The site is not allowing to cancel membership. It's says go to account and under membership pick cancel. There is no such choice.

JustAnswer just answer lawyer

they charged my credit card again after advising them that i was only to be charged a dollar. instead charged me 46.00 last month feb 7th . plus a 1.oo. now again this month march 7th . Bad buisness this site should be shut down given all the crap it has caused hundereds of people.

JustAnswer supposted to provide services

I contacted Microsoft, because I was having problems my email. they routed to this company. When I called I the call was answered, I told them what my problem was. They said their email person was on another call. i waited at least 45 minutes. they never acknowledged while I waiting. Of course they charged, the instant I called. My bank account showed thay had already charged me twice. No one told me that this is a monthly rercurring. The charge on my account showed CA. When googled for the location, is said MD. I called the second time to cancel. They said they could not refund the charges since there were services provided. This is just a big ripoff! the phone number is: [protected]. Apparently, they have 2 departments. There is "remote it" and "justanswer" they both have the same number. Just a con!

Desired outcome: I want an apology and 100% refund. If possible, I want to get terrible report, nation wide on BBB.

JustAnswer Vet services

I contacted JA for vet service and over the chat it was mentioned I have to make a payment for 2 dollars and later when I checked my transaction it stated it was 44. There was no where whatsoever the price was mentioned. I contacted them for a refund and they said its done with your consent and we can't help you.

The so called customer service agent just ended the convo right in between. If I thought that was worse, the online vet said me to take my pet to a vet. cuz there wasn't any data for the case. Like wow! I said 44 for just that.

Thanks JustAnswer for the wonderful service and Not a SCAM. I REPEAT NOT A SCAM

I too sought assistance thru another site who I later learned connected me to JA. I spoke to that representative and after a brief discussion realized that he lacked the knowledge or ability to assist me, directing me to seek assistance elsewhere. I noticed an additional $46.00 change to me credit card as we spoke, a fee that was over and above the stated $1.00 fee. I told the representative about the fee, and he informed me to contact CS and they would refund the $46.00. I did contact JA via a chat and their representative logged off while we were communicating. I subsequently sent an email to JA though they refused to refund the fee, saying that I agreed to the $46. charge when I sought an answer thru their organization. I feel that this company is a SCAM and will do everything in my power to make others aware of this company and the unscrupulous actions.

I had the same issue as well, which is currently unresolved, but I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I was told by the online chat person it would be $1, and then saw I was charged $32.

Jeff Cavellini, you are running a scam! No answers from a lawyer to my question. Just some guy named Joey who said he was a lawyer, I asked for his credentials. He would not provide any. I asked for his last name so I could check in the Bar database. Nope would not provide! Very Scammy! Got off the site and my credit card had a charge of $88.00! For nothing! I believe you hire people to pose as lawyers and doctors giving advice! You need to be investigated for fraud! Taking people's money for bad advice from actors pretending to help by getting their answers on the internet! You are Evil! You should be arrested! Your company is nothing but a big SCAM! I reported to BBB! I called your info line and complained and faught until I was promised my money would be refunded. Terrible that you use people in time of need to become rich! [censored] LIER!

JustAnswer Fraud

I was robbed on the 5th of march 2022 on my way home. My phone and wallet were taken from me.

After walking back home I logged onto my computer to see if I could hopefully recover my google and social accounts. Google kept demanding I use my stolen phone to verify my email.

I did a google search hoping for a solution and saw justanswers.com ad listed at the top of the search. i clicked and talked with their customer consultant service about my predicament.

I was told by the customer consultant that I had to join for 1$ before I am connected to a IT technician. I followed their link to their payment page and entered my card details.

In a couple minutes I received a debit alert from my bank for 1$ followed by another debit alert for 46$. justanswers.com snuck in a 46$ membership fee while I was making the 1$ payment. This is fraud.

I request a refund because I've now been stripped of my saving by a fraudulent site. I do not intend to be robbed twice in one day.

JustAnswer Trial for Experts Mechanic

I was looking for some information about my subaru and was mislead that an experts Mechanic would be assisting me.

My first complaint is that I was lead to believe I could try the site for $1 for a month, then I would be billed $34 a month, and that I could cancel anytime. I was immediately charges $35. I have tried unsuccessfully to get my money refunded.

2nd I was offer the option of speaking on the phone which I thought would be easier/better. To my surprise I was connected to a person that barely spoke English and was definitely not a mechanic but using a tree to answer my

questions.

