Is it LEGAL to assess whaterver freakin cost no matter how HIGH and ridiculous to an innocent individual when you have NOT started the paper work because your fat [censor] is sweating tryna figure out how to get your truck to operate?!

THESE PEOPLE ARE CLEARLY DEGENERATES AND ARE NOT IN ANY WAY THE UNIFORM OF THE LAW- NOR ARE THEY FOLLOWING ANY LAWFULL AND LEGITIMATE GUIDELINES... when assessing costs!! I was the individual exiting a hospital while in the ER, finally on the very heavenly path HOME. After an excrutiating ER visit, I wish the evil of the tow truck driver had moral compass on hand...instead of releasing my vehicle or unhooking it, he blatantly to make the ever so ravishing decision to ask me for $209!!! to release it...WHAT A PACK OF NUMNUTS!!! YOU WILL FEEL MY WRATH!!! IT IS ILLEGAL TO ENFORCE FEES NOT SANCTIONED OR GOVERED BY ANY LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ESPECIALLY WHILE PARICIPATING WITH THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT IN GAMING - WHILE INNOCENT TAX PAYERS GET RIPPED OFFF!!!

I have gotten my car towed/repo'd on more than 2 occassions and had to deal with Keystone on 1 of those occassions...had I been able to keep everything up to date I wouldn't of had to deal with them, but my experience was that of dealing with a group of profesisionals. I did not get a chance to take anything out of my car before it was towed, and when I picked it up I foind everything to be where it had been left, down to the change in the ash tray. Keystone is professional and though I hope to never have to do business with them again unless its during an auction, I have absolutely no complaints about their mannerism or sense of professionilism.

Most towing companies DO NOT make the decision to have a vehicle towed and stored at their location; it is made at the discretion of a law enforcement agency or private property owner. With that being said, a vehicle that is stored at an impound facility is usually due to the vehicle owner not being responsible for their driving or vehicle owning responsibilities. Not having a current/valid driver’s license, maintaining current registration, paying parking tickets, or simply not being aware of their surroundings and blocking a residential driveway, fire hydrant, or another person’s assigned parking spot are all valid reasons why a law enforcement agency would call for a tow truck. As far as holding a vehicle and not being able to register it; all vehicle registering can be done at a local DMV office in a matter of a few hours and having the vehicle isn’t necessary. The DMV also offers a form called a “one day moving permit” which allows a person to move their vehicle to a “smog” certification facility for testing before the vehicle is registered. Vehicles that are sold at a towing facility are due to an owner of a vehicle NOT picking up their vehicle and the towing facility having no other option than to dispose of it. This is also done through the DMV and is called a “lien sale” process. By the way, it usually takes 40-120 before a vehicle can be disposed of and both the registered owner and interested parties are sent several “certified” letters notifying them that their vehicle has been towed and stored.

Long story short, if a person maintains a current driver’s license, up-to-date registration and vehicle insurance, is are aware of their surroundings, and can read parking signs, they will never have to “deal” with a towing facility. If one forgets to maintain any of the above mentioned requirements that legally allow a person to drive and own a motor vehicle, then they must rely on themselves to correct the mistake.
