Kelly Services Very upset with this staffing place

When I called to apply, several days in a row there was no answer. I drove to the address and went inside to try and apply and was given a sheet with a scan code at the same time the lady lied and said I gotta go to a meeting and tried to push me out. I immediately noticed the link she gave me when opening it up on my cellphone went to a messed up looking website and she gave me another site with my info to fill out. When leaving she immediately locked the doors during normal business but while I was headed out the door she was staring at me strangely as I got on the elevator. As I finally finished the application online it said denied so I turned around and went back to ask why. Well she was sitting at desk and looked at me through the clear glass doors and just pointed at phone to call which I did but oddly would not answer and I see her just walk away to the back of the office. Then she calls 5 people over like 2 of the building maintenance people and 3 other unidentified people so I call corporate and they so nothing on your profile looks wrong and your account looks good and says let me transfer you to the complaints department but the call goes to voice mail, giving me the run around.

Desired outcome: For a reason why denied or error be removed from my profile.

Kelly Services Customer Service

I went to the Montgomery Kelly Services today to turn in an application and my transcripts to get a substitute teacher job and Alisha Harris just looked at me like I was stupid and said i had the wrong application. This was the same application she gave out a month ago. She then told me I would need to call a recruiter names Ayesha Burns, which I did. The first phone call she answered and hung up. And then I called back and it just rang she had no voicemail.

Kelly Services non-stop harrassment

I tried using this company over a year ago to help me find a job. I ended up finding a job without there help and requested they remove me from the list. It's been over a year and they still call and email me. I have received multiple emails a day referring to a new job opportunity. I will literally receive several different emails for the same job from different people. I have call multiple times asking to be removed and have also emailed. I am done being nice and this is harassment. I will never use this company ever again.

Desired outcome: Go away and stop calling or emailing me. You have forever lost my business.

Kelly Services Substitute teacher

On April 5, 2023 Angela Shaw (a substitute at a public school, Ebenezer Middle in Sumter, SC) was holding a discussion in a 6th grade classroom about Easter and God. A student asked if gay people go to hell, and she told the class that homosexuality was a sin and that yes gay people go to hell. The next day, after a student confronted her about this, she told the same class that she needed to clarify something because a child had brought it up to her, and proceeded to tell the class that homosexuality was an abomination in the eyes of God. She also told this class that there was a way that gay people could get that demon out of them and be forgiven for that sin. She had this discussion with more than one class of students.

Desired outcome: This woman should not be working in public schools or with children. She needs to be removed from the school she is at immediately.

Kelly Services Director - Language and Nasty

I had to block this so called Director of your company. I understand companies are your livelihood, however, as we all know companies lie.

The company I was assigned to was prejudiced against older people. The lady I worked with would say, 'these old people just need to leave'. Your Director was too busy trying to please a temp person in a temp position for 8 years. Nobody in the company wants her in their department. The team lead training me and two scientists were warning me to stay clear of this lady. Unfortunately, my manager was transferred because of her. I sincerely believe she and her manager are racist.

The Director was lied to and would not EVEN let me explain. IF I was not showing up for work,

how did I get paid for 40 hours a week? Also, we were not allowed to record OT for Kelly but the assigned company. One of comments to me by your Director was let's move on good luck. OMG!

Your Director needs to take communication lessons on how not to speak to an employee.

Kelly Services Poor management, harrassment

I am writing to complain about the management team as an interpreter working for Kelly Services.

The management team has history of writing emails that are very unprofessional.

They have sent out an email in all red to everyone.

They send emails that make people worried on Friday, right before they leave their office, so when people try to reach out to them, no one picks up the phone; hence, there is no way the recipient of that email can have a good weekend. This is a violation to the personal time outside of work, and just shows the poor management skills, the inconsideration, the lack of empathy that no one wishes their manager to have. You receive no respect as a person working for Kelly Services.

I am writing about the 'Talent Advisor's that have been sending out emails like this, and anyone above that approve this kind of treatments towards employees.

Desired outcome: An apology. A change in the way they manage their teams. Some respect and better treatment for interpreters. Stop treating us like machines, and make it known to the many abusive clients.

