This breeder has tons of dogs on her premses! They are left out on the cold in dirt pens! She has sick dogs. I had let her take my female dog to her house to be bred and she came back to me with an infection that costs me a lot of money at my vets.She had gotten an infection from her dirty male my vet said.I would NOT recoomend this PUG breeder at all.
She is a PUPPY MILL and does not properly take care of her dogs.All she thinks about is the money and not the wll being of her animals!
I have my vet bills to show proof of my dig contracting an illness while at her house along woth a stod contract to show proof that Kara just studs her black male pug, named Bubba to any-one just to make quick money off her her male!
She does not even ask foe vet info on your female or have them vineral diseaase tested like a good stud owner who offers this service should do!
So please be aware of her as she is BAD news!

Can anybody tell me if this post belongs to Barbara Mazur? The post was flagged but I managed to save these tiny pics from a craigslist post in which she was asking for 500.00 for this puppy. There were pictures of an adult Black Pug and a Boston Terrier in the back round of some of these.
If you do purchase from Barbara Mazur, know you are being lied to from the second you open a line of communication with her. Thank you Kara for your post!
True! Everything stated above about Barbara Mazur by Notsurprisedaboutthatone is spot on! When I purchased a pug from her, there was NO vet record, she did the initial inoculation in her kitchen, and she called herself a "reputable" breeder over and over. Well, here's the reputation...awful! I considered my transaction with Barbara to be a rescue mission rather than a pug purchase.

Barbara has posted this defamatory review to retalliate against me as when it came to light how horribly she neglects her dogs I refused to stud my dog out to her any longer. Her dog had a UTI (urinary tract infection) after being bred to my male, cured with simple antibiotics and not a reflection of the health of either dog. Despite knowing her dog was ill, she left her untreated for a MONTH, until the poor thing was vomiting and peeing lots of blood, before bringing her to the vet for treatment. I have emails directly from her proving this, I also have her email trying to be nicey-nice to me on 12/9/12, trying to butter me up so I'd stud my dog to her again. I ignored it, and she emailed me a nasty note 12/11/12 and posted this here. She had to email me through an ad I had online as i had long since blocked any emails directly from her. Again, I have proof in direct emails from her as to both the horrid suffering she put her dog through due to her neglect, and her email 2 days before this posting trying to be all friendly and engage me.
As for my animals- I am not a puppymill, my animals are beloved members of our family. I am able to provide many references from happy former puppy customers if asked, including the adult daughter of a local vet who sees her puppy (well, now dog!). My own vet is happy to speak to the quality of care I give both my adult dogs, and my puppies before they go to their new homes. Barbara Mazur cannot honestly claim the same- her puppies never see a vet before they get sold off for over $900 a piece! She ignores state laws requiring puppies have an exam and health certificate before being sold. Profit is all that matters to Barbara, she does not vet her puppies or kittens she breeds, nor the adults unless they're in dire need. She doesn't even bring them for check ups, just does the shots herself at home. Her poor pets are nothing but 4 legged atms to her, and I cut off all ties with her when I relaized this. She makes these nasty claims against me as a poor attempt at revenge since I refuse to do business with her.

This review is from Barbara Mazur, a breeder is Ware, MA. This 'review' was posted after I refused to do business with her anymore when it came to light howo horribly she neglects her dogs. Her dog was bred to mine and had a UTI (urinary tarct infection) afterwards, which is no reflection on either dog bred, just a biological fact of breeding when 'bad' bacteria is introduced into the female's system during the breeding (it was NOT Brucellosis, but a simple UTI cleared up with anitbiotics). I have emails from Barbara herself admitting she did not take the dog to the vet for a MONTH, despite knowing she was sick. She refused the dog vet care until she was vomiting and peeing blood. I cut off all ties with Barbara at that point.
She posted this defamatory review after I refused to even respond to her attempts to get me to agree to stud my dog out to her again this past Dec. I have those emails as well, where she tries to be all nice and sweet and engage me in conversation in hopes I will stud my dog out to her again. I did not even respond. I don't do business with people who neglect their animals as she does.
I have many happy customers willing to vouch for the quality of care I give my animals, including the adult daughter of a local vet who is NOT my vet, my own vet, and many happy new pug owners in between. I have multiple people wait listed for my summer 2013 litter, coming back to purchase from me again as they're so happy with their first pug they purchased frmo me. Barbara Mazur cannot say the same- please check the complaints against her about the lack of care she gives her animals, including my complaint posted against her long before she posted this false complaint in retaliation. She breeds her females into the ground, litter after litter. She charges $950 for puppies who never see the vet or get health certificates as the law requires- she does her shots herself and never vets any of her animals until they're suffering horribly.
Her review of me is nothing but a cheap shot as she's upset I will not work with her again as she sees her animals as 4 legged cash machines and nothing else. It is beyond her comprehension that there are breeders out there who aren't like her.
Again, I have all emails showing how she neglected her poor girl last spring when she had a UTI, as well as her recent emails trying to engage me so I'd stud my dog out to her again. Barbara, if you think my dogs are so mistreated and your dog 'contracted' something from mine, why did you email me all sweet on 12/9, then when I ignored you, you emailed a nasty email on 12/11, the same day you posted this? I note as well you contacted me through an add, since I have long since blocked your email and you could not reach me otherwise.
If a breeder doesn't ask you for a recent Brucellosis test on your female, you should run. This disease is very contagious and can cause your female or other dogs she comes in contact with to never be breed able again. This is one of many reasons we artificially inseminate our dogs. As much as we love them they aren't the cleanest animals. We have gotten so frightened of bringing disease into our home that we no longer stud our males out.
