donation #22640
I made a donation through Justgive.org for a turtle preservation charity in memory of the death of a friend. I never got a receipt. I then sent an email requesting my friend's wife get a letter of acknowledgement. I received an email with the support request #22640, stating they received the request, is being reviewed by support staff, and that they would respond, but they never did, and it is now mid-October. My friend never received an acknowledgement. I've been robbed and scammed.

Recently I donated to one Animal foundation and the company I donated to still hasn't received the money. Three weeks ago I made a donation and for some reason money wasn't transferred to the foundations account. I can't reach anyone from Justgive website. I would like to know what is going on and where my money is. This website doesn't seem safe to me. I'm really nervous because I want to know why does it taking so long, and why Justgive didn't contact the foundation I donated to.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I'm sorry that you had trouble getting ahold of anyone at our company to help you with this matter. Per our policy, we cannot disclose any personal information regarding donations that involve confidential information such as names, businesses, and addresses.
We send a check after the 10th of every month for the previous month’s donations. For example, all donations made online in March will be sent to the charity in the form of a check after April 10th.
Please note that for donations of American Express Rewards points, there is a waiting period of 6-8 weeks, as the points are processed and converted into a dollar amount before a check is mailed to the organization.

JustGive is clearly a fraud, running some sort of scam in retaining donations made to charities. Donors BEWARE.
Nonsense, JustGive. I donated on April 10th, 120 days ago, and my charity is still waiting. JustGive has not returned a SINGLE phone call, and it took me eight hours of relentless pursuit to get anyone to finally admit that there was a "problem." My charity is still waiting. Donors BEWARE!
Our donation was missed
Just don’t donate money through the website www.justgive.org. My husband and I recently donated money to the school, but they haven’t received this donation. We tried to reach them and asked about our donation, but no one replied to ours emails. We donated money 8 weeks ago, but this website fooled us and didn’t transfer money to the recipients. Something has happened. Please, post comments about your experience with them. Thanks.

I became suspicious after no check was sent
Justgive.org sent me a mail offer to invest with this so called well to do financial company. I suckered in to it after the third mailing. I became suspicious after no check was sent when promised. I then knew I was ripped off as their number was disconnected and my letter returned with "no such addressee".

I was charged for 2 items on my Visa Card. Tried to call with no results
one on 4-29-17 for $10., second charge 5-1-17 for $10. Total $20.
I do not know this company. Need changes refunded. Where do I go.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience - unfortunately, I don't think you've left a review for the right organization. We don't (nor have we ever) sent any mail offers to anyone. We're a site for charitable giving - we process online credit card donations for nonprofits. If you're interested in donating online, I'm sure you'd have a pleasant experience at JustGive.

Maybe. But many HAVE been defrauded by JustGive. I donated 50, 000 points to a charity on 04/10/017 and it never received its check. JustGive has not returned a SINGLE phone call in 120 days, and only replied to am email last week (after ignoring more than a dozen before). The Internet is FULL of folks who report that JustGive never sent the charities the money. Sounds like systemic fraud or theft to me. My charity is still waiting...
