10 days ago I contact JAnswer to give me a medical advice and paid £5 online for the service with my credit card (they give
me a futile information anyway).
Today... They take out from my bank account £35 without my permission! I dind't sign anything! This is a realy stole. Are they using my credit card numbers to stole me when they want!?...
I hope that someone can help me but I'll report autorities this case.

I agree to the $5.00 charge for an answer, but not to the $46.00 I was charge for. When they ask me if I was satisfied with the answer I told them no, the answer I received I already got it searching for free on the internet. I thought they were going to give me the name of a lawyer locally. My trial membership was supposed to end on 04/10/2019 and my account was charged last night 04/10/2019 for $46.00. This is a scam dont fall for it. I sent them an email on 04/09/2019 cancelling (see attached)

My wife suffers from Alzheimer disease. According to credit card statements from June 2018 she asked a question on Just Answer web site thinking it was costing her$5. She apparently put this charge on her credit card. Just Answer has been auto billing her card $46 a month to present date March 2019 to a total withdrawal of $412 from her account.
As her husband and caregiver she was unaware of what she was doing at the time, not understanding the terms and conditions.
I called Just Answer customer service asking them to please refund her money as she probably thought she was getting a question answered for $5. My request for the refund was denied because they said she did not cancel her membership within the 7 days.
The disease is much worse now and she does not remember the ordeal at all.
Just Answer is not out any money by refunding my wife's money back to her card account, and can deduct the $5 for answering what ever question she was wanting answered. Respectfully, Fred Holwell email: ( [protected]@bresnan.net )

On 22/03/2019 I asked a question about a computer problem the so called expert did not have a clue what I was talking about and DID NOT resolve the issue at all- I conatcted you about this and was told I would get a refund of the charges FREAKING $84 - NOT ONLY did you charge me but you DID NOT refund the VERY over priced charge for USELESS information - I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

They continued to charge my account without my authorization. I authorized a 5.00 charge and two days later they charged an addition 39.00 and then three days later they charged an additional 46.00. I called and spoke to someone obviously from out of the country and they refused to address my complaint. I am concerned that they even ended the membership that they claimed I authorized which I didn't sign up for.

On the 27th February 2019 I was searching for an answer on a service I could not easily find an answer too.
Just Answer pooped up - You said that for $5.00 which you would refund if you couldn't answer, I thought O.K.
And I gave you my credit card number - next thing you said that you were going to charge me $72.00 !
I promptly objected to that, and told you not to proceed, you ignored that and the next thing I new was when my bank
statement arrived today 29 03 19 with a debit of the $72.00.
I demand an immediate refund but you will probably ignore me as you are obviously just another bunch of ripoff merchants.
If U do not hear back from in the next 24 hours, I will take my complaint to the Commerce Commission

You are deducting 52.00 a month from me and I have not asked for a membership. I did a one off advise on my bmw 12/1, it was $8.00.
You have charged me $52.00 per month for 3 months. I had not realised as I have two family members very sick and not balanced my credit card.

I asked a question yesterday about Rental of a home in which the tenant has not paid for 2 months, and even after an Eviction Notice still refuses to move out.
Instead of answering the question, Just Answer charged me $63 and $5 without an answer, and without my permission.
I feel annoyed. And this is a bunch of lawyers who promised to answer my question, and instead stole my money.

I went onto the just answer web site to ask a Facebook question, I was directed to the payment section, prior the site advertised it was a $5.00 totally refundable one off payment, but when I went to PayPal today I notice I was charged $70.00 with following monthly $70;00:

Looked online for an answer to a problem that, had I known the company charges and keeps taking money from your credit card company, I wouldn't have gone through with it. It's truly an underhanded trick for a guy who used his wife's pregnancy to create empathy from others. This is nefarious. I received no money back for 7 months of free money for these people. I hope they have to resort to making an honest living.

I paid £5.00 to ask a question - this was authorised I did not authorise the additional £40 taken from my Bank account and would like this refunding.
Just Answer advertise that they can provide legal advice for a fee of £5.00 however then deduct £40 in addition without your authority or knowledge.
This is false advertising and extremely misleading.

I am having a problem with my car air con. I was seeking help from forums when this site popped up asking if they could help. I thought it was a forum chat. I explained my issue and I was surprised at the speed of the response. I was asked a number of questions and asked if I would like to talk to a mechanic who could help me. I did.
I was directed to another page which asked me for a $5 good faith deposit to talk to a mechanic. I thought about this for a while and decided that $5 is not a lot if it helped.
This took me to another page labelled UK Mechanic (I started out on an Australian page which is where I am), and asked if I would like to be directed to a mechanic. I followed this hoping to talk to someone who at least was familiar with my car but I was suspicious about the UK part.
I was directed to yet another page which informed me that if connected I would be liable for another $45 as balance of a $50 advice fee.
None of this was explained to me before.
I realised then why the response at the beginning was so fast. I was not chatting to anyone at all - it was a robot who was just asking meaningless questions to suck me in for a re-direct to where I needed to pay.
This is a scam of the highest order. I backed out at this point. I cannot say if there is any worthwhile information at the end of this, I simply object to being led into paying money without prior warning.
If you look at the method used you will see that it is a spider web site.
It claims that you can get a full refund if not satisfied but the site contains no other path but the spider web.
I even entered the complaint into another chat box using some very direct and accusing language, and was offered legal advice at the same rate.
This is their robot again asking rubbish just to get you to follow on to the payment screen.

I contacted you because my Gmail didn't work, couldn't open any email. A technician fixed the problem with remote access but my card was charged TWICE. AUD73 and AUD55 - this latter is the amount I agreed to when he remotely accessed my PC. I tried to get in touch again about the double charge - but guess it was just a virtual assistant - so I didn't go anywhere with my issue.
Please reimburse me for the AUD73.

I signed up for a brief membership with just answer, then when I saw that they took an annual membership out of my bank account, I requested a cancellation and refund of my money on that very same day. They referred to some fine print somewhere in their membership agreement and denied my request. A scam without question. I am sure that much of their revenue stems from clients like me. Never again.

I saw justanswer website and they said 5$ trail member for 7 days and then they will charge for membership per month if you don't unsubscribe. They said ask as many questions as you want in 5$ for 7 days. So I asked so many questions to so many doctors but they charge 16$ to 18 $ per question. I even cannot unsubscribe. Only I will be charged for membership. I want the money back or else I will call my lawyer.

I decided to try the "trial" subscription which I thought was going to cost $5.00. I guess I didn't see the fine print because it signed me up for a monthly subscription and charged me $28.00.
I called to cancel on 3/3, and they processed my cancellation but would now refund the $28.00. They told me I have access to the site until 4/3, even though I didn't want the monthly subscription.
This is a scam to get people to sign up for their service and then they make it difficult to cancel, and they kept the money for services I do not want or need.
I can only hope they do not charge me again next month!

So i called them got live person, could not resolve there told them i wanted my money back amd said they would have supervisor call me yep took my money doubt i will see it in same boat as everyone else.