Kelly Services Payroll issues and my Kelly representative

I’ve been a employee there going on 3 months and I’ve reached out to payroll to update my w-4 form payroll rep tells me they can’t change w-4 I have to go through my local Kelly rep who you can never get in touch with so when I do get in touch with rep I send update w-4 to her over a month ago my withholding still not changed then this week they change them but to wrong withholding and my fed up with this matter I’ve ask my withholding to be married and 4 not single and none also I Hate the fact that if something was yo happen to me on the job you can’t get in touch with Kelly rep out of Baton Rouge office I give a 100 percent why get Kelly back employees up

Kelly Services falsifying employee work record

My hours to work were Sun-Fri, and says so in the Kelly system. I went to work this past Sun for my regular shift and was told that I was terminated for a no call - no show on Sat even though that is my regular day off. I contacted the office and was told it shows me as terminated and not eligible for rehire due to a no call - no show on Sat. This is through the Jackson, TN, Kelly Services, and they keep giving me the run around about correcting my record. I guess they think that since I have a learning disability that they can get away with it. I am in the process of filing a ethical complaint with the Kelly Services HQ. I recommend not working through the Jackson, TN office until they get new HR people at that office.

Desired outcome: Mrs. Sheila at Kelly Services and all other guilty parties to be fired. To be given my job back. To have my employee record corrected.

I told the Kelly Services Corporate Office in Michigan about the situation, and they contacted the HR at the Jackson, TN Kelly Services to fix the problem. The no call - no show and points has been removed from my employee record, and I am returning to work tomorrow on my regular shift. I would recommend that any person having issues with a local temp agency branch should reach out to the corporate office for a resolution.

Kelly Services Kelly Services lack of hiring and/or clarity

I applied to Kelly for a substitute teaching position in April 2022. All summer I had been waiting on Kelly finish the "Background check". It was like pulling teeth to even get a response from them. All I continued to receive from them was " We are still waiting on your background check" I was denied employment due to a misdemeanor trespassing charge in 2018. I unknowingly walked onto private property while walking around a public pond. With this being said. I plead guilty (accepted the responsibility of my actions). They did the background check 6/27/2022 and was returned to them on 6/28/2022. (Recorded on the copy of the reporting document) 08/12/2022 They informed the school that I would not be hired due to a hit on my background. When I called them to find out what had come back, I was informed that was not correct and it had still not come back yet. Later that day I received an email stating what the school had told me. I responded to Kelly about the event that was being questioned. To no avail. Received a response 1 week later of my denied request to work for them. Now for the background that they never even requested. I have a degree in Business Management (minor in criminal justice admin) I received the Presidential Lifetime achievement award in 2021 for my work with the armed forces. I have been a volunteer at the school (same one I was attempting to be a sub for) for now 3 years. And yes, I pass the background check every year... I have received the volunteer of the year award in 2019 and 2020 for my work with the Service to the Armed Forces Division of the American Red Cross. For which I was the Case Manager on site at multiple military installations. 18 years of volunteer work with VFW group Angel Wings. USMC honorable discharge. (Relativity: The position I was perusing was for an NJROTC class) With all this being said... My question is, With the lack of substitute teachers in our school system, why does it seem that Kelly Services doesn't want to hire anyone?

Or maybe it should be re phrased... Why is the school system still using them if they are not performing their duties?

Desired outcome: Why not some clarity on the decision? Or maybe revisit the process/personnel doing the process and figure out why they are not.

Kelly Services Onboarding service

The Kelly Services onboarding team at Osceola County have not been responsive in the onboarding process.

Every step of the process I had to self-initiate because the team was disorganized and not answering phones.

I’ve been passed around to several different onboarding specialists even though all required documents and fingerprints were already submitted.

A school already employed me but unfortunately we are waiting on Kelly Services. This will cause delay in the preplanning process for the children’s curriculum for the school year.

Kelly Services Waiting 3 weeks for a paycheck is ridiculous. MIRANDA couldn't care less

1. Miranda does not seem to take employee's concerns seriously when it comes to being PAID on time.

2. Miranda does not respond to text, voicemails or emails in a timely fashion.

3. Miranda will tell you that clocking in on time is very important @ Dr. Squatch. On the other hand, this rule clearly doesn't apply to making sure you are PAID on time by simply making sure you are giving a Wisley card to activate first day onsite so you can be PAID direct on your pay card promptly after first mailed check.

4. Miranda will end your assignment if you move your car during work hours and claim you did not communicate although she admits to being present when you spoke about doing so. And claim you were 'stealing time'

5. You may work 48 hours and have to dozens of times and express your concerns about being PAID. Do not expect to actually think this is a priority on a Friday. She will decline and/or ignore your calls and text. Miranda may or may not contact you the following week with an excuse. Yet no solution. Still NO PAY!