3rd, It was very hard to cancel the account, it kept sending me to a chat loop, I would ask to cancel and for a refund, they would send me to someone else and I ended back at the same spot.

I have sent an email requesting a refund and id finally get me account canceled after quite some time.

Beware!

Desired outcome: Refund of the $34 as it I was told it would only be $1 and I would not be billed for a membership for one month

JustAnswer Landlord issues

I went online to ask a question on how to handle a landlord issue and the site said pay $1.00 for your question and once I put my question in another $60.00 came out. They made my current problem worse. I tried getting them to give me my money back online they completely stop me from being able to access the site so I called them. They stated something like you didn't read the fine print I stated I screen shot the whole screen and all it said was $1.00 for a question what harm can it cause just try it. People it cause a lot of harm. Without even getting a response or even knowing if you like the services they charge you $60.00. I called them argued fused and cursed them out, I also contacted my bank and boom refund. Scam scam scam. People this is a total scam. The customer service people are so rude and they are waiting for your dispute and not to handle it. I got lucky I threaten the bbb the news etc.

JustAnswer “Just Answer”

On 3/2/22 I was trying to connect to my internet service, Ziply online. This company pretended to be Ziply and asked for a $1 refundable fee to connect with a Ziply specialist. I thought this was odd, but went ahead and gave my them my debit card because it was refundable. Today, three 322 I see a charge for the one dollar amount and a $46 amount. Everyone I spoke to online said “I could not get a refund because I signed up for there service”. After a long debate which was a total waste of time, they finally gave me a phone number and that woman stubbornly said she would not refund my money. After debating with her for quite some time she said that I could get a refund, but they have not refunded the money yet or sent a confirmation email as she said they would. This is a total scam and I am very upset

I also had 1 question, paid the $1, and was connected to a person who answered my question with one sentence. The fee was deducted from account and the next day another $46 was deducted. I sent an email and was given a list of information to provide. I have given the information in the return email; however in the first response to my email asking for a refund I was told I had been sent an email explaining that I had signed up for the services at $46. I informed them that I had never received an email from them giving me that information. I want a refund of $46 and will never use this service again.

JustAnswer Forced membership fee hidden in agreement.

I went to ask a mechanic a question an the site said only 1 dollar. I paid it. An then after not seeing anything about a membership they bill me $34.00 a second time after the dollar. I called them back an the first call nobody answered an line went silent an then requested a review of my service. I called again an got a lady an she hung up on me when i said i did not agree to any subscriptions i want a refund. I called my bank to put a hold for their business not to keep charging me. Then i called them back today an the man on the line miguel was very condescending an rude. He told me i agreed to it so there will be no refund. I guess these people never accomadate a refund because its all a scam to take your money the first time. They know you wont keep a monthly subscription. Also, my car is still bad an problem wasnt really solved. The guy told me alot of basic info i already knew an his own personal opinion.

Desired outcome: Due to my canceling of subscription i would like to request for a refund for my $34.00. No refund should mean once you use the subscription not lesd then 3 hrs later.

JustAnswer Google recovery

Phone stolen at Walmart. Went to Verizon. Given contact info for Google who does not recognize my first middle or last name, Hotmail or Gmail or phone number. Google sends me info that I am a scammer trying to hack into someone's account. Lost over thousand pictures, all contacts, calendar info with important info on it. Just answer is thief. They have stolen $138.00 from me and no refund.

Desired outcome: I want my Google account back. My parents are now deceased and there are a lot of pictures of them along with my family photos.

JustAnswer Illegal Unauthorized Charge on my PayPal account. SCAM ALERT

I had a question about What'sApp and there was no way to speak to anyone. I clicked on what I thought was a bot chat and somehow was hooked up with an "expert." After a couple of chats and a request to put a "reimbursable" $1.00 on my PayPal, I realized that I was being given stock generic replies that had nothing to do with my question. I just pulled out of the chat.

Just now I discovered that they charged my PayPal account $60! WHAAAAT?. I put in a complaint to PayPal and then googled JustAsk - It is a total scam and they are illegally charging accounts without permission. Not even any sneaky fine print or confusing wording. Straight up scam! This is ILLEGAL! There are a lot of unhappy, ripped off people and I am writing a certified letter to PayPal asking them not to do business with them.

