2 Problems
1- The Radio DVD suddenly has no power, however they told me that the warantee was finished 2 months ago and i have to replace it with a new one with the cost of 20, 000 Egyptian pound !
i went to external center, he simply reset the device in 1 minute and solve the problem

2- they replace the FRONT DISC BR with cost of 2200
however i noticed that the old one s defected from right side not the tow sides which i consider it should be covered by the warrante as manufacture defect

this service affect our confidence and Kia reliability

KIA Motors horrible customer care

My engine failed on me in the middle of an intersection from a total engine fail recall. Took the car to Kia in Northglenn Colorado to get it fixed. They estimated the repairs would Take around 8 months. I had a rental that I was paying taxes for the Kia had promised to take care of all costs to begin with. I hassled on my own time during work hours spoke to enterprise to stop charging me because I was getting late fees in my bank account. Finally after the run around Kia finally spoke to enterprise and settled the matter and I got my money back. I was trying to sell or trade my car in only to find out after being promised they would take care of financing I would have my dream car and drove it for 3 days only to find out I wasn't approved for my loan so I had to bring the car back to get my old car that was fixed so I thought! When I got into my 2013 Kia Sorento the engine light was on for a 02 sensor repair and to top it off my car radio no longer works! My car was dirty they couldn't even wash us as it had been with them for almost 4 months! The radio was working fine before my car stalled and I told the Kia manager Tim that and he said he couldn't do anything because for all he knows he couldn't have been working! I will never purchase a Kia again and I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to purchase from Kia for having unreliable unsafe cars and horrible customer care service.

KIA Motors the new car I bought did broke down in 3 hours from leaving the showroom

I bought KIA Telluride 2020 from UAE Sharjah showroom on 27 Jun 2019 recived the car at 7pm no issue and on the same day and after driving 40km the car broke down due to engine overheat and I retuned the car same day at 10pm to the car dealer. That was shocking to me and I tried to know what happened to the car I was notified after 2 days by the delare that it is a small issue (fan problem) and the fan was replaced and they told me to pick up the car on 1 July 2019.
I would like to complain about the way this issue was hundeled and I asked the dealer if they can give 3 free Service to the car in compensation to this inconvenience happened to me as the brand new car has a manufacture malfunction and they have confiscate the car for 3 days to fix! but nothing was offered by them!

KIA Motors 2016 kia sorento transmission

I purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento January 2019 from Stew Hansen Hyundai in Des Moines, Iowa. I enjoy several features of the car and feel I paid a reasonable price.

What is not enjoyable is the way the car shifts. From a stop, the "Normal" setting is sluggish and then without warning, it kicks into high gear almost giving me whiplash. The same is true of both the "Eco" and "Sport" settings.

I'm wondering if there's an adjustment the local Kia dealer in Des Moines could provide?

KIA Motors sportage awd 2.0 diesel 2013

Purchased in 2013..after 60 000 KM fuel economy has regressed. Kia dealership did 100km fuel test and found all ok.

Please understand your fuel test is based on 100km/hour.

I am travelling quite often to Durban and mostly auto cruise on 120km and the fuel economy is in free fall. The vehicle uses up a whole half a tank of deisel for 280km trip.

Please understand my complaint is at 120km/hour not 100km/hour. Kia South africa dismisses my complaint based on result of fuel test at 100km/hour and no further diags is done.

If this is still Kia's contention that there is no fault with the fuel economy, then i can only conclude that this is collusion with fuel Companies which should be brought to the attention of the public domain.

I simply cannot believe that such a vast difference exists between 100km and 120km/hour.

Please advise urgently.

I was told by one of your Staff one year ago that they help me get the steering parts which is still under warranty and I triple confirm with them I no need to pay for it. KIA Motors car not repair after 2 months

My name is Jeffery Guok. I had an accident in March 2019, for repairs I sent in my Kia Cerato KX to KIA Glenmarie branch in Malaysia. I was told all repairs now is centralised in Kia Rawang branch and I was assured it will get fixed in 2 months time.

In mid April 2019 I called Mr. Azuan to check how was the repairs coming along. I was told firstly the parts had just arrived and they will need around 2 weeks to fix.

In mid May 2019 I called Mr Azuan again, he told me the wrong part has been delivered and needs another month for the correct part to arrive.

This is unacceptable, the repair job is going to take 3 months and more. After many days of questioning and unanswered calls, in mid June 2019, Mr. Azuan has assured me Kia has agreed to give me a loaner car for the time being.

However delays upon delays, empty promises upon empty promises, as of this posting, I have yet to get my car or anything at all.

Since getting my car in 2015, I have consistently been servicing it at Kia service center, as I find that the services provided was good.

However after experiencing this treatment, I am adamant that future visit to Kia service center is to be avoid. And I will be informing all members of Kia car club to avoid your service centers.

KIA Motors kia rio clutch/ customer service

Hello my name is Cristian Fraga. I recently bought a Kia Rio and I have had the worst customer experience. It was last year around May, but I had an emergency operation and couldn't get it until August. Then I went to the agency in November to ask about the services and they told me I had to get the 1st service that month even though it had only 800 km. I left the car and told them that I was perceiving a weird smell when I was driving up a hill but they told me everything was OK.

Two weeks ago I was taking it to get the 2nd service and my car just stopped working in the middle of one of the main avenues in Mexico City. I called the agency and it took them 2 hours to pick me up even though I was in a situation of danger. When I got there they told me that my clutch was worn out. I asked them how was it possible if it only had 9 months of use and 5000 km but they implied that it was because my driving skills and the clutch did not have a warranty. I have a 10 year old Honda Fit and this did not happen to me. I feel insulted and no one I have reached want to help me. Could you please?