6. Kelly Services serves who? I don't know. Maybe the agency, maybe the company they send you to but definitely NOT the TEMPS of Kelly Services.

Side note:

-you are disposable.

-do not get comfortable.

-do not expect to be compensated for

your hard work in a timely fashion

But by ALL means stay motivated through all of this and clock in ON TIME!

Kelly Services Rehiring process was paused rudely and unreasonably by Julia Durrwachter

Hello:

I am in rehiring process for substitute teacher position.

My agent and I finished Section 1 and 2 of Form I-9 on July 19, I contacted Onboarding Specialist Julia Durrwachter about the next step on July 20 and July 25 twice, but she never responded me.

I contacted Recruiting Strategist Susan Baker twice July 26, she also didn't respond me.

What happened on my rehiring process?

If kelly service didn't want me to come back to work, just tell this to me directly. Why they wasted me so much time? Why they induced me to do so much work including get training, spent money and time to get fingerprinting (background check), spent time to fill out forms, etc.?

The result of "my fingerprinting is cleared". I didn't do any wrong thing.

Why kelly service treat me like this way? instead, Julia Durrwachter keeps making mistakes. She kept sent wrong emails to me. She called me "Jane", she said "she sent meeting information to me", she said "she was sure she had a virtual meeting with me".

I totally got confusion. I had to spend much time to explain to her several times, "I am not Jane, my name is Yang Wang, I didn't get your meeting information, I didn't have a virtual meeting with you".

Then, on June 27, she paused my rehiring process before I went to get fingerprint (background check) on July 5. Actually, I had already told her ahead of time that I would have a fingerprinting on July 5.

Since that, every time, I emailed to her, she wouldn't email me back. I had to contact Susan Baker. Then, Julia Durrwachter gave me an email back. My rehiring process is close to the end, but Julia Durrwachter never responded me for my request since July 20.

What happened on her? What happened on my rehiring process? Can you please give an explanation for this confusion?

Desired outcome: Continue to process my rehiring employment application, because I met all requirements, no reason to pause or end my rehiring employment application.

Kelly Services Payment not received

My first two weeks working under Kelly were great and had no issues. The problem started when they didn’t deposit my first weeks work into my account. I’m going into my third week and still have not seen the money I’m owed on my account. I have tried sending emails and contacted my recruiter and assured me that pay was every Friday. Hopefully this issue gets resolved before I go to the department of labor and get attorneys involved.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate my hard earned money deposited the day I was promised during my interview

Kelly Services To get my paystubs without having to pay.

The job I worked for used this company to process my pay. They used them 2 seasons. Both seasons they messed up my pay in multiple ways. To make matters worse they are impossible to get in touch with. Today I spoke with them on the phone where they wanted to use a third party website (where I have to pay to get access to my paystubs). I requested to speak with the women's manager. She wouldn't give me her name and proceeded to hang up on me.

Kelly Services Pay issues

Kelly Services Did not pay on time. When I called to ask about pay was told I was paid being help up by my bank ( Direct Deposit) .. When I asked for Amount I found out they had not even cut a check, they also stated they cant not guaranty to be paid on Pay day. They then claim because I had so much OT that it caused my delay. (I sent my hours on time and had multiple conformation of hours that week) Was told they couldn't do anything about it to get money into my account faster. They later told my Rep. I would have it that day, no later than Sat. They then paid me ( Monday afternoon) 3 days late. This week my check was way short , after looking into it I saw my Federal taxes were 5 Times the should be rate. I called to ask about it. Had to wait for an hour for a Supervisor to call me back. Come to find out due to last week late pay it put 2 checks into the same week. So federal Taxes were over kill. Then they stated 1. they cant do anything about it 2. They stated they did not have a complaint email or Complaint Dept. .. Even though I was told the week before I could file a complaint.. So now I am still paying a price for them being last last week. Fix your system, and I want the pay your shorted me due to your error. It is not my fault you paid me late last week which not only caused me late fees on my bills. It is not my fault due to your late pay that It pushed me to a higher tax rate for the week. This one check's federal Deduction amount was more than the other 3 amounts combined. It was 5.25Xs more than the 70.5 hour check that was paid late.

I feel I should not be penalized twice for the Kelly issues. My check this week is basically 2xx.xx Dollars short alone.