I will also file with the Consumer Protection Bureau AND since I am over 65, I can file a complaint with Elder Financial Protection Network that fights scams that victimize elders. There are a number of agencies to report them to, and I will post them after this is resolved. Consumers need to fight these practices.

Desired outcome: Not only do I want a full refund, I want their scammy and ILLEGAL practice of charging people's cards STOPPED. In the meantime, anyone who asks for their money to be restored should be refunded upon request.

JustAnswer Credit card charge/Doctor not sharing full name

I reached out to JustAnswer to inquire about unusual behaviors about my pet on 3/1/2022 at 2:54pm. I first engaged in an online chat on the website, who told me about a $1 cancel anytime fee to speak with a vet via text. When I submitted payment information, I saw that my credit card was charged $32.00. I received a reply at 3:30pm from someone who claimed to be a licensed veterinarian but would not share her full name. This made me question the legitimacy of the website and the "doctor." I do not trust this site.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund.

JustAnswer Unauthorized credit charges

You guy's have been taking money out of my account since 1-1-20 that I had no idea of, until now. My account was hacked and now I'm finding all this stuff out, so STOP IT. You guy's are [censored], you start with a 1.00 then you see if it processes if it does you start taking larger sum's, just not enough to notice right away (CROOKS) until now. I bust my [censored] for my money concrete paving is what I do, so leaving on a [censored]ty note come out and work with me instead of scamming honest people. 28.00 x 24 month's = 672.00 plus 2 months of 2022 = 728.00.

JustAnswer Billing charges over and over

I contacted justanswers for a question on a golf cart. Received info and then was not interested in continuing with a membership. Now, I keep getting charged over and over again for months even though I have canceled my membership. I joined one time to get info on a problem and received info quickly, however, I keep getting charged and have called multiple times. I want a refund of my charges that have kept occurring on my card since August 2021 and are still being charged

JustAnswer I was charged by this company and I did not knowingly ask for their help

I was trying to check on my Hulu account and somehow got connected to this sight! They then charged me $28.00 ! I want my money refunded and I do Not want to continue being charged! I tried to call the number associated with their account from my bank and their recording says they are not accepting calls at this time! I live on a fixed income and this is money I need returned

JustAnswer No way to cancel and money is charged without my concern

Hello. I have tried one week trial starting from 9 Feb 2022 until 16 Feb 2022 and paid RM5. On the last day of trial I tried to cancel my membership but I cannot do it so. The only option available is changing your credit card number. So, I thought my membership is cancelled and there is no need of payment and only RM5 charged for my free trial. Suddenly on 28 Feb 2022 I received SMS that my card is charged RM124 from Just Answer. Immediately, I logged in there is a word saying "Cancel my membership". I clicked that. Before this it was not there when I checked on my last day of free trial. I got shocked and chat with them and they said refund cannot be paid. I chat with 3 customer agent and the last one replied as follow:

This is a two way process wherein both us has equal rights and responsibilities. We have given you terms and conditions to educate you about the service that you signed for, and on the other hand it is your duty to read it and understand it. I believe I have provided all of the information that you needed to know about your concern for today. I will disengage this chat session. I can understand their terms and conditions and everything. The problem is this thing happen without my concern. When earlier I search for the cancel button I cannot find it, and I thought its already cancelled. When I said this to them they replied "Again, if you are having issues cancelling your membership on that day, you should have reached to our customer support team and it is on the website and we are open 24/7."

I do know its a cancelling problem, I thought its a process of already cancelled. And that time if I'm not mistaken my RM5 already charged and I thought everything finish already. I already explain everything and seeking for a refund but they say cannot. When I was in online with the first 2 customer agent, they suddenly offline, but here I was typing my reply. I only able to cancel my membership after money charged, where I logged in right after my charge on debit card. If I know I'm a member I will have chat with the Dr after my trial period. But because I know that my trial period end, I did not chat with them as well regarding my pet problem. Since its a auto debit I cannot stop the payment process. They have to stop it. Im a student and RM124 really matters for me. I really thought its already cancelled and that is the process. If I knew it earlier I will sure seek help from 24/7 chat.

Please do solve my problem. Thank you in advance.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response and I really need to refund. They do not want to understand my site problem. They keep on telling about the terms and conditions.

I asked a question on 2/22 on my iphone while I was trying to resolve something with Apple. I had no idea it would cost $46 until I checked my cc account today 2/28. There was no trial period and they refused the refund. The answer I received was no help either.