Kelly Services Kelly services sexual assault cover up

Was forced by contract employer to arrive to work 15 minutes before start time, but we were never paid, even though we were forced to work.
Kelly services allowed their female employees to be sexually assaulted and refused to help. Only stating not their problem but contract employer problem.
Sends you to jobs that you clearly are not qualified for and refuse to listen.
Refuse to do anything about the fraud they and contract employer are doing and when you threaten lawsuit or call to attorney they say not their problem.
Want to be sexually assaulted and be forced to commit time sheet fraud go to wor kelly services

Kelly Services I applied for a job on indeed, and was denied the job due to a misdemeanors not aligned with their policy

As I was called by the recruiter and told that their policies didn't allow for my employment. As I asked for a copy of the background check. I was told that they didn't do one, but my misdemeanors was not within their policy requirements. I continued to ask what the policy was, I was told that he didn't know what the policy was and it wasn't disclosed to him. So I stated it's poor business to say that you can not hire because of a policy of which you don't know what it is and no one can disclose which policy my misdemeanors go against. I wasn't offered the job not because of a policy. I was not offered the job because of a discriminatory bias against the misdemeanors I had. At no time could they state what the policy was. At this time I'm glad I am not working for a company that bases their decisions on a discriminatory bias with no real policy to go off of. I was told how my resume and job experience made me the perfect candidate for the job, the recruiter and his manager approved me for the job placement until I filled out the paperwork and background check. It was a discriminatory bias decision with no clear policy to back up their decision. I'm reporting discrimination and unclear unwritten policy guidelines.

Kelly Services Indiana

Moved to state of Indiana about 29 months ago after a divorce caused by medical as had no place left to go. As had to live in my van in my brother's driveway. Accepted employment at Smithfield Foods Peru, In. and was there close to 2 years until had enough of their working conditions. Smithfield Foods doesn't care about people only legal loopholes to make what they do right. As Smithfield Foods is holding up my unemployment decided to start searching for employment in this area. Kelly Services comes up many times with employment that matches what I'm the best at. As worked for Kelly Services before in Bristol, Va. sent resume and did all paperwork involved to Kelly Services Indiana. Don't know what town this was going to but number they text me with is a southern Indiana number. Got all the way to end on receiving employment and 2 emails were sent to me from Kelly Services Indiana. When read through I-9 form it made stop to read again. After working 40 out of 42 years all over the U.S. this was a new one for me. I have all of what's needed for my identity as 6 months ago just changed my drivers license to state of Indiana. What I'm being told by Kelly Services Indiana is that I have to have someone to put their name down as my "acting agent" and have to go with me for process. This to me is very stupid and boarder lines discrimination. I choose to live alone by myself now. I have no friends and for relative's I have my brother that resides in Indiana but works on road and is gone months at a time. I have no one that's going to place their name down as my "acting agent" and for that matters don't want anyone doing this that I don't even know. Have been told by Kelly Services Indiana to just go to the library and pick someone or to get a former work associate and have them do this for me. I'm told by Kelly Services Indiana that this is how it is now for I-9 form. This should have been stated that it's how it is now for Kelly Services Indiana as never had to do with anyone else or even heard of in 40 years of working. I choose to live my life the way I do my way and not going to be treated like I'm wrong because I don't know anybody here. I don't want to know anyone here as not sure how long I'm going to stay here. As for work associates, my first day at Smithfield Foods the team lead gets the 2 of us new hires and states" if you have came here to work to make new friends to hang out with then I don't need you in my department". Found to be strange but not any kind of problem for me. Wanted Kelly Services Indiana because I'm not sure on how long I'm going to stay in Indiana. Needless to say Kelly Services Indiana will never be used by me ever again, but going to email I-9 form that was sent to me to every legal firm I can to see if they want to be my "acting agent". Kelly Services Temporary service no response

Hello,
I left my previous position to accept a job that Kelly really sold me on, telling me the company would provide training for me. I should have trusted my instincts and seen the red flags as the company hired me right away, knowing it was an industry change for me and they were vague about the job duties when I specifically asked. It was a horrible job. I realized too late that the company churned through employees like paper towels. I found hundreds of scathing reviews and even the staff would tell me "run" all the time. I contacted the manager and my liaison at Kelly, Grecia Rodriquez, several times about the lack of training, and my concerns, to no avail. The company told me I was "doing great" only to abruptly terminate me the next week as"not a good fit". I contacted my agent Grecia, by phone and text several times, pleading for her to call me and what were the next steps? They never call back. I check the site for jobs but don't find anything. The recruiter and this agent completely ignore me and have not called me back for two weeks. I can only assume I'm on my own now. This has been the worst employment experience I've ever ad in over 30 years as a business professional.
